Lunalel Lightsword

The Knightess dropped her bow that disappeared into nothing and then drew her sword, parrying Sorcha's strikes. "Not especially, but I wanted to test it. You make the perfect target." Luna smirked as she started on a melee offensive herself, gripping her sword with both hands and giving swings from the sides. "This fight's fun either way."

The Dolls

The doll felt as if it were in slow motion as it fell. It made a huge thunk noise as it hit the ground. It took a couple seconds to look itself over to make sure there were no cracks in the body as that could become a huge problem, though nothing seemed out of sorts. Out of anger, one would think at least, the doll smacked on the cat's leg and it would hurt a very slight bit to be annoying. The other dolls brought over a couple of items that Katherine wanted for dinner and they both just stared at Meowka and the other doll.

~Fox~

For a few seemingly agonizingly long seconds, the fox simply stared at Sel. Her blue eyes coldly studied the mage silently, occasionally one of her ears seemingly twitched as she thought. Finally though, she sighed in replied.

"Hm? Is this mage so weak as to let a few insults get to her? Do you have such a low self esteem you can not brush off a mild insult? Such a weak willed thing you are. I almost find it pitiable." It was true, her words were rather...scathing and insulting most of the time. However, most of the time they also weren't exactly 100% truthful. If Sel had been paying attention in any capacity or even trusted her in the slightest then this wouldn't even be an issue, would it?

She doubted this insufferable mage would ever find her funny in the same manner her sister or Ayumi would, though...

Why, could she just not once...have the benefit of the doubt, just once in her life? That she wasn't some sort of boogey monster? That she wasn't some sort of...thing to be feared? That she, like her sister, deserved to have their efforts recognized instead of shoved under the carpet and as soon as things went wrong she was blamed for it?

"Hm," She hummed after a few more seconds. "Your words sound sincere at least...but I have heard sincere sounding words before. Words are meaningless in most situations." She paused for a few seconds, choosing her words carefully. "...but I will give you the benefit of the doubt, my weak minded master." For better or for worse, whether she was going to end up on the receiving end of mistrust again...why did she do this to herself?

She really hated that stupid fox for making her like this.

"Hmm...but if we're doing trust falls, there is something I would like to show you." She continued as she started walking. "Somewhere private with lots of room. Perhaps the lake will suffice, hm?" She paused for a moment, looking over her shoulder. "...just know, that if you ever fail in your trust...there will be no more chances for us, and your soul will be forfeit." She quietly added.

Sel would easily be able to tell that once again...that was not and idle threat.

~Ritsa~

The hydra stared at the spear like implement a few seconds longer before frowning. Instead of using it however, she finally decided she would use the methods most known to her to capture a meal. Fish were naturally skittish. One had to be extremely still and swift to catch one. This spear was such an inefficient tool...all it did was hurt little baby hydras.

She tossed the stick to the ground and walked back over to the river, walking out to the center of it and taking a sit in the center of it. This was likely the quietest and stillest Fia would ever see Ritsa. The hydra sat, almost completely motionless save for a few twitches of some fins on her head near her ears. Perhaps she was listening? Either way the Hydra would remain completely still for a number of seconds.

Suddenly, in one swift motion the Hydra reached swiftly down into the water next to her...and pulled up a fish. The stream wasn't big enough to have large ones, but this would serve nicely as dinner. She grinned, running over to Fia and showing her the catch, letting the redhead look at it.

"Hehe, silly sticks are silly." She grinned. "Much better hunter." She enthusiastically replied as the fish flopped about as it tried to escape its captors grasp. Ah! Right, she was going to eat it. Before Fia could say much else, the hydra shoved the whole fish into her mouth.

And swallowed it.

Whole.

"Hey hey, you next!"

~Sorcha~

"Haha!" The dragon grinned. "See Maoin, this is the sort of attitude you should have!" It was clear the dragon was enjoying herself, moreso since Luna was also enjoying it. For the next few seconds Glaive met sword. The clashing of metal upon metal echoed through the clearing as the dragon and knightess traded blows. It didn't seem like either could get an easy leg up on the other in a melee like this. Well, in such a situation one simply had to get a little creative. As Luna made a wide sideways arc, the dragon positioned her glaive horizontally and as soon as the two weapons clashed, the dragon caught the sword. In the next swift motion, Sorcha summoned all the strength she could and lowered her body, sending a swift, but still very powerful kick right to the knights midsection. If it knocker her off balance, as soon as the dragon right her self she would follow up by tackling the knight and hopefully pinning her to the ground.

Selvina gave Sly a slight frown - of worry more than anything else - but nodded. She was obviously curious about what it was, but was willing to go along with the fox's plan. "I'm not sure if the lake is the brightest idea for that - a lot of people visit it during the day. Somewhere out in the forest would be better ... or maybe in a study room within the library?" The mage paused for a moment. "Those things are huge and people rarely use them except around finals - no one's going to even be in the area for the festival week."

She decided to ignore the more insulting comments and the threatening statements. "But I'll use your judgement to decide - I'm not sure how large we are talking. Lead the way."

Fia's eyes reached the full extent of their wideness as she watched the hydra swallow the entire fish. She knew some familiars carried over characteristics of their mythic counterparts but ... how was the girl's neck wide enough? How had she just managed to grab one of the slimy things on her first try? Either way it had been an impressive display of skill that she couldn't replicate. "... you ... you win ..."

It was another reminder about how getting in a fight with this girl was a bad decision. But as she glanced around she gave Ritsa a grin before jumping at her for a tackle, stick dropping uselessly to the ground. "... grabbed fish ...!" Livia would likely be surprised by this action if she was watching, but it was clear based on the smirk crossing the girl's face that she was having a good time.

"H-hey!" Meowka glared at the angry doll, hugging the bag closer to herself and letting the dolls guide her through completing the shopping trip, carrying various items if they seemed to insist on it with an irritated puff and letting them show her how to pay for the food through one very confused cashier. If Katherine was paying attention she would realize Meowka's number system was limited to 'one' 'few' 'several' 'many' 'many manies!' and seemed to have little comprehension of how cash values worked except based on how pretty the metal was. After a long and painful process the Dollmaster would eventually hear the door opening as she entered wordlessly and handed the groceries she had to carry to the dolls.

Aside from the dried fish of course - that went on top of her new favored cabinet for safekeeping. Now that the most important matters had been taken care of ... what was Mistress Katherine doing?

Luna took the blow to her midsection, but not without blocking a bit with her hand. As she fell back, she noticed Sorcha going in for a tackle. She really couldn't do much here but take it. As she fell, it seemed Sorcha was trying to pin her. . . The best thing to do now was to interlock hands to keep from a full pin. As such, she was pretty much in a wrestling match with a mythical dragon that should be able to kill normal people with ease. This was pretty entertaining. "Got me down on the ground do you? Didn't think this would turn into some wrestling match."

Katherine Lindall

As the dolls and Meowka returned home, they would notice that Katherine was still at her station, working on Meowka's dress. "Welcome back." She said without looking up from her work. She had made great progress. She finished up with the outline and design and started working on the outfit itself. She wasn't amazingly far but it was a good start. "Meowka dear, I would prefer if you don't drop one of the dolls as well... That aside, I'll get started on some real food." Well, she said "I" but she really meant the dolls. The ones that Meowka gave the groceries to took them elsewhere to work on it.

~Fox~

"Silly master, I could care less what other people think of me." Whatever that statement implied, was left for Sel to figure out. "The lake is nice. As long as I don't touch it...bah. Maybe I should corrupt it? Turn the waters red. That would be pleasant...and annoy that undine that lives there, I'm sure." She mischievously cackled as she led the way towards the Lake. Unless someone or something happened to interrupt them, it wouldn't take them long to arrive at a somewhat secluded and out of the way spot on the far side of the lake.

"So, my incompetent and idiotic master." The fox began, turning to face the human. "Since you have decided to trust me, and I you...I suppose I should show you what exactly that silly human back there was talking about for starters. You will say nothing, nor react until I am done, understand?"

Whether Sel said yes or now, the fox then promptly decided to start undressing. She removed the rest of the uniform wordlessly, though she did keep her undergarments on. As she did so however, Sel would start noticing several things. The black, vieny mass on her neck became easily visible to Sel. It however, was not the only mark on her body. On her left wrist was a dark ring, though it looked like normal scarring black veins could be seen disappearing into her flesh. Several other spots on her body sported these scars as well.

After she was done, she observed Sel silently, seemingly waiting for a response.

~Ritsa~

"Waaaah?" The Hydra was at first, stunned by the development. She was not a fish! She was a Hydra! There was a difference!
But more importantly Fia had just hugged her. Willingly! The Hydra couldn't help herself. She liked physical affection quite a bit, since she had never received much of it before. So unfortunately for Fia, she had just cemented the Hydra's best friend opinion of her.

But two could play this game!

"No, Caught pretty!" Before Fia could react, the Hydra had wrapped Fia in her own tight hug and was affectionately nuzzling the other girl.

~Sorcha~

Hah, success! Good, good! Sorcha tackled Luna right to the ground, the dragon easily using her weight and superior strength to pin the human under her. Now, the dragons grand plan was going to be put into full effect! As soon as Luna hit the ground, the dragon pressed her body against Luna's, as her hands wrestled with the humans as she tried to get Luna into a full pin. Not that she really needed to try to hard, since she wasn't planning on winning quite like so. Suddenly, the dragon gave the human a toothy, mischievous grin. She lowered her head right towards Luna's...

and a kiss was planted firmly on the humans lips.

"You have now become a hungry dragon's plaything" The dragon broke her grip from Luna, planting her hands firmly onto the ground behind her head as she straddled the human. She made a noise that sounded like a growl that would have belonged better on a cat than a dragon. "If you don't surrender and feed the scary dragon she'll just have to eat you~"

Selvina's face blushed as she looked over the fox stripping, but she remained silent. Normally she would have admired the figure, but instead she found herself resisting the urge to vomit as she looked over this horrid, painful, veiny mess that looked like a combination of some sort of curse, disease, and torture. She tried to maintain a steady face as the girl finished stripping but her stomach felt uneasy by the time it was apparent she was supposed to respond.

"Errrrr ..." It was obvious that she was uneasy as she tried to think of an appropriate response. "Um ... err ... nice figure, there. Exactly ..." As her eyes drifted over the black area on her neck again though it seemed even her attempt to tease the fox had failed. For a couple of seconds she closed her eyes and gradually the uneasiness left.

Anger filled her blood. Not at Sly, but whoever had done this to her. Was this part of that trauma she had felt previously? Why had her previous master abused her so badly - she swore that - "... who DID this ...?" Of course, the fox couldn't answer that question. She continued sternly, more aggressiveness in her voice than intended. "Nevermind. You can't tell me." However the mage suddenly felt their protective instincts run over them as she pointed to the various other spots as well and spoke demandingly. "Do those hurt as well? I'd like to take to you a doctor - they have some of the best in the world here."

She reached up and gave the fox a quick rub through her ears in what was likely going to be a failed attempt to comfort her. She still tried anyways. "I'm sorry. I don't like to see my familiar ... scarred like this." Calmer, Selvina. The mage ran her hand through Sly's ears again and let out a small sigh and gave a weak smile towards her familiar. "I'll do what I can to help ... but I'm not sure it is within my power to do so."

Maoin had been nervous for the majority of this duel - the kitten had been concerned that either Lady Lightsword or her mistress would hurt eachother. She respected both of them and didn't want to see either of them get hurt at all - although their duel was a reminder about how far beyond a silly cat they were. Their skill was impeccable.

The moment the tackle happened though Maoin's eyes widened and worry ran through her body for half a second. She stood up from her spot to stop -

Why was her mistress looking at Lady Luna like she wanted to eat her up?

OH. OH. A massive blush ran across the cat's face as she noticed Lady Sorcha planted one on Lady Lightsword's lips. The cat gulped slightly from the sheer embarrassment of being there and silently took a few steps away, her kitten ears picking up on Lady Sorcha's 'threats' and her obviously lust induced heavy breathing and a the mating growl of a cat in the heat.

As soon as she away from hearing them (several hundred meters) the kitten sat herself against a tree and shoved her face into her hands. How could the dragon had made it more obvious? Cuddling Lady Luna, being extremely close to her ... the dragon even went so far as to kick her out the first day they came back so they'd have the room for themselves!

Sure her mistress would obey her little human's orders, but likely only in bed. Maoin started thinking about how to make things more comfortable for them. She should probably find a nice cabinet to throw a comfortable crate on top of, maybe even start announcing that she needed to prowl the nearby streets at night ... she knew she couldn't let Lady Sorcha's kindness prevent her from playing with whoever she wanted to.

Unless of course she was also a plaything ... Maoin's face blushed more. Were dragons monogamous? It seemed unlikely? How would she go about asking that? The dragon had called her 'cute' several times after all ... did it mean more? Either way, it would probably be best to stay here for now and wait for them to start looking for her before popping out and give them a little privacy.

Fia's eyes widened a bit as she was hugged, the startled girl loosing her feet for a moment before regaining them. Well, she supposed she couldn't blame Ritsa for hugging her back and ... a large blush spread across her cheeks as she felt the hydra nuzzling against her. Asking her to the festival ... being physically interested ... these were the signs of love according to the books Livia had her read, weren't they?

As the Phoenix decided to pull their head back from the intense nuzzling briefly it would be apparent to the hydra that the girl's skin seemed to match the color of her hair. "... Ritsa ... um ..." Their foreheads were practically pressed together ... was this ... didn't lovers ... also have fun?

She wasn't sure how she felt about Ritsa, but her heart was practically pounding out of her chest. "... do ... do you ... LIKE ... like me ..." It was a dumb question - of course the girl did - but she wanted to hear it first. Her eyes seemed to dart everywhere but at the girl a few inches away from her face and it was obvious she was nervous ... but not in a bad way.

Meowka simply looked at her mistress as she was lectured, glancing towards the dolls she had dropped and giving a look that seemed about an eighth apologetic. Soon enough the girl went across the room and jumped up on top of the wardrobe again and situated her little spot again as she looked over the room once more. "Almost finished?" The cat watched her owner work, wondering when her clothes would be finished and not really understanding how long the entire process took.

Well, to be fair, Luna hadn't fought Sorcha now that she was stronger, so it was somewhat expected. What was not expected, was what came after. A warm feeling in her mouth and flesh meeting flesh. It. . . Wasn't bad. Not that she'd admit it openly. In fact her reply was to look to the side, away from Sorcha. She was blushing like her face was on fire. That was. . . Tongue in cheek. . . And on tongue. . . In the most literal sense. Sorcha was really warm too. Comfortingly warm. No! No being distracted. Luna finally forced her voice to let itself be heard. "You're a perverted dragon, Sorcha." She wasn't sure what else to say, if there were really anything else to say. Her mind was drawing blanks. Huge blanks. The embarrassment just over took her body and practically forced it down. She didn't even give a bit of token resistance either.

Katherine Lindall

"Not that close I'm afraid. You can watch if you'd like. It's tedious, and not very fun to witness... But I find it entertaining to do. I could teach you if you wanted." Katherine said, for once looking up at Meowka in her spot on top of the dresser. She meant it as a sign of truthfulness and welcoming. Hopefully the cat saw it in the Dollmaster's face. "Of course, you're probably not interested are you?" She said with a bit of a giggle on the back end of it. It didn't seem like she would be interested in after all."[/color]

~Fox~

The reaction of the fox, was almost immediate. A slight twinge of disappointment could likely be felt through the bond. Her face read completely different however. She frowned, ear twitching in annoyance as she narrowed her eyes at Selvina. She swatted the mage's hand away from her ear as she started speaking.

"I do not need nor want your pathetic attempts at 'pity', mage. I am fine and they only hurt should some fool does something they shouldn't. Like grab my neck." She was of course, referring to the earlier incident. "I did not bring you here to show you this to earn your pity. I am showing you...so that you know full well I am not hiding anything from you any more. These...'scars' as you call them, are merely what happens when someone attempts some futile attempt at 'purification' that I neither need nor want." The fox huffed, tilting her head slightly the side as her tail swished back and forth. "...they wouldn't be...festering so if my foolish sister had kept her mitts off of me. Once some time has passed the curses will heal and will return to that which they should."

That was only a half truth. It was quite true, they weren't exactly scars from some injury. They were scars of a different sort - the curses of Yomi having being partially burned away for now, and attempting to reclaim their hold over her. But she couldn't tell the complete and full truth even if she wanted too and hopefully Sel would understand that completely by now.

"Now...in lieu of trusting one another more, I was not entirely truthful when I named all of my previous abilities when you asked the previous night. I am skilled in both curses as well as I have knowledge of sealing magic and restraints. And I mean actual curses too, not some harmless prank of a 'death' curse." She turned, walking away from Sel with a sigh before turning on her heels and continuing. "Also...you have yet to see what I actually look like." Immediately following her words, there was the usual foggy mist associated with her changing forms. Only this time there was much more than usual, followed by the sound of something large and heavy moving about on the ground. The clatter of a chain was heard briefly before quieting itself.

As soon as the mist cleared, Sel would be met with a fox the size of a small house lounging idly in front of her.

"So, my little mage," Her voice was much louder in this form. "I have no more secrets I am keeping from you."

~Ritsa~

Ritsa titled her head to the side. Like like Fia? What exactly did that mean?

"Uhm...Fia is pretty? Friends? Like yes?" Ritsa replied with a grin. The Hydra really had no idea what Fia was asking at all. She liked tons of people and everything! As if to cement her answer further, Ritsa released her briefly from the hug and walked back over to the stream before waiting by the waters edge for a few moments and pulling out another fish. She walked back over to Fia and handed her the fish. "Friends share! Fia friend!"

~Sorcha~

"Tsk~" Sorcha giggled lightly, rolling off of the knight and onto her side next to her. She wrapped Luna in a hug. "I'm not the pervert here that is apparently thinking dirty thoughts. I just went with a...tactical disarming to win the fight!~" She grinned. "You fought well, though heh! If I was even halfway serious though I would have made little luna-kebabs for lunch." It seemed for now though, that Sorcha was just content to lay there for a bit, hugging Luna for a few seconds.

That is, until without warning Luna would feel something gently nibbling the ear closest to Sorcha.

"Hehe, maybe I still will...you certainly are tasty~" The dragon giggled into the knights ear. She bit it again. "Hehe...usually when the dragon beats the brave knight, they get the princess...but I'll take the brave strong Knight as my plaything instead~"

Selvina frowned but nodded as the black fox complained about being pitied. She ... supposed that made sense. She had likely lived like this for a very long time and had adjusted to living this way. Her eyes drifted nervously down to the damaged neck again, but she forced herself to not comment or offer her consolations.

She was distracted soon enough however as the fox suddenly transformed into a massive form easily several times her own size. For a couple moments she was afraid, but with a sigh she looked at the black fox and her chain before giving her a smile. "... I suppose I don't need to be too worried about you in direct combat then, do I?"

The mage gave the large fox a little rub on her chin just to irritate her for the most part. "Could you please transform back to something smaller though? It's a little easier to converse with you that way. And besides, I don't want others to know your true form ... it's better that we leave it up our sleeve for now."

Fia let out a sigh of relief as the hydra changed the conversation and seemed a little confused ...

The beast HAD to know what she was doing, didn't she? Could anyone be that innocent? For a couple of moments she looked at Ritsa speculatively although as a fish was suddenly placed into her hands she was filled with her own doubts about the girl in front of her.

The fish of course was still alive. "... ummm ... I need it .... cooked ..." She surely wasn't going to eat some raw fish nearby and she wasn't confident enough in her own pyromancy to cook the thing reliably.

Meowka watched on as her new owner talked, inviting her to come down and learn how to make clothes. Truthfully she wasn't interested. Cat naps were a far better use of her time than clothes making!

The puppeteer would likely be stunned slightly however as her lap suddenly had a humanoid cat land in it with minimal force. "I'll keep you company." The girl's tail swished over Mistress Katherine's legs as the prowler of the night curled up and closed her eyes. Goodness, human laps were always so warm. This was why they existed, wasn't it?

Her ears twitched slightly as she slowed her breathing, preparing herself to take a nice long cat nap until food arrived.

Luna was ill-prepared for any of it. None of it at all. She wasn't sure if she was just accepting what could only be interpreted as Sorcha's affection. She wasn't just sure if that was Sorcha being Sorcha or if it meant. . . Well, more. Very unconvincingly, Luna meekly spat out, "I-I'm no one's plaything." She really couldn't take it much more. She was close to a breaking point. To counter that, she wiggled out of Sorcha's warm and soft embrace and stood. "A-anyways. As the winner of this, I'll treat you to food and drink. Your choice of where." She added at the end. It would be pretty obvious to Sorcha that Luna was simply just trying to skip over talking about what happened.

Katherine Lindall

"Hey, Meowka. It's not going to work like this." The cat was holding on to her in an incredibly awkward and unworkable way. It couldn't be good for the cat either. She mentally ordered the dolls to gather a thick quilt and set it right next to where she was sitting. "You can do whatever later. Lay on my lap or whatnot. But for now, just lay here on the ground if you want. Or the bed. Whatever suits your fancy." She added, taking a second to look the cat in the eyes.

~Fox~

"Hmm? But seeing you shocked is so much fun, master." The fox replied childishly before reverting the process in a matter of seconds - except instead of returning to her human form, she had decided to simply turn into a smaller version of the fox.

"Better, master?" She yawned. "I hope so, I am not changing again."

~Ritsa~

Cook? How did one cook? Ritsa hadn't a clue. She just swallowed things whole - literally. Wasn't like she had to be picky about whats she did eat. As long as it wasn't massively toxic in some manner, she could eat it anything with only mild discomfort. Ritsa tilted her head to the side, seemingly trying to think of what to do.

Well, she got nothing.

"Old hag lady!" Ritsa said after awhile. "Bring it! Other lady cook!" She was of course, talking about bringing it to Livia and having Cynthia cook it.

~Sorcha~

"But I wanted yoooou~" The dragon pouted childishly as she stood, hugging Luna from behind and giving her a final playful smooch on her cheek. "Ah but fine, fine..." She continued, sighing with a shake of her head. "I'll just have to have the main course later~" She laughed, releasing Luna. No more playing for now then. She didn't want to make Luna too off put. Now though...where had her servant gone off too?

After a cursory examination of the area, the dragon didn't see the kitten anywhere. Well...that was a problem, now wasn't it? She was in fact, feeling a little irritated because of it.

"MAOIN!" The dragons voice echoed through the entire forest, likely deafening poor Luna's eardrums, but the dragon wanted Maoin in front of her.

Selvina sighed a little in relief as she heard the fox's voice entered her mind telepathically from a much more manageable size. Despite knowing how much it would annoy her, the mage lifted the fox carefully up (ensuring she avoided any sensitive areas) and picked her up into her arms. "Don't worry, you can stay like this forever!" After rubbing her cheek against Sly's soft fur a couple of times teasingly.

"Anyways, I need to give something to you now at least." The mage adjusted her arms so the fox could climb up on her shoulder or remain in her arms as she wished. "Just stick with me for a bit, I'll explain it all when you we get back to the dorm."

Whether Sly decided to hop down or not, Sel would travel with the fox back to her dorm room where she would start searching for something through a couple of drawers before pulling out a small little talisman and connected it to a small bracelet with a minor enchantment on it. The mage picked up the fox's left paw and put the small thing on her, the talisman showing a Grimore with an arcane symbol in the background. "This is so that others will know not to mess with you or they will face my families wrath ... be responsible with it, but I hope it saves a couple of mages from being injured by you in the long run. It also should give you access to a small line of credit with most merchants around here - my family has reputable enough funding that they can afford to be billed."

Maoin jumped up slightly from her position several hundred feet away as she heard a surprisingly loud voice boom through the forest. That ... that hadn't been that long. Was the dragon so skilled that they could finish that quickly? The kitten's eyes widened at the thought - Lady Sorcha undoubtedly had -

No Maoin stop thinking about that you ... Besides, her mistress sounded more irritated or annoyed with her than anything else. The cat began her walk back which took a couple of minutes and soon returned to the clearing after circling around a tree and seeing both Lady Luna and her owner standing together near where she had left them.

And the dragon was giving her a seriously inquisitive look. Had ... had she been meant to stay for that? Did Lady Sorcha want her to join in? Was she in trouble? A slight blush ran across Maoin's cheeks at the thought as she looked around and avoided looking at the pair. "... Y-yes?" The dragon still had a questioning look on her face. "I-I had just gone for a walk while you two f-finished up. The fight that is." The girl's overall demeanor - her voice, ears, and tail - suggested she didn't think it had been a fight.

"D-do you um ..." The cat was flustered enough by their interaction that she had forgotten to even say 'mistress'.

Fia gave the dying and suffocating fish a sympathetic glance but nodded at Ritsa as the pair of them returned together to the headmistress office. Hopefully the fish had died by then. "L-Livia?" The crimson haired girl opened the door and entered the room. "C-can you cook this? Is Cynthia here?" The phoenix held up the fish as she approached the desk, expecting Ritsa to be at her heels.

"... You already knew we were coming, right ...?" Now that she was paying attention, it seemed that the headmistress was always watching over her.

Meowka lowered herself to the ground with a noncommittal cat like glare before curling up on the quilt and giving off a less committed purr. Aside from periodically moving around and pretending to eat fish and having her tail flop around and possibly touch Katherine a few times the woman would find her peace of mind to work. The prowler of the night would mutter 'Ronat' a few times in a combination of both happy and sad voices, but overall she seemed to be enjoying her nap as Katherine dedicated her life to caring for her.

~Fox~

The fox merely gave Sel a rather deadpan expression when she was picked up and petted once again. For now though she said nothing, merely growled disapprovingly and climbed not onto Sel's shoulder, but rather - right onto her head. The fox threw her back legs over the humans head, and her front paws over her forehead. It'd probably look quite...odd, but hey, she wanted to mess with her just a bit and waited for Sel to return her to the dorm.

She hadn't been expecting to basically be given the key to the family. The fox peered at the talisman, studying it intensely before turning her head towards Sel.

"Hm...perhaps this one misjudged you." The fox yawned, sauntering off and hopping onto the bed.
"Ah well, only time will tell, I suppose." She chuckled. "Hopefully you won't regret the decision, my oh so gullible master."

~Ritsa~

Of course, Livia had been vaguely aware of the own thing. She hadn't been watching the whole exchange...but she had saw both Fia's fish catching and them returning. The headmistress looked down at the two girls smiling at the both of them.

"My, someone has been paying much better attention as of late." She chuckled. "I'm glad you two had fun, and yes...Cynthia is here, as always Fia." The maid was standing in her usual spot not far away from Livia, blending into the background as she had a habit of doing easily. She cast a somewhat unimpressed looking glance over to Livia and then towards the fish.

"Oh come now Cynthia, don't be like that...though I suppose if you don't I could always tease you some more-oof!" In an uncharacteristic display of disobedience the Maid gave the headmistress a light smack on the back of the head and earning a small chuckle from Livia.

"Very well, children." Cynthia sighed. "Follow me to the Kitchens..." She walked to the door, holding it open for the two girls to follow. Ritsa quickly followed out after Cynthia.

~Sorcha~

OH

Oh dear.

Upon seeing the kittens reaction, the dragon couldn't help but to start laughing. She placed a hand on Luna's shoulder steadying herself as her free hand held her stomach. It was easy enough to tell what the cat had thought happened.

"Oh, my little one," She spoke. "I assure you nothing quite like that happened...Luna's much too modest, heh~" She teased once again, giving her knight a small pat on the head. "It's almost adorable, really, but no - nothing quite like that happened." Sorcha's gaze however, soon returned to a more serious one as she observed the kitten. She hadn't done anything too wrong here so there was no need to really get too upset with her. Still...

"Maoin, Little one...I realize you had good intentions of giving us some privacy...which would be good, if things had actually escalated to that." She shook her head. "I will simply say a servant should be capable of reading the atmosphere between their master and another person better."

Selvina glared just slightly at the fox as she decided to try and ignore the obvious teasing. She had decided to trust the fox despite how idiotic that likely was. "I AM still your master, Sly. Although it seems like you are enthusiastic to hop in bed with me." The mage sat down on the bed next to her fox petting her tail slowly and keeping her other hand on the grimore. A slight static charge ran through her body - but now that the magic had somewhere to go she simply acted as a conduit rather than the ending point for the power.

And truthfully it was pretty efficient. Charged inks were far more expensive than ones you charged yourself and Sly was saving a considerable amount of money at the moment. It'd probably be best to keep her method about this secret - the fox would likely be disappointed to know that she had been bested.

"Anyways, I'm going to go around town. I hear there's a new bookstore open ... also, Eith hasn't been home in a bit and I'd like to find her to make sure she's alright. You can come along if you wish ... or stay here and do whatever." Selvina would offer her an arm in case the fox wanted to continue to pursue her lifetime goal of being a hat.

Maoin's blush spread as she was lectured about her horrible blunder in reading the situation. A simple glance at Lady Lightsword revealed that the other woman was likely more embarrassed than she was about this entire situation, meaning she had made this horribly awkward and uncomfortable as well.

The kitten glanced up momentarily in hopes that a massive rock would fall from the sky and crush her instantly. Of course, whatever rocks lined the heavens were not so easy to command and the neko instead lowered her eyes to the ground as her ears dropped and her tail hid between her legs - which of course she grabbed and cuddled against her chest in a rather adorable manner.

"Your ki-"

She contemplated saying something but instead simply nodded towards each of them with a slight curtsy in an apologetic manner and continued to pray that rock would fall on her. She was a very, very dumb kitten.

~Ritsa & Cynthia~

Cynthia led Fia and Ritsa to the kitchens, where Mugi was still filling out her class forms. In typical fashion, the maid took the fish from them with her normally neutral expression and laid it upon the kitchen counter.

"Do make yourselves comfortable. I will prepare something with the fish for everyone." The did have a number of other fish in storage, and they actually hadn't had seafood in awhile so it'd be a nice change of pace, wouldn't it? Before getting to work though, the maid cast a quick glance over to Mugi to see if she needed any more help, only to notice Ritsa having walked over to the Yuki Onna and stare up at her with a quizzical glance.

"Hey hey, what's your name?"

~Sorcha~

Sorcha walked over, giving the kitten a small pat on the head.

"Now now, don't make such a face!" Sorcha laughed. "Come now, both of you. I'll treat you both to lunch and we can spend the rest of the day relaxing after a friendly little sparring match." The dragon picked her glaive up from the ground, resting it on her shoulders before turning her head back towards Luna. "Unless you'd rather do something else, Luna darling." The dragon smirked, quite implying something else with that.

Lunalel Lightsword

Luna seemed to get over herself a bit most obviously by answering Sorcha, "Denied. We'll have no such thing." Despite her words, she was still a bit red in the face. "That said, I lost, so I'm paying." She added. It was a sense of honor for to do such at least. How could the winner pay after all? "But yes, I could use some more rest."

Mugi the Yuki-Onna

So much paperwork, it was rather annoying. Mugi was glad to be in Cynthia's company of course, but there were things she would prefer to be doing otherwise. Perhaps. . . Something to do with lips. . . Either way, it didn't really matter now. A small girl came up and asked who she was. She looked familiar. "Oh! You're that small child that ran into me!" That's not quite how she meant it to come out, but it happened anyhow. "How, rude of me." She corrected herself before continuing. "My name is Mugi. I'm a Yuki-Onna. Who are you?" She had to ask, patting the girl's head.

Selvina walked towards the new bookstore, Sly being left behind in their dormitory. Honestly, she felt a little nervous about the mischief but she trusted that the fox would keep everything to a manageable level.

Soon enough she found the new bookstore that arrived in town - after this, she would be looking for Eith. The mage knocked on the door a little awkwardly before opening it and walking within the bookstore and taking a quick look around.

If she saw Miren, she'd likely look at her and blink a few times before finally responding. "Seems like you shrunk your collection just a bit."

Fia blinked a couple of times and leaned against a nearby wall, seeming to avoid the conversation and the general meeting of people. She'd been in the manor, right? When Cynthia decided she had to leave? Wasn't that when she was chased by Ritsa out to the yard like crazy?

~Ritsa & Cynthia~

"Ritsa." The Hydra replied happily, at least until the snow woman patted her head. The hydra's reaction was immediate and swift. A shiver went through the serpents entire body, causing the small girl to practically leap away from Mugi. C-cold woman!" The Hydra pointed at Mugi in an accusatory manner with a hurt and serious expression. Meanwhile Cynthia set about preparing the fish. She wouldn't subject Fia to having her skin and gut it, but she wasn't going to let Fia sit there and do nothing when this was her idea. Setting the fish onto the cutting board, the maid moved over to Fia.

"There is more fish in the cold storage." Cynthia said, motioning to a door at the back of the kitchen. "Retrieve them, Fia."

~Miren~

"E-eh?" Miren had been busy going through an inventory check and a few other busy tasks such as cleaning and other things when Sel walked into the store. "Oh, oh. H-hello." She greeted Sel with a smile. "Aha, I wouldn't say I shrunk my collection. There's actually a lot of books here you wouldn't find in the academies library. Personally collected by me!" She seemed rather proud of that fact. Enough so that she gave Sel a confident grin, at least.

"O-oh, but erm, never mind that." She sheepishly continued. "Is there something I can help you with?"

Mugi the Yuki-Onna

"Ehh-e-ehhhh?" Mugi sputtered out, surprised by the Ritsa's instant withdrawal and then pointing. "Cold woman. . ." Mugi was holding back tears. How could she make this cute little girl back off? Wait, if she was called a cold woman it had to be because of her body temperature. "Cyyynnnthiiiiiaaaaaaaaa, I made this small child hate meeeeeeeeeeeee." The Yuki-Onna was definitely sniffling.

Selvina gave the bunny a quick little smile. "I'm looking for books about the formorians. One of my friends is concerned that she angered them - specifically sources about any legendary swords they may have had." The mage took a quick look around the bookstore and decided to give Miren a small smile. The bunny was incredibly well travelled according to what she knew about them. "If this is a specially curated collection I expect something quite nice. And sources about any legendary foxes - kitsune - would be appreciated as well. Especially darker colored ones."

Of course it was rather obvious what Selvina was asking for if the rabbit had any knowledge of their discussion. The librarian likely had ideas about what she was talking about. They tended to be well learned. "How about Inari?"

Maoin took another bite out of her small chicken plate - they had been a little surprised, but even the world's most fish loving cat would eventually tire of the taste - and watched carefully as the knightess excused herself from the table to go to the restroom. Lady Sorcha would have likely noticed that the cat was off throughout the entire meal (remaining very quiet) but she quickly entered 'I have a question mode - fingers pressed together, somewhat submissive posture - as she gulped several times and eventually blurted out what was on her mind.

It wasn't respectful, but it was all the girl could manage to blurt out the general subject with little regard for class. "So-s-so what about sex!?" For a couple of seconds the kitten let her face flush in silent before remembering to address the dragon properly. "Mistress."

Fia frowned as she entered the cold storage, forcing herself to push down the panic that rose up within her and grabbing the fish before holding them out for Cynthia. For a few moments she wondered why this servant was ordering her around, but the imposing woman seemed to have an air of authority around her matched only by the headmistress herself and her natural tenacity for leadership and her commanding presence - sometimes the girl wondered if Livia had adopted her as something along the lines of a daughter ...

... of course, that thought left her mind quickly. They had too much 'fun' together for that, didn't they?
