@Hawlin A look into Nate's mind: "I must do everything to try and help this Kaite person. I would never do something so horrible just for a test. I bet I could fix any genetic problems..."
What you had down looked good so far. The only thing I saw was that we already have a mechanic so you would have to ask them for permission for the co-position. Chef is completely acceptable.
Rad. I guess 'chef' it is...though I'm leaving them licensed (through performance) as being capable of what they are. Through more capable positions' aptitude, Kaite...well...
*looks between a pan and a box of powdered eggs* "...E-eggs? I can list five variables to conflict vith zeh flux vithin variable sublight cores regardink-...n-no...scrambled, eit iz..." ~_~;
Name: T3-073 AKA: '(Anything as long as he knows he's being addressed)', Kaite('Kite'), Age: 3 (appears 14-18 (Mentally 30ish)) Race
'The Children of Aylv', 'The Lost Boys', 'Space Rats'... Roughly ten years ago, these names surfaced on the news following reports of acclaim regarding the successes of the Triganavia corporation. Their 'new-man' project, this creature that could survive hostile conditions and trauma, all based on the exposure of their pharmaceutical end. Making human clones wasn't enough, it was about the 99.5% accuracy in their treatments. After push from military backers to produce something more substantial than a morally questionable ration supplement, strides were taken to enhance and test the intelligence of their specimens to serve on front lines in measures to rival simple artificial intelligence. This challenge was taken farther than expected as the specimens were pushed with no actual goal, mostly to see how far beyond human limitations technology and science could reach without the chains of limitation. It only took Triganavia three years before their security couldn't keep up with the creations who had learned to 'play dumb' and even 'play defective' after trial and error. What humanity saw as failure, these 'Children of Aylv' knew as exploitation. A clock ticked over to 3:50pm and the revolution was born. Triganavia was dismantled overnight as two batches of one-hundred with fifty being in formidable condition incited a collective uprising against those who would otherwise use them for cosmetics, medical testing and rations. In a statement against humanity, after years of piracy after utilizing the escape pods to inhabit and take down other ships, the 'Children of Aylv' pried the remains of Triganavia from Mars, adding their birthplace to a hive which they call 'The Spire'. This citadel's location is widely unknown, made from a few light-speed capable crafts with shield-integration, it is likely to drift in the Teran neighboring clusters, though its whereabouts are widely unknown. The established fear is in the stolen genetics technology in their possession which they call 'The Nightmare Machine'. In these ten years, nightmarish tales have been spun of children being whisked away to form their latest creations.
Kaite stands at a physically unimposing 5'4. His hair is sheen with what seems like white but fades to a light blonde as the hair length continues; the follicles holding a mild bioluminescence. It holds a slight wave to it and is usually worn about 6-7 wavy inches long. From that protrudes long bunny ears with similarly colored fur, though the short hair is mainly white with little to no bioluminescence. The bushy fluff of his tail shares these qualities. Heterochromatic eyes leave the left amber and the right a brilliant sapphire, though this is obscured by an eyepatch which they alternate between eyes. This relays sensor diagnostics and trajectory, flourishing in the waves of aim assists granted by simple objective input. This input is fed through Kaite's eyepatch...though he simply looks on. Kaite is often clad in regulation gray and black bodysuit attire, though inclined to wear typically plaid scarves through preference. Sports 7-inch rabbit ears.
Faction: Marauder, Children of Aylv Role in Team?: Mechanic, chef (Licensed for operations in most ship-side weaponry, piloting/navigations and even small-arms training...but arguably good reasons were found to disallow this)
I was of five from ten, two batches of five. No, I have no reason to-...then let me explain. The military contracts? Yeh, I know of such whispers... There were such fortunate; whispers of fish, telling 'us' who tell of people who accept the new worlds' order. These beasts heeled by mankind, the alternative is too much to bear.
So I was one of them when the knocks came. Coated in blood, if they could only be days sooner... Of the creatures capable of cracking cars in half, or those who could run hundreds of meters in instances to be noted...I was the last of minds. I had him, brother of five, second survivor...he who knew my jokes...Four corpses built my podium. I wouldn't know what to do without him, but the world had plans for me, it seemed. Like ice-cream at a parlor, I was chosen after a mere few days.
This person was this....Raymond. I have a contract with Sir Raymond, I heard he had an opening on his ship...and I am loath to turn away hospitality.
In short: Vacant, accepting, vindictive. They have a violent streak of disproportionate tendencies where they could come off confrontational, on paper. In all actuality, '073' is uncharacteristically friendly . With little to base themselves on, 073 bases themselves on others' disposition as they meet them. He is caring and determined, though distant and vicious if there should be an upset in his goals. With little to no goals to speak of, he generalizes this perspective in order to fit as many places as he can with The Monroe...as the alternative is a disgraceful execution. In spite of their otherwise composed and even innocent demeanor, Kaite is a fear-biter and won't hesitate to defend himself and any others he deems worth it. Fickle as his temperament is, he seeks direction and a frightened animal is best had on your side than left to roam free. Lack of direction, Kaite does what hes told, often to the letter.
Kaite' keeps watch and does what he can, broken by disproportionate expectations and logistics shoe-horning their ideals into otherwise objective logic. He is loving and compassionate, though objectively so...almost to the point of it seeming disingenuous, which it may very well be. Much of 'His' disposition is disgustingly skewed and based off racial disposition, especially directed towards humanity. Without the common grounds of his free brethren, 'Ansel' has faded into an estranged religion made by the Aylv. 'Distant Fish' is the name which they have given what they had supposedly seen within turmoil and time reflecting into the windows of their enclosures.
Star-fighter?: Licensed to fly and engage combat maneuvers, let alone basic navigations and landings. Not in possession of a ship.
Family/Relationship?: I was born in a tube with no mother or father. Three of my brothers fell to disease and genetic detriments...the fourth was not himself when I killed him. The Monroe is my family, now.
I just added all the list of all the characters in the characters section and their roles on the first OOC post. You can look at that to get an idea of what we have, and if you wanna be a assistant or co-[insert job here] you can message them!
But we could use a pilot, or navigator, or weapon expert, or linguist, etc. all of these are just examples! Its all up to you haha
