@malmshodes Just the generalities of your abilities. Something simple like Fire Magic doesn't need to be explained that much unless there's some sort of quirk with the type of Fire Magic that you want your character to use.

Abilities and skills- So, I understand that people can't simply start out overpowered, but considering multiverse and A/M elements, I'm a bit curious what the state of magic and tech is in the setting.

Mutations- Its more of a question relating to starting gear, but say someone had a prosthetic limb when they died...

You can start of with whatever you want, as long as you don't go overboard. So a prostethic limb? You could turn it into Automail, an arm of a demon, basic cybernetics, or a regular old arm. Just get creative. :)

I guess my last question is about character race. Humanoid forms, or (from what you mentioned with the demon arm) everything from goo girls to centaurs?

Yeah, you can go with whichever race, just match your ability with it. I mean, if you have a strange physique and that grants you unique abilities, that's gonna be your ability by default.

Having someone from a tribe of peopel with four arms wouldn't be counted as an ability, but if you become a slime girl and you have damage reduction, increase regeneration, and the like, then that would be considered your ability.

Name: Echo Kaiser
Age: 24

Appearance

This is basically what he looks like now at the start of this new world. A few mutations occured where he now only has two fingers and a thumb on each hand and he only has two toes. His flesh appears to be greyish, but he is covered in a type of whitish armor. He can only see between the joints where the armor separates. The armor doesn't come off and doesn't restrict his movements or flexibility. He also has glowing eyes and has found himself to be mute now.

History: Echo worked in the Navy as a sonar technician in Wasington. Fixing sonar was great, but he was getting tired of it and was going to leave after his enlistment was up in another year. He wanted to try his hand at a degree in software engineering again, but he got mugged one night. He had been taking some mma classes for quite a while and was feeling rather tough that night. He managed to hospitalize the other four guys, but at the expense of a lot of hits. Ignoring the pain and rage fighting worked until they all dropped, then the adrenaline stopped and he dropped too. Ignoring the internal hemorrhaging, cracked ribs and brain contusions wasn't a good idea, and now he finds himself in a new world.

Personality: Echo was a pretty easygoing guy who got along with just about everyone. He was very open to trying new things and made friends easily this way no matter where he went. He was very logical and calm as well. He was pretty funny and outgoing, athletic and smart, not in any amazing ways though.

Abilities: All he can do for now is summon a white whisp. It runs away and dissipates if he doesn't keep it in his lantern. Extreme senses, heightened strength.

Skills: Not much.

Inventory: A lantern, a mask with three eyes and a door. (Part of his abilities, they'll be evolving with him, I'd like to get them pretty quickly.)

Jynmi Imsar

Name: Jynmi Imsar .
Age: 17
Appearance:Jynmi used to stand 5'11, with a round physique. His eyes were light brown and his hair was black, curly, long, and usually done up in a pony tail, or in his case a rabbit tail. His skin was medium bronze. Now, however he's pale as an albino with violet colored eyes and short paper white hair. He's also lost a lot of height, about 7 inches worth and he's gained a wiry physique.

History: Jynmi grew up the city of El paso Tx. He was born there, went to school there, got a job there, and as far as he knows died some kind of horrible violent death there. It's hard to tell. All he remembered his sitting on the john and then a big piece of metal with lights broke through the wall.

Personality: Jynmi is a classic INFJ personality type. That is to say, he has the potential to get along with lots of people, thanks to a combination of strong intuition, and high level of empathy, but that being said he has a limit to the amount of social interactions he can stand before he becomes drained and needs alone time. He's an avid reader, devouring a little bit of everything, and enjoys writing. Actually, before whatever happened to him happened he had hopes of one day making it as a novelist. His loves animals, and tends to put them over human beings. He's also extremely liberal.

Abilities: Jynmi can form a white aura which surrounds him like a suit of soft armor. He can manipulate the aura to increase defense in specific areas.
(The aura isn't actually his spirit, but the manifestation of a parasitic spiritual being which has latched onto his soul and exist there in a symbiotic relationship. Think of it as a cross between the symbiotes(Marvel universe) and the Asauchi(Bleach) which will evolve as it becomes closer to Jynmi.

Name: Michael Anderson

Appearance: Pretty much this

History: Michael was ridiculed by many people for his nerdy life style. It was not helped by the fact that he was a fan of old 2000s dubbed animes. However, at least one person liked him for his quirky quality. A girl who he had tutored throughout the school year. However, on the day that she would confess her love to him, a car began to swerve out of control at the school. The girl tried to sacrifice herself to save him, but by the time she tackled Michael, he was already hit by the full force of the car. He only had a few moments to hear that she loved him before he died, not even having a chance to accept or reject her feelings.
Personality: He's, typically, a nerdy social loser who people only like because they need him for math. However, he's not a nerd for science or algebra, but rather history and astronomy. He practically gushes over history lessons whenever he gets the chance to hear them, enjoys to gaze upon the stars and study them, and has a secret guilty pleasure over professional wrestling.
