@Hekazu, I think at this point the better question is, is if we are going this route, is he in fact dead by the time we get to him? That is more or less what is governing the entire effort.
Perfect, @Hekazu, and so in turn @Ryonara, Parum has her delayed wish. I was trying to find a way to make good use of the inspiration die you had granted and given who it was who provided it, I figured this was a fair way to reflect that.
The snide remark at the end was only for my amusement at how crazy of a request Escobert's making. Maybe it is just me, but I do not imagine any usual adventurer to be wandering around with a spell like that ready to go on moment's notice. I had to look up spells that repair things actually to see what our options even were.
Parum does have Mending, though I don't know how effective I'd be at fixing a hole in the wall or a busted door. She's need parts of the original at the very least.
@Ryonara, that's the one I found in my search, so I am assuming that is what's being discussed. It's also extremely fortuitous that she has it. I had forgotten it even existed as a cantrip.
@Ryonara On the meta side of things, Mending is in fact sufficient. Most of the door still hangs on the hinges so parts of the original structure will not be an issue. It will take more than one casting though, given the amount of damage the door has sustained. Five should be a fair amount.
Sorry for the inactivity. Holidays and work are taking all my room time. I know what I want to post but I haven't been able to sit down and get it done. I'll try to have something before the weekend.
Accounting for this, you can expect my post late tonight, perhaps in the darkest hours of tomorrow morning. I hope all of you found a way to enjoy your holiday to its fullest.
