Sel's eyes were pushed open by the fox, so would feel herself being pushed off by an annoyed hand before rolling in the opposite direction from where the small creature was shoved. "Too ... too early ..." The mage reached for the covers and pulled them over her head as if trying to close the world out.

It seemed that the fox would have to try harder to wake her mage up properly, because it would be rather apparent to the familiar that she was already drifting back tot the realm of sleep.

The kitten partially awoke as the covers were tugged out of her arms, instinctively reaching for them. Maoin let out a long and extended yawn as she looked upwards at the dragon for a second accusingly before rolling back onto the bed and curling up slightly as the realization that an attempt to fall back asleep was futile. After a minute she rose up and rubbed her eyes before approaching with Lady Sorcha's petting reach. "... breakfast ... first ... mistress ... maybe ... pack ... food ...?" It was obvious the poor kitten denied of their cat nap was tired, but she didn't offer a vocal protest.

Of course she was expected to come along, even though she'd just be sitting on the sidelines. She'd probably be on massage duty after the fight, or maybe her owner intended to toss her into the lake again.

Luna was quite rudely awakened by the dragon. Well, it didn't help she drank just a little too much the night prior to try keeping up with Sorcha. She raised her head a bit to talk to Sorcha. "Unnnnnn. . . Sorcha, give me a bit to eat first. Can you or Maoin make something while I rest my head for a little bit? I didn't think you'd want to do this so early." Her head hurt a bit but it felt better when it heavy impacted back to her pillow. "Why didn't you stop me last night if you planned this so early. I can do a lot, but your body processes much faster than me."

Eith

"But so soft and cuddly. . ." Eith complained hugging the bunny tightly and nuzzling a little against the side of her head, before letting Miren go. "You need to do, what you need to do." The Sheallgh half-heartedly agreed as she sat up with a tired look in her eyes. It was always like that for the first ten or fifteen minutes after she woke up. "Shower?" She had to ask.

Katherine Lindall

Katherine woke up with her arms around her cat. If nothing else, she was soft and warm. As expected of a cat. She let go of the cat and sat up in bed. It was a day off. What was there to do now. . . She could start on the outfit for Meowka. Well, the one of many. She got out of bed and headed over to her workstation, planning what she would do. A group of three dolls stood on the table where she did most of the work and waited expectantly for her to give orders. "Yes, maybe I should just start with these. . . Understood?" She asked the dolls as they nodded and ran off to gather the supplies.

Mugi the Yuki-Onna

"No, that's the pointy end. That hur. . .ts. . ." Mugi muttered in her sleep. She was having a dream of the past. . . Or something. Kids and their icicle fights. Her eyes threw themselves open though, as she woke up and looked around. "Ahh. . . Cynthia's room. The last thing I remember was studying my butt off." The first thing different she noticed was the breakfast and tea. Something simple that she could enjoy. She could only assume it was for her. "What a caring dear I have." The Yuki-Onna said as she began gently eating the food. Soon though both that and the tea were gone.

"I feel refreshed now." It wasn't long after finishing her food that she noticed the note on the nightstand. Opting not to read it now, she grabbed the plate and tea cup and took them downstairs where she found her Dear working and cleaning early in the morning. "Oh, good morning Cynthia!" Mugi happily said as she made her way to the kitchen. That was where dirty dishes were put right?

~Sorcha~

"Nay, a good knight must duel even with a hangover even if you are an incredible lightweight!" Sorcha replied with a grin. "Up up up!~" The dragon perhaps, was a little overexcited for this venture. "But fine, fine," The dragon huffed impatiently. "Maoin, fix Luna something to ease her headache! I shall be on the roof, sharpening my Glaive." Without another word, the dragon quickly donned her armor and bolted out the window, glaive in hand. She was far too excited for this, but she hadn't really got to enjoy a decent brawl in a long while - she really hoped she continued to feel good through the entirety of it.

~Fox~

A small growl of protest was heard as fox was pushed off of Sel, stumbling and rolling onto her back next to the mage. With a quite huff, the fox hopped off the bed and returned to her human form. Now, how could she wake up the silly mage? She was an expert in waking people up in the most rude fashions possible...so what to do? She already doodled on her face so that was a little done for now. At least until next week.

Hmm...

Idea!~

The fox casually walked over to the other side of the bed. They'd see just how much Sel liked being rolled over off her bed.

"Master," The fox replied in a much too sweet tone. "This one insists you wake up." Before Sel could react, the fox roughly shoved the human off the edge of the bed.

~Cynthia~

"Mugi." Immediately upon entering, Cynthia made a beeline right to the Yuki-Onna. For a few seconds, she didn't do anything other than just stare before walking into the kitchen with the Ice woman and took the plate and teacup from her, placing them into a sink where she'd wash them before lunch.

"...sleep well?" She asked.

~Miren~

As soon as Eith let go, Miren yawned and sat up, hopping out of bed tiredly. Oh goodness, she really wanted to stay in longer. Eith was a bad influence, yes she was...but she was also warm and made her feel safe. More or less. When she wasn't hungry.

"Shower?..." Miren yawned again, picking up some clothes from a desk near the bed. "Mhm, yes shower..." She started slowly walking out of the bedroom and across the hallway, towards the bathroom.

Sel's return to the world of sleep was cut short as she felt herself roll onto the ground, landing onto her side with an incredible thud. The mage rubbed their now painful side, but ultimately it would be unlikely that any bruises would from the annoying but ultimately short fall. It took her a couple of moments to rub the sleep out of her eyes before looking that the black fox with a questioning look. "S-sly it's too early to play right now ..." A quick look at the window revealed she should be asleep for at least another hour as she rose to her feet. "... what do you want?"

The girl let out a tired yawn before looking over the now humanoid fox with no small degree of exhausted irritation that only a teenager could manage. A quick glance at nearby mirror let her give off a sigh of relief. Was she hungry or something?

The cat let out a sigh as Lady Sorcha hopped out of the window ready to face the day. For a few seconds Maoin simply stood there as she looked towards Luna before going into the kitchen and preparing a quick meal mostly consisting of fruits but also including two pancakes. She returned to the bedside and gave Luna's shoulder a gentle shake as she placed the food on a nearby small table along with a large glass of water. "Lady Sorcha seems ... excited today."

She had seen how much the dragon had drank and yet she seemed to have some sort of anti-hangover. "Anyways, you should eat up. If you need me to help put on your armor or anything else just give the word." The cat let off a caring smile as she would wait for the knightess to finish her meal - she herself had prepared a smaller plate of food as she worked that was already finished.

Meowka seemed slightly disturbed in her sleep as her new mistress left, but ultimately she grabbed a spare pillow and pulled it closer to herself instead, curling up slightly around it as she did so and chewing on it slightly as she rested.

Luna sat up despite herself and ate the food. She had to give Maoin one thing though, "This tastes great." The fruits of course tasted like fruit, but the pancakes had just the right amount of care put into them. . . As it were on a morning such as this. It pepped her up a bit as she strode over to her armor. I think I can manage. I think the headache will be gone once I get some fresh air outside." She put on her typical outfit and fastened her armored pieces to their rightful spots. She double checked them to be sure they'd provide adaquate protection. Sorcha was likely to hold back, but she was still a dragon. So long as she didn't use that dragon's breath as excessively as last time this might be fun.

With her armor double checked and her sword at her side, Luna looked to Maoin. "I know a nice clearing where we can fight with no one endagered aside ourselves, I suppose." She couldn't help but chuckle slightly. "I'm certain that Sorcha will notice. If you wanted to watch, feel free." With that, Luna left and headed out to a little clearing in the forest. Sorcha could still manuever in mid-air if she wanted there. It'd be a test of skill-set versus skill-set.

Eith

"Whatever a shower is, I hope it's enjoyable." Eith said with an almost questioning tone at the end. She wasn't a hundred percent sure what a shower was, but it must be something good. All she knew was it was time to get out of bed, and the best way for her to do that was to roll on her side until she feel off the side of it and straight onto the floor. With her back flat on the floor, she stared into the ceiling wonder. . . "What should I do now?"

Mugi the Yuki-Onna

Mugi was somewhat surprised by Cynthia coming straight at her in such a manner. Then just staring. She blinked a few times with a silly look on her face. Then a question. "I want to say yes, but I don't even remember going to sleep. Hehehe." The Yuki-Onna said as a joke, hoping it might make the maid smile a bit. She always had the prettiest smile, though the reason for that might just be that she rarely uses it. Even then, it was Mugi's smile. "Sorry, I didn't get a chance to read the letter I'll do that now. Don't want to miss out on anything." Since her maid-girlfriend took the dishes of her hands, it was a chance to finally read it.

~Sorcha~

As soon as Luna left the dorm and headed to the clearing, the dragon bolted after her. She landed with a force enough to cause a quiet thud, leaving an impression of her feet in the ground as she grinned over at Luna.

"Alright!~" She excitedly shouted, pointing her Glaive at Luna. "On the way over here, I had a bit of a thought." She turned her head to Maoin, who followed as she was supposed to. In her other hand...was the sword Maoin had been training with until now. With a slow motion, she pointed the Glaive at the kitten. "Maoin, I want to check your progress against another person." With a flourish, she maneuvered the sword so that the handle was pointing towards the kitten.

"How about you give Luna a little warm up, hm?"

~Fox~

"Oh? Does master not want to attend their classes today?" The fox replied. "Curious. Perhaps you finally have developed a sense of humor, too?" Of course, she conveniently left out that today wasn't exactly a day where classes were to be had. No sense in letting Sel know that. Of course, there was a chance that she'd know, but maybe in her groggy state she'd forget. Now that would be funny, heh.

~Cynthia~

Cynthia frowned slightly at the mention of Mugi not remember whether she fell asleep or not. Was she that tired from a night of studying? That was no good - she'd need more than simple crash courses, but she was busy enough as it was and the headmistress was unlikely going to just give her the time off. At the mention of the letter though, Cynthia blushed slightly and turned back to her work. It was just a simple thing, really. Nothing more than a small little...love...note. And to tell her that if she needed anything, she'd do her best to provide.

So the maid simply returned to work silently.

~Miren~

E-eh? Eith didn't know what a shower was? Did she at least know what a bath was? Oh dear, that would be terrible if she didn't. When...was the last time she bathed, then? Did she even bathe once in her life? Was this also because of that condition of hers she mentioned? The rabbit frowned, but for the most part didn't say anything. Eith said she was fine, so...she was fine. For now at least, the rabbit wouldn't say anything.

She only was in the bathroom for a few short minutes before getting dressed in her usual clothing and heading downstairs with a large book in one hand and a cup of strong coffee in another.

"Oof, I hope I get more people today..." Not that she'd particularly mind either way - wasn't like she needed the business. As long as she could budget her funds well enough, she'd have enough.

Selvina glared at the fox as she took mental notes in her mind of the date. She wouldn't have come home late the previous night if they had class this day, right?

Sly was being Sly again, she supposed. Although ... The mage had a look of realization cross her face. "No no no no no ..." Selvina put on the best panicked look she could manage as she looked at the fox with pleading eyes. "There's an extra credit test today! And - and the subject is magics involving the master familiar bond and the various ways it can be used! I'm - I'm really sorry but you're going to have to come with me for this one!"

There was actually a class about that, and she already knew the curriculum for it. She had followed the syllabus along two semesters earlier.

Maoin stepped back instinctually as the glaive was suddenly pointed at her, and then suddenly her sword handle. She blinked a couple of times as she registered what was going on.

WHAT? She - she was supposed to fight Lady Luna? A noble of the LIGHTSWORD family?! A look of obvious nervousness crossed Maoin's face. "... Y-w-wha- ..." The steely gaze on Lady Sorcha's face indicated that her partially formed confusion wouldn't be responded to with lenience. With a slightly trembling hand she gripped her sword, trying to run through the basics in her mind from the past couple weeks of training.

The only thing that entered her thoughts though were her fears however. Luna could use various magical abilities that she wasn't capable of! Wh-what was she going to do when she lost horribly and completely embarrassed herself?! She's so nice ... she took care of me. She ... she'll know how weak I really am and won't talk to me and-

She was used to getting beaten around by Lady Sorcha, but she'd gotten used to that abuse! Oh, and when she lost it would make Lady Sorcha look bad as a teacher, and then the dragoness would be upset and would ignore her in frustration. Like a scardy cat like herself deserved.

Or even worse, Lady Lightsword would choose to lose on purpose just to make her feel better. And then someone would see that and then Lady Lightsword's family would lose their entire reputation and would end up on the streets as a result and ...

"Y-yes M-mistress." The cat turned around and faced her opponent, giving Lady Lightsword a respectful curtsy.

"you want to test her?" Luna asked. "I mean, I guess it's fine as a warm-up, but if I go all out and use magic it wouldn't be a good test." Luna had forgotten that Sorcha had been training Maoin to fight, even if just a little. "So, just fight hand to hand and I think it'll be a good test then. Sorcha has your sword too." This was quite obviously all planned out.

Eith

"Ahh, wait for me." Eith said, following the bunny downstairs and finding a spot. It was a quiet morning so far. "Lunch sometime?" The Shellagh had to ask. She was always hungry, so the question should hardly be a surprise. Not too long after the store was opened, however, someone entered through the door.

Almost confusedly, the person asked, "Is there anyone here?" A woman's voice, and one Eith would remember slightly, albeit not fondly. As she rounded Eith looked at her. "Oh, it's you."

It was that woman with the staff the Eith had fought at that temple. Staff-Woman or something of the sort. Eith, of course, could not remember her name even had she wanted to. "Yes,it is." The two would simply stare at each other until Miren interrupted. It wasn't wholly unfriend but more of two rivals trying to size each other up.

Mugi the Yuki-Onna

After reading the letter, Mugi couldn't help but walk over and hug the maid quickly. "You're so cute." She couldn't help but mention it. "Still, I should go out and gather supplies for when I do start to attend classes. It's not until after this festival I've heard about, but who would want to worry about studies when the festival is going on?" She asked Cynthia. "Do you know any place good?"

~Sorcha~

Sorcha grinned, walking up behind the kitten and speaking quietly.

"Little one," She said in a reassuring tone. "Don't try and think about it too much, okay? You were trained by a dragon - dragons don't just teach anyone, you know. Be more confident in yourself. You can hold your own against me, even if I'm not being a hundred percent serious in our training duels. I don't expect you to win against a trained Knight, Maoin." She gave her a pat on the head. "So don't hesitate - that is the easiest way to lose in any confrontation. I will be proud of you regardless, Little one.

With that said, she gave Maoin a firm pat on the shoulder before walking some distance away.

~Fox~

"Oh," The fox replied, one of her ears twitching irritably. That was untrue as untrue could be. Unfortunately for Sel, that would work to her advantage. She was playing dumb here, after all - so she couldn't just admit to knowing that. Besides, who knew? It might be funny...or alternatively, with a headache. Likely the latter, knowing this insufferable mage, but she'd at least see where it went for now. "I see. That is...quite the interesting class. What are they teaching here, hm? How to make your familiars more subservient so you can do whatever you want with them? How incredibly cruel." She scoffed. "I suppose it would be entertaining to watch the other familiars squirm, though." She chuckled. "I suppose I shall accompany you, then." She gave Sel a glare as she continued. "But if you try anything funny, I will be sending you on a one-way trip to Yomi with the most painful death curse I can possibly imagine."

~Cynthia~

For supplies? Ignoring the blush across her face at being called cute, Cynthia ran through a mental checklist of all the stores in the city - yes she knew every single one, where it was located, the shortest path to get there, and the best prices to buy something at which store. She didn't know what classes Mugi would be attending exactly...so she should probably ask.

"What classes?" She asked the Yuki-Onna. Hopefully she actually talked about that with Livia instead of just letting the headmistress handle all of the paperwork herself. Sappho didn't exactly have a set curriculum for its students, after all. The students picked which classes they wanted to attend, and then attended them and hopefully did well.

....actually, knowing Mugi and the headmistress, the headmistress didn't talk about that with Mugi at all.

"...did you talk with the headmistress about them?"

~Miren~

Ah! A customer!~

Miren bounced over to where Eith and Kozue had met. Upon hopping over though, the rabbit paused as a clearly threatening and oppressive aura washed over the area.

"E-eh?..." What was with this threatening atmosphere? Oh dear oh dear...her bunny instincts were telling her to get lost and vacate the premises, find the deepest hole to find and stay there until whatever this was, was over with. Still, this was her store and she had a job to do! She couldn't let bad customer service get the best of her! She wouldn't allow it. So the rabbit swallowed her fear, and tried speaking.

Key word, try.

"E-erm...H-hello! Y-yes, someone is h-here! M-meaning, erm, me, the owner, heh, but you probably knew that, erm..." Okay Miren deep breath. She inhaled, followed by exhaling. "E-eith...i-is this a friend of yours?"

Please say yes and say this overly tension filled atmosphere was just her imagination.

Sel gave the fox an apologetic look. "Well you see, it involves theories regarding the relationship of the appearance a familiar wears and the possibility they weaken or strengthen the bond." The mage looked down towards the ground. "I know it's a lot to ask for Sly, but could you turn into a cat maid again? It's extremely valuable for this project, considering that your appearance changes are more effective than most ... come on Sly, no one will even know it is you!" Selvina pleaded a little bit at this point.

Of course, she knew that the fox knew that this was utter garbage. But the fox wouldn't be able to go back on her prior statements about class.

And besides, she had been woken up early. The fox deserved this, since she hadn't seemed to do this aside from any other reason but being rude.

Maoin felt herself seize up as Luna wanted to continue the duel, but her head turned slightly as she heard Lady Sorcha move closer behind her and spoke. She HAD been trained by a dragon, hadn't she? Maybe she wasn't the best student but ... the kitten felt a little weight leave her shoulders as the pettings followed for a couple of seconds. The dragon had reasonable expectations and hadn't abandoned her for what she'd done so far - it was unlikely she would suddenly change her mind.

The lack of magic in the fight also helped her calm down, and Luna would begin to see the cat moving in a wide circle around her as it was obvious she was ready to begin this fight, short sword held out and ready as she gave a more controlled nod towards her opponent as a serious look crossed her face.

She'd at least try to earn that pride and be a good kitten. If she lost she'd just treat Lady Sorcha to a massage as an apology, wouldn't she? Lady Sorcha would at least feel relaxed then.

Lunalel Lightsword

"Sorry if I knock you on your rear a couple of times." Luna said with a slight smile as she unsheathed her sword and swung it a few times to get a feel for it. She closed her eyes as her smile slowly disappeared and was replaced with a stoic expression. "Now then, let us see how much of a match you are for the daughter of the Lightsword house. Now first, can you pierce my defense?" Luna said, eyes rapidly examining Maoin to see what her first move would be. She wanted a feel for her opponent before diving into danger.

Eith and Kozue Komichi

"No." Both Kozue and Eith said, simultaneously before looking back at each other for a second before Kozue decided to break it and direct her gaze toward Miren. "Apologies. The beast and I had a close encounter due to the task her and those other outsiders were sent on. Whilst I should be thanking her, I cannot help but feel animosity toward her." Kozue felt no need to bring up her dislike of demons or those closely related to them. [color=tan]"Regardless, I came here out of curiosity. I have the soul of a weakened fox inside of me. I wanted to know if you have any literature regarding said subject.

Eith meanwhile, sat off to the side. She didn't have any hate or animosity for this staff person, however, she was strong and quite fun to fight. Still, the Shellagh sat off to the side, barely listening to a word the woman had said.

Mugi the Yuki-Onna

"Classes?" Mugi replied, unsure of what she would have taken. That would be figured out . . . Didn't schools have some like, "The, uhhh, required ones?" She had no real idea what she would take, that much was for sure. "That will. . . Sort itself out. Right?" She said in reply to her own questions. Actually, she didn't even know what classes she would take. She sort of just wanted to be a part of the party in her own way.

~Sorcha~

"Have fun you too!~" Sorcha grinned happily from the sidelines, watching with anticipation. She had confidence in the kitten, even if the kitten didn't have it in herself. Even of she lost - that wasn't something to be disappointed about.

~Fox~

Wordlessly, the fox turned into a perfect copy of Maoin once again...minus the actual maid costume. If Sel wanted her to have that, she'd have to buy it herself.

"I hope you have a maid uniform if that is what you would like me to wear." She replied.
"But I can already tell you that such a study is pointless and absolutely silly." She scoffed.
"Whoever made such a ridiculous theory should be ashamed of their own foolishness. It's almost funny, really." She chuckled. "But lets see then, hmm? Is there anything else you would like to request me turning into? Ones appearance does not strengthen or weaken anything. But I would say that you are taking quite the risk, my oh so courteous master, in possibly letting me know what appearance could be used to weaken this little...leash you have me by." With a small sigh, she continued. "I would ask if you trust this one, but I doubt you do. So lead the way then, my ever so gracious master."

~Cynthia~

"...I love you," Cynthia said, reaching a hand out and patting Mugi on the head. "But your intelligence leaves much to be desired." She didn't mean that in a bad way, definitely not! Though, it could have definitely came off as that way but she didn't think Mugi would take it badly. Without a word to clarify what she meant, the maid stopped what she was doing and headed upstairs to the headmistress' office. Without even knocking, she walked in, Livia was sitting behind her desk, quite surprised to see Cynthia walk in so forcefully.

"...Livia." Cynthia coolly said as she stood in front of her desk. "Mugi. What classes?"

"Oh?" Livia chuckled. "Whatever do you mean, dear?" Cynthia didn't reply, and instead leaned slightly over the desk, supporting her weight with her arms. "I can assure you, I have not enrolled her in any questionable classes." Cynthia simply narrowed her eyes at her again. "Okay okay fine," Livia sighed, reaching into a drawer in her desk and handing a stack of paper to Cynthia. "Fill this out yourself if you must." Cynthia took the papers, going through a few of them before giving the headmistress a cold glare.

"Tsk, you're no fun any more..." Livia sighed. Maybe she should invest in a new maid.

"Apologies for the interruption." With that, the maid turned to leave the room and head back to Mugi.

~Miren~

So...not friends then. Oh dear. Her little bunny bun heart was getting a bit more worried now.

"E-erm, r-right." Okay Miren, calm down. You've dealt with worse then Eith and a human before. The rabbit listened closely to Kozue despite obviously being nervous. A spirit? Was she...possessed? If so, it didn't seem to be malevolent if the person wanted to help it. Curious, then. "I-I see..." Miren hummed quietly to herself. Books regarding possession and spirits were something she had in abundance.

"Judging from both your attire and accent you come from eastern lands, don't you?" Miren commented offhandedly. "I've been there before, you know! The headmistress wanted me to investigate some old legends there once, heh." She chuckled sheepishly. "B-but right, erm...spirit. What sort of spirit is it? You mentioned a fox?"

Selvina rubbed her chin. Theoretically, having the maid costume or not could help confirm the hypothesis in truth. Obviously they were only measuring extremely minute differences in the bond, the sort that only tools could actually manage to detect. The theory itself suggested no true practical purpose. "Well we could always stop by the store then. It could actually be essential to the study to test if it is the physical item itself or the appearance of the item to the world ..." The mage forced herself to pause for a second as she thought, and it would be clear to the fox that she was also actually deep in thought.

"Besides, you should have something else to wear in case you decide to disguise yourself ..." The wizard looked at the fox for a couple more seconds. "Alright, could you change your appearance to that of a slightly different cat girl? This is starting to bother me."

And if they ran into Lady Gwynn, it would be incredibly awkward.

Maoin looked at Lady Luna's armor with a frown - although the gloves were metal, the sword's crossguard protected her hands. And the majority of her body was covered by various pieces of ornate metal, although the cat didn't know what they were all called. That meant only the woman's face was open in front of her.

With a frown the cat took an experimental lunge towards Lady Lightsword's face, trying to see how she'd defend herself before jumping immediately back to their original distance. She'd have to use her speed in this one but the duel couldn't last forever - she was fairly sure the knightess would outlast her.

The phoenix looked up from her spot by Livia's desk as Cynthia barged in, the maid talking about Mugi's classes demandingly before running away herself. As the woman left the room Fia recalled the massage she had received the previous day. She'd have to ask for one again, wouldn't she? That had probably been the most pleasant experience in her life, after all. Maybe if she was lucky it could be a daily thing?

That would probably annoy Cynthia though. Fia wasn't exactly sure about that. She also wasn't exactly sure what the thing following Livia around was ... she'd seen a few things around the mansion since the morning ... outlines in a way, shifting around and glowing slightly like as if they were stars. If her eyes weren't so perceptive she wouldn't have been able to see them, and she wasn't sure if anyone else would be able to.

A few bookshelves had the outlines around a couple of books, along with some of the drawers to Livia's desk. Even a square portion of a carpet had been lit. But the strangest ones were the slightly humanoid ones that constantly floated around the mansion - and of course the massive one directly in front of her as she sat behind Livia's desk. It's arms seemed to have an extensive reach, if the outline was to be trusted. But she wasn't scared of it for some reason - in fact it somehow seemed familiar.

The headmistress would feel a hand tug slightly on her dress. "... Livia ..." She pointed at the gigantic outlined shape in front of her, straight at where it's head was. "... who ... is that ...?" She was sure the headmistress knew - in fact, she was certain it was somehow involved with them based on how the spirit had followed them to their office.

Meowka's eyes opened up again after a couple of minutes, the cat stretching as she looked over towards her new mistress, put her new collar on, and then approached on all fours as she slipped out of the bed as if it was the most normal thing in the world, crossed the room after grabbing a pillow with her teeth off the bed, then jumped on top of a tall wardrobe and curling up on it's top as she looked over the rest of the room with watchful eyes as she curled up with the pillow beneath her. There was hardly any space between the prowler of the night and the ceiling, but the familiar seemed comfortable at least.

She watched the other woman work, clearly at least a little curious.

Lunalel Lightsword

Luna took a step to the right. The thrust didn't seem to have much feeling in it. A test, it seemed. In the moment Maoin jumped back, Luna charged. That sword of her's wouldn't do very much. Luna wouldn't be too worried about injuries it may cause. She just needed to keep her head clear of danger. She decided to let the cat warm up a bit with a predictable slice at her stomach. With a cat's reflex, it shouldn't be too hard to evade.

Eith and Kozue Komichi

"My ancestors hail from the island of Japan, as it is called here. I've never been to be honest. I've not had time to leave the tem--." She stopped herself from continuing her story. "Yes, the spirit is that of a fox. A servant of Inari, both of which hail from Japan." Kozue informed the rabbit, hoping the information may help push along Miren finding literature that would be of assistance. She still needed to get back to the cave of that water spirit.

Mugi the Yuki-Onna

Mugi was a little as Cynthia walked off as she did. Hell, she even blushed a bit at being told she was loved. It was a wonderful feeling of course! But unexpected. Actually, that part after that. Was that an insult. Well, that was just part of her charm! Right? Mugi pondered that until Cynthia returned. "Welcome back. I, uhhh. Why did you go off to the Headmistress' Office like that all of a sudden? Is it about the classes?" Well, of course they were. That's the only thing that made real sense.

Katherine Lindall

"It's dusty up there. The dolls can't reach." Katherine said without looking. She had anotehr set of eyes do that for her. She needed her own vision to focus on the tailoring in front of her. It was just a start, but it was coming together pretty well. She was mostly working out an outline for it. She'd not actually done something quite of the sort before, but there was a first time for everything. "Maybe you should consider elsewhere, Meowka."

~Fox~

"Mew? Weird?" The fox replied, stepping slightly closer to the mage. "Does master wish to do things to this kitten? I am unsure why it would otherwise be awkward." With an impish grin though, she did comply with the request...by just changing her eye color to her normal tone. "Does this work, master?"

...ugh, that was revolting. This might be more difficult to do than she thought it would, but at least she could maybe mess with a few people like this.

~Cynthia~

"Fill out." Cynthia handed a few sheets of paper to the Yuki-Onna. "English. Proper english and write neatly." The maid seemed to at least insist that she'd do this herself instead of letting someone else handle it. "Classes, what time you wish to take classes, and how many you will take on the weekdays. Sappho is a bit different than other academies. We let students choose the classes they wish to take. As long as they pass any required exams and meet the minimum require attendance, you will do well. If you need a list of classes we provide here I can retrieve one." It'd take a bit out of her work day and she'd have to work a bit later if she helped Mugi with this, but she didn't particularly mind in the end.

~Miren~

Inari? Fox?

So...it is a Kitsune, then." Miren concluded with the little information provided. So she was being possessed by a Kitsune in some fashion? It seemed as though it was the peaceful sort at least, though. That was good. "Well, from what I know Kitsune's are very...tricky and often times fickle and powerful spirits. Reviving one should be a simple enough matter as long as it's spirit is intact as it seems to be." The rabbit turned around, hopping swiftly over to a section of bookshelves.
"I have many texts here on the subject of spirits, methods to revive them, and other related materials."

~Livia~

Livia blinked, glancing at Fia and then up towards the spirit. It was currently cloaked to the point where only those who were at least of the same power as her with spirits could see it, even a little. The spirit itself looked turned its head towards Fia, but ultimately did nothing and only remained still.

"...oh, you can see him, then?" Livia leaned back in her chair. How odd. Fia was by no means some mage of any power...so how? Some tool or item, or outside influence. Alternatively...she could just be getting weaker. Old age tended to do that. "Hmm...a guardian spirit, lets call them that, Fia." She replied with a soft smile. "They are my...friends, of sorts. They take care of me, and will also help you should you have need of it. Pay them no mind - they don't like being noticed. A bit on the shy side."

Selvina was still obviously troubled by the entire appearance, but gulped slightly as she looked at the fox. "I ... guess that's better." The mage let out a sigh before she rubbed the fox-kitten's ears a bit with a little grin and stopping before her hand was ripped off. "Now be a good kitten Sly and follow me to the clothing store." With that the mage would leave the room, looking behind herself periodically to make sure the cat-fox-shapeshifter was following her.

When they arrived to Le Clothe's shop the man simply took a confused look at the familiar as if something was obviously bothering him about seeing this extremely familiar face, but the magierprinz just gave him a look that suggested silence was the best response. "One of your stock uniforms would do nicely. She's probably of a size you are used to. Just make sure there's something loose to put around the neck - no collars or leashes or anything. She's a very modest kitten and is easily embarrassed by any amount of exposed skin." The man simply gave the pair a look before gathering a few supplies from the store and grabbing a stock uniform off the shelf, casting a couple of spells and returning to them with the uniform in hand.

The fox would find Selvina placing the hyper submissive servants's uniform into her hands - with a soft ribbon that could easily be tied into an overly large bow to go loosely around her neck and small pins to keep it in place. "Now go be a good kitty and go change into your uniform for your mistress, Sly." It was rather obvious that Selvina was enjoying this entire counter-prank as she turned back to the shopkeeper. "As for me I was looking into something nice to wear for the fall festival and perhaps a few more casual clothes appropriate for a lady of my status?"

The exhausted merchant sighed, but the pair of them began to discuss clothing designs for something to wear to the festival.

Maoin was surprised by the sudden charge and a slight panic flowed up within as a response but the training with Lady Sorcha kept it down. As she watched the sword move surprisingly predictably and even slowly towards her the kitten jumped over it and sent a foot straight towards Luna's face while keeping her sword prepared to parry a return strike. If her kick landed, she hoped it would at least be an uncomfortable experience for the knightess. If her kick missed, she would try to roll back into position and back away once more.

The crimson haired girl nodded at Livia's explanation and after a couple of seconds seemed to accept the explanation. Fia let out a slight sigh of relief as the final possibility of them somehow being nefarious flew out of the window as she returned to her paperwork for a few moments until she felt like making another comment. "... sorry for coming in ... messy, yesterday ..."

She had overheard a couple of the maids describe to eachother how immediately after their bath the pair of them had come back in a couple hours later covered in various pieces of the outdoors, herself being dragged back to Livia and leaving no inconsiderable trail of mud behind them. The hydra had simply exhausted her but ...

The phoenix looked at the ring on her finger again. It was really pretty, wasn't it?

Meowka frowned slightly. She wasn't moving - she was comfortable. "I'm a prowler of the night! I don't fear a little dust - and besides, I can see everything from up here unlike you, Mistress Katherine. And I have a height advantage over any possible intruders." The cat seemed proud of her assessment, and the mage would see her show off her collar slightly as she upturned her face in an arrogant manner if she bothered to pay any attention to her pet. "And besides, the dolls can't poke me while I'm up here. So perhaps you should join me. And feed me."

Lunalel Lightsword

Maoin dodged the strike, as expected. Unexpectedly though, she jumped over the strike. Still, Luna wouldn't be thrown off by a manuver that seem Ayumi would come up with. She grabbed the cat's leg with her free left hand and helped the cat's momentum forward, just full bodied into the ground rather than the Knightess' face. "Glad my swing wasn't full hearted, that would have hit me if I had made it so." Luna said, giving the cat a chance to recover. It wasn't sporting to take out a downed opponent.

Eith and Kozue Komichi

"I'm impressed. I had not expected you westerners to know their proper name." Kozue was pleasantly surprised. This one was well read, or learned. Either way, it seemed this visit would not be a waste of time. "How fortuitous though. I had expected this to be a wasted trip, but I seem to have become lucky. Should I revive the Kitsune I would be happy enough. Doubly so should her body return, but I've little hope for that at this point." She added, giving little credence to that train of thought. "Thinking of it though. This society runs on currency, correct? I've little in the way of such thing, but perhaps there is something else I could help with?"

Mugi the Yuki-Onna

"Ahhhhh-hahaha. . ." Mugi said. "I don't even know what good classes there are. Or what I should even take. I might need you to explain a bit." She added, looking as pitifully cute as she would. Hopefully, the Maid wouldn't be too mad at her for that. It was going to be a long explaination probably. Mugi almost immdiately regretted her words but knew she'd live. "Ok?"

Katherine Lindall

"How do I even join you up there and feed y-- No, nevermind." Katherine took a second to pause her work to consider the thought before getting back to work. "Heh, I could give you a little errand to run. Guided by a couple of dolls of course. I don't want to eat only fish myself." Katherine added. It was obviously an errand to pick-up food.

~Fox~

"Master is so very considerate." The fox replied sweetly, taking the uniform. That said...she wasn't entirely keen on wearing something so outlandishly servile. She fidgeted uncomfortably where she stood for a few seconds before hesitatingly speaking. "But, master...this little kitten doesn't know anything and is awfully clumsy - she was just...made after all. Could my ever so gracious master help this servant learn?"

Whether Sel did or not was irrelevant. If she didn't, she could easily feign emotion and if Sel did, she would still be interrupting her so it wouldn't matter too much.

~Miren~

"A-ah, you don't need to pay me for information." Miren replied quickly. "W-well, you'll need to pay me for the books of you want them but if you don't have money...erm." Miren wasn't entirely sure about what she could ask for. "If you want to stay here and read them or study with them, you can." She continued after a few seconds of thought. "I'd be more than happy to help with your research, too."

~Livia~

"Oh, dear," Livia laughed. "You should go out and get messy more often. That's what most children your age do. If you want someone to be with you, I'm certain that Hydra will be more than happy to play with you more, heh." The headmistress hummed quietly for a few moments before continuing. "Do you want to play with her today, too, dear? I can ask Gwynn to stop by."

Selvina looked down towards her familiar taking a sigh out as the fox continued to put on her act. She gave a smile towards Le Clothe who was becoming more and more confused as she turned to look at the kitten and gave her plenty of pettings on the head that would likely make the real Maoin turn into little more than a pile of perpetual meows.

"Sly, I know that you're new to this ..." To be fair, the mage legitimately wasn't too certain how the clothing situation worked either in this case. She'd never worn a maid's outfit or even extremely girly clothes for that matter. But to help the familiar would likely mean them ending up in private and therefore having her suddenly become mean again. Selvina took a knee and looked into the familiar's eyes. "... and I've never worn something like this before either. If you are a good girl and aren't too shy I'm sure Le Clothe wouldn't mind showing us how this works. He's helped tailor clothes for plenty of girls after all, I'm sure he's seen someone not fully dressed before. I'll have him help me with mine alongside you if that'll make you feel better."

The mage gave off a slight smile. "If you're a good kitty and cooperate I'll be sure to take you out to your favorite restaurant and give you plenty of affection, alright? You're a good kitty, aren't you Sly?" Le Clothe was fidgeting in the background slightly - not because he wasn't willing to help or anything, but rather because by now he was certain this cat was twins or an illusion of some sort of the cat that had been here just the day before.

The cat let out an uncomfortable MEW as her face and body impacted into the ground uncomfortably, wiping a bit of sweat from her brow and breathing more heavily than she probably should have been. At least Lady Sorcha doesn't wear armor ... how am I supposed to get past this? The cat remembered what her mistress had instructed her to do at all times.

Maoin seemed to spin back into a standing position but as she did so she reached into her dress and threw a dagger straight at Lady Lightsword's face, waiting just a moment and using her cat-like reflexes to see how Luna intended to block it, then stabbing as swiftly as she could at where the glove would be and hoping to avoid the sword's guard. It was a leather glove, but a good stab from a sharp sword would hopefully make it's way through.

Fia's cheeks suddenly matched the color of her hair, the girl seeming somehow embarrassed. She'd just been entertaining the silly girl after all. Livia would likely be surprised how the normally shy phoenix stood up, crossed her arms and announced loudly. "Of-Of course NOT! She's just an annoying fool that just chases after people!" Though her expression fell for a second as she remembered the hydra mentioning being alone ... then it hardened once more as she shook that thought away.

It would be incredibly the girl was likely lying both to Livia and to herself however as both the bond and her expression indicated for more than a few moments that she would likely be saddened if Ritsa didn't actually show up. The girl's normally quieter voice returned after a couple of moments. "... besides ... paperwork ... fun ..."

Fia was a really horrible liar, at least.

"Well you just jump up obviously." That's how the prowler of the night had done it anyways.

Meowka looked down at the teacher as if slightly perplexed. "I can't read the signs - can't the dolls go on their own anyways? Isn't that what they are here for?" The cat looked slightly over the edge at what her new owner was working on. Some sort of ... diagrams? She couldn't read any words at least. "What are you doing anyways, Mistress Katherine?" It seemed like something was seriously occupying her attention at the moment, and suddenly curiosity flowed into the cat's veins.

A thrown dagger? How crude. Yet, as Luna watched the cat throw it, it was easy enough to dodge by pulling the entirety of her torso to the left and extending her left foot out a bit. That was more than enough distance to escape certain death. Now the cat was aiming at something. Not that Luna'd let up. It was simple enough to parry the cat's thrust. Maoin could do it to her in the same circumstances. Normally, she'd retaliate with a kick, but her current stance wouldn't allow for it. Rather, she took the moment to instead swing back at Maoin, just to gain some distance.

Eith and Kozue Komichi

"If you're willing to help, I'll take you up on the offer." Still, it left a weird feeling in Kozue. "And you have no desire for anything in return?" She had to ask. There didn't seem to be much of anyone willing to do things for free around town. Kozue had learned from experience and word of mouth. "Well, if you could guide me that would be appriciated."

Katherine Lindall

"Making that outfit you liked at the shop. I told you yesterday didn't I?" Katherine said, making a slight change to the plan she had. "Actually, get down here and take your clothes off and put these on." Katherine said whilst grabbing a couple of things. A piece of tape she used for measuring. She needed the cat's measurements after all. She also grabbed two pieces of clothing. "Undergarments. So you're not completely bare." They weren't exactly pretty, but they did their job.
