Ryuko Ishiniwa

Ryuko scoffed at Mitsuki, and crossed her arms. "Friends? Are you serious?" She didn't expect that kind of amicability, especially when it came from someone in the Order. It actually caught her off-guard enough to not completely reject it. "Well, you have to earn my trust, and show me you actually care first if an irresponsible girl like you wants to be friends with me," she said, and made an aside glance at the other Order girl who was staring at her, directing her words also at her. "And I don't think that's likely." She realized she let her emotions run a bit too freely, and it hurt the Hero Brigade's reputation, so she tried to play it a bit cooler.

Speaking of stances, her's wavered a bit. her legs shook from the sudden cold that emerged in the room, and she sneezed. She was about to ask if someone left the window open when she saw the white-haired girl Yuna enter the room, bringing the weather with her. Ryuko's eyes tightened into an intense glare as her eyes drilled into her, suspecting that she was behind the sudden blizzard phenomenon; she remembered seeing her use ice magic when they once happened upon the same Primordial.

And then the furball started talking. It's about time, Ryuko thought to herself. The Primordial influx was nothing new to her, as she has herself noticed the growing rate of attacks. But the Primordial Queen was news to her. She got pumped up first, excited at the prospect of hitting the plague right at it's source. However, the thrill died down to disappointment. She facepalmed. "Wait, did I hear that right? The reason these Primies are out there eating folks is because of our infighting? That's just stupid. And you're even more stupid for believing that," she said pointing her finger at Erica. "The Primordials are out there killing people, and no amount of hand-holding will save them. Unless you cowards get your act together, an alliance would be pointless."

The situation turned frustrating for Ryuko, her temper not helped by the fact that another girl turned up late, until she noticed who it was. She turned to her and put her hands to her sides. "You didn't miss anything, Angel." Ryuko has fought with her a couple of times, and bonded with her over their shared distaste at the Order. Feeling a need to protect the younger girl like his brother protected her, she decided to become a reliable senior of sorts to her. She turned around, and transformed into her magical girl attire. "Now come on Angel, we're going to the Train Station in Miso High." She then said as she stepped out the door. After the display that these so-called "leaders" showed, Ryuko came to the conclusion that they didn't have control of the situation at all with their delusions and idiocy. The hot-blooded girl decided that she would have to take Akame's place as the guiding beacon for the Hero Brigade's efforts, and unite the magical power in Miso against the growing threat.

~Akame and Haku~

Akame wasted no time in getting her friend the fresh batch of cookies, offering up either of the three faces on the sugary treats. While she did that, she made sure to listen to her friend’s explanations. Yuuna had been traveling for some time and doing some investigating of her own so it was only natural that she knew what she was talking about. And frankly, the idea of a Primordial Queen was quite scary. All the more reason to combine the two groups together.

And then came her explanation for all of it, Akame noting how both Haku and Yuuna seemed to glare at one another. From that logic it did seem to make sense. After all, Primordials fed off of negative energy and what was more negative than former friends fighting with each other? It was just horrible.

“Well, it does make sense. All the more reason why we should follow the Contractor’s advice and work together from now on,” Akame added in, a serious expression on her face. “If fighting between ourselves is causing more problems for the people of this city, then we have to settle our differences right now.”

“That’s a very positive perspective of things Akame Natsuko,” the Contractor observed from the sidelines before it too noticed the appearance of the Primordials. “Well I’ll let you girls decide on that in the meantime. But as of now, you can consider this meeting adjourned. Have fun everyone.”

And just like that, the Contractor was gone, leaping away and out of sight as the Magical Girls prepared to do battle. Akame nodded to Yuuna’s words, setting aside a cup of tea in the class microwave before looking to her big sister. It had been a while since they had fought like this together.

“Are you ready Big Sis? Let’s all do our best to win, win, win!” she said aloud, hoping to encourage the other girls. She failed to see the glare Haku gave her, the bespectacled girl turning her gaze to give a knowing glance to Erika. And then she too departed, transforming into her Magical Girl attire and stepping to Yuuna’s side.

“Don’t talk like we’re equals Yuuna. I’m only doing this because our respective leaders think it’s the best course of action. And whatever Erika says, I follow. Now please, try to keep up,” she said before zipping out of the room in a burst of yellow.

Yukino Okajima

And that was that, or so it seemed. The meeting ran its course in short order and now it was time for all of them to disperse and deal with the matter at hand which drew them all together in the first place, the Primordials. If there was one thing they could all agree upon it was that they had to eliminate the Primordials at all cost, even the Order knew to put aside their animosity for the Contractor in order to face these monsters. Granted, none of them knew very much about the Primordials beyond that they caused devastation wherever they went and now they apparently had some sort of Queen figure that had been drawn in by the magical girl's divided camps.

"I should be off as well." Yukino stood from her chair and nodded respectfully to the remaining magical girls of both sides. While she wasn't certain as to how well they would work together, the contractor painted a picture of the coming times being insurmountable unless some unity was formed. How serendipitous that their mortal enemy choose to attack in two different locations at the same time which served to peacefully end the meeting and provide an opportunity for them to mingle and cooperate over their shared interest. "Since our more experienced members have gone to the station, I will pursue the bridge. Best of luck in your hunting."

In a flash of green light Yukino was garbed in her Magical Girl attire, sighing pleasantly as the far warmer garb enveloped her while the stalks serving as her weapon wrapped around her natural insulation from the snow she would embroil herself in outdoors. Once again, the hunt was on.

While she might not express overly hostile enmity for the Hero Brigade, Mitsuki was nonetheless skeptical of the explanation provided. A Primordial Queen arriving here simply because of their conflict? No, that was unlikely. They had not affected significant amounts of the populace after all, and their numbers were not enough to be that much of a draw for something so powerful. No, she had the feeling there was something else going on.

She let none of that slip though, mentally deciding to investigate on her own later. "If you say so," she replied calmly, letting the matter drop. Instead she turned to Ryuko once more, the girl rejecting the notion that they could possibly be friends in spite of all that had just been said. She was a stubborn one, wasn't she? "I'm sorry you think that," she replied in turn. "But I feel that you may find yourself surprised, if you allow for the opportunity." She winked, then let it drop. The proof could come later.

There would not be much more time to discuss things as the announcement of a primordial attack was made, the groups splitting up in order to go fight them off wherever they showed up. That was concurrent with Angel arriving, whom Mitsuki waved at. The group split up, some girls headed off to the bridge, while the others headed off towards the station. Certainly they had enough girls here to handle two attacks at once, though whether it could be done without animosity and conflict amongst those girls there was in doubt.

"Well, I suppose I shall head downtown," she said with a smile, rising to her feet and twirling as she transformed into her magical girl attire. With that done she waved to the others, even as she moved for the door. "Until we meet again." With that she headed off. There was work to be done, and it would not wait for her.

Sakiko Akazawa

Ryuko Ishiniwa was not alone in such a sentiment— that much was for certain.

Sakiko Akazawa remained quiet as she loomed in the back with an air of discontent as the meeting seemed to run its course not too long after the retort by the brash yet confident member of the Hero Brigade was shot out. At the center of her gut she agreed with the belief that the notion was ridiculous and a derogation of everything they existed to do as a mahout shojo; in fact, Sakiko was feeling like the entire meeting was a waste of time. Sakiko could’ve better used her time and resources better doing something useful like patrolling rather than stand and nod as leaders and vocal members of either faction had their piece. It was likely so obvious that Sakiko didn’t want to be at the meeting that she didn’t even need to voice irritation through a sigh or grumble. But she had been asked to come to this little meet and greet, so she was going to stick to it since she agreed to it.

The next voice Sakiko paid attention to was that of Yukino Okajima who spoke of her intention to head for The Bridge given that it seemed everyone had the situation at the Station handled.

Sakiko nodded in agreeance before looking back to those of her faction who were waiting on her own answer despite how silent she had been during the whole meeting, “The Bridge. That’s where I’m going.”

Moving back towards Yukino’s direction she took a light breath. “Let’s make this quick.”

Erika Natsuko

"I believe it's about time for us to move as well, Akame. The others seem to have ignored Yuuna's plan, though, I guess it's up to us to salvage the situation." Erika said to Akame as she walked off of the meeting room at a regular pacing, without even turning into her magical girl form, keeping her cool as she always did. "I'll handle the Train Station, you can go to the Downtown area, let us at least try and minimize the casualties. Farewell, for the time being, Akame."

At the Train Station, a group of Primordials, five or six in total, ran between the people trying to take shelter from the rain turned snow under the cover of the platforms as they waited for their train to arrive. The dark beings were spreading negative energy like a plague between the people, whose depression, or even darker feelings, were becoming more and more evident with each passing minute. Suddenly, as a train with a destination toward the suburbs of Miso City approached the B-Platform, a man drew a pocket knife at a woman as he tried to take her purse and make a run for it, the woman on her own, tried to fight, calling for help but, no one dared to interfere for fear of being knifed.

With one last jerk on the woman, the man lost his balance and slipped off the platform, trying to get a hold of himself by gripping another woman, who was thoroughly distracted review some papers (homework sheets from her students, upon closer inspection), dropping both of them on the tracks... it was far too late for the train to stop...

Yuna Yukino

"It seems that someone is following us. Why is it that no one never follows the plans? That's why we ended like this." Yuna said to Haku as both of them run by the riverbank, as far as they could. Haku still had an edge over Yuna even on this condition, but the ice magical girl wasn't slow by any means. Any of the other girls trying to reach the bridge would do so long after the two of them had gotten there, since the metallic construct was located almost all the way across the city, from Miso Middle.

"I still don't understand it. Why have you followed Erika's words, Haku? You know it won't change anything..." Yuna once more tried to get through Haku as they run at full speed, in the cold bitting wind.

Angel Cassandra Malve

Angel looked around the table at the others who were still sitting in the room. Even though Ryuko said she didn't miss anything, it sure felt like she did. She shrugged it off assuming that Ryuko would end up explaining it later. She wasn't positive about it since she didn't always get a straight answer to the questions she asked. This is something she hasn't learned to uunderstand yet.

She grabbed one of the cookies that were offered to her before she stood up. Following Ryuko's lead, she changed into her Magic Girl Attire. She nodded as she was told they were going to go to the train station in Miso High. "Okay, I'm coming!" She responded.

Hesitantly she turned to the others, and waved her hand. As she did so she called out, "Bye!" She knew just because she didn't like a few people in the room doesn't mean she shouldn't say bye to them. She turned back around towards the door, placing her hand down and ran out, catching up to Ryuko.

Unaware of the previous plans, Angel asked, "Why exactly are we going to the train station?" She knew that it was very rare Ryuko did something without a reason. There were a lot of times where Angel wished she could loosen up a bit, and have some fun.

Ryuko Ishiniwa

Ryuko hopped from rooftop to rooftop, the haughty girl completely confident that Angel would follow her. She spotted a couple of the other girls also leaving, and noted that most of them decided to head in the direction of the bridge, and only one girl went to downtown. Not that it worried her, since she knew she could handle any kind of threat, no matter how big. Occasionally she would glance back at Angel, and then shook her head; she couldn't imagine how she could wear something so low-cut and with a short skirt in a cold weather like this without freezing. She theorized that magical girls had some environmental protection that enabled them to act anywhere regardless of their attire.

Once she felt she found a roof with good visibility to the station, she stopped, and leaned against a chimney as she waited for Angel. She remembered what her fighting style was, and her weakness of requiring time, as she remembered one fight where things went awry due to her trying to mix up something difficult.
After she took an initial glance at the train station, she turned her attention towards the magical girl who soon caught up to her.
"There's Primordials attacking. And based on what I heard, there's probably gonna be more than a few. Hey, you used that potion magic right?" She asked her as she summoned her hammer. The weapon was accompanied by a faint roar of an engine as the weapon puffed out a small cloud of smoke. She then slammed the weapon on the ground head first, and the weapon dissolved into a white round barrier around them adorned by the face of an outward-facing cackling cartoon skull.

"Start brewing. As soon as you're done we're gonna-" she said as she looked over at the station, and had to stop due to her eyes narrowing down in response to seeing the Primordials running amok and caused civilians to fall to the tracks.
"Oh hell no!" She exclaimed, and summoned a new hammer.
"I'll distract the Primies, you go and save them!" She shouted, and then jumped off the rooftop with an explosive leap. She knew she couldn't use her barriers to stop the train, since it would result in the passengers being killed from the crash. She blasted off towards the nearest Primordial, and made a downward swing on it with her hammer, causing the earth to quake from the impact.
"How about you pick on someone your own size, like me!" She shouted to them in a ploy to draw their attention, and generated a strong barrier in the form of a jeering skull from the palm of her open hand to deflect counterattacks before she retreated back into the air, where the collateral damage to the city was minimal. She realized she may have been biting off more than she could chew by getting the heat on her; while one Primordial can be a challenge in and of itself, six was a lethal match-up. Despite this, the braided girl held onto a brave heart, knowing she is a heroine Miso doesn't deserve but needs, and that she is the only thing between the city and utter chaos.

~Akame and Haku~

“It would appear so,” Haku grunted back, not paying too much attention to the conversation at hand. The two were speeding off towards the direction of the bridge, getting ever closer. She had a feeling no one would actually follow the plans and instructions given to them so she wasn’t bothered by those in pursuit behind them. It was just one more thing Yuna should have expected.

However, a sharp glare was passed to her snowy companion, Haku frowning before she said, “I could ask you the same thing. Why do you continue to follow the words of that optimistic fool Yuna? Even you can’t expect things to get better. Not with the way we are now-”

Her words were cut off as something even faster than they zipped by, Haku momentarily caught off guard. Well speak of the devil. The only one faster than her and Yuna was the leader of the Hero Brigade herself. Akame was headed towards the bridge like her sister had told her to, sulking as she zoomed by. Having transformed into her Magical Girl uniform, Akame crossed her arms and huffed as the world around her became a blur.

“I just wanted us to fight as a team for once Big Sis. Like we used too. Was that so bad?” she asked herself. Ordinarily she would have stopped by to greet Yuna but Erika’s dismissive nature hurting her more than she wanted to admit. With a heavy sigh, she was the first to arrive to the bridge, calming herself to try and sense where the Primordial was located.

It wouldn’t be long, the dark creature revealing themselves with a heavy aura and a confident stare, as confident as a monster could exude. It pointed a deadly looking katana at Akame, challenging her with no remorse. The click of its boots echoed as it rushed towards the leader, blade held high for the first strike, shadowy wisps trailing behind.

Back at the train station, the second Primordial would make itself known in the form of a much shorter shadowy girl. This one held what appeared to be two giant oversized scissors blades. Seeing the grisly fate of the man and woman, it dragged its blade along the ground that left behind sparks only the Magical Girls would be able to see.

Glancing around, Mitsuki sighed as she realized that she was the only one headed downtown. How typical. Here she was, wanting the chance to show off, to breach the barriers that had been erected by everyone and to make some friends, and nobody had bothered to come with her. Not that it was a problem, since she could handle this attack by herself, but it didn't exactly make things easy on her. How was she supposed to work like this?

"Why am I not surprised," she grumbled to herself as she ran along, honing in on the attack. "How am I supposed to get anything done like this?" It seemed no one wanted to listen to the Contractor or Yuna. This was going to prove problematic sooner or later.

Sadly, she had the feeling that this was going to be a situation that endured, even as she bounded across rooftops and drew near the location of the fight. Hopefully the Contractor had a plan for that, because as it stood it looked like they were never going to reconcile their differences. And she was really not in the mood for taking direct action. Not yet anyway.

At last she arrived on the scene of the conflict to find things had rapidly descended int an unsavory state. Unsavory as in there had been multiple fenderbenders in this one intersection, with traffic backed up, people angry, everything that the Primordials would feast on. They would need to be stopped, before things got any worse here.

She came to a stop on the rooftop, perched carefully on the ledge as she swept the scene down below. "Now then, where are you," she mused aloud, looking for the Primordials that had caused this entire mess in the first place. They would probably be nearby, feeding off the emotions and growing more powerful. That was why they had to be stopped now, before it was too late.

It didn't take long to see a shadowy figure off to the side, holding twin curved short swords, long hair and a cape of some kind, and to her surprise it was already looking at her. Seemed she hadn't been as subtle in her entrance than she had thought.

"Oh well, this just makes it easier," she said to herself as she manifested twin daggers before springing off the roof, headed directly towards the Primordial. Time to do the hard job of being a Magical Girl.

Angel Cassandra Malve

Angel hopped from building to building trying her best to catch up with Ryuko. It turns out Ryuko didn't wait for her at that moment, but instead had just jumped ahead. It wasn't shocking news too her since it wasn't the first time this happened. It seemed as though there were times where Ryuko got caught up in doing her own thing she didn't notice somethings that went on around her, at the same time it seemed as though she noticed almost everything. It was rare that Angel was able to get away with something without Ryuko noticing.

She managed to catch up to her as she stopped at the building. Hearing that the primordials were going to be attacking, she sighed. It wasn't anything new but still was considered a pain. "Okay." She said grimly, but added half of a playful smile at the end. "Seems like they never take a break."

She shrugged as she reached to one of her potion viles. She uncapped it and took a sniff making sure it was the right one. She then handed it to Ryuko. "Tired?" She asked. She knew that it was always best to go out onto the battlefield awake. "Its a potion I made last night, I assumed it would come in handy. All you need is a sip and it will make you feel more energised then before, and less tired." She said.

She raised an eyebrow slightly confused as she said that potion magic. "hmm..." She said raising an eyebrow about it. Potion magic? She didn't remember anything about what she was suppose to brew up. She hesitated a moment as she tapped her figure on her leg before she asked. "What was I suppose to make again?"

She raised an eyebrow as she heard Ryuko say, 'Oh hell no.' She imediatly knew what ever she was saying this to was not a good thing. "What?" She asked alarmed, but before the question was answered she ran up to the edge of the building and looked down at the train station and saw the answer for herself.

She turned to her head to the side she eyed Ryuko as she had gave the order. They were lose and simple which as she learned was a good sign that there would be a lot of chaos. Then of course for long, thought out plans there was always a chance for mistakes.

Angel took a step back from the ridge as she took out a few empty glass viles. She stuffed a few ingredients inside them and then ran towards the ledge and jumped off the building and onto the train track. She landed on her knees and quickly stood to her feet, racing towards the tracks. Moving as quick as she could, she tried to help those who had fallen back up before the train came. With the help of a few people she managed to save a most of the few who had fallen or at least she thought.

She saw the train coming and with all the effort she had she pushed up one of the civilions. She didn't worry about there injuries. The other had made it up himself and most of the croud were backing up from the railroad. Turning around she realized how close the train was to her and quickly climbed the side and rolled away from it.

She thought she managed to save most of them but in a dizzy mess she realized that there was more on the other parts of the railroad. There would of been way to many for her to save alone, but she couldn't help feeling guilty. She sat up and watched for the split moment of them being ran over. She shouted, "No!", covering her mouth with her hand.

Yukino Okajima

Hindsight was twenty/twenty, or so the turn of phrase goes. At the time of her departure Yukino had thought her time was best spent heading towards the bridge so she could make use of the open space and the verticality that the high wires afforded, but things had changed. Finding that the majority of the Order and Hero Brigade had scattered towards her destination as well as the train station, Yukino choose to go with a change of tact. With so many magical girls already heading to two hotspots, Yukino changed course to follow after the solitary Mitsuki as they made her way towards the downtown.

Perhaps not the most agile of mahou shoujo, it was still easy for her to convey herself across the city even if she wasn't as fast as Yuna and Erika. The fibrous stalks along her back wound themselves together into a pair as thick as her waist and flung her into the air with great force, only to swing or launch off of whatever surface she could find whilst hurling herself across the city. Abrasive snow bodily slammed into her waif like form, the speeds with which she travelled only hastening the inclement weather's assault upon her, but clad in the raiment of a proper magical girl -which ironically for her was more fitting for a school uniform, a luxury she had not known and likely never would given her occupation- she could brush aside these concerns in order to hunt the primordial threat.

In no time flat Yukino had arrived at the down town area, falling from above with a mostly unobstructed view of the calamity that had befallen the motorists here thanks in no small part to the primordial threat among them. She had also spotted Mitsuki in the process of descending upon a primordial whose attention she has captured, and while it would have been well within her power to assist her she didn't want to surprise the mahou shoujo while she was otherwise engaged in combat. After all, she had thought that no one else had come to join her.

Instead the Green Thumbed mahou shoujo found her own primordial threat, a creature dragging along a massive Warhammer between the rows of stalling cars. Its weapon managed to tear a furrow in the concrete as it went while the body was enshrouded in a bulbous mockery of knightly armor. "You will torment this city no more!"

Bouncing off a high rise Yukino descended upon the lumbering club wielder with her stalks brought forward as though to crush the creature. From the stalks ends emerged the rounded tips of seeds that barely fit inside, aiming at the primordial who jerkily turned towards its adversary, before releasing the projectiles ahead of her to slam into their armored target. Upon contact they would grow within seconds into a gnarled mess of creeper vines that would crush the primordial like a tin can.

The battle had been joined, but would the two of them be enough to handle what was to come?

Yuna & Erika

"Do you feel that too, Haku? Something is very out of the normal. I just don't know what." Yuna said to Haku as they arrived on the Bridge a few moments after Akame. "Even then, I feel like something bad is going to happen soon." The Icy Magical Girl said as she used her spear to assist in a jump, vaulting over Akame's head and hitting the collarbone of Primordial threatening the Heroes' Brigade's leader. Even though the monster didn't had any bones to break, Yuna's kick made it buckle under the force, falling to its knees. As Yuna finished her jump, she back flipped and gave locked gazes with Haku before landing behind the Primordial's back, already trusting her spear at the monster's heart.

Meanwhile, the other girls that where headed to the Bridge, after Yuna and Haku, as well as Mitsuki would be the first ones to notice something really wrong, a sensation very much like the one Yuna had just a moment ago. Actually, for Mitsuki who was close enough, it was the same as feeling a cold steel blade being jammed into her stomach. Something bad was about to happen, but what and when? As if to testify it, a flood of negative energy coming from the people stuck on traffic, under the snow, when all they wanted is go back home or drink their woes out during the ensuing happy hour, acted as a magnet, attracting a huge mass of Primordials to the downtown.

Would this ever have an end?

* * *

Back at the bridge, a voice echoing from the top of the steel arcs said, "That's not wrong, Akame. But exposing yourself because of a disappointment is." Erika said, a second before the road behind Akame exploded as if being carpet bombed by Erika, obliterating a Primordial that tried to creep on Akame from behind.

"Either way, what's happening here, Akame? I feel a terrible foreboding through the whole city." Erika asked, adding more evidence to whatever thing Yuna have been feeling for the last few minutes.

* * *

At the train station, the efforts of Ryuko and Angel helped ease the things, but with four other Primordials to cause mayhem, the outcome was only lessened to a minor tragedy. Right before their eyes, one person was overran by the train, after being pushed by a commotion born of Ryuko's hammer strikes startling the people who couldn't see the origin of the explosions and a couple of Primordials pushing them.

Somehow the woman's bag, along with her severed arm, landed right by Angel's feet. Among the pool of blood stained papers one could easily the names of many students, including Angela herself. Apparently, the only person she couldn't save was exactly the teacher she had trash talked an hour or so ago. Fate could certainly be cruel sometimes, the poor teacher died a bitter dead and was even now becoming food to the primordial which fed on the remains crushed by the train. Twenty six years, unmarried, virgin and unloved even by the students she dedicated herself to, well... such is life.

But there was no time for mourning, or shock. A Primordial holding a wicked looking axe had just moved behind Angel and was ready to decapitate her if the magical girl didn't reacted fast. What would they do now?

Ryuko Ishiniwa

Ryuko was grateful for having Angel with her, even if she did refuse the revitalizing potion; having had a taste of her tonics previously, she knew hoe much kick they had to them, and the exuberant girl could imagine herself becoming dependent on the drinks. Still, she knew that at the moment rescuing the civilians was the top priority, and Ryuko felt like she could take on the Primordials without the additional boost, as she smashed one to the ground, leaving it a crumbled mess before it faded away.

For a moment Ryuko felt joy at the prospect that she could fight and prevent death, maybe saving another little girl's brother in the process. But it was in this joy that Ryuko found herself hearing the train whistle blow, and when she turned her eyes she could only see the blood that appeared in her hands; the shockwave from her attack coupled with the efforts of murderous monsters sent an innocent down in the path of the speeding vehicle. She reached out her hand in vain to Angel, trying to scream, but her voice was drowned out by the sound of bones crunching and the train grinding to a halt.

In the aftermath, she saw the shock in Angel's face, knowing she was not to blame; it was her fault for acting like her usual aggressive self, oblivious to her surroundings. Then, she saw how despite the tragedy, the Primordials gave no moment of mercy, as a wielder of a large weapon just like herself encroached upon her junior. However, as Ryuko's despair began to encroach upon her, a more primal emotion surfaced, one taught to her by her late brother; pure fury. "IIIIAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGHGHHHH! Hoisting her hammer up in a mighty stance, she activated the hammer's engine, and threw the weapon at the dirty coward, sending it spinning with incredible velocity, turning it to a bright wheel of pure destruction that demolished the opponent. Ryuko then dashed across the floor with a new hammer summoned in her hands, running straight at the remaining Primordials with nothing but burning rage in her eyes. "You'll pay for this, you damn bastards!"

Looking back at the sudden outcry, Mitsuki was surprised to find that someone had come with her after all, even if she arrived a bit late. If she didn't miss her guess, it was even someone from the Hero Brigade. Well then, it looked like her efforts to try and spark friendship and cooperation between the groups had met with some fruit after all. Just as she had hoped.

There were other things to focus on though as she was suddenly struck, brow furrowing as she practically doubled over with a grunt of pain. "Wha-What is this," she panted in confusion. This was just a sense of foreboding, this was like being stabbed, or shot. Something was going to happen, and she didn't know what it was.

"We have to finish this up quick," she spat to herself as she recovered. There was no other choice.

She didn't have the chance to say anything more though as the Primrodial was on her, grinning as it slashed with dual blades. Steel clashed and sent sparks ringing through the air in the initial confrontation, the two scouting each other out as they battled. After a few moments they broke apart, skidding back and sizing each other up as they prepared for the next round. Daggers twirled in an idle grip as Mitsuki made sure her companion was doing alright.

Yet she did not anticipate the blades singing in, slamming where she had been standing but a moment prior. And it seemed the Primordial had more where those came from, emitting a silent laugh as she hurled blade after blade at the Mahou Shoujo.

This situation was not one that could be maintained for a long time, not if Mitsuki actually wanted to win. She had to go for it and so she did, springing forward to close the distance rather than allow herself to be pelted from far away. At the same time she threw out an illusion, an afterimage to throw the Primordial off. Her blades slashed even as the Primordial ducked back, still grinning even as it dodged.

The two moved quickly, darting about the intersection as they met in brief clashes before breaking apart, spinning and striking blow after blow. This would definitely be a fight to watch, as the two went at it with a vengeance.

~Akame and Haku~

At the train station, the Primordial with the overtly large scissors for blades was much too busy scouring the ground to take heed of the two Magical Girls that had arrived on the scene. This allowed Angel and Ryuko the time they needed to save the hapless victims of the attack, pushing them out of the way of the train’s oncoming approach. But it would ultimately not be enough.

The sound of flesh being torn asunder and the despair that followed right after brought the Primordial’s attention to its sworn enemies at last. And seeing the Magical Girls, it gave a haunting screech before charging right for the downed Angel. No sooner did it raise its blade to strike her down did it find itself skewered upon Ryuko’s rocketed hammer, blown away.

Crashing along the ground in a heap of steam and black fluids that could only be described as blood, the Primordial was far from killed. Instead it was enraged, messily tearing Ryuko’s hammer out of it and subsequently spilling more of its life fluids onto the ground. As the hammer-wielding Magical Girl began her rampage, the scissor Primordial howled once more before lunging at her, its body spinning like a buzzaw.

At the bridge, Haku have a grunt to confirm that she did feel a tinge unnerved by this whole scenario. Something was amiss, yes, but now was not the time to give in to their superstitions. Yuna of all people should have known that actions spoke louder than words. That was why she nodded to the ice-user’s gaze before dashing quick as a flash to stab the Primordial from the front side with the tip of her spear. The monster have a guttural scream of pain soon followed by the tell-tale surge of electricity coursing through its body. Haku activated her magic to put large volts into the enemy and keep it contained.

“Big S-Sister? Is that you?” Akame whispered, her body trembling all over. She was rooted in place to the point where not even Erika’s explosive entrance would waver her. Maybe Haku was much too steel-minded to feel it, but Akame could sense the massive amount of negative energy gathering into the air before it all collapsed in on itself.

“Something just happened. Something horrible,” she said, looking up at Erika with scared eyes. And then the Primordial they were facing began to screech once more, forcing her to turn. It howled with rage, grasping the end of both Haku and Yuna’s spears before ripping the tips out of its flesh.

Haku stumbled back, caught off guard and reeling from that counter blow. It would be too late because the Primordial was on her in an instant. She gasped as the creature grabbed first her and then Yuna by the face before slamming them right into the ground and stomping its heels over their heads. At that moment, Akame noticed that Sakiko had finally arrived to the action.

Yukino Okajima

Yukino's attack had gone off without a hitch, the seeds striking the lumbering figure as they were intended and sprouting the kinds of vines which would strangle the life from trees hundreds of years old. There was a horrid squelching sound that rang through the air as the Primordial was crushed into an unrecognizable mess of metal that seeped black ichor from rent plates of armor. The hammer blow of Yukino's stalks when she finally came to crash upon the earth was unnecessary, but with foes as durable as these it didn't hurt to be careful by leaving only a blackened disk embedded into the concrete where once stood a foe.

It wasn't pretty, or really all that 'magical' looking in execution, but Yukino was grateful her skill set was thorough in eliminating Primordials as opposed to some who could run them through with a sword or spear only to be attacked by the still struggling creature. Speaking of struggling...

"Ah, Mi-Mitsuki!" Yukino called out, momentarily flubbing the name out of unfamiliarity. A stalk grew another seed and quickly lobbed it towards the magical girl still in the midst of conflict with a foe who seemed to hold the advantage in terms of armaments. The projectile went were the junior of the magical girls had intended it too, right behind the Primordial. Rather then spawning a mass of vines that could have very well been cut in a flurry of blades, this created two leaves with disturbingly sharp 'teeth' along the edges, a more weaponized Venus Flytrap that looked capable of holding an elephant in its grasp. "Push it back!"

Sakiko Akazawa

The path leading up to Sakiko’s destination had been littered with obstacles, distractions, and annoyances; no matter what she did it felt like she was so much slower than she actually was and for someone of Sakiko’s disposition it was something that was infuriatingly frustrating. As if the “meeting” didn’t waste enough time, here she was trying to race to the bridge to aid in taking care of the pertinent situation and not keeping up with her peers at all. Even with her channeling her divine energy into her body to boost her speed and agility didn’t seem to be enough to even catch up with Yukino Okajima, who had ignored her and somehow blasted ahead. She wasn’t sure if it was just the rush of priorities that took precedence or if this was another factor of another petty rivalry due to their difference of factions— but Sakiko didn’t care. Her purpose was for purging and purifying and even if the primordials kept spawning in her path to push her away it would not stop her.

At this point she was only a few steps back from the bridge she was heading to as she pushed herself forward.

Sakiko’s irritated frown turned into a scowl as the visage of the primordial presence became apparent upon her arrival. The primordial had gained some sort of upper hand against her peers, but as far as she was concerned it was going to be a brief victory at best. Knowing she had arrived in a timely manner and it was now time to get to work.

Not today.

In a hue of gold Sakiko’s bow shone brightly as the blonde-haired magical girl took aim quickly. The wicked spirit of the primordial would not win out today or tomorrow— not as long as Sakiko lived. Her brows narrowed more as her teeth clicked together as her energy allowed her bow's volatile bolt of energy to grow in size. The philosophy of The Order did not allow weakness and indecision.

“Not today!” She repeated, this time the words shouting from her lips as she released the energy.

As the divine energy released it split into several arrow-like arcs— a razor-sharp volley that would hopefully tear into the primordial and release her allies from harm. She had used the technique many times before on singular and mob-based enemies, so it would not be an experiment by any means. She couldn’t afford to try out new techniques when other mahou shojo’s lives hung in the balance.

“Be punished for your sins, creature!”

While Mitsuki was dimly aware about what Yukino was doing at the moment, she was a tad more preoccupied with her own fight since it did serve to be a greater draw on her attention. Still, what she was enough to leave her reassured her her companion could handle herself, and might not be the best person to go against directly in a fight. Fortunately the Hero Brigade and the Order had never had a serious battle, and whether she could do that to another human was a far different story.

For the moment though her fight went on unabated. She leapt and dived, quick on her heels as she moved forward and the Primordial fell back, pelting her with swords which she deflected or simply avoided. their blades met and separated, sending sparks across the field of battle as the sound of their collision echoed in the void that only they could hear.

"Come on, is that all you have," she spat at the Primordial, hurling her own daggers at the black being as it let out a guttural yet mocking laugh and sprang away. New ones immediately formed in her hands to be thrown or used as she followed, tracking her target. It was all she could do to keep civilians from being drawn into the mix and making this situation even worse than it was already, but she did her best.

Then Yukino acted, calling out to her as her surprise unfolded. Mitsuki's eyes widened before she nodded in determination, acting in accordance with the plan. Daggers flew through the air, rapidly followed by her in turn to meet the Primordial when it dodged the projectiles. A few brief clashes as they fought for the initiative before she struck, using her powers to cause the Primordial to misjudge a block so she could land a hit. That elicited a cry of pain and anger from the caped being in protest, which she ignored as she broke away with a kick that would send it stumbling towards Yukino's surprise.

"Game over," she said with a certain smile.
