Question, would it be acceptable if a character had a weapon and devil fruit? or per say get a devil fruit later on?

@Jabber Well, nobody else has said anything yet, so I'll make a suggestion: the local ship master in Lougetown is in need of some rare item to help fix or otherwise spruce up a particular ship for a very rich client, and is willing to exchange a boat for said item if it's found. Maybe Nose Ring's gang is involved with the theft of that item in some way, since they seem to be a relatively heavy presence around the place.

So when you say plot ideas do you mean for this specific area or in general because I got a bunch for the latter and not so much for the former.

So hey @Great Sogeking, what type of a boxer is TJ anyway? I think I'll end up making a grappler so I figured I'd try and be as separate from the boxer as possible. I thought I'd ask since the character seems the type to lean more towards the technical outfighter type but he's also pretty tall and weighty, if ironically not a heavyweight by modern weightclasses.
