Holt was binding Silver Sorceress's spell in order to elongate the casting process so that Marie and Joseph could hopefully catch up to the people of Pax and stop her spell outright. War-Pulse wouldn't have done anything to Holt but . . .

IDEA! Since her spell was thrown off, it probably startled Holt before he had a chance to bind her spell again, but being that he is a being of magic and her sleeping spell couldn't effect him anyway, he could sort of envelope a few of the heroes and protect them from the spells effects. Who those heroes are would depend on who was closest to the blast, but that could be an interesting way to keep the fight going. Then, once White Witch rejoins the battle, she can undo the spell on her comrades and hopefully the ones Holt blocked were able to deal with whatever villains were left. How does that sound?

@fdeviant: Sorry I got the character wrong (I said Puck, but should have said Holt).

Well, besides Lyger (who was already affected by SS's spell) and Bast (who had immunity because of the Moly herb she took in an earlier story arc), I think War-Pulse, Boom, and the three characters that Boom brought with her are the only heroes left. Furthermore, the only villains left is Leo (who hasn't appeared yet, but will appear in the conclusion of mine and NMS' Lyger/Bast collab) and Doctor Diplodoc. Jaws, Black Widow, and Effigy have escaped (for future story arcs), and SS and Sumac are out for the count. But I like the idea about White Witch coming to undo the spell on those who have been affected.

Maybe we could have Holt's binding spell prevented Team Two from being affected.

Hey, guys. Wanted to drop by and say that I seem to be having some intense writer's block. Can't write a reply for the life of me, no matter how much I try it would appear.

For now, I think I need to take a break from writing here and see if my mojo comes back in time. I've loved RPing here, though. Hopefully I'll get my writing capabilities back before long.

Well, Trickster snatching her through the portal is easier, but a massive collab is more fun. We have already decided that she gets captured, but a nice big fight/argument that leads up to it might be nice. Plus, a collab will be these easiest way to get the heroes to follow White Witch and Joseph if they choose to do so.

I blanked last night when I mentioned this note to you over Skype, Fallen. We did vote on a clash and struggle before Rach is kidnapped.

And keep in mind, we're also planning to wrap this season up and begin season 2 shortly. If you are planning to use the same character for season 2, you will not have to reapply, you're character will automatically be accepted for season 2.

Also, my concept for her was that she'd acquired her powers through an experimental project to artificially create superbeings, and considering the current crisis, that might fit with the lore. Maybe my character was captured for early testing. The mad scientist had to test several prototypes of his serum on live subjects, right?

Another option, as I talked with Shard who wanted to so do something similar, was Gene Co who have a Serum upon the streets and I can adapt to create a wide range of effects. Not just animal base as proven with Bozo, an early model. This might also allow you to be connected to Cowl's organization. In Season 2, Gene Co will be taking homeless people off the street and place them into experiments to develop another enhanced soldier through various serums.
