Well, I think ASTA is currently unable to post, but has explained the situation he's in at the moment, so I'm not going to boot him.
Aristo, you need to make a post, or the boot of doom is coming for you. I'll give you until tomorrow, and then I'm going to get my ban-scythe out and see who hasn't posted for a week.

I understand if people are busy, let me know if that's the case though and I'll give people a bit more time.

Well, as I said - I think with the RL problems he's having, we might not see him for a while, so I'd rather we kept things moving. I don't want the game to die through lack of posts again, especially if we're waiting for someone we know is having issues posting currently.

I'll get a post up in reply tomorrow evening. I'm not going away for once this weekend either, so I'll keep things moving fast and furious, because I'd like to pick the pace up a little again, and get us past the first mission, and onto the revelations leading us down the garden path toward the main plot.

I'd honestly like this iteration of GEARs to actually get beyond the first mission, and into the succeeding ones, with an aim towards actually getting onto the real 'meat' of the story. It almost got there with the very first version, but that died for various reasons. I hope this one can actually get somewhere.

Alright, I've caught up.

It seems Myrina and Arcade have run into a rather hairy situation.

Aristo, is it alright if Arcade uses Myrina's GEAR's optical equipment to acquire quality targeting data? Unless the mission doesn't allow it, Arcade's machine would perform better at medium to long distances, so I'm thinking that Myrina probably advanced far further into the canyon than he did.

Probably would have been better had Arcade swapped out the Aeon-II for a standard autocannon or rocket launcher. That way, he could fire guided munitions.

My next post may be a while in coming, as I've damaged a tendon in my right hand. I am left-handed, which makes it a bit easier, but it's still painful, and I was advised to rest it as much as possible. So, I'll try and get something up, but I don't want to push it and end up making my hand worse.
