She studied him once more, he was frozen while looking at him. How could it not be real? She looked at Leo with a confused look, why were dragons so strange to people here? She smiled up at him confidently. "He won't do anything, he's not the violent type. He's actually quite gentle." She said with a soft and reassuring voice. Leo lifted his head out of the pot and looked at the boy. Leo could easily see the boy's true form but made no notice of it, as a spirit dragon he could reveal one's inner self. She looked back at Leo watching him pick himself off of the ground. 'It wasn't much, but it will get me to the ground. Thank you mistress.' the deep voice rattled in her head in the most comforting way. She smiled, and watched him walk towards the edge and spread his gigantic wings, his head looking back. 'I should be back before tomorrow's sundown.' her eyes widened, taking a step towards him. "Leo, that's a long time!" But before she could stop him he plunged off the edge and in to the clouds.

She huffed at first watching him fly away. "Till tomorrow night?" She felt lonely at that instant, being left with strangers. She looked back at the boy, and felt bad for the small scene. "Sorry... Oh! He said thank you." She said, her voice trailing off at the end as she tucked the hairs behind her ear. She then sprung again. "Oh, I'm Calista!" She reached out her hand and took a step towards him, tripping over the pot. She stumbled a bit, but quickly fixed herself and put her hand back out, biting her lip in embarrassment. "I'm Calista." She said with a calm sigh.

Lily

A soft smile grew on her lips. "Like I said, it's a long story. One I'll tell when you feel a bit better. For now, just know that I'm here. Later, I'll want you to tell me all about what's happened to you while I was gone." She told him, suddenly feeling very tired and worn herself. "You sleep here. Farrow and I will go get you something to get." She told him and then motioned for Farrow to follow her. As she left the room, she turned to Matt. "Sleep. I'm not going anywhere." She said before walking out and going down the hall, headed for the cafeteria. It was all coming back to her, the lay of the school. She turned and looked at Farrow. "So, know how to cook?" She asked, chuckling a bit. She was allowed to tease the poor boy a bit wasn't she? After all, she was probably a few years his senior. And even if she wasn't, she sure felt like it. She felt more like 25 than 19.

They entered the cafeteria and Lily led Farrow into the kitchen. She looked down to see the stove still on. What idiot left the stove on? She shook her head and pulled out a pot, it was a bit small but would do well for their purposes. She grabbed a few supplies, mainly chicken stock, plain noodles and some spices and then looked back at Farrow. "Well? Do you?" She asked, her face completely serious but her insides churned as she tried her best not to laugh.

Ethan

He watched the small exchange with blank confused eyes. What? Gentle Dragon? Ethan wasn't exactly worried about the violent nature of Leo, it was just... Dragons weren't supposed to exist. Then again, Ethan was a Thunderbird, he should be surprised that other types of beings would be out there. He nodded quietly, not wanting to say anything and spook the creature. He watched as she spoke to the dragon as if it were talking back to her. Is... she okay? Apparently the dragon was leaving and wouldn't be back for awhile. He almost felt bad for her, being left behind like that. Alone with people you didn't know. Kind of like... himself.

She turned back to face him, apologizing but... what for? She told him Leo said Thank you as well. He didn't really even know what to say to that. He just made soup for... a dragon. He forced and awkward smile. "It was no problem..." He said, watching her as she tucked the hair behind her ear. She had beautiful white hair... He stepped back a little bit as he was forced from his thoughts. "Oh, I'm Calista!" She said, putting her hand out to him, walking closer. She stumbled on something and then before falling, quickly oriented herself before sticking her hand back out and repeating herself. He tried his best to suppress it but he couldn't and soon he was giggling, looking at her. When he finally was able to stop, he looked up at her, tears of laughter in his eyes. "You're so adorable!" He said as he chuckled. "I'm Ethan Perry. It's nice to meet you, Calista." He said, putting his hand out and taking hers.

She blinked as he began to giggle at her. Her cheeks soon grew bright red, which the dimming sky didn't help at all. She couldn't help but smile at his laugh, it was attractive and sweet. He finally took her hand and shook it, so his name was Ethan. Ethan. Ethan. She would remember that. She gripped his hand and shook it up and down before letting go. She looked back towards the clouds sheepishly before looking back, giving him an awkward smile. At least she had a new friend to be around while Leo was gone. She lifted one of her arms to cup the others elbow as the atmosphere grew awkward.

"So.. What should we do now?" She asked in a timid voice, not knowing if he was going to stick around or sneak off like some had already done to her. Her heart thumped as the sun caught his eyes, she had found her new 'human' weakness. Eyes. She smiled to herself but being oblivious that she was staring at Ethan now. After a few seconds she realized and quickly looked away, the hair that was neatly tucked was now in front of her face again. After so long she had dreamt of what this would feel like, to feel human like emotions, and to live on earth again. This was thrilling to her.

Farrow

Farrow stayed out of Lily and Matt's conversation, he just met them so he didn't want to ruin their 'touching reunion.' "Don't worry Matt, we'll cook you something, just rest." Farrow said, reassuringly, before immediately following Lily into the kitchen. "Don't worry, I know how to cook, my 'mother' taught me everything she knew about living alone." He stared at the ingredients, "It looks like you could make a simple chicken noodle soup with this stuff, it's so easy a child could do it." He might've been part deer, but that certainly didn't mean he was strict vegetarian. "I'm assuming you don't know how to cook?"

He blinked at her question, noticing her red cheeks. Was she okay? He shook the thought away and thought for a moment. What should they do? They could go into the forest but... what lurked in that forest? He wasn't sure he could protect her if anything happened. Or himself. They could explore the school building... that seemed the safest bet. "Why don't we explore the school building together? I'm sure there are some interesting rooms in there." He asked, his thoughts wandering again. What kind of rooms did they have? Did... they have a game room? Or a gym? They had to have a gym... "There has to be something interesting to see." He told her, looking at her eyes.

He hadn't really seen them before now. They were a deep mysterious shade of purple. He couldn't help but look at them. Well, look at what he could of them. Her hair was hiding most of her face now. Deciding not to be a creeper and stare at her, he looked up at the sky. It was turning a shade of purple similar to her eyes. He blinked. Why did... He shook his head. This girl was... enchanting. He felt his cheeks growing hot. No... Stop thinking about it. He walked forward a bit towards the school and with a soft smile, he asked, "Coming?"

Lily

She blinked, not quite expecting him to know how to cook. "Well, no. I know how to cook. I've been living with several men for a while now, cooking for them. You kind of have to get it right." She told him. It sounded a bit weirder than she'd meant it to but she couldn't exactly take it back now. She handed him the supplies and then stood off to the side. "But, go ahead. I'll just... watch." She told him, feeling foolish once again.

She walked over to the sink and turned on the water. She leaned over the counter and put her hands under the warm water, watching it run over her hands. Even if she tried, she couldn't feel the magic anymore. The water wouldn't move as she wanted. Her eyes softened into a watery sadness. This was going to be a long night. She closed her eyes and then turned off the water once more. "Sorry, I'm going to go wait outside." She told Farrow and then walked out, heading for the hallway. She stopped and leaned against a wall. Sliding down, she sat on the floor, her head in her knees and her eyes closed. When would this nightmare end?

Sasha

Sasha was initially put off by the fact that Djhango and Fredricka apparently overlooked her sadness, but quickly was thankful that they wanted to keep the mood happy. She had seen the way their eyes changed when they heard her sad voice and knew that they were concerned. She sensed both confusion and compassion (in that order) from both of them, but she hoped her episode would be forgotten completely...but not by her, of course. She followed the two of them towards the forest, remaining completely silent. Soon they stopped and Djhango asked how big the forest was. Fredricka didn't know, but what happened next took Sasha completely by surprise. Fredricka turned to a passing bird and asked it how big the forest was. To Sasha's amazement the bird answered and Fredricka translated. Sasha had, of course, seen far more amazing things as an Olympian, but Fredricka's act of communicating with the bird brought back a flood of idyllic memories (a quite rare occurrence) from Sasha's childhood, where she was taught to talk to all the animals and particularly birds. When Fredricka talked to the bird and communicated what it had said, Sasha's sadness was replaced with a glowing happiness that enveloped her whole being, so much so that she had a faint aura around her. "That was...beautiful," she said. She analyzed her thoughts and actions and this point wondered if they would be put off by her typical roller coaster of emotions. She would certainly understand if they were, but hoped they weren't. She sensed only kindness in Djhango and Fredricka had been a ray of light in Sasha's life for the few minutes she had known her. She wondered if the rest of the student body was this kind.

Fredricka asked if they would like to go any farther into the forest. "I'm willing if you are," Sasha responded happily.

"What?" He tilted his head, confused, that will explain why she chuckled before asking him if he could cook... "You thought I didn't know how to cook? I don't look like a chef, but that doesn't mean I don't have the skills of one. But anyways, I'll get to work." Getting to work, preparing the ingredients, boiling the water, everything that needed to be done to prepare a good meal for Matt. He placed a chefs hat on his head, which fit nicely, just between his antlers.

"I'll just be in here, if you need me... I'm glad I can be of help, Miss Lily~" The boy was polite to a fault... Speaking politely, helping out Matt and Lily even after just meeting them, and even putting effort into making a meal for the boy who just got over passing out. He certainly will be helpful in the future, not just to Lily, but to the rest of Kalmaysia Academy. To those observing him cook, he appeared to be using magic to help him cook, mostly some minor fire spells to help heat the water up quicker.

When she once again fixed herself, she nodded to his comment. That would be fun, she wondered if they had a music room, or a garden? Ohhh a garden?! She pranced slightly but collected herself and followed next to him looking around of their surroundings. This was nice, to meet someone new and to see new places. She followed close to him, sometimes bumping in to his shoulder when she wasn't paying attention. She then looked at him for a moment, she wondered what he was? But the question scared her to ask, she was scared enough that Toby quickly figured out luckily she got out from that situation.

They made it to the doors and walked in to the lobby. Looking all the directions she pointed down a long hall way which seemed to have the most rooms. She looked up to him and tugged on his shirt. "Let's go that way." She grabbed his wrist and pulled him towards the door ways. Once they got to the first door, she placed her hands and face against the window to the room inside and looked around. She squinted. "I can't see anything." She whimpered as she looked around, but the room was dark.

They walked silently into the school building. Every now and then he'd feel her bump into his shoulder and he'd blush. What was it about this girl that made him feel this way? He shook his head again. He had more important things to focus on, like figuring out his black outs and how to stop them. He'd finally calmed himself down when she tugged on his shirt and pointed towards a hallway. His face grew red hot once again as she pulled him down the hallway by his wrist. She stopped by the first door they came across and pressed her nose to the glass, trying to peak inside. A smile grew on his lips, looking at her. He felt the intense desire to protect her. Something he'd never felt for anyone else. Then again, he'd never really gotten close to anyone. Then again, she wasn't exactly like the people he'd seen before.

He eyed the room carefully. The lights were out, and there wasn't anything identifying the room. "I think it may just be a normal class room, Calista. That, or a supply room." He said, a small chuckle escaping his lips. the first room she'd come across was a supply room. Then again, he could be wrong. He walked up behind her and pulled on the door handle. The door opened slowly. He turned to look at her and say something but suddenly her face was way too close to his. He jumped back, nervous. "Uhm... Y-You can go first." He stammered, feeling much a like a little school boy.

Fredricka

She turned to face Sasha, who had finally spoken. "Beautiful?" She asked, looking over at the bird. She never considered it... beautiful. They were her friends. Then again, maybe talking to animals wasn't exactly normal for them. Back when she was human, it would have weird-ed her out more than likely. Yet, this girl thought it was beautiful. She smiled softly at Sasha. "Well, thank you either way. It... it actually kind of freaked me out the first time I did it. But now, I do it so often that it's lost it's... I don't want to say value... It just doesn't surprise me anymore. Talking to them is much like talking to you now." She explained, looking at Sasha still.

When Sasha replied to her question, her smile grew larger. "I'm always willing. The forests are my home. Where are you from, if I can ask? I'm from the forests of Ireland." She asked, walking a bit deeper into the forest. Several animals, mainly squirrels began following the group, one of them followed behind Sasha very closely. Fredricka grinned. That little rascal. Always the first even if they weren't his species.

The forest from his own eyes appeared to be pretty large and peaceful to the eyes, and despite his question, he more than likely could have found out himself if he climbed to the largest tree and flew from there as the being he really was. However, he didn't feel comfortable to "change" infront of anyone. He wouldn't look like a completely different being(at least in his head), but to other eyes, the change would more than likely be drastic to them. His current company of Sasha and Fredricka was pleasant and calm; which he kept telling himself, but just as his own appearance could change quickly, so could their thoughts.

Wait, did Fredricka just say she wasn't born the way she was? As a half-fox? What in the world could have possibly happened to her? She giggled, but Djhango couldn't understand why one would laugh about something like that...

"Why don't I just ask?" She said when a small blue bird flew to her. Ask who? She didn't mean the bird? A quizzical expression came upon Djhango's face as he watched her speak to the creature. And apparently the bird answered the question. He felt a bit of distrust, if only for his own reasons as he crossed his arms in front of him. Not of the bird, but of Fredricka. Even though it WAS after all a school of all sorts of creatures, and a talent like that shouldn't be so surprising here, he could never exactly know for sure if someone was just pulling his leg. It was his own short-comings that made him skeptical of others, so it wasn't there fault. After all, if he wanted to, he could find out how vast the forest was himself...

Sasha believed her, and he saw no reason as to what anyone would gain from it. Even though his arms were still crossed. He smiled. Probably was time for him to loosen up a bit more. "I agree with Sasha, so long as your willing. It would be nice to explore here for a bit."

He listened to the two talk for a bit, all the while looking around the forest. Nature certainly was quite different than a concrete jungle. He looked up to the trees, feeling a slight urge to perch on a branch like a bird and watch the surroundings. Although turning to look behind him, he saw a number of small animals trailing behind. Especially one squirrel who was staying rather close to Sasha. "Looks like someone has a little "friend". Djhango said with a smirk.

Her eyes widened as he explained what the room could be. "Ohh." She said in a daze, as he leaned in and looked over her shoulder. They both turned at the same time, his face so close she could feel the heat off him. Both of them jumped and turned away quickly. He opened the door as she tucked her hair behind her ear nervously and walked in to the room quickly without saying anything else. It was awkward, but it was.. intriguing. She bit her lip and giggled turning on the light to the room. It was a class room, just a normal class room. She walked over to the shelves and looked at the books. "Hiiissstttooorrryyyy" She pronounced the word long and worn out as she tried to figure out how to pronounce the word. She had seen the english language, but the only language she had ever written in was her own. "History! It says history!" She turned with bright eyes, but soon she covered her mouth with her hands.

She got too excited over learning a single word, she had always wanted to learn how to read. She had watched person's read stories that effected them in different ways. She wanted to experience it herself, maybe read 'How to Kill a Mockingbird' she had seen that title so many times. She got lost thinking about reading, her eyes glazed over with a content smile as she thought about all the wonderful things that were still on this world. She sat herself on the small podium in the room, looking at Ethan. "May I ask, what is your favorite thing about this world?" Well great she had just made it obvious she wasn't from there but she hoped he wouldn't catch the hint.

He watched her with curious eyes as she went into the room, looking at everything. She zeroed in on the book shelf and read one of the words. She looked extremely excited too. He chuckled, a small smile growing on his face. He walked into the room behind her and looked outside the window. The world was now mostly dark and he could feel his eyes getting heavy. "My... favorite thing about this world?" He said, yawning. "I guess... the people in it? Even if they are mean or cruel, there's some thing about people that I just... love. They're so unique and original, each of them. Like snowflakes..." He said, still looking outside.

"I'm sorry Calista, but I need to go back to my room. I can barely keep my eyes open. It was a bit... tiring getting up here, I think." He told her, heading for the door. He felt bad for leaving her but he didn't want to fall asleep on her either. He smiled at her at the door. "Tomorrow, if you want to... you can meet me at the garden. I'll be there, waiting. I need a day to just relax anyway." He told her and then was on his way, heading for his room.

"Nature is full of beauty, as I'm sure you know," replied Sasha to Fredricka. "I just found that...beautiful. It brought back fond memories - something that doesn't happen too often," she said with a small smile. Fredricka continued, saying that the Irish forests were her home. It made sense. Then she asked Sasha where she was from and Sasha hesitated. Perhaps it would be better not to let them know my precise origin just yet, she thought to herself. After all, I'm fairly certain Djhango is not just a tall burly man - he has a mythical quality about him - and he's kept quiet. "I'm from Greece," she responded. "The northern mountains, specifically." She felt that was sufficient information. Of course, Sasha was an open book - if asked the right questions she would tell you anything - but those right questions hadn't been asked yet. "How is Ireland?" she asked, slightly changing the subject. "I've never been there."

As the two talked, Sasha noticed a squirrel following her closely. Djhango spoke up as he pointed out the squirrel. Sasha smiled. "I'm not sure if that's me or Fredricka causing it...if animals have an affinity for me, I'm not aware of it. Those other squirrels seem perfectly content following farther away, you know."

She was ethused by his answer. She jumped up as if she couldn't agree more. That was something wonderful to her, she loved that about her person's. They were all different, like... Snowflakes. She wanted to know what snowflakes were. She smiled ready to explore the world with him but her excitement grew short as he told her he was too tired. She stood there slightly emtpy. Now he was leaving, her face felt soft as he said he would meet her in the garden tomorrow.

She was sad, but she smiled. She was a shinigami.. She didn't need sleep, but she pretended to yawn. "Yeah.. Me too!" She said without being too enthusiastic. She wanted to follow him, but something about being in the same bed as another person was.. intimate? Is she using the right word? She nodded and agreed to meet him and watched him leave the room. She watched the door for a while not knowing where to go or what to do. She frowned, Leo... She finally took a deep breath and made her way out of the room looking down the hallways. She began to wander.

Toby

This always happened to Toby in Kamaysia. Although he had been here before and learnt most of its layout now he was lost. He wandered through the corridors after finding himself asleep in the kitchen with an apple placed precariously on his head. He grumbled as he marched through the corridors trying to find his dorm and wiping the sleep out of his eyes.

He stopped grumbling after he reached a corridor where the bustle of people socialising was huge and he suddenly went quiet. He barged through a huge crowd of people, terrified and enforce nervous until he tripped and he disappeared in a puff of green flames. Suddenly he felt his whole body get flung through a dimensional portal he could control and then he reappeared the safest place he could find. Near people he knew.

He looked around to figure out where he was, a huge terrified look on his face. He turned to see Callista from before and took a sigh of relief. Then he remembered what she was, and that it wasn't a nightmare... He shook his head of that thought and approached the two with a nervous smile. "Uh hey Callista, and um I don't think we've met.....hi I'm Toby." He shakily held out his hand to the boy terrified that the boy was Callista's little puppet.

(near the entrance of the academy)

I had been walking for what seemed like days now to find this place, and now that I had finally found it all I could say was, damn this place was hard to find! I mean seriously, I have traveled plenty of forests and have been able to find most anything with ease, but this... this! Gah! I was about to give up until I finally came across the sign that led me here, and the next thing I knew I was transported sky high to realize I had been traveling under it the whole time! I grumbled and growled as I entered the gates of the academy, but the growling subsided as I saw just how amazing it really looked, much different from the forests that I called my home, so many buildings! More than I have ever seen in one place before. I felt myself get more excited as I walked into what seemed like the main building, my tail wagging with excitement... then I realized my tail was out so I quickly brought it back rather sheepishly, hoping no one saw.

I wasnt sure what others thought of my kind yet, so I decided I would keep it under wraps until I saw what this place had to offer. I already knew the humans hated me, so hopefully other creatures would come to accept me. I looked around hoping the find someone to help me find my way around this huge place.

"Right... I don't even know what I'm talking about." Himura gave his own thoughts a shrug before continuing to casually walk by the hallway. "You're new. So that must mean that you don't have an idea of the bearings around the academy." He stated so carelessly, oblivious to the brand new changes that would probably throw Himura off of his feet as well. "If you want to follow me around, then maybe I'll point out some things in the academy that you may be interested in. Although I also would suggest finding things out on your own, that way it's more fun."

He continued on, hoping on equal measures for Ashley to join him or leave him to his own amusement. He didn't have any places to visit. Or at least, he hadn't remembered one yet. He snuck his eye to the window beside him, hoping for the sun's bright light to reach for him. The large overcast shadow stopped it from coming into his sight, causing a slight frown to form around his dry lips. Water would be good. Then maybe, the kitchen would be a good place to go at this moment. His distance between Ashley was slowly rising.

Matt - Nurse's office

As the other two left, Matt sighed. He wasn't tired at all. He got out of the bed and began pacing the floor, deep in thought. They probably thought that he had fainted from normal means. Sure, Matt fell unconscious more than your average human, but why? Was he just a weak person and the Phoenix powers kept him from getting hurt as much? No, that wasn't it. Each time he did stuff like this, he remembered, but as soon as he awoke, he forgot all about it, like a dream.

She looked up to the familiar voice with a earm smile. Her eeyebrows scrunched as he introduced himself again. She didn't really know how to reply to this, she had never had someone introduce theirself twice, was this a new form of greeting? That would be quite interesting. It took her a few moments to process on how to reply.
"Uhm." She searched the ground as she tucked her hair behind her ear. "I.. I thought we met yesterday?" She said with a undesicive stance, her voice was small. Sje didn't know if she should be upset that he didn't remember her or feel bad that maybe he couldn't but... he remembered her name?. She huffed mentally. She should have prepared herself before she jumped in to civilization. She stood tall again with an awkward smile. "Well, I'm Calista. It's nice to meet you again Toby." She put out her hand once more her smile growing warmer.
