The confrontation outside was getting out of hand. Or at least, it appeared that way since these people still weren't in class yet. But what could he do? Go outside and help them? Tanaka thought of all the possible pros and cons of doing so. On one hand, he'd no doubt swarm the bully with his presence. After all, three against one was best, and Daichi wasn't the brightest. But that would entail interacting with them, and again, three and one made four, meaning a total of four people to deal with. Tanaka gulped. To him, that was a crowd enough.

"Damnit. Why do I get stuck with all these choices? Shouldn't they belong to the main hero of some manga or anime or something? But if I help out, I'll be considered a hero. . .then, they'll ask me what I want as a reward. . .then I can ask for a month of peace and quiet! Maybe even solitary confinement! That's perfect! It's genius!"

Standing from his desk, he raised a fist in the air and grasped some invisible object in an epic pose.

"Right," he said to no one in particular. "I'll sacrifice my dignity and my health to go help save some first year I don't even know!"

With that, Tanaka leaped from his seat, ran to the front of the still empty room, opened the door, and prepared to make a dashing appearance in the nick of time. Of course, this was hilarious in hindsight considering that he had just literally ran by Minho Sooma without even noticing he was there. He was much too caught up in his own dreams of glorification.

Then the bell rung.

Tanaka deflated as that bell, that goddamn devil's screech signaled the call for everyone to return to class. He didn't even take two steps forward. Then he noticed Student President Kazuhiko and Yumiko Ninomiya standing right outside. He face palmed. He couldn't help it. How long were they standing there exactly?

"Er, morning President Kazuhiko, Ninomiya-san."

A loud bang was heard, and Tanaka raised an eyebrow to see where the noise came from. Then he shook his head to see the usual suspect. Shana Kiotori. Sighing, he went over to her and helped her pick her books up.

"You alright Kiotori-san?"

He was just dying on the inside. This was way too much excitement for him for one day.

The bell rang, and Sakaki finally allowed her eyes to shift away from the boy's. She spun around, her hair swirling behind her like a fan, and walked purposefully back into the school building. Walking through the hallways, she heard faint laughter, which gradually grew louder until she turned a corner and observed a decent-sized crowd of people surrounding a girl who sat on the ground, feverishly grasping for papers and books, some of which people in the crowd snatched away. She walked into sight range, and just like that...silence. A few, who she presumed to be first years, continued with their stupidity, but those who knew her, or even knew of her, instantly quieted and looked at her carefully. As she walked up, the first years awkwardly noticed the silence and air of general tension, and their eyes swiveled to face her as well. With the new, total silence, her shoes making a loud tap with every step. She stopped near the girl and looked down at her.

"Do you need help?"

A soft murmur spread through the crowds. Most of them had never seen her talk, bar answering in class, and very, very few had ever heard her ask somebody if they wanted help.

Maverick's smile dropped after the girl ran off to the nurse. He was now stuck in an awkward situation with people he did not desire to be around. "I am going to class now." He said to nobody in particular and wandered into the building he slowly made his way to his homeroom class and managed to step into the room just as the bell rang. He smiled proudly to himself and sat in the back corner of the class. The back was the best spot to sit and in the corner he was less noticeable which ment if he wanted he could take a nap, which he usually did. His grades were always high so teachers didn't care that much, plus they didn't want to risk "waking the beast" as some of the other student would call it. There was always a possibility that if woken from one of his naps before a certain time, he would wake up an instantly be violent. It had happened only once his first year and it had taken multiple doctors to convince the school he didn't have control over his actions so that he wasn't expelled. He looked at the other students in his class, he knew most of them one way or another so he was pretty sure he wasn't going to have problems in homeroom, which was good, the less problems the easier his day was.

Shana looked up at the people speaking to her, tears welling up in her eyes. Usually she would decline the offers and power through it herself, but now she was grateful for any kind words.

"Y-yes...I would like som-me help...please..." She replied softly from the floor. As Tanaka and Sakaki bent down to help her, her papers and books were quickly retrieved and returned to their place in her bag. The crowd of people started to thin and soon dissipated completely, leaving only the three of them plus a few people in the background. Once again smoothing her uniform out, she muttered a timid "Thank you." She quickly turned and made her way into the classroom.

(Btw I apologize for any problems I made.)

The bell rang. Axyl took a deep breath and broke eye contact with the bully, who was now stunned upon being punched quite hard by the girl. He walked past him and kept his serious aura before going back into the school.

He saw the dark haired girl bent over saying something to a girl who had just dropped her books. A crowd had gathered and and there were whispers among them. The poor girl must have been in tears from embarrassment, being on the butt end of the situation.

"Don't you people have class!? Go, before me and the dark haired girl start punching people, and you know we will!" there was a few chuckle from the comedy relief of the situation and then the crowd dispersed, Axyl didn't confront either of the girls but simply walked off and let them deal with their own situation. No need in making anymore of a scene toward the poor girl.

Seeing the scary looking dark haired girl, who Tanaka assumed was a third year, take control of the situation made Tanaka tense a little. Not because she was threatening or anything. . .but because she was there! Yes, there! Right there! It didn't help when fellow second year Axyl came on to the scene as well. Tanaka nearly had a heart attack. More people! But apparently it was all worth it when the group of students began to disperse and head back to their own classrooms.

Hearing Shana's low thanks of gratitude, Tanaka sighed as he shook his head to cleanse his thoughts. "Don't mention it," he muttered. Entering the classroom again-thankful of President Kazuhiko's side stepping from the door-he walked over to Minho. Finally, someone in this school that was reasonable to deal with. Like himself, Minho didn't stick around the huge crowds and chose to spend his time in quiet areas to ponder to his own thoughts.

"Yep. A fellow introvert."

"Hey Sooma," he greeted. "Er, sorry about blowing you off and all. I had to. . .deal with something." He'd never admit that he actually considered getting involved with other people's issues. No, no, no. "So, uh, how was your summer? Any good books you read?"

On that note. . .where the hell was the teacher? Class started minutes ago.

Naoki craned his head over at Tanaka's direction upon the sound of his classmate's voice greeting him and his companion of sorts. He did a curt wave to his introverted classmate. "Good morning to you as well, Sorata-kun~!" he greeted cheerfully with a smile. While normally his wide-eyed, smiley expression would be considered fairly normal, but the bags under his eyes made for a rather dissonant effect. Though, it wasn't something you couldn't get used to with exposure.

"Hello Kiotori-san and Kimura-senpai!" Naoki greeted once more with another wave, "I see that you are in a predicament! Do you require another set of hands in addition to Sorata-kun and Kimura-senpai's?" The two with her managed to clear out the debris in a rather speedy amount of time either way, so it seemed that the answer was 'no'. Fine by him, he supposed. Naoki side-stepped in order to clear the entrance back into the classroom. T'was the least he could do for the gal who seemed to be having a bad start of the day. And also for Sorata who seemed a bit on edge this morning.

Come to think of it, he himself should be heading back into class. It wasn't as if he could pull the 'Important Student Council Business (tm)' card on the first day of school in order to camp out in the Council office so he could catch up on manga under false pretenses. He turned back to Yumiko and said, "Well we should all be heading back to class, no? After you." He'd been impolitely barring entrance already, so why not be a courteous person and allow the lady to go first.

Sakaki nodded once at the girl and made her way back to her classroom, ignoring the surprised looks of her teacher and classmates.. Sakaki was NEVER late. She hadn't been since a quarter of the way through first year, when she had gotten up late and her mother had decided a little "discipline" had been in order. Sitting down quietly at her corner desk, she picked up her bag to remove the relevant textbook and notebooks, not noticing as a little sheet of lined notepaper fluttered to the ground, a gust of wind from the window carrying it out the door just before the teacher slammed it shut. Upon it was drawn a single sketch. The teacher began her daily drone again, just as she had the year before, and Sakaki slumped down on her desk, deep in thought. She was startled out of this state as she heard the boy that sat next to her, Hideyoshi Yukio, whispered over, "Hey, Kimura! What was that in the hallway?"

Of course, she thought. Make one gesture of sympathy and people hassle you about it for the rest of your life. Turning her head so she was looking at him, she stared at him levelly, before whispering back, "She needed help. I gave it."

Turning her head downwards, she expected the conversation to end.

Alexi woke up from her slumber. Scratching her head, she looked at the clock. "Great late again..." She stated, sliding off her bed. Alexi quickly brushed her hair and teeth and got dressed. Alexi then slid on her shoes and she darted out the door. She lived only ten minutes away from school, so she could walk there easily. Alexi then pushed through the school doors and she walked quietly to her locker, knowing that everyone watches her as if she was a threat to others.

Haru wheezed as he finally slouched through the school gates, quite late. The bus wasn't running, so he'd had to walk, and being kinda...not very strong, he was out of breath and exhausted from the short walk.

"Huff...huff...I...huff..really need to...huff...get a little bit more...huff...fit..."

He half-slouched, half-crawled to the classroom and dragged himself into my seat, still panting heavily. As he crumpled into his seat, he inhaled and exhaled a huge sigh, glancing to his side. Seeing a girl with short brown hair sitting next to him, he smiled weakly before looking up, straight into the irritated eyes of the teacher.

Oh boy, here we go.

After a thorough chewing out, he yanked the heavy mathematics textbook out of his bookbag, grunting at the effort. He began to listen to the teacher's lecture, idly spinning a pencil on his fingers at high speed.

After finally returning to class from the nurse's office, the first years in Hotaru's homeroom stared and whispered. The teacher asked them to quiet down as she took a seat in the farthest corner by the window. She giggled to herself, thinking of herself as one of those anime characters who have this same cliche spot in class. A little while later, a boy walked in and took a seat next to her. Unfortunately for him, he didn't have an excuse of being this late. After he was yelled at, he took out a math textbook.

Huh...? Hotaru noticed everyone had their math textbooks out. Eh? We're doing work on the first day? She frantically searched through her items but realized she hadn't brought any supplies, nevertheless her math textbook. Quietly turning to the boy next to her, Hotaru tapped him on the shoulder. "A-ah, if you don't mind, could we share your book?" She asked politely with a smile, hoping the answer was a yes.

Alexi made it to her class, she was only a few minutes late so hopefully the teacher would cut her slack. As she opened the door, Alexi immediately looked for a seat in the back of the class. Her eyes met a desk that was in the back corner right beside Sakaki. The teacher paid no mind to Alexi, which she was used to receiving, so she quietly took the seat next to Sakaki and she took out a notebook and began taking notes. She then began doodling, but her doodles weren't just mere stick figures. She drew a very detailed picture of a raven on a limb of a tree.

Axyl sat in class, he made sure to get there early so he could have a window seat. He loved to look out the window and daydream to pass time. There comes a point in school when it is simply repetitive lectures and cramming the night before a test. No need to pay attention. Axyl was to that point in his scholastic career and looked foreword to graduating.

The lecture started and so did the day dreaming. He thought of what would've happened if that bully had turned on him earlier, and the girl...the brave girl who punched him. One eyebrow raised as he thought "What was her name?" but it never came to him...because he didn't know. He eventually concluded that it didn't matter and that he would eventually see her again and make it a point to ask. Make it a point to ask. Make it...a....

*RINGGGGGGGGGG* Axyl woke up to the sound of class-change. First class...asleep? He called that a success.

(Kinda gonna poof Snow in)

Snow leaned back in his seat with a lazy sigh. "Come on" he groaned, anxious to leave already. He had a tooth pick in his mouth. He then heard the bell ring and he stood up, slinging his bag over his shoulder. His hair was messy, but he could care less. He brushed his hair back with his hand and he walked out the door without a word. Snow then went to his locker and leaned against it to waste time.

Haru smiled wanly at the girl. "Nah, just have it for the period. I don't really need it, I can go off my notes for this class."

He unobtrusively slide her his book, opening his binder and stacking together a sheaf of note paper, casually flipping through them as the teacher lectured the class about dividing trinomials. Looking back to his left, he studied the girl's face. Nothing too remarkable, altogether pretty typical. Breaking off of his studying, he yawned mightily, grumbling faintly about getting more sleep. Then suddenly, out of nowhere...

Ding ding ding ding...Ding ding ding ding

Second period. Haru heaved a sigh. "Finally..." He stood up and turned, leaning himself onto the girl's desk.

"So, what's your name?"

Alexi walked quietly down the hall, she kept her hair in her face to avoid eye contact with another person. Alexi then sat against the wall in a dimly lit area of the corridor. She pulled out a cup of pudding from her bag and she began eating it since she had nothing to eat this morning.

Snow seen Alexi lurk passed him. Freaky chick... he thought to himself, he then made his way to second period. As he entered the class room he tossed his bag to a desk and sat in it.

After finishing her pudding. Alexi stood up quietly and she continued her lonesome walk to second period.

Daichi rolled into second period. He nodded at the teacher as if to say 'I'm late so what?' In fact that's what he did say. About five minuets later he was taken to the principals office. "Daichi Hizuki. This is your 14th time going to the principals office." Daichi smiled proudly. "This is no smiling matter mr Hizuki! You beat up a first year on there first day. Detention after school. You are dismissed mr Hizuki." He casually walk back to his class and stat down.

Alexi walked into her second period class and she sat alone in the back as in any other class. She continued to draw in her notebook, she was intending to finish her drawing from first period. Alexi began shading the raven and she added more detail to it's feathers.

Snow leaned back in his seat and dozed off. School was a drag to him, simply for the fact that his classes consist of, what seems like endless, lectures.

So far everything worked like it was planned, the last thing Yumiko had to do was enter the school and be in class in time. It would have worked out perfectly, if she wouldnt have been stoped by Naoki. As Naoki asked where she was, Yumiko didnt't respond at first "Damnit so close, no I can't give up!" She thought. Yumiko took a deep breath before she said with a faked smile "Maybe you have overseen me.".

Several other students already passed them, after a few moments Naoki let her pass and take the lead as they were late already. "Eh- thank you!" Yumiko said before she sprinted to class and before the teacher could say her name she kicked the door open and slid in the classroom, just in time. She moved over to her seat and took out the textbook to take some notes. Later the bell finally rang, second period, now she could take out and read one of her mangas.

(Sry it took so long, different time zone :s)
