Ah actually Reinhardt added a divine protection to his blade if memory serves. He can't use magic, therefore good luck getting anything close to what Reinhardt did with mere yang magic XD
Also it sounds like you just melted your sword to me. Good luck using it from here on out while it's melted, since you never mentioned having a heatproof or whatever sword and that sounds kinda important.

Better. Though do note that mind effecting abilities have always been a highly contested power in RP's like mind reading and invisibility. Thus, while I don't mind your power working on NPC's and the like, be aware that they might not work as intended for PC's. How it affects them I'll leave to the individual player. Maybe the power works on them as advertised, maybe it doesn't. I encourage that you communicate with others to make sure that his Divine Protection is used smoothly in the RP. Otherwise he looks good to me.

Damn it, If Zin just didn't pass out from burning herself and getting partially exploded upon. she would comment on how odd it is to see a yellow orc just appearing from an alleyway asking what's going on. At least unlike other people, the creature known for violence asked what was going on, instead of just running in and slashing at everyone and attempting to claim everyone is something else.

Thanks! Regardless it sounds cooler than it is, but this will more likely than not be used mostly on NPC's. If anyone would like to play along with the gimmick it's cool, if not it's cool as well. And thanks again! If anything I'll PM anyone who'm I'm RPing with at the moment as to create a feasible outcome without metagaming or seeming like I can puppeteer their characters lol XD

Don't worry about the blade. It's the hilt that matters. As long as I have the hilt I can conjure a divine empowered plasma sword any time.

One sentence is hardly enough to justify the existence of such a powerful weapon. A sword that can channel the power of a divine protection? You'd think that would at least have a paragraph of it's own, instead of being about as important the type of clothing you'd wear. And no, even if you do elaborate about it, I wouldn't accept such a weapon among the other abilities he already has. And if it's easily missed, all the more reason your character sheet should be revised again, if you're going to be underhanded and try slipping powerful weapons through vague wording.

I read it. It says it powers up your spells, not enhances your sword. HUGE difference. And nowhere does it even remotely state anything about a sword hilt which can create a plasma blade, and that sounds very, very important to add.
In fact you took out parts of the CS XD Just casually didn't have the personality, like or dislike (those two don't really matter) nor even theme! The most important part of the CS!

I use Light Magic empowered by my divine protection to boost my NORMAL weapon.
Why can I make a light sword if I only have the hilt? Because the hilt is made of pure gold so I use the gold inside the hilt to also* activate my divine protection and empower my magic further, hence the lightsaber plasma sword.

Maybe cause you kept ranting on about the weapon itself while mentioning nothing about it being a form of yang magic? Let alone the golden hilt. Also if the hilt is made of gold there are a few things I would like to say here.
1. That definitely doesn't make it a normal weapon. No 'normal' weapon is casually made of gold XD
2. No 'normal' sword casually doesn't have a blade XD
3. If the hilt itself is PURE gold then the hilt would be destroyed, thus you have no weapon to project your blade from.
4. This is more directed as a question towards fiddle, but I thought Yang covered buffs. Not creating lightsabers.
5. This is more a scientific query, but I don't believe light and plasma are the same thing.

You need to elaborate about things like that, also Yang Magic covers buffs and the like, not plasma. While you may be under the impression that yang relates to the sun, and with it light and heat, it does not. You'll need fire magic if you want to try to create some semi-solid state of plasma. Also if your hilt is made of pure gold, then wouldn't your divine blessing turn the entire hilt (because it's made of pure gold) into mana, and thus he wouldn't even have a hilt to use?

Regardless, even a searing heat blade isn't going to be as powerful as you'd hope. Considering that we've already have characters face tank apparently nova-level fireballs, plasma blades are quaint in comparison. So don't get in over your head that somehow your weapon will be the end-all to a fight. Again: Learn to fight instead of relying on gimmicks.

In addition to anyone else reading this, I'll be consulting the other GM's about adding a new feature to the CS for those who use magic, namely to describe what sort of spells they're capable of using. This way anyone who is capable of using a 4th level incantation doesn't just pull out any type of spell out of their ass.

For the same reason why I didn't like the idea you were going to copy something from Reinhard; just because a canon character can do it, doesn't mean we'll allow everyone to. And in Priscilla's case, not only is she herself a skilled magic user her spell is explicitly mentioned to be not only powerful, but also energy consumptive. The fact you never specified it and tried to make it sound like an original spell made it more worrisome, because for all we know you could be trying to get the same power without the drawbacks.

The devil is in the details, and while the other GM's may have a more casual approach to CS making, I will be more thorough. Hence why I want to implement a list of the spells any character capable of magic can use, including it's leveled variants. This way we won't have vague "I can do [X] because I'm able to use [Y] magic" without anyone knowing what other tricks you plan to pull.

Also Priscillia isn't human. Maybe that's why. Also it's not a 'missexpression' (Handy hint. Not a real word) if you state it is made of pure gold, it is simply a mistake in general XD
Also if the gold is in the hilt you're technically not touching it. Just a small little detail there. I would also love to know how your character would've been capable of learning that spell since his history doesn't suggest any extensive magic training or anything like that.
Also the excuse of 'it's magic' won't fly. Otherwise Vesta could become the most OP fucking bitch in the roleplay because she has the most extensive history when it comes to dealing with magic. I mean if she started using firing off plutonium and I used that excuse I would be torn to shreds XD

Sorry. Typically I try not to metagame by not looking at character sheets, but omitting important information like that will just be exploited to allow people to do anything they want with their magic. I'm a "Better safe than sorry" type of guy, because typically by the time I'm sorry there are already people rallying behind whatever mess just got made.
