Bio:The first of the True Sith to be awakened, and the only to released accidentally, Dureth was previously a great warrior of the Sith during the cold war between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic, personally being involved in the destruction of the Advozse Hegemony after their loss of Hammer Station, Dureth was renown, even among the Sith, for decisive but brutal results, although lacking the needless bloodthirst that would harm efficiency. While not a member of the Dark Council, Dureth became one of the more influential Sith Lords on Dromund Kaas, building a support base among the officers of the Imperial Military, however, he overstepped himself, earning the ire of several greater lords, finding himself sent to Korriban as an instructor, a position he believed beneath his station. Nevertheless, he used such a post to build new support, this time among the apprentices he brought forward for the Empire, and in exploring the Sith heritage of the world. His discovery of the great stasis chamber occurred during this period, alongside a number of allies and dynastic connections, unwittingly sealing themselves within the 'tomb' for thousands of years.
Upon awakening, Dureth was the primary source of leadership among the Sith, having awoken the other remaining pureblood sith, completely ignoring the calls of the Imperial Expedition that stumbled across him to surrender. After slaying the Stormtroopers accompanying and protecting the largely human expedition, Dureth proclaimed his leadership of those who had trespassed on Korriban, and ownership of their fleet. As the Sith went about building a nation, through current technology and the recovery of their own artifacts, the other Sith were willing to allow Dureth to retain a central leadership role, until the time came to formally found the Collective. With dwindling support, her was unable to hold on dreams of being Emperor, instead, not fighting the formation of the Council, simply becoming a powerful member of it, with even grander plans.

Bio:
The military of the Esstran Collective is not the bulldozer that Sith Empires have been in the past, lacking the vast manpower and naval resources that previous Pureblood empires have possessed has required the Sith to rethink their ways of war. The relatively sparse inhabitants of the practically abandoned Sith worlds, and those planets which have been brought into the fold have provided troops to the Esstran military, equipped in the manner of the Revanites, rather than the Sith Empire which the Purebloods had known, the enlisted troops trained extensively, with most offered being declined as the military has fully accepted it's new purpose, currently para-military forces being used for simple garrisons.
Troops:
The Navy is another matter, the resources of the Sith Worlds still remaining strong, even if the population is wanting. The ships of the Sith fleet have decreased in size, favoring swift, hit and run but destructive strikes, with a number of capital ships providing further muscle to the Collective's military. The Navy is the true strength of the nation, using intimidation and crushing force to bring about the surrender of worlds.
History:During the Emperor's life time, he developed an obsession with Sith artifacts long before his formal training as a Sith began. This obsession reached new heights during hi reign as Chancellor and then Emperor, leading to a host of secret Imperial Expeditions to the Sith Worlds, most prominently the tomb world of Korriban. The last of these to report back, if only once, from the old homeworld of the Sith people, found far more than relics and ancient technology. Instead, the well equipped expedition encountered a stasis chamber, housing within it 9 surviving members of the Pureblood Sith, who had accidently survived the fall of the final true Sith Empire within the underground halls of Korriban.
The loyal clones of the Empire fell before the blades and sorcery of the Sith, but the human and alien members preferred survival over loyalty to a far off Emperor. From that date on wards, many expeditions were dispatched to the Sith Worlds, but none would return to Coruscant, each being secretly implemented into the growing power of Esstran, waiting and building for the moment when the true Sith could strike out against the Usurper who now ruled through power that was rightfully theirs. That eventuality never came to be, instead the Galactic Empire crumbling, the Sith took the moment to strike, their swift fleets and strike-force military crushing the surrounding worlds with the efficiency of Extraterrestrial blitzkrieg. While no efforts were made to contact the outside galaxy, eventually the news of the return of Pureblooded Sith, although often perceived to be a rumor, began to spread across nearby space and then the galaxy as whole.
Now convinced of their own security, the Council of the Sith began to contact its surrounding nations and planets, often as a precursor to the invasion of lesser powers, swept up by the uncompromising Darwinist foreign policy of the Sith. Other, more equal powers have either been treated with caution or courted, the Sith well aware that their position as a species is not one to be envied, even if they now control their own corner of the galaxy once more. As more realist thought takes hold over the Sith, the idea of galactic dominance has slipped from most of their minds, instead, prosperity and survival have become more important, much to the chagrin of the old school of thought.
