Cecily Ashworth

Location: Grimm, Indiana (Police Station)
Skills: N/A

"Got it. Be safe, Ri," Cecily said, before she ended the phone call. She took a slight breath before looking at Roy. Tinder's house would have to wait - Riley needed them to get to the asylum quickly. The last time Cecily had been at an asylum, there had been a homicide and Caesar had been with her. She felt a little bit better having Roy by her side. Despite his ties to Juno, she felt without a doubt that she could trust him. Caesar... She just didn't know. Natasha had made some compelling points before she died. Cecily quickly put on the bullet proof vest that Roy had tossed her, wondering slightly if she should just make it a permanent part of her wardrobe at this rate. Did they have bullet proof face masks for sleeping in?

"Riley needs us to get to the asylum ASAP. Said it's on the other side of town, but apparently if we just follow up the main road it won't be hard to find," Cecily explained. She then took some of the offered water, before putting it back in the cupholder. "I don't know what's going on there but... Well, it's Riley. So we need to go there. Heading to Tinder's house to check things out there can wait," she told him. Cecily bit her lip nervously, wishing that superpowers were real so that way she could just teleport to where Riley was. Hopefully it wouldn't take too long for them to get there.

Robert Adler

Location: Chicago (Grimaldi Books: Robert's apartment -> Outside of store)
Skills: Law, Research

Who was Robert lying to? He wasn't going to miss his apartment, not for a good long while at least. He surely likely his apartment, it wasn't that. In that time and economy, you'd have to be a fool not to accept an apartment like this when you had the chance; Adeliade was a decent land-lady, all things considered, and it was a whole lot better to be living there than out on the street or in his office like he usually did. But that was the thing, the very thing. He was tired; tired of going to the office, doing his work, coming back home to sleep and repeat. This wasn't a life, it was a routine. A repeating part of a huge machinery. It pissed Robert off.

So when he closed the door behind him and locked it, a part of him still found it annoying that they were going to Grimm. How was going there helping in locating Adelaide's books? But the other part of him, far out-weighing the first one, was glad to get out of this place. Perhaps the change of scenery would put a smile on the grumpy, old man's face for once?

Making his way down to the streets again, Robert didn't idle by. Thinking, thinking and digging was his job, and so he did as he descended the stairs he normally swore at. If they were going to Grimm, and already were planning on visiting the county office for information of Patty Fisher, were else could they do some research? To the man who'd spent far too long rubbing his nose in these sorts of matters, another line of investigation stuck out ot him; Hall of Records. It was, as they say, an "oldie but goldie". They'd probably find something of use there. What that something was, only time and research would show.

Finally Robert walked out on the street outside of the building. It didn't take long for him to realize Adeliade had parked her SUV on the curb and was in the process of packing in her things. "All good? Where can I put by backpack?" Robert asked her, shuffling his backpack off his back and holding it by one of the straps. It was Adelaide's car, and probably her rules applied. "Nice car. Want any help with that?"

Caesar & Keystone

Location: Grimm Indiana (Heading Towards Tinder's Place)
Skills: N/A
Skills: N/A

The difficulty with participating in an investigation was that, no matter how skilled an investigator one might be, nor how sharp one's eyes might be, nor even how amazing one's deductive reasoning might be, it made absolutely no matter in the slightest if the hypothetical Master Investigator couldn't get to the place the needed to investigate. Such it was with our intrepid, often anti-heroic protagonists, Caesar and Keystone. Perhaps the two got a little confused with the directions as they sat in their perspective seats, wondering about the odd nature of how they both tended to go by one name only; Caesar by his first without need to move along to his surname unless paperwork was in order, and Keystone almost exclusively by his last despite having the perfectly serviceable first name of Johnathon. Then again, he never really felt like a John. But that was beside the initial point, that being that they had only the vaguest idea as to where they might have turned up on the roads of Grimm, Indiana.

The good news was that, it being a smaller town, there were only a couple of main roads from which everything branched. Locating the proper address was inevitable, especially with the proper information at their disposal. The bad news was that their electronics were not quite as reliable in this place as they might have been in Chicago. Or any place between there and Chicago. It wasn't that huge of a leap for Caesar to make, seeing as more of his professional years were spent before the technological revolution of the 1990s than after it, and Keystone, well... for a confirmed urbanite, he really didn't give much of a rat's hindquarters about the sudden loss of wholly reliable GPS, being as he didn't really get to use any of the good, expensive stuff until he grew up a little. Of course, being in the more rural-ish parts of a strange country (and YES, this is a strange country to people who spent most of their life on the other side of an ocean), it still irked him not to have a clear technological advantage.

No matter. Getting turned around in an environment like this was inevitable, as was getting back on track. Even if it was a simple matter of "No, not this street, this street". Once more firmly back on what they assumed was track, the mood elevated within the SUV. Not much, mind you, and it was not as if they were having a big party in the SUV in the first place, but every little bit helped in circumstances like this. Keeping to the tradition of both men grunting or growling during times of mild annoyance, it could be fairly said that such things lessened a bit once they laid eyes on new scenery.

Strangely enough, part of that new scenery was the hauntingly lonely sight of a single balloon, listlessly being pushed in the wind yet unable to really go anywhere due to being caught in a tree. It just hung there, powerless to do anything about its circumstance, at the mercy of the elements around it. Considering the generally pleasant weather, it might have actually been there a while. Might. And this pleasantness of course did not account for the huge plume of smoke in the distance, coupled with a resulting haze that gave the town of Grimm a rather ominous feel; the discarded floaty balloon did not assist in that matter in the least. However, viewing the whole picture as optimistically, they were back on track. They thought. Time would tell - hopefully it would tell soon. That much testosterone in an enclosed vehicle was potentially bad for one's health.

Riley Ridgeway

Location: Grimm, Indiana, Grimm Asylum Subbasement
Skills: N/A

"I will, and love you stay safe and see you soon.." Riley said towards Cecily and smiled a little bit, it was good to at least hear Cecily's voice again as soon as she hung up Riley slipped her phone back into her pocket. As she kept an eye on Pyira she started to follow her into the next room. When she stopped she noticed a mummified woman pretty much laid down on an examination table and quickly went over to help Pyira out as well. Then she took a step back looking over towards Pyira for a moment, they would be getting help pretty soon hopefully nothing would happen.

"Roy is on his way, he's bringing my friend Cecily with him as well." Riley said towards Pyira as she started to watch the woman starting to take off her bandages and now started to get a clear look on her face and paused. Riley had absolutely no idea why or how Alicia was there in the first place. "Alicia, it's me Riley from Boston Heights, we are neighbors." Riley said, though she didn't have to much interaction with her, she remembered seeing her around the building. "C'mon we should head out now, Roy should be able to be there when we get to the main entrance." Riley said towards Pyira.

Chicago, Illinois (Grimaldi Books): "Yeah, just set it here," she said before making sure his stuff got in the SUV and closing the back up. "Alright, let's get this show on the road," she added before climbing into the driver seat. Once Robert was in and had his seat belt on she turned on the vehicle. She had a navigation system but she didn't power it up. She was going to Grimm and she had lived in Chicago since after she graduated college. She knew both towns, what routes to take at what time of day to get there as fast as possible. She had made this trip enough times that she could do it in the dead of night with no sleep. She had done it before. Hitting the road, it wasn't long before they were outside of Chicago and passing the state line into Indiana. They would hit Gary first and then head south. Adelaide wasn't a religious person but she found herself saying a little prayer as she drove. God she didn't want this to be like last time. That was all she needed.

Grimm, Indiana (Tinder House): Zoie walked around back while Mali was checking the front and inside. The duo from Justice pulled up about this time. There was a rental car out front and a cop car. The place seemed quiet from all things on the outside. Maybe the cop was there to inform them that their son was departed. That would be the assumption at this point, anything else would be a little outside of the realm of reality, no spidey senses tingling. Granted, two men showing up that look like they are out of some 80's cop action flick where a drug runner and 007 on Roids were about to open a can of whoop ass might change that entire scenario.

Grimm, Indiana (Asylum Sub-basement): Alicia looked confused as hell, especially looking at Priya. Hearing Riley's voice her head snapped to the side. She knew Riley. Well didn't know her know her but she had seen her around the building and knew the girl was a singer. What in the hell was she doing there from Justice? Where the hell was she? Alicia had a lot of fucking questions right then but considering she was standing on a cold worn floor in a hospital gown and bandages, she had to take a chance. Something wasn't fucking right. "Mother fucker," she said under her breath but nodded. Looking around quickly and finding the straps that had been holding her down. Picking them up she wrapped them around her fists and started marching like bat out of hell towards the doorway. Peeking her head out and looking left and right before stepping into the hallway.

Grimm, Indiana (Heading Towards The Asylum): Roy looked over towards Cecily. The Asylum? An Asylum? Oh yeah, that was fucking great. "If we run into the fucking Joker, I'm clocking out," he said with a smirk. (Granted little did he know there was a clown running around town, lol) Sighing he started up the car and began the drive away from the police station and towards the Asylum. This was not what he wanted to be doing. Then again was there really anything going on in Justice that anyone wanted to be doing right then? There was blood in the police station and he wanted to find that damn small town cop to deal with shit but Cecily was right. Riley needed help. At least she had Priya with her. Hopefully his new partner was up for the task. Tinder's place just had to wait for now. Hopefully nothing was going on there.

Priya Khurana

Location: Asylum
Skills:N/A

Priya didn’t know what to expect when she unraveled the woman from her bandage tomb, but she surely didn’t expect someone Riley was acquainted with. The woman seemed out of sorts and, given the environment, Priya wasn’t surprised. What did surprise her was the woman seeing someone she knew (Riley) and someone with law experience (Herself) and seemingly walking away from them. She followed after the girl, Alicia apparently, and stopped her.

”Whoa, hold on there. We literally found you wrapped up like a cocoon. I’m not expecting a thank you or anything, but I am definitely not leaving you to wander around here alone. There’s someone else here and we have reason to believe they have killed recently. Let’s work together and get you out of here, because I have questions that I need answered, but this is not the time or place for them.” She heard Riley, thankful for back-up now, but they still had to get out of here and the person they had been following was still around here, considering they hadn’t seen anyone come back.

Priya stepped forward, gun still in hand. She would lead Riley and Alicia out of here, but she also knew that whoever they had followed down here was dangerous and would not hold back in harming a police officer and the others with her. She would have to question Alicia later.

Mali Anson

Location: Tinder's Place
Skills: Perception, Breaking and Entering

So the place was pretty fucked up, and she wasn't hearing anything else going on inside. Chances were that the worst of the confrontation was over, but whoever or whatever did this could still be inside. The door was already open so she didn't need to try finding some way to get in, and the cops were already here, so there was no point in worrying about people calling the authorities because they looked suspicious as hell. So she could go inside and start poking around, but that's how people got fucking merced in horror films.

The ominous fog, eerie silence, small town and destruction of the Tinder household all had her convinced that was the most apropos genre for the current situation. Nothing anybody said would convince her that those rules didn't apply here. Sure, sticking together with Zoie brought its own dangers, but as long as they didn't go off to play tonsil hockey or mash scissors together, the risk of bloody death was minimized. Mali left the front door to go rendezvous with Zoie when she saw a car pulled up that wasn't there when they did. Immediately, her brain told her to find Zoie quickly. She didn't notice Caesar and Keystone in the car, so her that whoever it was, it wouldn't be good to be caught.

Best case scenario, it would be friends of the Tinders about to have a rude surprise, and to them, it would look like she caused all this. She didn't want to think about the worst case scenario. There was no way she'd be able to sneak her way around. She was too big and not nearly subtle enough to try pulling that off. Running where they could see would just make things worst. Which left one choice. God fucking dammit, horror movies and their ways of forcing you into the stupid situation. Decisively, Mali made her way into the house proper. Perhaps she could find a shortcut to Zoie's location. Or at least some sort of hidey hole that would accommodate her.

Robert Adler

Location: Chicago (Grimaldi Books: Adelaide's Car)
Skills: Law, Research

Robert was glad to put his backpack in the car and get into the passenger seat, leaning back in it as Adelaide started up the car and began to drive away. For a moment Robert raised his brows at the fact that Adelaide didn't turn on her GPS before she started driving. In fact, she didn't turn it on throughout the entire drive out of Chicago, clearly doing it by memory. Robert had to pull the side of his mouth into a smile, at least Adelaide had the brains to drive like they did back in the ol' days. Robert himself was a Chicago-native, so he had to give it to her.

Soon enough they were outside of Chicago, driving through Indiana and going towards Gary. It was odd for Robert to not be the one driving. Usually he was alone in his own car, listening to his own music and talking to himself or someone on the phone - Yes, holding it with his hand up to his phone, like a maniac, excuse you. But since he was the passenger for once, he thought he'd might as well use the time he had. "Let's see, mind if I do some reading?" Robert asked Adelaide, not waiting for an answer really as he leaned back to grab one of the FBI-files they'd found. It was one of the older files, but for all the effort Robert put into focusing on reading, he couldn't.

In fact, he was getting car-sick.

Robert's face turned a faint shade of green, though he probably felt worse than he looked. Either way, it was no use in reading now. "…that's what I get for not having been riding shotgun for…God, I don't know, years I guess. Any idea on how long till we reach the highways?" Robert asked Adelaide as a second question, putting the file back where he'd found it and turning his eyes back on the rode. Keep looking forward, make sure your brain could see where you were going. Breath in, breath out. Don't vomit on the interiour of Adelaide's shinier car than his own. "So what should we expect down there? In Grimm, I mean. Never been there myself, but it doesn't sound like an all-too-well nice place. No offense."

Cecily Ashworth

Location: Heading Towards The Asylum

Cecily chuckled slightly at that, calming down from her abstract paranoia as Roy made a reference to one of DC's most noteworthy villains. "But if Poison Ivy is there, I'm assuming you'd be okay?" she teased slightly. On some level, she did wish that they kept their metaphors consistent - since if they were Wolverine and Rogue, what sort of crossover universe was this where they were facing the Joker? But she wasn't going to let herself be annoyed by that. They were driving towards what was probably hell on Earth, so she'd take it. "Though in the DC metaphor - I'm thinking you could be the Green Arrow, then," she added.

She hoped that it wouldn't take too long for them to get to Riley - and Roy's new partner. She cared about human life in general but Riley was her roommate, her... friend? lover? They never really defined what they were to each other. Their date seemed like it had happened a lifetime ago. Cecily bit her lip slightly, glancing out the window and looking at the sights as they sped on by in the car, hoping that she wouldn't see anything odd or noteworthy. Heading to an asylum was enough. It was more than enough. "What's the game plan when we get there?" Cecily asked Roy. She didn't want to just run into the asylum blind, especially since while Roy had police training, Cecily's training was meant for after the crimes/murders had occurred - not before or during.

Caesar & Keystone

Location: Grimm Indiana (Tinder's Place, exterior front)
Skills: N/A
Skills: N/A

It sure as hell took long enough, but finally, finally the duo from MSS had made it to the alleged Tinder Place. Now, Keystone was certain to say the alleged Tinder Place because, with GPS that wasn't ideal out this way and the occasional blocked street number, he had assumed that they ad reached the Tinder Place once or twice before, only to be let down by a second, closer look. Nope, this was hands down the alleged Tinder Place until such time as he could personally confirm the address by means of - "Wait! There we've got it, Boss! Postbox an' everythin'. We're 'ere." Oh yes, how smug he felt for the confirmation of location. He knew it all along.

Caesar didn't like the looks of this place. It looked how ghettos felt, hopeless and trapping. The haze settling over everything and the scent of burning might have had something to do with that. It gave a kind of creepy small town feel that can really only be appreciated by outsiders; people like Caesar and Keystone. With those factors at play, the older man might have thought a petting zoo a sinister place. (An evil petting zoo?) And there were two vehicles already out front, a rental car and the universal symbol for "nothing to see here", a cop car. "Don't like it..." he grumbled, staring at the house and and vehicles out front.

"Bloody 'ell's to like, Boss? And when was the last time you liked anything, oi?"

"You made an omelette once." Caesar's eyes didn't leave the scene in front of him, not once.

"You liked that, didja?"

"Mmm hmm. With the smoked fish."

"Means a lot, Boss." It really did. Damn near brought a tear to his eye.

"Caesar, okay? At least in private. Somos Familia, ahora. Father to my grandson. I want you to do something for me..."

"Well yeah, Bo... Caesar. Wha'ever you need." This was beginning to sound serious.

"You have a place. Someone told me. Not in your name, right?"

"Uh huh." Keystone wasn't sure he liked where this was going. "Keepin' it on the mums, though." There was little wonder why, what with super hackers and mystic artifacts in play, along with the uncertainty of the proclivities of people around them.

"No matter what happens after we leave this town, I need you to take my family here. Anyone who can get out needs to get out now. Your baby boy, my Angelita, maybe one or two staff you can trust, if you can trust any of them anymore. Get out. Use our resources. Keep them safe. Eventually, get them to La Casa. Eventually. If you get away from this, protect them. This is your job. Okay?"

Keystone nodded somberly. London it was, with a hefty promotion and a new family in tow. Who knew, maybe they would even be able to do something useful while they were there. And if that didn't work out, he did still know a ton of quiet spots in mainland China. "Absolutely, Caesar. I can do that." Before they could get to that, they had to handle the issue in front of them first. "On the now, hows you want to play this?"

"Keep level to start. Make sure your credentials are easy to reach. And your gun. And your brass. Get me? I don't trust a thing about any of this."

"Right, Boss. Slow an' easy, eyes out for hill folk an' the like." The pair of them exited their vehicle and gave the scene before them a good once-over before walking forward. The first step in an uncertain situation was scoping out the initial scene.

Riley Ridgeway

Location: Grimm, Indiana, Grimm Asylum Subbasement

Riley looked over towards Pyira for a moment, as Alicia just got up and started to make her way out of the room, she was really confused as to what the hell was going on right now as well. She didn't really expect to have all this going on when she came back home, she closed her eyes and sighed a little bit and rubbed her eyes slightly. She started to quickly follow behind Alicia and Pyira while looking over at her. "Okay, Alicia calm the fuck down what is the last thing you remember?" Riley then asked her to see if she could get some kind of information out of the woman, or why she was even down here in the first place as well.

"This is Grimm by the way, well the asylum that is, any idea why you are even here?" Riley asked while looking around trying to find the exit out of the subbasement. Riley was also on alert as well, she really didn't like the idea of being down here, the clown or whatever could still be down here for all she knew. Or it could just simply be a huge trap for all of them as well, maybe someone who was close to Chris was down here as well to. "Help should be there when we get out of here as well." Riley said softly.

Indiana (Heading For Grimm): "Go ahead," Adelaide said as she drove. If he could use to the time to figure some things out then more power to the man. Wasn't like there really was anything else for the man to do while she drove. Adelaide didn't need a navigator. She was heading towards her hometown, she knew the route. And they really didn't know each other so there wasn't like they could talk about the good old days together. Granted, she really didn't have good old days when it came to Grimm. As they made their way south she chuckled a bit. "Well it's actually just a basic small town that's been around a while. Grimaldi, Grimm, get it?" she said. The town was named for her family. "Well, basic save for all the murders and shit that keeps happening there, and the asylum, and the grave yard that takes up more land pretty much anything else in town, and the abandoned air field. Yeah... horror film location but I think that was what Maloney had in mind, fucking psycho."

Grimm, Indiana (Tinder House): Mali is going to have no issue at all finding several routes to Zoie. Floor plan of the house is simple enough and there is a side door and a back door through the kitchen she can easily see from where she is, open floor space plan on the main floor. Windows are all around, so those are an option as well. Quickest route is through the back door. She can see Zoie out back coming up towards the back door about to enter as she looks around. Caesar is seeing marks on the edge of the front door, looks like it was forced open, doesn't stand out as a straight up break in but enough is there to know it wasn't a key that opened that door. Keystone ain't seeing shit. So bad in fact he steps on a rake and nearly crushes himself in the nose. That was if it wasn't for his bulging pecks lol. They catch the force, keep it away from his nose, and well it doesn't hurt.

"Papi?" a voice echoed in Caesar's head. So familiar, he knew this voice. It had been her first word. Somewhere in the back of his mind, and crawling forward like a day dream visions came forward. Broken but clear. A hallway, dirty and old. People, two. One that lived in his building. It was like he was seeing through someone elses eyes almost. Or someone else's dream. The vision turning until a reflection showed in metal. "Asilo, asilo papi," that same voice echoed from the very lips of the woman they belonged to. Only two words spoken. Asylum dad.

Grimm, Indiana (Asylum Sub-basement): Alicia's head whipped around and she uttered the immortal words, "Bitch, I'm already dead. Don't care about your questions and being around me if bad for your health chica," she said harshly. Then she stopped and placed her hand to her own throat, her head tilting to the side slightly. "Wait, am I dead?" she questioned. "No? Maybe? Fuck," she added as her fingers dropped. During this Priya wasn't really picking up on anything that told where the other person they had been looking for had gone to right then. Riley would be able to see where the elevators were at the end of the hallway, if they didn't work they could find the stairs, they weren't far from there.

Taking a deep breath. "Joder, lo intentarĂŠ," she uttered with a huff as she blew her hair out of her face. Fuck it, try. Closing her eyes she tried something she really didn't think was going to work but hell if it did, it would at least answer some of her own questions. "Papi?" she muttered under her breath as she stood there, seeming to concentrate a lot on nothing as her eyes opened and glazed over.

Grimm, Indiana (The Asylum - Outside): Roy looked over towards Cecily, she wasn't picking up on anything out of the ordinary. Okay, no more out of the ordinary than they had already seen. Everything is fucking weird right now but yeah, nothing new is popping out as Roy heads towards the Asylum. Roy sighed and he tried to say something but then stopped. "You know what? I got no fucking clue. Screw it, doesn't matter. We talk, we make a plan, we get there, and all hell breaks out. Plans always go to shit. Fuck it. We go in, find Riley and Priya. We get out. That's the best I got," he said as they pulled up to the asylum. It was kind of funny in a bad way because it was true. Planning had gotten nothing. Everything always went to hell. Fuck it. Gun, keep Cecily behind him, find the others, tell this town to fuck off. Go to the Bahama's.

The place looked old and run down and it was. Been there for a long time. Had been open and closed a lot over the years. "Oh great, looks like fucking Arkham," he said as he turned the car off and opened the driver door. Standing up he checked his weapon and looked over towards Cecily before letting out a breath.

Robert Adler

Location: Indiana(Heading for Grimm)
Skills: N/A

Robert's eyes were mostly locked onto the roads coming towards them at high speed, refraining from turning his head too much as they still were on their way towards the highway that would be much smoother. Robert hadn't been riding shotgun for years, at least not in a sober enough condition to blame his uneasy stomach on the road, nor had he been driving a whole lot outside of the city proper. The roads back home in Chicago weren't in perfect, mint-condition either, but this was different. Robert, mostly looking at the road, still turned to look at Adelaide a couple of times as they spoke. Not looking at her would feel awkward, even if they didn't know each other that much.

Then again, Robert was good at shoving his muddied shoe into his own mouth, so what did he know? Robert looked sideways to Adelaide with her giving him a quick overview of Grimm, their next destination. He nodded his head in confirmation, Grimm and Grimaldi. Neat. "You don't say? So your family is of importance to Grimm then? Italian, I assume." Robert casually commented on her family's history, continuing to listen as she explained further. "Yeah, sounds a whole lot like Friday 13th or Texas Chainsaw Massacre…Maloney?"

Robert at first didn't recognize the name, but it soon came crashing into his consciousness. His little joking comment now made himself feel bad for saying that. "Oh…right, sorry. Name didn't ring at first. Pscycho yeah…You have any idea why he wanted it like that? The horror-thingy and all?" Robert asked at first, his gaze going back to the road as he took a deep breath in, trying not to feel any worse than he already was. It wasn't really working, a mix of car-sickness and shame perhaps? Robert leaned further back into his seat, resting his against the passanger door as he slowly closed his eyes. Perhaps just getting some shut-eye would help? "Is it okay if I snooze a few minutes? I promise I don't snore. And if I do, just poke me or throw something at me."

Priya found herself getting more aggravated than she wanted to. After all, the woman had been tied up. That would put anyone in a horrid state of mind. She did NOT appreciate the insult. ”Look princess, you can go at it alone or come with us, either way I am pushing forward. For all I know, judging by how you’re acting at the moment, you were a patient here. Would explain the bandages. And you sure as hell ain’t dead. If you were dead and are now alive, I’d have to shoot you. I’ve seen enough zombie TV shows to know that. So seeing as that is not the case, how about we move onward now?”

She glanced at Riley, hoping the girl would help calm Alicia down enough to allow them to move forward. Priya was still concerned about the crazy person they chased here. She hadn’t heard anything. And if Alicia kept going on like she was, she would give away her position. Priya took point now, gun in hand. Hopefully back-up would be here soon. She would feel safer with Alicia being taken to the hospital and them looking around with more capable hands.

Not that she didn’t trust Riley, but Riley wasn’t real law enforcement. Past murder or not, knowing how to use a gun in self-defense did not make you an expert in the field.

Cecily Ashworth

Location: The Asylum - Outside
Skills: Deduction

Cecily nodded slightly at Roy's rant about essentially going in with no plan, and truth be told, it freaked her out. One of her fears was being asked to improvise - to produce an answer without really knowing what was going on. The barebones of the plan were pretty much fine - go in, find their friends, and get out. But what if they ran into trouble? Did Roy want her to hide behind him or try to do science on the fly to throw a bomb at someone worthy of being shown on MythBusters? God, she missed watching that show and it hadn't been too long since she binge watched a bunch of reruns. "Yay..." Cecily said quietly as they pulled up at the asylum and it looked pretty much like Arkham. Was that a coincidence? Was this place inspiration for Arkham Asylum? Or did every creepy asylum just have to look the same?

She got out of the car, closing the door and she tried her best not to have an internal monologue about how the car door shutting signaled the start of the next round of crazy, life threatening shenanigans. What would Jessica Jones do? She would take a deep breath, stay calm, and try her best in a shitty situation. Cecily repeated that answer to herself in her mind a few times, trying to work through the enormous nerves that were buzzing around inside of her like bees. Now wasn't the time to freak out and run. Riley needed her. Roy's partner needed her. Roy needed her. "...Ladies first?" Cecily suggested, before motioning for Roy to go first. A little bit of humor would help to soothe her nerves, hopefully.

Mali Anson

Location: Tinder's Place
Skills: N/A

Well that made things simple. Kind of. There was still the matter of more visitors being around, but at least she didn't have to worry about Zoie. Finding her at least. The panicking voice in the back of Mali's subconscious urged her to make a dash for it as quickly as possible, but knowing her, she'd make a bunch of ruckus or accidentally break something and only draw attention to herself or otherwise fuck it up. As far as she knew, they didn't know she was here, so she had some measure of time.

But still, she found herself walking far more quickly over to the opposite side of the house than she would have otherwise. Just a notch or two below running really. But the advantage of being on the inside was that she had access to all the locks. Even though the place was broken into, chances were that all the other doors were locked. At least that's how things worked back home. She'd heard about weird towns where people supposedly left their door's unlocked, but Mali doubted those actually existed. As it stood if forced to guess, she had it at about a three in four chance that that back door was locked. Regardless, over on this side even if it was, she could undo it in a second. Mali opened up the back door for her fellow investigator/unlawful trespasser and beckoned her in.

"Big problem. People have shown up." Not the most informative warning she could have given, but by far the most coherent she could jumble together in the 15 seconds she had to compose it while thinking about 3 other things.

Riley Ridgeway

Location: Grimm, Indiana, Grimm Asylum Subbasement
Skills: N/A

"Well you look pretty damn good for a dead chick then." Riley said looking at Alicia for a moment as she watched Pyira as she started to move forward closing her eyes she sighed a little bit. "The stairs and elevators aren't far." Riley said to the both of them, she really didn't want to stay down here any longer than she needed to now. Seeing as the killer isn't down here at all with them was also a bit disturbing as well. "I'm going to try the elevator see if it works." Riley said towards them as she started to make her way over towards the elevator and pressed the up button.

"Roy and Cecily should be here soon, we should meet up before we find the killer clown again." Riley suggested, whether Pyira or Alicia wanted to go with her that was up to them. Riley then pressed the up button a few more times and took a couple of steps backwards, she was still really paranoid being down here as well. "And any kind of information would really be helpful, if you know anything to." Riley said looking at Alicia, since she didn't say why or how she had gotten down here and in Grimm in the first place as well.

Caesar & Keystone

Location: Grimm Indiana (Tinder's Place, exterior front)
Skills: Seek The Guilty, Tracking
Skills: General Observation, Security Procedures

The skills picked up a solid lifetime ago, back when the elder Mexican was an upstanding (if horribly violent) member of the Mexican Federal Police, were still just as sharp and valid as they ever were. It was old hat, falling back into his manhunting skills even after time had passed with him being a businessman (also, if horribly violent). While little of a specific nature peeks out at him to begin with, in a moment or two Caesar notices marks on the front door. Whatever is and/or was going down here, it wasn't 100% with the owner's best interests in mind. Then who do these vehicles belong to? There lay the question. Cop car or not, something funny was going on. Not "haha" funny, but "some bitch gonna get stabbed" funny. To that end, Caesar palmed a blade and drew his pistol. Something wasn't right here.

Meanwhile, Keystone was getting two amazing pieces of information from the scene: Jack and Shit, with Jack having left town without forwarding address. Wait, maybe not nothing - he did step on the business end of a garden rake, its tines carelessly left pointing UP for some unsuspecting dolt to plant a foot upon, rocketing the wooden deathhandle on a collision course with Keystone's nose and/or teeth. With nigh-telegraphed awesomeness, Keystone's intense physical conditioning halted the progress of the Shaft O' Doom, prompting a victory speech from the gargantuan Brit: "Ha! Me powerful pecs've rendered me bloody immune t'your fuckstickery there, Rake! You can jolly fuckin' well bite it then, can't ya? Yeaaah!"

Briefly, Caesar gave consideration to turning his weapons on Keystone for being such a motard, out in public, while they were on a case. Obviously, stealth was not the big man's priority, as whatever advantage in that regard they may or may not have had was more than likely just obliterated, thanks to his epic victory against yard tools. This man was supposed to take care of his family? Better observation: This man put his genetics into his family's line? The thought was sobering.

Sobering suddenly turned to alarmed, on the older man's face. Not just alarmed, but he looked like he had just seen a ghost. As it turned out, that wasn't a very far assessment of the situation. Caesar sheathed his blade numbly and felt his gaze snap back to Keystone. "GET IN THE CAR!" he bellowed, stomping back to the SUV himself, pained shock painted across his face. He was looking absolutely pale.

"Ah, c'mon Boss, it ain't all that ba..."

"No, we're out, pendejo! GET IN THE FUCKING CAR NOW!"

"Pullin' outta the lead? We just got 'ere!"

Caesar was ready to shoot the man. "CAR. NOW." He was already climbing into the driver's seat. By the time that Keystone was in and closing the door, Caesar was already halfway back out of the driveway.

"Y'mind tellin' me what's what, Caesar?" He remembered to use his first name this time.

"Look, I'm not asking you to believe me or understand, but one of two things just happened: I just heard M'hija and I need to go to the asylum, or I just heard M'hija, and I need to go to the asylum. Okay?" The driving was still faster and he'd have liked, given the circumstances, but it was becoming less erratic as Caesar's calmer, yet somehow more murderous and deliberate impulses took over. "Navigate." The word was chilling, final. Keystone scrambled to locate a map or something useful to his endeavor, finally settling on the onboard GPS of their vehicle and map feature of his satphone. Navigate away.

Special Note: Oh my.... As the characters start looking around, they are going to notice something odd. You know how your vision gets after you rub your eyes for too long? Things seem to have that haze over them? Like looking through a bit of a fog? Yeah, that is how everything is looking right now.

Indiana (Heading For Grimm): Adelaide nodded. Her family was Italian, at least Italian decent. Her was actually rather proud of her family's heritage. So much in fact that after her accident in college she had a tattoo of the families coat of arms done on her back to cover the scaring. Only one she had but it was huge and covered the majority of her skin. It was a way of healing for her. As far as Chris had gone, that was still up for debate but she had her theories. Ones she had tried not to think about after Riley shot him back during the reunion. "He wanted to be a famous movie director in High School, I don't know, maybe he thought if he did this it would make him famous. And it did, in the worst way possible," she said as she continued to drive. After years of visiting Cynthia in the mental ward, she learned to never really try to figure out the mind of the crazy. It just brought you to bad places. "Yeah, go ahead," she added when Robert mentioned he wanted to take a nap. Adelaide reached up and rubbed her eyes, did she not get enough sleep last night? Why was everything looking weird?

Grimm, Indiana (Asylum Sub-basement): Alicia felt something and smirked. "Papi," she said as her eyes unclouded and went clear. Looking at Priya, Alicia now had a better idea of what was going on. She wasn't sure but at least knew one thing. She was still technically dead, and well technically was the best way to be right then. Picking up a rusted and half crushed empty soda can from the trash that dotted the old floor Alicia twisted and ripped it. "Girl, I'm fuckin' dead. Not crazy," she said as she took the jagged edge of the can and tried to cut herself. The skin didn't pierce at first. It took a lot to hurt a Paradox. They were a bit tougher skinned and healed a bit faster. Pushing down hard and twisting she finally broke skin. Pulling it away there was blood, then it dried and the cut began to heal.

Looking over at Riley she smirked. "Thanks, I try. It's the Latina in me, we age well," she joked. Alicia always was a bit different. Moving with Riley, Priya is having a hard time finding a trail now. Thing is, she is damn sure she should be able to pick up on one. Did the thing just vanish into thin air? Because with the floor, the dirt, the trash, the way things echo down here, there is not way in hell that whatever they were following could not have left some sort of trail.

The elevators are not working but there are stairs and the door is open. Alicia stops as everything seems to shirt and her vision gets a little blurry and everything feels like she is looking through a haze. "Oh fuck that can't be good. Wish I knew what the hell was goin' on Chica. Shits gettin' weird," she said as she kept walking. That was an understatement, and if Alicia was calling something weird then just damn.

Grimm, Indiana (Tinder House): Zoie looked over towards Mali and nodded. She was about to round the corner and try to see who the hell was here now. Then she had to stop and rub her eyes. Everything seemed to take on a haze. "What in tarnation?" she muttered to herself. Maybe she had something in her eyes. Then she heard voices. It wasn't like Caesar was being quiet, hell he was yelling. "Wasn't that the Mexican who lives in your building?" she asked as she peeked her head around the corner as their SUV backed out and started heading towards the Asylum. They would be there within five minutes. It wasn't a long drive. Zoie lowered her weapon and started walking back around to the front of the house as the SUV drove out of sight. "What the fuck is goin' on around here?" she asked. Not really to Mali but to herself and well the universe in fucking general. She still couldn't get her vision to clear up.

Grimm, Indiana (The Asylum - Outside): "Yeah, thanks Dad," Roy said to Cecily with a chuckle. Well if he was the lady, she had to be the guy. :P Cecily is managing to keep cool about everything, which is real damn good because as her and Roy push into the Asylum and see the place looks rather abandoned, like not recently abandoned. Like it has been sitting here frozen in time for the last fifty years abandoned. Roy stops and rubs his eyes. "I think I got dust in my eyes," he said as he rubbed his eyes but that wasn't helping. Blinking he kept his gun up and tried again to look around. That blur in his vision wasn't going away. "I feel like I just stepped into the damn Twilight Zone...."

Cecily Ashworth

Location: The Asylum - Inside
Skills: Cool Headedness, Deduction

Cecily rolled her eyes slightly as Roy called her Dad, since there was no way she was old enough to be his father - but she had called him a woman, so the rules of logic weren't really applying here (unless Roy had a confession to make). Her nerves thankfully weren't too rattled as they entered the Asylum and she blinked rapidly, trying to clear the haze in her vision. Maybe this was her body trying to tell her to go back to a normal routine and take better care of herself? Or was this about to be their superhero origin story Ă  la Daredevil, with the dust or whatever had gotten in their eyes blinding them? "Same, my eyes are definitely not wanting to work right now... So that's fantastic timing."

However, with the appearance of the Asylum... Cecily was getting an even worse feeling about this entire situation. She had read enough comic books to know that abandoned, creepy locations usually ended up being hideouts for the big bad of the issue. Whatever Riley and Priya were doing here, it was no good. She took another breath, staying calm and cool despite everything around her that was primed to send her into a full on panic mode and flee for the door. "... Let's find our people and get the hell out of here, yeah?" she suggested. As much as a small part of her wanted to go all CSI on this place, she cared more about getting their friends to safety and regrouping. There was strength in numbers - and she trusted Riley and Roy at least.
