Jett nodded with a sigh and a slight smile. "Yeah, but that always was one of the reasons I fell in love with her," he admitted. He shook his head to clear his train of thought and turned to Amelia, grinning. He jumped to his feet and said excitedly, "Hey, for old time's sake, why don't we go out and---" Jett cut off and groaned, realizing the terms Sacha had set for him. "I forgot. I'm technically confined to camp and forbidden from doing anything remotely interesting."

Amelia nods a bit. Before grinning. "Oh come on now, are you really going to listen to Sacha??" She raises an eyebrow with a smirk. "Dont you realize...she has no power over you anymore!" She shrugs. "But okay, go ahead. Lay down and roll over, play dead for your old girlfriend." She gets to her feet, brushing herself off. "I'll by at the training hill if you decide to live a little." she heads over to her tent, grabs her crossbow and heads out of camp without glancing back at him.

Jett clenched his hands into fists and looked over his shoulder nervously. Not spotting anyone paying attention to them, he turned back to Amelia and called in a hushed voice, "You're just trying to get me thrown out now, aren't you?" He checked over his shoulder one more time before sprinting after her. He slowed to a walking pace and fell in stride with her and muttered, "Oh my god, she's going to kill me. She'll take out my own switchblade and kill me with it."

"Yeah. Friends." Kianna chuckles sarcastically. "I don't know most of them very well. Amelia is okay, Ambrose too. I just stick to myself." She shrugs momentarily before holding the tea cup. She eyes its contents, not really aiming to drink it. She set the cup back down and glanced at Misha. "You won't be here for long probably. We don't need extra mouths to feed." Kianna spoke lowly.

Misha cocked her head and pursed her lips. "Aw, you don't want to keep me around?" She snorted. "Nah, I'll be glad to get back. I hope you got what you wanted outta me." She winced as she rubbed her shoulder, still sore from being yanked by Brick's lumbering gorilla form. "Hope it was all worth the effort to bring me back here."

I got myself into this whole mess because I was worrying too much about things that were just out of my control, he told himself. He smiled slightly and started slowly speeding up into a quick jog. I'd rather risk getting kicked out than live there like a prisoner, he decided, feeling adrenaline begin to pump through his veins. A huge smile spread across his face as he reached a full on sprint, and for the first time since he left the forest, he shifted into a Siberian tiger and continued running.

Marik simply watched as Nadia worked, feeling that she had the situation under control. When the fire lit up he moved a little closer to it. Even in its small form the fire provided immediate comfort in the chill of the day. He sighed at her question, thinking of the bustle of the camp. "I am indeed a Rabin, but that does not mean I care to be there at every moment of the day. Particularly when it appears so busy." He gestured to the empty forest around them. "I am sure you are someone who can appreciate the benefit of solitude given where you are. I have not seen you with anyone else."

Kianna eyes Misha as she spoke. It was worth it... getting to see you, she thought to herself. "I'm glad we got to see each other though. I've missed you." Her voice was barely audible, as she turned her attention back to the fire. She felt nervous being so open, especially in camp with the others.

Nadia finished building the fire up and sat back, across from Marik. She raised an eyebrow before replying. "I don't meet too many people that are worth my time," she says plainly. Marik was respectful enough and didn't mind the polite conversation every now and then. "You're also not out to fight every moving object in the forest. That gets bothersome." She put her hands out towards the fire to warm herself up.

I haven't lived here in 2 years and honestly, I couldn't tell you where we are," he chuckled. He glanced at her, "Can you get us back there?"

Marik shrugged at her comments. "Few people are worth the time. But come now, there is nothing wrong with a fight once and again." He removed his scythe from his belt in a non-threatening matter and examined the blade for a moment. "There is no greater to way to know a person then to see them in battle." His eyes lifted from the weapon to her. "You seemed skilled with that knife the other day I saw you, after all. Or perhaps are you rather one for peaceful correspondence?"

"Was everyone on your side okay too?" Aya asked, relieved that he seemed to be okay to talk about it. There might not be another chance for a little while from them to share their healing techniques. She laughed a little at Destin's words. "Don't worry, people won't hurt me. If they tried to, I'd just fly away." she glanced over the piles of herbs they'd sorted. "This looks good, huh? You should have seen the plants yesterday! It was some miracle that they hadn't been killed by the cold yet."

Oh no. Aya felt a panic rising within her. This was the last thing she had wanted. She couldn't bare to see Destin upset, not again. But she wasn't going to let her emotions take over. What could she do to make him feel better? Acting more on instinct than thought she wrapped her arms around him and pulled him in close. She couldn't remember the last time she'd hugged someone like that. Something about it felt so right. She waited to see his reaction.
