It was raining. The type of weather that Michelle literally couldn't stand. She had wanted the sun to be out and about and brighten up her mood at least. Michelle couldn't really fathom the fact that it was really raining. She was leaned against the window seal of her home, staring out of the window as the rain pitted and patted against the glass pane then dragged itself around. A sigh escaped over her parted lips as she turned away from the sight and went into the kitchen. There was nothing to eat in the house so that means that she just had to go grocery shopping today. 'Great.' She thought to herself while going upstairs and getting ready.
Yes, she needed to look good when going to the grocery store because you never know who you were going to meet there. Michelle showered and the room absorbed the scent of Cherry Vanilla then she stepped out of the shower. She did her usual routine of doing her makeup, which she applied lightly onto her face. She tied her hair into a messy ponytail with a few strands dangling over her left eye. She reviewed herself over in the standing mirror and absolutely loved her own outfit, which was nothing more than a blue blouse with a white pair of pants and blue flats with white outlining them. Yes, she was very color coordinated.
After she had dressed herself and a nod of approval from herself, she grabbed her umbrella and purse then waltzed over to Rebecca's room, well, she had let Rebecca stay there a few nights and knocked on the door. "Going out shopping if you would like to come with. I'll wait out front but only for ten minutes. Okay?" Without waiting for a response, Michelle wandered outside and stood on her porch for a moment, staring out and seeing the hard rain drift into a light sprinkle now.
She had looked at a note placed upon her door and grabbed it, reading softly to herself. "A carnival downtown? In this weather?" She muttered then looked around to make sure no one was looking before continuing on reading. Since her and obviously Rebecca were going out, maybe checking out the carnival wouldn't be such a bad idea.
When Rebecca made her presence felt, her attention turned towards her as she held the paper out towards her. "Shall we go and see what this little carnival is all about?" She asked with a slight smirk curving among her lips as she linked her arm with hers, waiting for Rebecca's response before continuing to go any further.
