Name: Aqua Regia.
Title: Shatter. Arctic Sorceress. Skyfall
Age: 9 Years.
Gender: Female.
Race: Machina
Allegiance: Machina Of Man.
Personality: Among the Machina, the level of personality and emotion in each Machina is typically dependent upon rank. Being a custom model, Regia is allowed a fair degree of latitude, but just like her 'Element' she can be rather subdued in her mannerisms. She is proud in her position as a leader on the field, and while she may have a near human level of self preservation, Regia is a strong proponent of the "Leading From the Front" doctrine of leadership. She instills terror into the enemy with grand displays of decimation, and is pleased to do so whenever the opportunity presents itself.
History: There is a lesser known theory among certain circles of mankind that magic could be defined as something that could replicated by technology given infinite resources and time. An act of flight would have been considered magic by a lesser developed being who was bound to the ground, so after discovering the Magic used by their foes in the Nexus, development was underway to emulate and create the Machina's own 'magic'.
An experimental unit designed to imbue the characteristics of an archetypical 'Frost Mage' in a Machina body, Aqua Regia was created to unleash the power lorded over by Sorcerers and Demons with a Machina twist. Dubbed the Elementals, Aqua Regia -The Unit prefers Regia- was one of many who each had their own specialization around their construction. They require immense resources to create even for the Machina's prodigious infrastructure, but are capable of emulating the mass destruction unleashed by the Angels. Regia utilizes Liquid Nitrogen and is authorized to function as a Field Commander in conflict.
Powers: Zone of Control: Machines function at optimal efficiency when properly cooled, and Regia is always in such a state. Releasing excess Liquid Nitrogen around her cools nearby Machina to improve performance while hampering organic beings. This provides them with unparalleled reaction times and efficiency of movement, while slowing the movement of organics regardless of faction unless insulated against it.
Flight: Internalized propulsion systems allow Regia to be capable of flight independent of the necessity for wings or external combustion.
Weapons: Multi-Purpose Rifle: Regia's primary ranged weapon is large caliber rifle easily operated one handed. It features two modes of fire that can be switched with an internalized command. The first mode is a liquid nitrogen thrower, spraying the compound in an expanding cone to freeze targets, mist, or target a large area. The alternative mode fires rivets of ice with an explosive payload to pierce, freeze, and shatter targets.
Sub-Zero: A sword of ice with a jagged edge meant primarily for piercing a target via a strong thrust. It injects the liquid nitrogen that comprises it through the edge and tip, freezing from inside out rather than from without. The blade itself is adjustable in length, able to extend to indeterminate lengths, but will lose durability the farther from the default length.
Glacial Injectors: Two tubes extending from the armor along the small of her back which are manipulated like any other limb. Each is tipped with an injector that can function like Sub-Zero, but only capable of piercing and ineffectually as a slashing implement. Can also be used to anchor Regia in place but attaching the injectors to an object.
Niffleheim: The four floating units along Regia's back, seemingly locked in their set position until used. Like the Multi-Purpose Rifle, it has two modes of operation. First being a wide area pulse that flash freezes any unprotected source of liquid into a solid mass of ice, turning lakes, spilt blood, or clouds into solid masses of ice. The Alternative mode is a cold laser which requires the four units to join together before Regia in order to fire at full power.
Equipment: Sensor Array: The headdress and horn around Regia's head, which provides Regia a complete awareness of her surroundings through a broad compliment of sensors across many spectrums.
