I know how it works; the issue is that (subtracting the 2 infamy from Beauty) this would be testing against 42. Even if the end acquisition modifier for the item is +10, that's still only a 50% chance of getting anything out of it. So, in the end, Wealth would just be a minor willpower penalty for no returns. XD

Though the system is simple; the only hard part is trying to remember the exact values. Rarity, quantity, craftsmanship. Rarer, better, and more is harder. Simple enough.

Not quite! From the Black Crusade errata's FAQ (you can google it yourself if neccesary):

Black Crusade's Errata said Question:
The Character background “Wealth” allows for an
additional acquisition roll at +20 during character creation.
However, there are no acquisition “rolls” made at creation; the
acquisition is automatic. Is this intended to be an extra creation
acquisition at +20, or is it supposed to be an actual roll?
Answer:
It is not a roll, it is an additional acquisition.

Certainly an intriguing idea, I will ask you to roll stats for this campaign specifically though for him when you get the chance.

I see you made some noteworthy alterations, I shall look over it more closely when I get a chance but I do not think I see any kind of a primary cargo hold of making off with acquired loot.

Think of it as adding 20 to your infamy.

Edit: After work tomorrow expect me to get up the starting setting. The current plan is an Imperial hive world which was nearing the throes of rebellion as several cults made large inroads into mid hive regions of most large hive cities. Zed's pirate prince was lured in by promises of wealth just in time for the Imperial response to show up. A veritable army of arbites and an actual army of Imperial Guard quickly made planetfall and the small escort fleet succeeded in chasing off Zed's vessel stranding him planetside.

The upper hives have now been secured in swift order and are pushing down into the mid-hive regions. Your characters will be given a choice, try to seize the world for your own or find a way to flee it before Imperial Guardsmen, Arbites, or even the rumored Inquisitors on planet kill you.

I do not see any issues Rainah, welcome fully aboard. Do you have any ideas for where your character will be starting out at with the start for the setting? I am giving people free reign largely with what they are doing on the world whether it be passing through, something nefarious such as horrific experiments or forming chaos cults, and if you want a simple openning people can work out a position on Zed's ship probably.

Rainah if you get a chance to make thing seasier to keep track of for me can you add the costs to your advances bought? I realize now that i forgot a section for people to keep track of their exp on the character sheet.

I believe that in the book you can be slightly taller than some astartes though I am not sure. Astartes kind of vary between 7-9 feet in height and humans can get over 8 I think.

I really wish i had the books because i just remembered a key thing about the planet and I am unsure if I am wanting you to use the right skill to check for it.

edit: If someone can list all the tech, lore, and history related skills I can make sure people are making the right skill check. Anyone interested in history or technology would be making this skillcheck prior to starting the campaign after character creation and depending on how many degrees of success can start with various levels of information or disinformation.

edit; edit: Now that i think about it, I will just have everyone make various skillchecks to know certain things since there is a lot of potential info to start with.

Rainah, if you are finished with character creation go ahead and make 3 skill checks. Common Lore (Tech), Common Lore (Mechanicus), and Forbidden Lore (Archeotech).

Ouch. This die roller is nowhere near as friendly as invisiblecastle was last time. Verdi's stats are still tolerable, I suppose. Do we get a reroll for whatever was lowest?

When i get off work I will check my book but if you succeeded as well as you say that is going to be huge and you will get to see a unique aspect of how I do knowledge oriented checks.

You can reroll one stat of your choice though if you do you must take the reroll.

I plan for everyone to do a check for knowledge about the planet and hive once I figure out the name of the check.

Crayt, since Q’Sal is in a completely seperate sector from us you can basically substitute that for knowledge of your home world which I can give you free reign almost to create a Tzeentchian world or ask about maybe some Tzeentchian worlds I planned or have made for this RP.

I'm just wondering about a Psyker starting talent, it says Up to 500xp worth of psychic powers chosen from Unaligned. Does that mean I start with +5 or +10 or what have you towards the talent choices/available talents from the Unaligned section?

Normally it's 0 degrees of success, +1 for every extra 10 you succeed by. Black Crusade starts you off at one degree of success. I think I've remembered that right, at least.
