Been playing through the Resident Evil games with my wife. We started with 7 and 8 because she said they are top notch and they were. Then we went back and started with one and are working our way back to 7. Currently playing 4. I can see why 3 was so disappointing. It really should have been combined in some way with 2. And we were playing the remake and the whole time my wife is lamenting "oh my boy! Look what they did to Nemesis,my boy!" XD I kinda liked it though?

Now we're playing 4 and I am loving the heck outta this! So beautiful and reminds me a lot of Village.

I was pretty skeptical of the 4 remake at first, but then I played it and I shut my dumb mouth pretty fast. It wasn't quite the same goofy mid-2000's experience of the original, but it was still plenty cheesy and really fun. A lot of nice moments where they use the level design to play with your expectations based on the original and then subvert them in a nice, clever way.

Been playing a ton of Monster Hunter Rise these past few days (I got a used copy for cheap at GameStop) and man. It is sooooooo much better than World! Not that World was bad per say, but it was certainly clumsy in certain aspects, which is to be expected considering it was the first Monster Hunter game of its specific formula.

My only complaint is that the hunting horn feels so much worse to play with than in World, which is a shame considering it used to be my main. I switched to dual blades instead, they still feel great. The hub quests are a bit annoying too, but that's no fault of their own: I don't have a Nintendo Online subscription so I'm forced to do them solo, which makes them harder, but mostly really long to complete.

Very excited for Wild! I sadly probably won't get to play it for a long time, cause I wanna get it on PC to get to play online with others, and I first need to upgrade from my old gaming laptop. But I'm very excited nonetheless, if only to get to see my friends play it :)

P.S. I fucking love fighting Aknosoms, they're so fun to hunt! And their design is really cool too :D

Tried giving Overwatch a try again with all the new updates they're adding to the game in an attempt to regain their player back from Rivals. Not a fan of the perk system after a few rounds, and besides if I wanted to play Paladins I'd go play Paladins. Probably just going to stick with Rivals in the long haul since I'm having more fun with MR than this last ditch attempt to save OW.

It's a shame, honestly. I love the world/art/characters/etc. of Overwatch, but the game just sucks now.

I used to be big into Overwatch, I was a hardstuck plat Reinhardt main. It just got kinda painful to play the characters I liked over time, because Blizzard decided to lash themselves to the whims of the traditional FPS playerbase instead of maintaining the relatively unique (at the time) thing they had going. Plus, you know, outside of the game Blizzard was being scum as usual.
