Personal Effects: Some clothes, shoes, make-up, etc.; a picture of her family (to include her deceased husband); and a small collection of books based on her specialty, Urogynecology/Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery
Bio: Emilie was born into a small family: Her father, Hunter LaFavre; and her brother 4 years her senior, Derrick LaFavre. Her mother Alicia unfortunately passed away while giving birth to Emilie due to complications beyond control. Such incident is what led Emilie to choose her career path at a relatively young age. Even though Emilie knows that she shouldn't blame herself for her mother's death, she at the very least feels partially responsible for what occurred, but whenever she brings up the topic, both her brother and her father will shut her down instantly to prevent Emilie from going down the ugly path of self-blaming.
Despite the family missing one of the key members in their household, Emilie grew up happily alongside her brother without any major issues. She was a very bright kid from a young age like her father, who was a neurosurgeon and her brother, who was an astronomy professor. Both of them are safely tucked away in cryogenic stasis.
When Emilie was just 15, she met her husband, a guy who'd just turned 17 and was just about ready to head to the service. Emilie and Jason immediately fell in love, and even though they couldn't physically be together after Jason had shipped off to commence his training, the two of them didn't stop writing to each other. Jason eventually became a pilot, and Emilie followed him wherever his military career took him.
After they were both in their mid twenties, the couple started trying to have a baby, but unfortunately, Jason was infertile. The news devastated them, and despite Emilie's growing knowledge of the field, there wasn't really anything she could do. Things only got worse a year later when Jason was killed in action. Upon receiving the news, Emilie had a breakdown, and no one heard from her for days. It was then her drug abuse started, an issue that has been kept at bay for some time but she nonetheless faces struggles every now and then. Being that she had not much else going for her, Emilie decided to dedicate most of her time and energy into her job. It didn't take long for her to start getting noticed in the field, and when they offered her a spot aboard the Vitae, she immediately contacted her father and her brother and accepted the invitation.

Biography: Lee was born in Chicago on the 15th of November in the year 2168. His parents are unknown, as he was abandoned just days after his birth. Brought to a local orphanage, Lee was forced to grow up tough, robbed of his childhood by the brutal life on Chicago’s shadowed streets. From a young age, Lee showed a natural resilience, and a quick mind, and it soon led him to being dragged into the local police station. Chicago was run by multiple criminal syndicates, and the police were both undermanned and underequipped, so when the young teenager was brought into the station for a petty crime, he was not punished, rather offered a badge. Feeling something stir within himself, Lee took the badge. Excelling throughout training, Lee soon proved to be a resourceful and highly capable police officer. Climbing the ranks at record speed, Lee began cracking down on the crime that ran rife throughout Chicago, slowly claiming back the city. It is here that he first began to develop his reputation for being ruthless in the pursuit of justice, as well as earning his nickname “Bloody” for the brutal punishment he dealt out against the scum of the city.
Lee’s talent was soon picked up by the Federation, who fast-tracked him into their Special Branch, where he engaged in the cold war that was raging. The skills bred into him on the harsh streets of Chicago set Lee in good stead as he carried out several successful counter-espionage missions, catching spies implanted across the Federation and exacting bloody justice against them. It was this role that turned him into a renowned detective, as he continued to climb the ranks and gain notoriety amongst his comrades. He continued to excel until the Three Day War.
Following the formation of the United Earth Council, the Federation’s Special Branch was largely disbanded, the cold war effectively over as the three powers came together to face the outside threat. However the Federation deemed Lee to valuable an asset to allow him to return to the Chicago Police Department, so they created his role as Inspector, where he continued to brutally crack down on the most pressing crimes committed within the Federation’s borders. When the second wave was detected, Lee was given clear orders. He was to maintain the peace when Project Genesis was announced. As the Federation had expected, there were mass riots across all of the major cities. At the head of specially trained squads of armed police, Lee led the offensive against the rioters, bringing down the ringleaders with ruthless efficiency and supressing the panicked hordes. When calm was finally restored, Lee was assigned to the Vitae to act as the head of the on-board Investigation Branch, his exemplary record clearly marking him as a valuable crew-member.
The clamor of the bar was intense. What usually was a small time bar meant for a local crowd was a flood of new faces, the announced ark project bringing out the inner alcoholic in even the most prudent stiffs. Hardwood was stained a liquor brown from spills from cups and people alike, and the cushioned seats were flat under the asses of the unlucky saps who were to be left behind, all but one.
Light filtered into the bar through screens of smoke and smudged windows, and landed on the heaven white face of a creased paper. Two muddy eyes stared down at the all too familiar words, his daughter was captured by the world government, or rather donated to the ark project. By whatever means the child of four wasn’t in his custody, but even so now the young girl was to be stuffed into a tube for preservation of the human race. Could a father be proud?
Every coin has two sides, he supposed, but he wasn’t too happy with the side of the coin he found himself on, not when it puts his daughter at such an unknown risk. A loud cough broke him from the paper and he folded it back into his shirt pocket.
The cough came from a man who looked uncannily similar to the first: muddy eyes, prominent jawline, and those dark locks so common in a Sicilian. The only difference was one was drinking rye in ginger, and the other was nursing ginger in ginger, and not due to sobriety.
“You holding up well, Doctor?” The first man gently slapped the back of the second. The Doctor sputtered a sentence that the first man didn’t care to catch. This was doctor Ferdinand Lorenzo, cryogenics expert and man with a first class ticket to the first man’s daughter. The first man let the Doctor choke on the cigar smoke from a heavy set biker to the right for a few more minutes before forcing a smile and drowning what ginger remained in his crystal whiskey glass. With a smack of his lips, as if sampling the alcohol that wasn’t there he nodded a stiff chin towards the bartender, slipping some crumpled bills that way.
“How bout we get the hell out of here?” The first man commanded more than asked as he helped the slumping doctor to his feet. Two leather loafed feet slapped the sticky floor and the first man knew the doctor was good enough to walk, or whatever that equated to when mixed with stumbles and toxic burps of old rye.
The first man slipped his hand over the mouth of his crystal glass and slid it off the bar while the other hand grabbed the doctor's arm to help him out of the establishment of depression and liquid courage.
The city streets were just as dark as the bar, if not by light, then by atmosphere. Most people shuffled without much purpose, and few looked up as the first man and the Doctor decided to take a shortcut through a long narrow alley.
The first man held the Doctor close as they walked, keeping the bloated fool from tripping over his own feet. The drunk was blabbering but the first man couldn’t afford to listen as they walked further and further down the alley.
As the duo passed a dumpster the alley narrowed so only one could walk abreast. Stepping over a puddle of what might be rainwater, the first man let the drunk go first, with a polite smile and nod. As Doctor Ferdinand Lorenzo stepped between the dumpster and the building wall, the first man’s hand stiffly landed on his shoulder and yanked him backwards while the other hand brought down the crystal glass with a loud THUNK, a dribble of scarlet remaining on the glass as the doctor fell into the waiting arm of the first man.
Alive or dead, the first man didn’t know, but he didn’t really care as he quickly stripped the doctor of everything, from his keycard, ID’s, papers, coat, pants, everything. With a heave, the first man jettisoned the body of the doctor into the dumpster and slammed the lid down before tossing the glass in whatever direction, it didn’t matter with how things were about to go down on the planet anyways.

That morning the first man stood in front of a security checkpoint, his destination behind him.
“Name?”
“Ferdinand Lorenzo, Doctor.”

The one thing he didn’t expect, is staying on this star boat.

He has a strong jawline and commands a presence more often seen in someone who has survived in a violent urban environment rather than a university. Generally cynical and even apathetic Technically, he isn't a doctor, and technically he knows very little of what he is doing A liar, a Cheat, and in this case, a fool

Nice work @Goldeagle1221. Should prove to an interesting character to RP, especially taking someone else's identity. That being said, you may want to think about possible DNA/Biometric scans not matching up. Perhaps he had a temporary solution to enable him to gain access?
I'm sure we can figure it out. I left that whole business vague so I didn't overstep any bounds and figured it worked out better with actual discussion on how.
I've got big plans for Dr. Stark guys, let's get moving!
Hah, well we use OOC primarily for key announcements so don't think we're not doing anything :) But we've been in discussions all week in Discord about next posts and there should be another IC up in a day or two. We'll be back up to speed in no time.
@heat and I are also working on the next post that will mainly be a current "State of the Ark" (see what I did there) post, and Admiral Locke making a ship-wide announcement with a "Here's what's next, but carry on with your lives" kind of of speech.
We don't plan on moving too fast as we like to allow the players to develop their characters whereas the Ark really takes on a life of it's own after awhile.

Gotcha. No rush, I was just wondering where everyone was.
