@Angel Eyes Right so, in formative history - there wouldn't be pollution or pirates yet. Pirates sort of require there to be an agreed system of laws, which there isn't necessarily - each tirbe has their own rules and the Gathering of Clans has some basic ones to ensure the peace, but there aren't any laws that would force people to take the name of pirates, so to speak. Of course, there are people running around causing trouble on the high seas, but their boats would be be extremely basic and there wouldn't be pollution, and they'd just be considered troublemakers rather then pirates. Basically if you're not on clan territory, there's techniquely no laws dictating what you can and can't do. If you do something terrible to a clan member, though, and it becomes known, then that will have it's own consequences.
Also, there would totally be people wanting to eat the hearts of mermaids to live forever!They just wouldn't be dubbed pirates. I do imagine there is probably an island clan somewhere who sends their little boats out into the ocean and causing trouble, I just don't think they'd be defined as pirates, as that denotes a later time period. So maybe there is a clan across the ocean that is obsessed with eating the hearts of mermaids and mermans?
And I really love his creative motivation to join the Dark Gods :D That'll have some effects on the oceans in the world for sure.
Also just wondering if Prey Hypersensitivity would be called that if he's a mermaid now? You could probably just remove the "prey" parts and keep it called hypersensitivity. If he's having to look out for all his mermaid children, then he'd be like an observant parent looking out for trouble, it's sweet <3
Ok so - Marina's shell has three functions:
+ Playback conversations
+ Eavesdrop
+ Confusion and Misdirecting enemies
I'd say the top two is fine, but if you want three it'd be a more powerful ability if it's a guarenteed part of the ability.
For example - you
can still use the conch to make the sounds of the oceans, or to record conversations. You could use that to distract people (e.g. recording a conversation from their superior so they go somewhere else) but whether they fall for it would be a roll. However if you're saying that it's a
part of the ability, then that's not potency 1, since it fills three functions, one of which can be applied combatitively.
In comparison, Raydon's potency one can mark something to be aware of things around it, vaguely.
Khyrian's potency 1 makes a person hate another, making them
more likely to divulge information.
So that's the sort of level of power potency 1 reaches.
Weakest Potency 2 - Water Manipulation. It really depends on how much you can manipulate water whether this belongs here. The way this is worded right now, this could cover anything from forming water droplets to causing tidal waves, to sucking all the water out of someone's body, instantly killing them. So you'll really need to specify on what this power actually does before I can comment on whether it is appropriate in this slot.
Also, this doesn't entirely make sense with the necklace - How did your mortal self acquire it? Why would this link to his God ability? Mortals and Immortals aren't really linked apart from their souls.
For example, Miosura is a goddess who is assosciated with autumn and spring. her level 2 potency ability is she can summon sweet smelling flowers when she walks that soothe feelings and blossom contentedness in the hearts of man.
Weakest Potency 3 - This is fine :D Since this is a weak ability, it'd be fairly easy to break them out of it (e.g. if they were in danger, through the right conversation) so just a heads up there.
Moderate Potency 1 - This could also be quite powerful for this ability slot, as you could reappear anywhere. It also negates any possible damage to you, and I'm wondering how this would act if you were already wounded (for example if you were bleeding before you do this, do you go into statis?) also how much awareness do you have in this form?
Moderate Potency 2 - Awesome concept! Since you're a Dark God I'll leave this as is, if you were a normal god it'd need some adjustments. However, when used on Player Characters, I'll be using dice to determine how long the effect lasts, with some modifiers for Lifeforce amounts of both players.
Potency 3 - Ok, the way we'll run this is it'll have a based cost. PM or talk to me OOC or in discord when you're using it, and we'll adjust the cost accordingly. Again, you're a dark god so :D

Right, so:
+ Need to add in a bio and adjust some things
+ Need to add descriptions to your ability sections
+ Probably remove the magic water necklace, sorry!
+ Need to name your Clan and add some description about it. From Discord chat you're making a coastal Clan? So it'll probably be along the west coast. Down south is more marshland area, so just keep that in mind when thinking of where you'd like to place it, north mid or south (or anything variably in between xD)
As I said in Discord, you've been actively involved in the community recently, and I've seen your dedication to getting your character up. For that reason I'll let you start the RRA if you'd like, but of course you can do this traditionally if it's easier. Just wanted to give you the option if you wanted it.
