I agree with @Angel Eyes, picking roommates that would cause fun situations would be nice. But I'm fine with anything.
@AbandonedIntel We're still very much accepting :)
@HushedWhispers My opinion on the matter is to make things easy by assorting them based on who we believe would be interesting rooming together - plus there's an allure with random pairings
@HushedWhispers@lovely complex It's been about a day since I posted this, so I wanted to make sure that you saw it. Sorry if I'm being obnoxious, just looking forward to joining this RP!Jackson Hunt

Jack is the type who never really smiles unless surrounded by good friends or bad puns. He generally has a much more neutral expression, although some have been known to call it a "resting b**** face." He is about 6'5". His daily attire normally consists of a button-down shirt and a pair of blue jeans, generally with whatever shoes are closest to his bed when he wakes up. He is also currently attempting to get a tan.

Jackson is generally a bit of an outsider in most social groups, the sort of person who everyone knows but just barely. He has a few close friends who he is quick to confide in on most issues, and his trust is hard to earn, but also generally hard to lose. He believes that no matter what, everyone has good and evil within them, and they need to work to embrace the good side of them. He also is a firm believer that even if you make a mistake, you should always be given another chance.
Alongside these beliefs, he thinks that there should truly be no difference between villains and heroes, but he also knows how to play the game. As long as he is given the choice, he will identify as a hero, if only to keep others from seeing him as wrong. He thinks that if schools like Delphina didn't encourage students to work against the law, then all powered people would be able to coexist among themselves and among the nonpowered society.
Abilities
Countdown has the ability to slow down time and, although it takes more effort, he can stop time altogether for short periods of time. He can either slow down or stop his perception of time, or he can use his abilities to "trap" others in time as well. He can also mess with people's watches or clocks, for some reason.
Limitations
His abilities to slow and stop time are both determined by his will and physical strength. The fact of the matter is that these abilities go against everything that we know of quantum physics, so it takes a lot of effort to control them. His ability to mess with clocks, however, has no limit that he has observed.

Neither of his parents have any sort of powers, nor did they know that Jack had him until he left for Mayweather.
History
When Jack was born, he lived in an absolutely normal family with no trace of supernatural powers. If the idea had ever been suggested to him, he would've likely scoffed at the notion. Throughout his years of elementary and middle school, he was an average student and made friends relatively easily, all without knowledge of his abilities. One day, however, he was talking to a junior girl, who just so happened to be the quarterback of his high school's football team. When the muscular man tried to fight him, Jack stumbled upon his ability: he could slow down time! Using his newfound ability, he gave the quarterback a humiliation that he would never forget. He continued to study this ability, although he made sure not to tell anyone, not even his parents.
As he slowly evolved his ability, he also became more and more withdrawn. He was afraid that if he told anyone, they would say he was crazy or ship him off to some science lab to be studied. Eventually, his friends became his ridiculers, as he was pulled away from them by his own sense of paranoia. Of course, this all eventually changed. One day, his class was taking a field trip to the Grand Canyon, and his former friends were roughhousing, as they usually did. Unfortunately, one of them shoved too hard and pushed a student he knew, Dylan, over the edge of the cliff. Jack suddenly shouted out in panic until he saw that everyone, and everything had gone silent. This was the first time he had ever stopped time completely. With this in mind, he saw that he had a choice: he could either pull Dylan back onto the cliff and expose his ability, or let him fall and keep the secret. That was when he made the only choice that he still regrets to this day, the one thing that he has never told anyone.
The ambulances arrived quickly afterwards. They had to use a helicopter to get his body from the bottom of the canyon; Jack overheard the paramedics say that the student was dead upon impact. Afterwards, he learned that the roughhousing students who caused his fall were all in juvenile prison, and this made him feel guilty. In his opinion, he might as well have pulled the trigger. Of course, with no evidence to convict Jack, he was seen as innocent entirely. At this point, he knew that he needed to learn to control his abilities further, so that he could never let this sort of thing happen again. Through gossip and research, he learned that there were plenty of kids with abilities like his and that they went to two separate schools: one for heroes, the other for villains. In the end, he decided to apply for Mayweather, telling himself that while he may not be a hero, he would become as close to one as he could. Eventually, at the new school, he was able to somewhat open up back into his former self, able to form friendships because he no longer had to hide his powers. He thinks that Mayweather has taught him that while he may never be a true hero, he sure isn't the only one in this situation. Despite their differences, Jack is excited to meet the students from Delphina and show everyone that villains can be good and bad, just like heroes.

During her life in gangland Detroit, she's aquired a few tattoos along her back and shoulders, and a few more in prison as well. Along the back of her shoulders and the top half of her back are that of a Phoenix spreading its wings, and along her lower back are the ashes that it has risen from, the debri of the ashes scattered symmetrically on both sides, both of them forming the constellation of Aries on either side. She also has a few cigarrette burn marks along her arm, as well as a few slash wound scars along her gut and arms from fights with other criminals/prisoners. She also has a long scar along her cheek and temple, as an evaded attempt on her life in prison.

- Hard Working
- Has a Guilt Complex
Personality
Like what the above says, Carmen is a relatively intelligent, hard working and brave team player who has the capability of doing great things, but due to being raised under terrible circumstances she has grown to be antisocial, and is often detatched and prefers to stay away from other folks. Due to her run-ins with the police, as well as being imprisoned for what she calls "doing society a favor", she has a strong dislike towards authority, and will often not cooperate with rules or authority figures she sees as unreasonable (she's not stupid, so she will cooperate with rules that are common sense).
Often times in social situations, she would first be anti-social to entire groups, but when talking to one person and one person only, it's much easier to talk to her and befriend her. However, trust is earned with her, and she often doesn't hang around people until she deems them "worthy" of her trust. When it comes to situations that aren't social, like emergencies, she's normally the first one to the scene, and she will do her best to save that person/quell the threat. She's very heroic in that regard, and is normally the person who would step up to the plate during desperate situations.
She's also a smartass so expect a few snarky comments here and there. She's also open to the idea of having a boyfriend, and even though she tries to deny it, she's open to having a girlfriend as well.
Abilities
She has the ability of Super-Reflexes, which allows her to slow time somewhat (for herself only) and have those "slow-motion" moments in life at will. This allows her to dodge blows and slow-moving projectiles, aim a firearm properly and apply proper first aid at a much faster pace. As a result of this she's learned to fight much better with and without weapons than most soldiers in the US Army.
One thing that comes with that ability is slightly enhanced senses of sight and sound... she can hear and see things much farther and in much better clarity than most others can, which allows her to react in time to most incoming threats.
Limitations
However, these super reflexes do not make her faster in general, they only allow her to react much faster. She can dodge punches, but she cannot dodge bullets (though if she saw a gun pointed directly at her ahead of time, she can possibly move out of the way before the enemy pulls the trigger). She can aim a gun and compensate for its recoil, but she cannot do the impossible (I.E. dodge something where she cannot move fast enough to dodge from, like a sword at extremely close quarters).
Place Of Origin
She was originally born in San Diego (United States), but her family eventually moved to Detroit.
Family
Paco Gamero - Father, General Motors plant worker
Rosa Chavana - Mother, unemployed
Carmen is the only child of those two, and after running away from home when she was 16, she never maintained contact with them. Both of them have no abilities/powers.
History
Carmen Chavana was born under Rosa Chavana and Paco Gamero, who returned from Navy service onboard the USS Constellation shortly before her birth. When Carmen was 2 years old, Paco, who was still in a relationship with Rosa at the time, moved with his girlfriend and daughter to Detroit, as he had a cousin that worked as a second-hand manager of the General Motors Assembly plant. There, for most of her life, she grew up in Detroit. However, when she was 7, the relationship between her parents was getting strained, and from then she grew up under a drunk mother and an abusive father. Due to the nature of her family and the abuse that her mother and Carmen herself experienced from her father, she remained rather secluded and never had a chance to experience her powers (other than some instances of dodging her father's blows in some moments of slow motion, but she thought that was normal and told no one about that).
Her mother left Paco when Carmen was 12, though when they moved they moved into a small hispanic ghetto, where Rosa was able to easily purchase illegal drugs from one of the gangs that dominated the neighboorhood, as well as get "protection" in exchange, for... well... "services". Carmen, who was going to school (a rather terribly funded one at that), heard about the various gangs that ruled the area, and heard about all of the cool stuff about them that her peers talked to her about. Wanting a better life for herself, she ran away from home and hung out with one of the local hisspanic gangs that ruled the area. She was thrown into her first fight, where she had to prove her worth to the gang by fighting one of its biggest members. This is when she first learned about how special her ability was, and how she could use its advantages. Using her quick reflexes, she was able to dodge most of the man's punches and throw some of her own, and even though he didn't go down that easily, the other members were impressed and recruited her into the gang, seeing how useful she was.
From that point on, she has grown up under a false family, though some of the gang members did treat her with the love and respect of other siblings. However, when she was older, she went on a crime spree with other members, robbing stores and rival gangs. She was never caught by the police, and never identified by any of her victims. However, it wasn't until she was 17 that she found out about a child molester living in her neighboorhood, and after finding horrifying evidence when robbing his home of such acts, she murdered the man responsible when he returned home, and protected children he kidnapped until the police arrived. Due to being responsible for the murder, she was arrested and imprisoned, but was given a short sentence given the circumstances. Her sentence lasted for four years, and in that time she learned to be tougher, stronger, and studied.
Carmen was released from prison when she turned 21 after a few transfers and good behavior, and is now on parole. Hearing about the Delphina and Mayweather Academy from a fellow prisoner who used to attend Delphina, she decided to go there in hopes of starting her life over as a good woman, and to atone for her sins in the past. As part of her life mission, she had the tattoo of the Pheonix and Aries ash debri marks done in order to symbolize that she has risen from the ashes, born as a new, free bird. She's now attending the school as a freshman, and is new to the whole scene.
Extra
Due to her criminal past, she may or may not sneak in weapons, drugs or alchohol into the academy. She's trying to be good, but sometimes old habits die hard.

Terry does not have any kind of tattoo or piercings. He wants to get a least one tattoo some day but his father would kill him if he did. So for now he just has his plain skin. His skin is oddly pale even though he has lived his entire life in Los Angeles. He has spent most of his life training so he is very fit. He has the body of a runner since his powers are all about running. His clothing is generally quite simple. He prefers to wear tight fitting clothes since it it easier to run in clothes like that. He clearly is not good at choosing his own clothes since they rarely match. His glasses are more for show then anything since he can see perfectly fine without them.

Fidgets when he is standing still.

Hobbies
Running for fun: He sometimes runs without using his speed. It is relaxing to be able to enjoy the scenery.
Boxing: He isn't very good at it but he still enjoys it. Ironically, it is his foot work that is the issue. His brother taught him how to fight.
Drawing: It helps to have a relaxing hobby to fall back on.

Just like the rest of his life, Terry has two different personalities. On the outside, Terry can be quite loud and a bit annoying at times. He wants to appear that he is a regular hero. He wants to appear like he wants to be a Mayweather even though in his heart he almost feels that Delphina would be the place for him.Terry always seems to have a smile on his face or a joke on his lips even he does not want to smile. His brother taught him to always hide how he is feeling on the outside. On the inside, Terry is quiet and seems to be a bit off. Terry has a chip on his shoulder as big as boulder. He has daddy issues to the extreme.
Terry is not the brightest person of the bunch when it comes book learning. He is not the type of person to quote books or facts when he talks. It is not that he doesn't read. Terry just prefers real life to reading. His worse classes are always the ones that involve written homework.
Terry does not know where he belongs for the school. He tries to be the perfect hero but there is a dark side to him as well. Years of being looked down on tends to affect a person.
His hair color seems to match his moods. The darker the color, the darker his mood.
Abilities
Super Speed: The entire O'Brien family are capable of running much faster than a normal human being. His top speed is 700mph but that was done in the Badwater Basin in Death Valley. His common top speed is about 500 mph when he is at full strength. His super speed has raised his reflexes to be higher than that of a normal person. He can react to things faster. He cannot see the future or predict anything. His powers has caused him to be a bit stronger than the average person.
He can change his hair color whenever he wants. He believes that it was one of his mother's powers. He can only change the color. It goes from corn silk blond to jet black. It is based on his moods.
Limitations
-He needs to have some sort of friction to use his speed. Basically he cannot run on ice, oil, glass, and other slick types materials. If he comes in contact with these types of materials, he falls like a drunk giraffe on stilts.
-Using his speed requires energy. Nothing can be achieved for free you know. It takes more energy the closer he gets to full speed. If he runs out of energy, he has to rest before he can use his speed again.
Place Of Origin
Los Angeles, California
]Family
Father: Tom O'Brien
-The Streak. Current hero in LA. He never really cared for his youngest son since Tom was forced to raise another son. He usually just ignores his youngest son.
Mother: Unknown: She left Terry at the doorstep of his father's house when he was about a three years old. Terry has no idea who she is. His father never talks about her. Terry has been looking for information about her for years. All he knows is her villain name, "The Mistress".
Older Brother:Alex O'Brien
-Terry's hero. His older half brother never saw him as anything but his brother. Alex taught Terry how to use his speed and how to fight. Terry only went to Mayweather because his brother begged him to go. Alex figured it would help his younger brother if he embraced his hero side.
History
To understand Terry, you first need to look at a hero and his arch-nemesis. The hero is Thomas "The Streak" O'Brien and his nemesis The Mistress. For years the two of them fought and she tried to kill him a few different times. Every time she would fail but manage to get away every time. It helped that she could transform herself at will.
Eventually, Mistress decided to end the dance. She was able to figure out his secret identity and made a plan to kill Tom. She wanted to see the look of betrayal in his eyes as someone he loved took his life. She took the form of a made up woman named Jenny Rose. However she began to fall for the hero despite herself. After one night of passion, she vanished from Tom's life. A few months later, along came Terrance. She named him after her father. For some reason, she left her son on his father's doorstep when he was three years old.
Terry's father saw Terry as a mistake so he never really cared for his son. Terry had to learn everything for himself. His older half-brother Alex became like a father for young Terry. When Terry first got his powers around seven years old, Alex taught him how to use his powers. He taught Terry how to run and slowly convinced their father to let up on Terry. Tom still didn't care for him but now he was less hostile. Terry never really had friends since he was always a little different. He joined the school track team even though it really wasn't fair.
When Alex went to Mayweather, Terry kept training so he could some day be a hero like his brother. However, his mind always has lingered on the fact that his mother left him. There still was that villain part of him that rebelled against his father. The one thing he wants more than anything is to find his mother and ask her why she left him. That question has always bothered him and it always will. Terry figures that someday he will get the answer he wants so badly. Course there is a chance he might not like the answer he gets.
