Why not? C'mon. You're totally removed from the roleplay nowadays, and I think it'd be more fun if you got more involved. I want you back in the game, because I miss your input, and the way you play.
It's your choice, but there's a reason I suggested the position for you. You have the skill and are one of the most experienced members in the group.

When you join in, you hang near the back. You take no spotlight. I think you've really just kinda lost connection with the rp since you haven't played for so long: I couldn't even really interest you in going IC.
I think that playing your hand at being Co-GM could be just what you need.

Hey, just while things are calm, um, Dead have a free download (it's been up for ages, but it's still up) and it's a good song so check it out maybe? I think they deserve recognition, especially considering things aren't exactly going the best :P so download maybe? Free stuff is always good (although I bought the signed CD and downloaded it......)

Yeah, I stay near the back because that's where I feel most comfortable. Yeah, I sort of lost connection, and when we tried to go IC, we ended up arguing over Drake's hair colour. I didn't want to be Co-GM in the first place, so I'm even more reluctant because I've not done anything for so long
