Well the game master is your character in a real life setting. Some 18-22 year old college student who should probably be studying or riding a bike instead of being cooped up in a room with strangers and power gmaers for a weekend.

The "hero fo the game world" is the video game character your player has assumed when transported into this world. For example.

My Game master. Is named Alex. He's a twenty year old male. No different from any other twenty year in the in the real world today.

my "Hero of the game world" is link from legend of Zelda series. because when he is transported into 'video game land' that is his assumed identity because it is his favourite video game character and the one he identifies most with.

Oh, and one more thing. This is actually vital to my character. In Dark Souls, if you die, you become an Undead. If you revover Humanity (type of Soul), than you become Human again. I have 2 Humanities, what if when I become Undead and I die, I'm actually dead? I know this means I technically have 5 lives, and I can understand why you wouldn't want me to be allowed to do this, but you have to let me know. Anyone can answer this

Do I have a Heart counter? If so, how many hearts Can I start with and am I able to gather 'pieces of heart' throughout the campaign?

Hero of the Game World is an actual video game character. Like, I'm playing my fighting game character, Jihyo, and Samus from Metroid.
