Personality: Roxanne isn't the depressed, reserved girl she was in high school. The students who haven't interacted with Roxanne since high school would be wondering
"Is this the same person?". Sure, she's barely changed appearance-wise despite gaining a tan over time but her personality has changed drastically.
In the past years since high school Roxanne has come out of her shell to a point she can't at all be classed as an introvert. She's rather cheery and approachable. She chatty and is often destroying awkward silences even if in an awkward way itself. She's very loyal making her a key alibi if you need one and isn't going to throw anyone she loves under the bus. She's very protective of her love ones and will cut a bitch if they do anything to hurt those she holds dear. Despite her cheery and easy-going nature she knows when to put on her 'grown-up pants'. Between her students and her sons she's had a lot of practice of turning strict if necessary and can seem to go from an easy-going personality to a tough façade in seconds.
Roxanne plays her cards close to her chest. She's great at keeping secrets but, all the same, she has many of her own she's not at all willing to share. She finds it very hard to trust others and sometimes won't trust someone until far after the other person is convinced she does so. When she trusts you it's almost impossible to lose that trust but if you, somehow, screw up majorly and lose that trust it's almost impossible to get back. She can be argumentative and always has to have the last word and win the argument. She's rather opinionated and she will make that opinion known if she sees it necessary. If you have another opinion she will be stubborn and can become uncooperative.

Thoughts On The Murder: Simone was a bitch. Roxanne couldn't claim a moment in high school she liked her. In saying that however, Roxanne didn't like many people during her high school years. Her hatred for, well, almost everyone in general, including Simone, wasn't expressed in arguments or violence but she kept more to herself, giving nothing but the silent treatment and the occasional glare to those who weren't her friends. Because of this her and Simone never got into any fights, yet, she could be just as much of a suspect as anyone. Simone would pick on Roxanne occasionally but even more often Simone would pick on her friends.
Roxanne almost felt relieved at the young woman's death. Cruel? Sure but the world was safer for it. Either way, she was just as shocked as the rest of the student body. Everyone hated Simone, true, but who would have had the guts to kill her really? And if so, dropping her from the ceiling? A bit extreme.
Not long after Roxanne finished college she moved to Syracuse in New York, it's size proving it would make finding a job easier. On their first night in Syracuse Brad insisted they take a break from unpacking boxes and take a walk whiçh turned into him taking her into a formal restaurant where he soon proposed to her. Roxanne accepted and the pair got married on Brad's 27th birthday.
History During H.S.: Roxanne was born the second child of four to Engineer Michael Saunders and his wife, nurse Lily Saunders (nee Browning) in the centre of England's city of Birmingham. Even now Roxanne has still got hints of Brit in her accent. Growing up her life was quite unoriginal and normal. She had a nice little group of friends she's spend her weekends hanging out around trown or listening to music or something of the likes. She was rather happy with her life actually, until one day when she was 11 her parent decided to move to America to accept an extremely well paying job offer.
The family of five moved the town of Grimm in Indiana. The move itself was a blow to Roxanne's face. America was
much different to rainy England. Everything was different. It was warmer, Roxanne knew no one, the streets weren't as safe. It impacted on the tween psychologically. Being the new kid in the middle school Roxanne found it too hard to fit into a clique. She spent the majority of her middle school days eating lunch in the bathroom and spending breaks in the library. To make it worse from Roxanne's perspective, her mother had another child. Roxanne felt she was getting the least attention and care, the little ones practically completely dependant and the oldest often celebrated for being the first of everything By the time some students tried to make friends with her she'd built up her walls and convinced herself she was 'happier' alone.
Starting high school she found her 'clique' rather quickly or, more accurately, she was quickly written aside into it. Even among the freaks she didn't quite slot in. She was rather reserved and refused to do drugs but did have that presence some of the goths seemed to have. She made a small group of friends, however. They were the only people who seemed to know her. Rarely did she talk to anyone outside of her friends unless necessary. Despite a select group, most being her friends, Roxanne didn't hold a liking to any of the students in the school and was more than happy to leave it behind.
History Since Graduation: Roxanne didn't plan anything for her future. She graduated with fairly mediocre marks and absolutely clueless on were she was to go next. She finally decided to do a music degree as it was here favourite subject and she could play the guitar, even if it lasted it year before she gave up, couldn't hurt, right? Minor left her with few choices but she had to do something to support her music degree, teaching was the only path she could think of that she could get somewhere with. She attended Indiana University under the Jacobs School of Music and found herself rather enjoying the course.
Throughout her course she found herself coming out of her shell slowly, her attitude turning up. At first it scared Roxanne slightly, she hadn't let down her defences nor felt genuinely happy in years. Throughout coming out of her shell she met Brad Waters. He was on his last year of his ancient history course (minoring also in teaching) while Roxanne was in her second year of college. Cheery and light-hearted the pair became fast friends and Brad helped Roxanne come out of her shell more. The two remained tight friends until the last months of university for Brad approached and he asked Roxanne to be his girlfriend.
About six months after Roxanme graduated university the young couple moved to Syracuse in New York, deciding there would be more job opportunities for them both there there. On their first night in the city Brad insisted they took a break from up unpacking boxes and take a walk. He eventually lead her to a formal restaurant where he proposed to her. She accepted. The couple held off geting married for a while, until they built up the funds to afford it and the honeymoon without toomuch financial strain and were eventually wed two and a half years later.
Of course the couple wanted kids, however, they did wantto wait a bit before doing so. Build up more of a life within their job, community and home. Unfortunately the world had other plans and just less than a month afer their honeymoon Roxanne discover she was pregnant. Future ultrasounds dictated she was pregnant with twin boys. Although excited to bring life into the world the couple couldn't help but feel the nerves nagging at them. They had no idea how to raise
a child, let alone two. Roxanne, in particular, most probably attempted to overprepare herself, spending nights on the phone to her mother and motherin-law and days with friend with kids seeking advice on whatever popped into her head, some being the zaniest and oddest situations.
The eldest of the twins, Johnathon, was born early in the morning by a 'natural' (crowning) birth however the second twin wasn't positioned the right way in the womb and Roxanne had to have an emergency Ceaserean to bring Travis into the world. Despite the pain she claims it to be her favourite memory. Life quieted down for the family for them, well in a metaphorical sense, raising two little boys is never a quiet feat. Brad went back to work a couple of weeks later and after a couple of months Roxanne started taking on her private students again but waited for the start of the next school year before contracting at schools again.
Roxanne almost didn't go to the school reunion. What would be the point anyway? Between work and her family she was
busy. Even if she found the time she wasn't close to most of her peers anyway, what difference would her presence bring? Brad intercepted and between his (terrible yet somehow effective) attempts to convince her alongside her own curiosity in how everyone turned out she finally decided to go.

Why: Roxanne was extremely reserved in high school. She rarely talked to people other than her friends and almost seemed to be in her own world. She always appeared to have some cause or be rebelling against something though what that something was wasn't ever clear. Her friends were the only ones who knew her other then a name and a body up the back of the room.
