"Well don't let me stop you. A good education is quite important for anyone." She said, humming lightly.
"I can help get you there extra early if you want me too." Sorcha said in a playful manner, giving a flap of her wings.
"I think I can have you there in a few seconds, if you don't mind a little whiplash." It was probably obvious what the dragon was implying here. The dragon took a few steps closer to the knight, giving Luna an expectant look.
Oh boy.
They had a long way to go.
Judging from Maoin's lack of coordination and balance, she had no idea how this worked at all. You think she might would have picked upon something over the year or so of watching her. Wasn't that hard to pick up on something simply from watching. Then again though, Maoin had never really shown any interest in any of her typical activities she had fun with. Still, she wasn't much of a teacher. Best she could do was help the kitten learn on her own.
"Alright then." She pulled her own sword from its sheath. She didn't intend to use it so much the first few times, not until the kitten got comfortable with this. She wouldn't use her magic with it either, not until she was at least good enough to relatively be able to handle her own swordplay.
And then the law had to catch up with her.
Before she could even do anything, she suddenly found herself being carried overhead by a bunch of...dolls? She immediately knew who that was. One of the teachers, miss Lindall. Welp, she had a few options here but all of them would just get her into more trouble later, so none of them were particularly appealing. Besides, being carried around like a Queen was kinda nice.
"Heh, hey Miss Lindall. Do you always give troublemakers the royal treatment or no?"~Kostis~
"You have my thanks, Sir. As someone who has little talent for magic I am unable to directly aid in this matter myself so I must often seek outside help for such matters or find a way to deal with such things in a method that doesn't require it." The Lord shook his head, sighing a bit in disappointment.
"Unfortunately, certain people tend to think ill of me for trying such things. Mortal men can only do so much against such beasts without magic, but I digress." He smiled, demeanor taking a more lighthearted and amicable tone as he continued.
"Have you ever heard of the tale of the 'Cursed Fox of Inari'? It's quite an...intriguing legend. Have you ever been to the eastern lands? They're quite beautiful this time of year you know, but they're full of quite some dangerous creatures if you're not prepared. Anyways, they say that a servant of some god was corrupted by some dark force, turned into a monster and later sealed after it fled in the mountains of India. The priests who built it built a shrine around the place it was sealed to keep an eye on it." He paused for a moment, taking a quick look around. The maid didn't seem to be following him, but even if she was he wasn't one to keep quiet on his opinion of someone.
"Now, I do not mean to point fingers but the temple sometimes has visitors. I can not say whether everything is true or not, but...a few years ago your Headmistress visited the temple. Since then, the priests have reported quite a number of...odd things happening. Your headmistress insists there is nothing wrong, but I have had my own people look into it and they say otherwise."It was probably clear what he was suggesting. That Livia had something to do with whatever was happening at the place, and that he wanted Swen to look into it.
~Cynthia~
"Horrid ends? My life was forfeit years ago, so it matters not if I meet a horrid end or not. I am simply glad to be alive at the moment." Cynthia replied with a dismissive huff. Though a she finished speaking, she did clear her throat, bowing slightly to the hound.
"However, I do realize I have perhaps been overly...honest in my statements." Not that she wasn't going to take back what she said of course.
"That holds little weight in negotiations though. Livia is quite aware of your situation, dog, and while I am not particularly authorized to use school funds I am quite certain she would be grateful for your help in this endeavor. Perhaps...pay for all your food?"Honestly, Livia was surprised that Fia wanted to go out on her own. Either this was progress or she wanted to try something, but if she did Livia would know almost immediately. Besides, if it was progress she didn't want to hinder that progress. The headmistress hummed silently to herself for a few seconds, seemingly thinking it over before frowning and giving Fia a concerned look.
"Well, I certainly won't stop you...but will you be alright on your own, dear?"Boy, some people were in a hurry weren't they? She didn't know what was up with Maoin or Gwynn on her way to get her free cookies from the adorable kitten she would very much like to own, but they didn't even stop and say hi! Rude. If she was a less kinda demon princess lord she'd give them punishment! But punishment wouldn't be had, for she was a kind and merciful soon to be demon overlord, yep yep!
...pfft. Like she'd ever actually be one.
The pink haired girl giggled to herself as she walked through the campus. She didn't normally attend classes, though she did keep up with her studies. She had any homework and stuff done and turned it in at appropriate times after classes usually. She did have to go sometimes just for attendance reasons, but details details.
It was then, she had run across someone she hadn't seen yet! Or at least met. That was a crime! She knew everyone in the school and was besties with all of them! besides, he also looked like he'd be totally fun to bother! With a grin, Lyssa started sprinting.
"wheeee! Hinewperson!" And slammed right into Swen with as much of an tackle hug as she could muster, wrapping her arms around his midsection.
