Mainstream verse

Universal Century 0079: The One year war has begun, half of the earth’s population has been destroyed in the initial stages of the war.

In response to the Zeons Mobile Weapons the Federation made their own MS development dubbed Project V.

The Projects Flagship would seen be known to many as the Gundam. The construction would partake on a neutral colony but not even that could defend it from the prying eyes of Zeons Red Comet.

His recon units assaulted the base but failed to destroy the Prototype carrier White base and it's complement carrying the Gundam, and it's novice Pilot Amuro Ray.

Unknown to himself he possessed a latent precognitive ability beyond normal men, a Newtype as coined by Zeon's original founder Zeon Zum Deikun.

Millions of years ago on another world named Cybertron in a different age the Benevolent Autobots and the Militaristic Decepticons waged war for control.

Having been depleted of Energon the Autobots sought out alternative energy sources to turn the tide of the war.
However Megatron merciless Leader of the Decepticons caught wind and followed in their own battleship.

Critically damaged by the fighting both ships collided with the planet below, earth.

After being awoken by a volcanic eruption the Autobots were thrust into not only their own ongoing war with the Decepticons but with the infighting dictatorship of Zeon, who would eventually forge an unholy alliance as their battles progressed.

The Gundam who became known far and wide as the White Devil fought side by Side with Optimus Prime Leader of the Autobots. Formerly known as Orion Pax, he was the first in line of Modified Autobots for combat.

Foraging forth through the theater of the One Year War, Prime and Amuro would confront threats in the like of their duel rivals, the Red Comet Char and Megatron to the coldly logical Shockwave and his macabre weapons called Bio Zaku's ,the Cybertronian enhanced Big Zam and finally Zeons trump Card: The Solar Ray.

After being routed on their base at a Boa Quo the Decepticons seemingly disappeared from the battlefront and Zeon's threat ended with the deaths of the last members of the Zabi family.

The Autobots and Decepticons were not the only ones in hibernation as deep Underground a malevolent force became resurgent.

The earthborn Dinosaur Empire had waged a clandestine War against Humanity, seeking to usurp their mammalian rivals under the command of Emperor Gore.

Aware of this menace Professor Satome constructed what would become known as one of Humanity's most powerful weapon: Getter Robo.

After brutal initiation the three pilots for Getter were chosen, the Hot Blooded Martial artist Ryoma Nagare, the Coldly intelligent classroom insurrectionist Hayato Jin, and the wilderness dwelling High School Judo Captain Musahsi Tomoe.

Concurrently the threat of the Mad German Scientist Doctor Hell gave rise to another heroic Super Robot: Mazinger Z.

It's pilot Koji Kabuto was told to pilot the Mazinger to dash Hell's ambitions by his dying grandfather Juzo Kabuto, boasting with his last words he could wield the power of a god or a Devil Koji made battle with Hell's Mechanical Beasts.

After many battles Mazinger and Getter became allies against Hell and Gore's forces, culminating with Gores defeat and Hells destruction.

But at the cost of the lives of many of the newly constructed Mazinger Army and Musashi in a feint to keep Gore's forces off Satome Lab long enough to buy time for the completion of Getter Robo G.

Despite these hard won victories new enemies quickly arose. The Alien altered Hyakki Empire led by Emporor Brai and the Ancient Mycane helmed by the Great General of Darkness.

Mazinger was nearly destroyed in the first incursion but a new hero and another Mazinger entered the fray, Tetsuya Tsurugi and the Great Mazinger.

Raised in secrecy by Koji's thought deceased father Kenzo Kabuto, Tetsuya was trained specifically for a Improved Mazinger based off of Juzo's designs.

Koji was sent to study abroad but returned when he was faced with the return of Doctor Hell, now known as the Great Marshall of Hell.

The Getter team too met formidable foes from the Demon hordes of Barai, Hayato's former gang altered into man machines, an attempt to steal a destructive Virus and a botching a excavation of a crashed alien spaceship.

Getter and Great Mazinger also united against the threat of the Metal eating Gilgilgan and its masters the Damdom.
The earthbound conflicts eventually gained the attention and aid of the Autobots and Zeon remnants scattered on earth.

Brai backed against the ropes and lacking manpower forcibly assimilated what unsuspecting Humans he could find into the Demon ranks, Zeon or Federation and prepared his endgame: The unearthing of an Atlantian Super Robot lost to the ages. However the Getter Pilots discover the behemoth first and destroy Brai's Battleship.

At the same time The great Marshall of hell made his final push at the Mazinger brothers and ends with his second death.

Free of constant battles Koji takes to studying the stars and making contact with other forms of Alien life and opening trade with them inspired by the good will of the Autobots and the construction of their city, but little does he know he will face earth’s next greatest interstellar threats.

The Federation itself notes the possibility of more interstellar incursions and creates the Cyber Beast Force in secrecy.

The Getter team assume normalcy in assisting Satome in his research on Getter Rays, but secretly Satome is constructing his last and most devastatingly powerful weapon.

In the wake of Zeons defeat the seeds of a new war begin. In response to the attacks by the Zeon insurgent Delaz's attempted colony Drop on Jaburo the Federation formed an elite force called the Titians.

Discriminating against the Autobots the Titan officials regularly make life miserable for the occupants of Autobot city, commencing surprise inspections and confiscating Energon at a whim.

Seeking a way to seek out Newtype Pilots the Titans oversee Federation Academy's to find candidates.

Soon the Titans and their violent anti Spacenoid policies will ignite a new conflict, but it would be one of many.

A polar opposite to the Titans the enigmatic Mithril wages battles to prevent wars and circulation of weapons from destroying a balance of power.

Byston Well the medieval dimension between the Sea and the Stars lies on the path of catastrophic war.

After recruiting the Upper Earthling Shot Weapon, Regional Governor Drake Luft has introduced destructive machines called Aura battlers.

Deep in space other conflicts boil.

Populated by users of Magic the populace of these nations is gifted with the power to manipulate Quartz and manipulate automatons called Golems.
However those without such power are dubbed Unsorcerers, but unknowingly this curse would also be a blessing for the Unscorcerer known as Rygart.

Planet Zi, a world populated by Piloted Mechanized Organisms called Zoids.
After a apocalyptic cataclysm a thousand years ago the Planet has begun to heal and the surviving populace is rebuilding.

However even in this time danger lurks, the Digald Army and its invincible Bio Zoid forces lay waste to all opposition and leave a trail of destruction wherever they appear.

The Interstellar empire known as Grados has targeted earth out of fear of it's potential, but one lone pilot races against time to warn the unprepared planet.

Boringverse

The year is 2065, the Freedom Space corps is at war. Their former allies have turned on them and stolen their space elevator and little do both parties know this war will ravage the multiverse.

Cosmic Era 70 Coordinators, genetically engineered Humans are at odds with their unaltered brethren and conflict has ignited by the Bloody Valentine incident.

Overpowered by the Coordinator exiles from earth calling themselves Zaft with their own Mobile weapons mirroring the OYW the Earth Alliance prepares their own Mobile Suit weaponry.

While caught in its infighting, the Gundam Misters have appeared to the populace, their goal is to create a world without war.

Unknown to the earth the malevolent Radam threaten to invade. But one lone escapee will challenge them with everything he has.

Unknown to all two of Unicron’s Champions monitor the planet, and wait until it ripens with chaos.

The Big Slam

Less eloquently phrased by natives as the great Clusterfuck

This is what would be known as the collision between the two already greatly altered worlds into each other.

Forcibly jammed into each other the two worlds became even bigger patchworks then they already initially were.

It broke the Singularities barriers and brought two Cybertron's into the same plane of existence.

On earth constantly each incarnation of the planet would shift from one to another and were in constant flux due to the Oscillation Bomb.

The Unicron Singularities influence would be even more detrimental as it came to add more worlds into this dimensional tar pit.
Millions upon millions of worlds entered in and out in an endless flux of planetary pieces, but the process leaves a global warming effect threatening to destroy millions.

But out of all dangers generated by this cataclysm an even greater threat was lurking, one as powerful as Primus and Unicron itself its goals unknown but instinctively both deities were aware that something else was watching them...waiting.

UC:0084

Away from the other students Asuna was off in the lounge with her notebook. Silently she was looking for something to draw but nothing seemed to catch her eye. The robotic structures were unappealing and barely any birds were in sight. She sighed hopelessly at the lack of inspiration the city provided and picked up her things. She was about to look to find Emilu but came across a scuffle in the progress.

“Stop it you jerks!” said a timid sounding midteen boy
“Ha does babby want his toy?” said an arrogant sounding boy.
The younger boy had brown hair and uncombed hair, the older boy no a young man had a Titans uniform and blond hair.

“What kind of shitty name is Finn anyways? What did your mommy get oxygen deprivation before she had you?” said the Blond boy

“Shut the hell up you dick!” the brown haired boy Finn shouted and charged at the older Titan officer.

Quickly the young man jabs him in the stomach and ends his advance and he falls over crying.

“I was just trying to see what you were making shithead, it’s your own fault for being a baby about it” the Blond man said as he tossed the object he had on his face.

Asuna was disgusted at this pointless brutality but before she could do or say anything a mechanical voice could be heard. “Hey guys what’s the problem here ?” The voice belonged to the Autobot named Hot Rod, one of the guards assigned to the city. “He started it, he shouldn't be so defensive when someone takes an interest in whatever he’s making” said the Titan. Hot Rod gave the young man an exhausted look and said

“Look Jerid I don’t know how you do things in the Titans but this is Autobot city, is this how you wanna represent yourselves to other sentient beings?”. Jerid scoffed and gave a unconcerned look and said

“Look Autobot the only reason we’re in these stupid games are to show you aliens we Titans are the best and brightest the Federation have to offer! And it’s Ensign Jerid to you!” Hot Rod confused responded
“Last time I checked aren't we all allies here? I thought these games were just supposed to be for fun? I mean they even have a professional basketball team coming over for fans and food and Energon cubes. Can’t you Titans guys just calm down and enjoy party?”

Jerid looking annoyed replied

“Please if I was content with being some slacker guard like you I’d never would have gotten into the Titans to begin with. I’m going to be somebody someday, I made it this far with a single aptitude test, someday I’ll be as big as Bask with my own fleet at my command.”

After finishing his boast Jerid walked off, knocking Finn over as he began picking himself up from the ground.

“Yeesh that guy really has an idea of where he headed in life set in stone doesn't he?” Asuna was somewhat startled at the large mechanical figure addressing her, she had a dislike of robots even though she was at a school for piloting mobile suits and a fear of Cybertronians long before she joined Ecole. Hot Rod noticing her uneasiness said

“Oh I’m not gonna bite or anything, see” Hot rod transformed into his car mode and spoke again” I heard Human teenagers like to start driving around your age or so wanna go on a ride and help me watch Daniel? He could use some new Human friends.” Asuna was slightly calmed by Hot Rod’s actions. He was very friendly and kind not unlike Shin in some ways, which was a total departure from her initial encounter with the Transformers. Shockwave was terrifying to her; Every action he told was as cold as the metal he was made of, and every word he spoke was carefully calculated for a desired result. Beings to him were either assets or deterrents. There were no friends, allies or enemies to him just numbers and variables that can serve to his own benefit. He and her father were both unforgivable for treating her as if she was some test subject

Asuna complied and asked “Can you also stop at the forest for a second? I’d like to find something there to sketch.” Hot Rod responded “Sure hop in” unnoticed to Hot Rod and Asuna a student was watching them from a distance. He possessed a comm. The device and spoke into it

“One hatchling and one Swan have left the nest. Repeat one hatchling and one Swan have left.” A response came in saying “Roger birdwatcher 1 sending in 2 foxes.”

Chapter 1: Los Betas

Back inside the City many of the Students were being assembled by the staff from an announcement by the Principal of the most prestigious Federation Training schools Brian Aeno. During the One Year War Aeno oversaw Zeon’s surrender on Side 3 and forced its surrender. He was a decorated veteran but was made the head of the Elite Officer School to appease the more dovish elements of the Federation. Ultra Magnus the City Commander noted he was more pleasant to cooperate then his Titan colleagues.

Bask Om and Jamaican grated on his wiring, despite it being his city they strolled around as if they owned the place. Their condescending attitudes didn't help either, on a training run of one of their Hizaks crashed into one of the adjacent buildings. Thankfully no one was occupying it but someone could have been injured or damaged and Bask was merely nonchalant. He didn't care about Autobot lives hell; he possibly didn't care about Federation lives.

It wouldn't tarnish his public image after the roar of support he obtained after the Delaz incident. Magnus disliked Bask not only for his cold attitude towards potential lives being lost but as well as his blind eye to his fellow thugs in the Titans. Barely two hours had passed and Magnus was barraged by reports of Titan trainees marking areas with graffiti and general roughhousing and not a single thing done to punish the perpetrators aside from a half hearted apology from Jamacan.
It’s almost as if you want to start trouble and know we won’t lift a finger he thought.

Not only that but he received a report Hot Rod deserted his post….again. Just my luck, he had to mess around just when the Titans are ready to grab us by the ball bearings for the slightest misstep. Ultra Magnus was having a very bad day and it wasn't bound to get better.

Yahagi Franziback was as equally troubled as Ultra Magnus. He left his fellow instructor Forma and Lenny to the students while he personally left to seek out Asuna for the assembly. I can’t believe that idiot ran off with one of the guards to do god knows what. She’s odd but never struck me as some kind of robophile, but regardless didn't her parents teach her not to run off with strange kitchen appliances?
Despite her greatly improved MS piloting performance Asuna was still very much the same clumsy oddball that entered Ecole.
He wouldn't dare let himself be humiliated in front of the most prestigious Piloting and Officer Schools in the Federation, and have him put at the Autobots scrutiny . During the One Year war Yahagi never really knew much about Cybertronians aside from what he saw from the Decepticons. Back when he was still piloting for Zeon’s experimental newtype units he often encountered the Air Commander Starscream. He was a vain and arrogant bot who made openly bragged to his comrades that he would someday replace Megatron and the Zabi’s with his own regimes. The more fanatical members of the Zeonic pilots became irritated by his boasts but said nothing, seeing how he could merely crush or drop them and make it look like an accident. The Decepticons seemed to have just as much infighting as the Zabi family and twice the ego and megalomania.

He was somewhat cautious of the Autobots because of this, and really had no idea what to expect from them.
Suddenly Yahagi felt his phone go off and he quickly answers. “Hello?” he says

“Instructor Franziback right? This is Blaster here the main bot in charge of communications in this city brining you an important message.” said the voice.
“How’d you get this line?” Yahagi asked. “
Man did you not hear me? I’m head of communications meaning getting your number out of the database is practically a snap. But back to the main deal Ultra Magnus told me to tell you where your student and Hot Rod sped off to in case you don’t already know. They mentioned something about going to the Forest and coming back to introduce her to Daniel in the camera recordings”

Yahagi was relieved, as soon as he caught up with Asuna he was going to chew her out until his vocal cords begin bleeding . His relief was interrupted as the ground began rocking and the sound of explosions came with it.

“Shit! We’re under attack?” Yahagi said angrily. Hovering over the blast was a mech with Hair and a Human looking face. Autobot city was possibly under attack by terrorists in strange Mechs that look like girls. This was by far the most ridiculous sight of Yahagi’s entire life.

Hot Rod was having similar sentiments as soon as he left the city he began being trailed by two Giant female figures.

“What were those things?” Asuna asked.

“No idea but they look like trouble, friends of yours?” Hot Rod quipped.

“I've never seen a Robot like those before, it’s kind of freaky how they look so human. I think I even saw it blink, who makes that a robot?” She responded.

Hot Rod heard a distress beacon go off and smoke in the horizon.

“Oh no” said Asuna. “Great mess I've got us both into now” Hot Rod mused. Asuna became worried for her friends and wondered if going back would be a wise choice or not, Hot Rod was more focused on evading the mechs shadowing the two of them or if he should fight and let Asuna run to safety somewhere. Hot Rod took a different option altogether and headed back to the city.

She should at least have a fighting chance in an MS he thought.

Ultra Magnus was extremely confused by his situation, he was being held at gunpoint by a ridiculously girly mech.

“Ultra Magnus stay where you are!” A male voice came out from it making the situation even more jarring. Not wanting to risk the Humans lives Magnus complied

“Um okay, what exactly do you want from us?” Magus asked curious for his aggressor’s motives.

“I want you to bring me Asuna Elmarit!” The Mech spoke. Magnus remembered this name as the one belonging to the student who left the city with Hot Rod and became worried. Not for his own safety of course as he doubted that thing could even dent his armor but they could easily kill members of the audience or speakers gathered at this assembly.

Magnus decided he could buy some time with some questions or distract them hopefully.

“Why do you want her? Why is one teenage girl so important?” Magnus asked. The Humanlike Mech responded with tears somehow welling from its eyes “She…she…BROKE MY HEART!” Magnus was taken aback by the sheer stupidity of his declaration.

What in Primus’s name is happening today? I’m being held hostage by strange Humanoid mechs possibly being led by a guy who came straight out of an Earthlings soap drama. This can’t be happening, this cannot be real. Please Primus let this just be a dream and I’m in sleep mode. Please!

Art Right was among those in the audience and was also totally confused by these turn of events. "Why do those mechs look like girls?" an adjacent EF student with blond pigtails asked.

"Dunno maybe they're some kind of perverts who get off to it or something" Said another student in glasses. Instantly he knew their names, Erisia Nocton and Emilu Voigtlander

Art could feel their confusion and worry about some missing friend of theirs and became annoyed by the subsequent wash of emotions the Audience gave him.

He had to get the hell out of here and get to his MS.

Unfortunately one of the girls caught him as he prepared to leave.

"Hey Mr. Titan, Er I mean sir can you help us find our friend Asuna? The terrorists announced they were looking for her? Pleeeese?" begged Emilu, the odd energetic girl with the glasses. The girl in the Pigtails Erisia disliked asking for help directly. Ego of course he thought, she has to be miss perfect at everything even in a situation like this he thought still reading her mood.

Art became irked. The last thing he wanted to do is babysit two brats in the middle of a terrorist attack but they could help keep their friend out of her pursuers hands.

"Fine alright, just stay the fuck out of my way." Said Art.

Erisia was annoyed at Arts rudeness while Emilu was overjoyed at being able to find her friend.
Quickly Art made his way covertly out of the assembly and raced in the hangers direction with the two girls in tow. Art followed by Emilu and Erisia ran across several armed students wearing Valsione masks.

Art easily dealt with one terrorist with a quick punch in the face and the other one he dodged his fire and grabbed his mask. Momentarily confused the Los beta grunt began helplessly flailing about wildly until Art took the weapon out of his grip and knocked him out.
These guys are rank amateurs. How the hell did they get past security? he thought as he commenced taking off once more.

Emilu's thoughts were insufferable, she would constantly compare Art to a bunch of action movie heroes after seeing how swiftly he incapacitated the terrorists. Erisia just kept a grudging appreciation for Arts competence in this situation.

Art couldn't care less about their opinions, to him these guys were too damn easy and he couldn't be satisfied besting weaklings like these. Something was off, he knew it but he needed to find more pieces to put together. Art continued pondering until he reached the Hanger where his Gundam was stored. He realized his opponents were as weak as shit but he could always use a good warm up to keep sharp.

"What should we do?" Erisia asked. "Find your friend and distract these guys long enough I can take out these things surrounding the assembly" responded Art, "We're just students though we've never been in a real combat situation!" Emilu chirped.
Art looked at her in the eye and said
"look I'm not telling you to fight them I'm telling you to make them pursue you so they can be open to my fire, Your not the only ones with your lives on the line and doing this can provide an opportunity to focus the Terrorists attentions away from the hostages. So either suit up or get the hell out of the way and be toasterboy's captive audience." Art lectured.
"Yeesh, no need to be so harsh about it" Emilu said.
"I am a member of the Titans, we are harsh for a even harsher world." He said while donning his helmet. Quickly the Titans Gundam flanked by two GM canards rushed out of the hanger. I am a Titan and there is no way I would loose to inferiors of the likes of Los Betas .

A young cadet stood nervously before an office desk as an older, cranberry-haired woman in a violet and black EF Lieutenant's uniform. She furrowed her brows as she skimmed over a few pages on clipboard, reclining in her chair. The cadet was doing his best to maintain his composure and proper military posture as the Lieutenant looked over the report he had handed her just moments ago. The woman gave an exasperated sigh, flipping back and forth between two pages with one eyebrow raised. Finally she just tossed the clipboard back on her desk and rubbed her temples.

"You know, this is what I hate about those assholes running the show here." She said, "They give me this report which is basically a glorified receipt and expect me to give a damn. I am an instructor. I am not here to give a shit about damage costs and I know they probably don't give a shit either seeing as their boys do far worse with those fancier suits."

The cadet gulped and stared straight ahead. He was expecting to be reamed judging by her reaction to the damage report. He'd lost control of his GM during an exercise and had taken out a corner of a nearby suit hangar. The Lieutenant before him was his instructor.

The woman let out another sigh before leaning forward in her chair, resting her elbows on the desk and peering over her folded hands. There was no fooling her. She could see he was a nervous wreck about the ordeal.

"Well, Louis. What are we gonna do with you?" She said.

"I was told I was to be suspended as punishment, Lieutenant Karako."

"And who told you that?"

"Bask Om, ma'am."

Karako let out a long sigh.

"That son of a bitch...Tell him that if I was a Mathematician I'd give a shit about pages of numbers. As an instructor, that crap is not my area. I am here to make sure the suits are operated correctly and the people I put in them are safe. You're still here so I did my job."

"You really want me to tell him that?" Louis asked.

"No. Tell him I said to not bother with reports unless they are actual reports."

"What about the suspension? How long will I be out?"

"Well, do you still want to pilot or did the little crash scare you out of it?"

"No, ma'am. I still want to pilot."

"And are you alright to pilot next exercise?"

"I'm still a little shaken up but I could still pilot, no problem."

"Then you're not suspended. Shit happens. The GM you were piloting had a short in the systems responsible for the thrusters. I'd be an asshole if I suspended you for something the mechanics should have checked out beforehand."

"But Bask said.."

"Tell him if he has a problem with that, we can have another loooong, pointless talk that goes absolutely nowhere."

"Yes, ma'am. Thank you, ma'am."

Karako went back to reclining in her chair, still annoyed with the Titans trying to tell her how to do her job. She'd been instructing for a few years. She knew what she was doing. Cadet Louis took the clipboard and turned to leave.

"Oh and stop being so damn scared of me. I'm here to make sure you kids don't kill yourselves in those machines. The worst I could do is tell you you're doing something wrong. And cuss a lot. I don't believe in that slapping "correction" bullshit they're trying to enforce."

She could see the relief wash over the cadet's face as he nodded. However, the light-hearted moment was inturrupted by the ground shaking from the force of an explosion. Louis shielded himself with the clipboard out of reflex. Karako jumped out of her chair.

"What the hell?!" She yelled.

"An explosion?!"

"No shit. You go and catch up with your classmates. I'll be there to help with evac shortly."

Louis nodded and ran while Karako peered between the blinds of her office window. She scanned the horizon from her vantage point and found nothing. She cursed under her breath and then ran out of the building along with other personnel. Outside she scanned for signs of the explosion, spotting a stream of smoke off a little ways in the distance.

"You've gotta be shitting me." she groaned.

"Lieutenant!"

"Oh what now..."

"Lieutenant Karako!"

Karako's supervisor, Ron, ran to her, panic-stricken. Ron was a bit of a chronic worrier and had a tendency to over-think things and freak out.

"What do you want, Ron?"

"Karako, we're under attack."

"Gee, I couldn't tell by the explosion and that giant-ass cloud of smoke over there."

"This is serious."

"Well I'm being serious about the fact that I already knew. Now calm down and let's get you and my students to safety."

Ron nodded and ran alongside Karako.

"So what do you think is going on?" Ron asked.

"Hell if I know."

There was a burst of gunfire ahead followed by a masked student, armed with a rifle running out from around the corner. Karako sprinted up behind them and downed the armed student with an elbow strike to the back of the neck. Ron caught up with her as she knelt down and inspected the unconscious perp.

"Tut, tut. Looks like terrorists..." Karako muttered, taking the gun.

"If that's the case then everyone except mobile suit pilots are to evacuate the training ground."

"Yep, that sounds about right."

"C'mon then."

"HA! You forget. I'm a lieutenant. I've fought a loooot of battles and shit."

"But you're an instructor and I'm your supervisor."

"As an instructor, I am to make sure my students are safe. I do believe that keeping terrorist assholes away from my students qualifies as keeping them safe."

"Karako..."

"Find Louis and make sure the rest evacuate. Get a move on!" Karako yelled as she ran off toward the hangars.

Ron muttered something about not approving before running off to find the Lieutenant's students.

Post-Slam
17 months later
Etna National Park
Outskirts of the Castello Cartel Hideout
10km from Catania, Sicily
05.03. 9:38PM

Etna National Park was famous tourist spot of the island. People all around the world could observe the still active volcano or watch the beautiful scenery of the nature and all-organic agriculture.
But the aging Adamo Conti drove there for there a completely different reason. Ever since nearly 2 years ago, the near-catastrophic event known as “The Slam”, the world underwent a big and chaotic change. Sicily was no exception. While on paper remaining under the authority of the Italian government, in effect Sicily was split into numerous turfs owned by the local crime leaders. Weapons, soldiers and new technologies flooded the market which gave these people far more power than what they previously had. These turfs in effect became tiny nation-states with their own military supporting them. Even though 70% of Sicily’s cities were not under their direct control, their influence and constant aggressions made people live in constant terror during the past two years.
It was a nightmare from which Mr. Conti wished he’d wake up soon. But the bad dream didn’t end, only intensified. After losing his daughter and his son-in-law to immediate chaos spurred from the Slam Mr. Conti was about to lose the last of his family, his grandson Elio Conti.
Two days ago Elio had been kidnapped straight from school, his bodyguards found dead. Few hours later Mr. Conti had received a phone call from a man claiming to work under the Castello Cartel, a relatively young crime group rumored to be led by the drug lord Dino Castello. They demanded no ransom, instead requested a private meeting with Mr. Conti on Wednesday night.
He was given the exact date and GPS coordinates of the meeting, explicitly told to come alone unless he wished to only get back Elio’s corpse. Mr. Conti was the major of Catania city so he could roughly guess what the kidnappers wanted but with the current state of affairs he had no choice but to follow their demands. So in the middle of the night Mr. Conti drove alone, hoping the gangsters had kept their word.
When he had arrived, Mr. Conti was welcome with the headlights of several vehicles. As expected the gangsters weren't alone. On the center there was a black limousine surrounded by 3-3 military HumVees on both sides.
Mercenaries. Most likely also drifters from another world.
Mr. Conti knew their kind and wasn't too happy to see them.
"It seems you're just in time, mayor Conti. Welcome!"
"You... You aren't Castello."
"Of course. The Don has more important matters to attend. I'm his representative, Angelo D'Antonio. And..."
"... I think you two have already meet each other, right?"
"Elio!"
"This is what you're here for, right? As for we, the Don wants you to sign a few documents. That's all."
"I knew it."
"Yes, Don Castello has no use for your chump money. What we need is something more...collateral."
"Catania!"
"Not just that but well... there's no reason to discuss such small details. We have your kid. You have your signature. I think we can reach an understanding."
"... Yes."
"Good. You're a very smart man, Mr. Conti. I think you also brought your signature device with you. If not we can just provide you with one."
"Yes. I have it with me. Let's get this over with."
"Aaah. That won't do it, signore." A distant voice said.
"Who is it? Bastard! Didn't I tell you to not involve the police?!" Angelo said nervously. Pushing the pistol's barrel against the kid's skull while turning his head around, looking for the source of the mysterious voice.
Suddenly a shadow dropped somewhere at the edge of his vision.
Few moments later two of the nearby guards fell unconscious.
"Don't be mistaken, pal. The old man has nothing to do with it. I'm only here on my own accord."
Dozens of guards moved around the same time, pointing their guns at the new figure.
Seemingly unperturbed, the unknown man calmly took a few steps, entering the space lit by the cars' headlights.
"The name's Kainé Fablesmith. The rest you'd better learn on your own."
He was a young man, roughly in his mid-20s. His face had a clear complexion with rust-red hair and vibrant green eyes. He wore jeans and something resembling a pilot jacket with a gray striped shirt underneath. But those were the least shocking.
The guy had a big sword just lazily held over the shoulder... wait!
No, on a closer look that 'sword' was rather thick and without an edge.
Its purpose seemed closer to a heavy cudgel than something one would use to tear through flesh.
That explained why Angelo's men had been just knocked out instead of getting violently cut up.
But that wasn't the issue here!
Why the hell did this unknown guy just butt in?
And he seemed strong and annoyingly confident.
That shit-eating grin just radiated the message 'You guys are no threat'.
"This doesn't explain anything! Out in the wild and in the evening. What the hell are you doing here! What's your business, huh!?" Anglo said with anger.
Kainé sighed in response. "That should be obvious by now."
"Don't try to play the smartass. Answer me or I'll blow the kid's head off!" Anglo shouted, tightening his grip on th pistol.
One wrong move and he would've really killed the boy.
"No, Elio!" Mr. Conti said, rightfully fearing the life of his grandson.
For a few seconds Kainé hung his head down, seemingly defeated.
"...Man, you really don't get it."
"What!?"
"I said it, didn't I? This old man and I have no business with each other. Why should I care about his little mutt?"
"But you di-"
"Yeah-yeah, I would rather not see a 6-year-old get his brains splattered all over the place. That boy has tons of future, you know? Unlike a certain somebody."
"Hey, I'm already 7!" Elio suddenly spoke up, correcting Kainé.
"Alright, thank you... Elio, was it?"
"Okay, where were we at? Yeah, I don't want the kiddo to die. But well, shit happens. Whether the boy lives or dies, it isn't my business." Kainé gave the cold answer. His indifference was nearly criminal in Mr. Conti's eyes but it also meant Angelo no longer had a shield.
Feeling cornered, Angelo turned the pistol away from the kid's head and aimed it on Kainé.
"You.... Bastar--- !" ...Or he was supposed to. Because at the same moment Kainé's figure disappeared.
"You let your guard down." Kainé whispered. A moment later he grabbed Elio and delivered a clean blow to Angelo's head.
The mob leader flew a good sixty meters, disappearing in the night.
Everyone stood there shocked at the unexpected development.
Kaine used this moment to crouch down and talk with Elio.
"You alright, kid?"
"Uhm." He responded weakly.
"Great! Now listen to what I say. Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Don't open it under any circumstance--!"
"Oooh, shit!" Kainé cursed. The mercs started to recover from their surprise, hastily pointing guns at their boss' killer.
"No time to talk! Hop on!" And with that Kainé quickly pulled Elio to his left shoulder.
Just a second after he was done the mercs opened fire.
But in the same instant Kainé was already on the move.
Escaping the soldiers' sight he went back several meters to get a clear overview of the enemy.
They were trained people alright. Kainé's night-perceptive vision picked up exactly 24 of them lined in a nice symmetrical formation.
Perfect for Kainé.
Striking down his weapon to the ground, he grabbed his medallion Ignis Caligulae. The pedant glowed with an ominous red light accompanied by steaming black smoke when he finally invoked:
[[Manus Noctis Duplex Maximae]]
Suddenly two giant hands manifested at both sides, enough to cover all soldiers. They had an ominous black texture, they were magic creations of shadowy mist.
[[IM---PACT!!!]] Kainé shouted.
In that instant the two giant palms closed on each other, squashing all soldiers caught within.
By some miracle, aside from minor concussion, the mercs remained unharmed. Yet for some reason they couldn't get up, like they were put in coma.
Indeed, the soldiers were afflicted with a minor curse that sapped their life force. While not particularly lethal the soldiers couldn't wake up in for a few hours or so.
"Phew, that's for one! Now let's get rid of this baggage. Kid, you can open your eyes now."
Kainé carefully put the boy down.
"It's over boy. Took care of all the baddies. Now get back to your grandpa!"
He said. This was the first time he saw Elio smile. The boy and his grandfather could finally reunite.
(Yeah, completely worth it.)
Thought Kainé with satisfaction as he watched the two getting back to the car.
Before sitting behind the driver's seat,Mr. Conti turned around for a last time, looking back at the young man.
"Thank you Sir..."
"Kainé. Kainé Fablesmith. And I just did what I wanted to do. No need to thank me. Instead make sure that kid never gets to experience this again."
"...Yeah."
Mayor Adamo Conti wished he could bombard the youth with tons of questions.
Who is he? Where is he from? What's his goal? Or What was that strange power he used?
But seeing the youth's general attitude it was unlikely he'd give any answers.
"What are you waiting for? Move, old man! I'm pretty sure this place will be flooded by Castello's man in an hour. Hurry!" Kainé told him impatiently. Saving the kid was one thing but Kainé was never too good at protecting people.
(Why? Why do I know that? Is that a fragment of my past or something?)
Kainé pondered as he watched the major's car gradually disappearing in the distance…

The Moon, some time after The Slam

Unicron, the Chaos Bringer, sending down lightning like a wrathful god punishing impudence. A brightness searing the optics follows, then darkness takes hold. The body shatters like glass, then becomes dust. Those were the last events Starscream remembers before waking up on Earth's moon. He shouldn't be even standing here. How and why was he revived? What is the reason he was brought here? Even then, there is one more question. Who is the shadowed crowned figure that appears in his mind? The flashes of him come randomly and each time they happen, he feels a sharp pain that stabs at his neural circuits. The silhouetted Cybertronian, whose frame appears similar to his own, spouts how weakness should be purged. Other images show him in agony, howling as if seeking to exorcise some illness out of himself. What possible connection could these fragmented events have to himself?

There's no use pondering these questions here. Starscream transforms into his jet mode and zooms toward Earth. Perhaps there he can find some clues. As he speeds towards his destination, he wonders how much the planet has changed during his absence. A small part of himself worries about potential dangers, but he immediately pushes any hesitation aside. Where else could he go anyway?

Art’s plan was going forward as the two students had entered contact with the Los betas and began taking chase. Art was hidden in the forest lying in wait for his trap to be sprung. Just as he predicted the betas guarding the assembly hall chased after the Canard’s in an undisciplined fashion. The Valsione’s seemed to want them alive as they avoided aiming at vital points but were poor shots. Suddenly the sound of a blaster firing twice rang out and the two mechs were obliterated. The blasts belonged to a red Autobot carrying a young girl in the other hand. The hell did they come from? Art wondered

* * *

Shin was hiding in the bathroom stall praying no one would enter. Jeez can’t a guy head off to take care of business in peace without risk of getting shot? He thought. A more important concern crossed his mind, his friends were out there. He didn't know what these guys wanted or who and a lot of weird stuff was happening with the school incident and this could be connected. Shin was utterly powerless in this situation and he hated every second of it. His thoughts were interrupted by the sounds of footsteps. Ah crap

Dream had left his captive audience after making his declaration for using the bathroom. While he began entering the room he noticed a stall door was locked.
“Get out!” Dream shouted as he drew his weapon.
“Dude I know you’re a terrorist and all but can’t you at least let a guy go on bathroom break?” The student said obviously lying. Dream recognized his voice and realized he was the boy Asuna paid attention to rather than him. A dark impotent rage filled Dream. He shot the door open and dragged the boy away with his gun still on him

* * *

“What were you doing?”Hot Rod shouted. He was far from thrilled with the fact a Titans officer was using two of his new friend’s classmates as live bait.
“I was drawing the terrorists away from the Assembly machine. We've thinned the ones holding our superiors hostage, now we can soon take steps to begin extraction from the area.”
“You could have asked anyone in the staff rather than two students to get involved in combat.”
“Didn't you say you were headed towards the hanger Robot?”
“For her own safety, we were being chased by two of those things earlier and we don’t know when they might start shooting, I’d get one of the powersuits but those training GM’s seem to have better armoring”
“For all I know you could have been planning to use her as a meatshield, hell how do I know you Autobots aren't working with them!?” Art began shouting
“Are you nuts? We would never work with terrorists, especially not these goofballs!”
“Whatever, but remember this, these students are training to be soldiers. They’ll face war eventually whether you’re holding their hand or not machine. “
Art began walking to his Mobile Suit
“This Machine has a name pal!” Hot Rod said to his back
“Just stay the hell out of my way; I’m going to take these insurgents on my own seeing how you lack the guts to do what’s necessary.”
“No way am I letting you go out there to put more lives at risk, you’re the one who uses people as shields!”
“I was using them as bait, big difference.”
Hot Rod gave up arguing, this guy was a real piece of work. If this was what the Titans were about he’d have no part in working with these psychopaths.

“You’re okay!!!” Emilu began shouting as she was hugging the life out of Asuna. While the life was being choked out of her Asuna managed to cough out a question “W-where’s Shin?”
“We thought he went looking for you?” Erisia said eyes wide with shock.
“Maybe he had to go?” Emilu said dorkishly
“Then he’s a hostage just like everyone else”
“Does this mean we have to go with the angry Titians guy?” Asuna asked
“Ugh not that psycho” Emilu groaned
“What other choice do we have?” Erisia said flatly
“Aw we’re gonna get lectured again”
“Your right Erisia...we have to do what we can to help rescue everyone” Even if this guy is just looking out for his next commendation Asuna thought to herself.

Art took his Mobile Suit into the city and began charging at the closest Los Beta’s mech he could find, its weapons bounced off his armor like pellets. The soulless eyes of the mech betrayed the fear the pilots felt in his heart. Art cared for nothing but slaughtering him like a pig at a barn, his bloodlust was spurred on by what the Autobot had said to him. Yeah he was using the kids as bait, so what? He knew his superiors had a lot invested into acquiring them but if they couldn't survive fighting these rejects they aren't worth the time it takes to groom them to be soldiers. He was willing to do what it takes to accomplish his objective; no machine has the right to tell him what to do.
The Los Beta’s mechs irritated him in a different way, they were soft and weak. Every flaw he saw from the machine he had been arguing with prior personified in a single unit cranked up. It was as if God himself was mocking him with these monstrosities. He quickly drew his beam javelin to bring this cosmic joke to bring it to a screeching end.
The Black Gundam swung the weapon at the cockpit of the Humanoid mech, it attempted to protect itself from the melee assault by raising its arms but they merely melted away. Art then fired his vulcans into the armless heap standing in his way, causing it to explode then crash into a nearby building. In its stead two more Valsione's came at him with bladed weapons. Art in turn put away his javelin and unsheathed both of his beam Sabers. Before the Beta’s mechs could move any further Art dashed and swiftly chucked both sabers into the cockpits. Art began laughing wildly at his victory. This is one hell of a workout!

Preet began tying the young man Shin to his mech all the while babbling.
“You made me do this! You caused her to break my heart!” Said Preet
“What are you talking about? Preet you need to calm down man you can still stop this-“Shin was cut off from his attempt to reason with this lovesick madman
“SHUT UP! Look at you trying to be Mr. nice guy to the end! I’M A NICE GUY TOO , why does she care so much about you?”
“Preet seriously I don’t know what you are talking about. Just let me go and call this shit off man”
NOI have a new lover and new power with her; I’ll take Asuna's precious Shin and destroy him for all to see!”
“He’s right; you should let him go Preet. “ Said a cutesy feminine voice came from his mecha
“No he’s humiliated me, they all have. I told you before Preet is no one’s Cuckold!”
“This is going too far Preet, he seems to be really nice, and you aren't. No wonder girls like him more”
“Shut up! Don’t you dare criticize me! I brought us this far already! I won’t stand for dissent even from you!”
“Preet your being scary, I don’t like you when you’re like this”
You said it sister thought Shin
“I said shut up! I know what the fuck I’m doing!”
“Preet please dude, this is fucked up enough. Just bring an end to this craziness” Shin said again trying to negotiate
“Oh I will end this, along with you and everyone else who laughed at me with it ahaahahahahhahahahahhahahahahah!”

Day Of The Slam + 2 hours
Axiom Nexus

The halls of the Transtech Military Science Division are abuzz with activity. An event the likes of which has never been seen before has occurred. While such things have happened in the past this one is so far out of the norm it has astounded everyone. Brainwave, a young Transtech Scientist has been called before Shockwave for a special mission to investigate this shocking turn of events!

"Ah Brainwave, excellent response time."

"What is it you need of me Lord Shockwave?"

"I'm sure you're aware we have detected an unprecedented anomaly. It is unprecedented in was that make unprecedented sound insignificant."

"And I am to investigate it, yes I'm aware. What I am not aware of are the details about it."

Shockwave walks over to his office window and looks out at his subordinates.

"What I am about to tell you does not leave this room. The anomaly detected is giving off readings that match the Unicron Singularity..."

Shockwave turns to study Brainwave's reaction. Brainwave, in turn, jerks to attention.

"That's... absurd. Primus destroyed it."

"Yes Brainwave. But that alone is not what makes this even so exceptional. It has appeared in a place where it shouldn't be able to exist."

Quizzically Brainwave glaces at Shockwave.

"How so?"

"The readings are coming from outside the multiverse. I don't mean outside the mapped multiverse, I mean outside it entirely. And it appears to be merging with something else."

The confusion on the young Transtech's face would be humorous in other circumstances but not these.

"Brainwave, you are to lead a two man team to investigate and if necessary neutralize any threat caused by this event. If... if such a thing is even possible."

The gravity of the situation hitting on Brainwave steels himself to do his duty.

"I understand but I must ask, why me? Why not a more senior researcher? And why just two?"

"To be blunt you are currently expendable. And while you're expendable you are the most skilled of the non senior staff. In fact your skills already rival several of them. If you had been able to stay here I have no doubts you'd be one of the greatest scientists in Transtech history but fate has not allowed for such a thing. As for the number. As I said it is outside the multiverse. The power to send an entire scientific team with full security is... impractical. A two man team will have to suffice."

"I assume I'm allowed to pick my partner for this mission."

Shockwave walks back to his desk and sits down

"Yes, anyone you see fit that is below you in rank."

Calculating variables in his head Brainwave comes to a decision.

"I know exactly who I want for this mission, the Predacon that calls himself Joe."

Shockwave's reaction was exactly what you'd expect from hearing something so crazy it just might be genius.

"HIM? You are aware of exactly who he is right? Everything that he has done?"

"Yes, I am aware. He is the reason we had to refamiliarize ourselves with that universal stream. But the facts remain. He has had experience with Unicron, he is expendable as I doubt the multiverse would mourn his loss, he is available currently sitting in prison for the Key Incident."

"That is not to be spoken of in my presence!" Shockwave quickly interjected.

"My apologies my lord. There is one last reason I'd like to have him along if I may continue."

"Proceed." Shockwave bellowed sounding annoyed.

"His cunning. Against Unicron one can not underestimate the value of an abstract trait like that. Besides no one will care if I need to experiment on him."

Sighing Shockwave prepared to concede the point. "Your argument is logical even with his... checkered past. I will make the call but any consequences of this will be on your head."

Feeling pleased with this he allowed his ego to flare. "Of course Lord Shockwave, what kind of leader would I be if I did not accept responsibility for my decisions." Came Brainwave's reply as he got up to leave Shockwave's office.

"Watch that ego Brainwave, you haven't earned it yet and it just might bite you in the skid plate."

"I'll keep that in mind" Said brainwave gesturing over his soldier as he walked out.

Transtech Maximum Security Lockup + 2 hours 40 minutes

The warden awaits the arrival of the scientist who requested Joe's release.

"Ah you must be Brainwave."

Brainwave stops to study the warden.

"That's right. Do you need something of me?"

"Yes..." Fidgeting as he tries to come up with the words for his request. "I know Shockwave has cleared him for release and I don't have the authority to overturn his orders but I implore you... Whatever it is you're being sent to do pick someone else. He is one of the most dangerous criminals in the history of the multiverse!"

Making an annoyed expression Brainwave replies. "As I told Shockwave I am aware of who he is and what he's done. He has skills that will be useful for what I am tasked to do and that's all there is to it."

With a sour look on his face the warden concedes. "As you wish but you will be damned by the consequences of this! Follow me."

Walking down the many long corridors of prisoners that committed crimes grave enough to be locked away forever.

"Here he is, have fun with your monster..."

Glancing towards the warden one last time Brainwave left him with one last reassurance. "Trust me the situation is grave enough to take this gamble. That is all you need to know." and proceeded to enter the cell.

"Joe I presume..."

"Ha... ha... ha..." Came the sarcastic response.

"Don't blame me, you invented the name Joe Convoy"

His rage flaring Megatron replied. "That was simply to get the..."

"MacGuffin." Brainwave finished for him. "Yes, Megatron I'm aware. We had to study your history after you pulled that."

"What do you want Transtech?"

Brainwave approached the would be tyrant. "Your skills."

"I'm sorry, you're going to have to elaborate. I can't figure why you'd be interested in anything I can do."

"Because Megatron." Brainwave stopped and turned back towards the door. "You have experience with HIM."

"Oh, THAT GUY is causing problems again?" Megatron's curiosity getting the best of him.

"That's right. If you want the full details agree to help me. You will be given a full pardon and given a free trip off Axiom Nexus. No paper work, no lines, no memories of any of this. How does that grab you?"

"It grabs me just fine, yes. I assume there will be a reformatting for the mission. I am, after all, rather conspicuous."

"Of course, armament and all. We can't have a dinosaur walking around after all. I assume that is a yes?"

"Of course it is considering the alternative." Megatron bellows.

"Excellent, I'll have you escorted to reformatting at once. Shockwave has prepared the necessary information to be installed in the process. Do not speak of it to anyone until we are deployed."

"Oh you Transtechs and your secrets. One might get the wrong impression of you, yes."

Transtech Military Dimensional Transit + 3 hours 20 minutes

"How are you adjusting to your "new" body."

"An upgraded version of my old exoframe, very nice."

"Alright, we need to lay out some ground rules before we leave. You will answer to Joe Convoy or simply Joe."

Megatron looking at him in disbelief. "You must be kidding."

"No, I'm not." Came the matter of fact reply

"You're not funny."

"Humor was not my intent. Megatron is a very dangerous name. The fact that you hate Joe is simply a bonus."

Sarcastically. "I'm sure."

"Moving on, the shoulder missile. It's disabled. Don't bother trying it."

"Oh now you're just being an ass." Frustration getting to Megatron.

"Oh come now you didn't think we'd just let you run around with a weapon that powerful did you? Be practical. If it is needed I will reactivate it. The cannon will still work so get over it."

"Is there anything else I should know?"

"That depends, do you think the sentient safeguard we implanted in you to make sure you behave is important?"

"I'm going to remember this Transtech,"

"I'm sure you'll get over it when we delete this portion of your memory unless you actually want to remember prison. Just behave and don't try to mess with it and everything will be fine. I'm reasonably sure we've accounted for every method you might try to disable it."

"I can already tell you're going to be as insufferable as Tarantulas."

"Indeed. One last thing before we go. This is Unicron we're potentially dealing with. Don't be surprised if we don't land at the target time."

And so it begins...

Delta Cephei System

Amidst the wreckage of various ships and battle mechs, the Astafanel remains pristine. No damage befell it, thanks to its ability to slow down time itself and the skills of its pilot, Rastun. The floating hunks of space debris were once space pirates that terrorized this sector. Normally, they would have been left to the local law enforcement if not for the fact that they stumbled into technology that removes chunks of the timeline. Naturally, they were first given a chance to surrender the forbidden technology, but they refused as most do and now the pirates became nothing more than scrap. Rastun would have recovered the tech, but the pirates already activated it and he had no time to disarm the device, so he opted for its destruction instead. The Overseers would understand since they value the stability of the timeline above all else.

As if on cue, Rastun gets a comm message from Overseer HQ.

"Agent Rastun, have you completed your mission?"

"Yes, sir," Rastun responds. "The threat has been eliminated and the timeline didn't become any more unstable than it already is."

"Good work. Did you recover the device?"

"No sir, I was forced to destroy it," Rastun flatly responded. There would be no regrets over the loss of a potential hazard. He added, "The device was already armed and there was no time to deactivate it, I had little choice."

"Understandable. Now that we know of your status, it's time to give you a new mission. You are to investigate two individuals who have recently warped into this sector's timeline." A holographic star chart pops up in his cockpit, along with its set coordinates.

"That's a pre-Slam timeline! What makes these two so special that they'd warrant pursuit, sir?" Rastun asked.

"They are Cybertronians who do not appear to be affiliated with the ones we know of. Readings suggest their warp methods are similar to our own and they may have other technology comparable to ourselves. Whoever these two are, they must be watched carefully."

Rastun understands somewhat, but is still hesitant and replies, "With all due respect sir, contact with High Command would be near-impossible the moment I set foot in that timestream. Plus, aren't there more suitable agents than myself for this kind of mission?"

"Yes, but there are still windows of opportunity available for communication due to spacetime fluctuations. Out of everyone in our organization, you are the one who is most acutely aware of these changes in reality. You're the only one we can depend on at the moment for this assignment, especially since others are busy with their own tasks."

He sighs at this news. Rastun never was one for recon and surveillance, especially in a timeline predating the Slam, but High Command apparently has far too much faith in him. Either that, or they're very overzealous about others having comparable technology to themselves. "Understood, sir," he merely says. The comm links then closed on both sides and a rift in spacetime appeared in front of the Astafanel, opening itself up to fit the machine within its maw. Rastun plunges inside and after he does so, the rift closes. Hopefully whatever waited for him on the other side wouldn't be too chaotic.

Unicron Investigation Team Touchdown
Date: Unknown

Appearing in a bright flash of light Brainwave and Joe make their landing in an unknown yet strikingly familiar city. As the light fades they survey their surroundings for the first time in amazement.

"Well I can't say this is what I was expecting at all." The shock in Brainwave's voice evident. "Scans indicate we did make contact with the Unicron Singularity but... it only appears to be in its beginning stages at this point it time. This doesn't mesh with the readings in Axiom Nexus. I can only conclude we have been thrown back in time."

"Hm, I can only that means we are completely cut of from the Transtechs."

"Indeed Joe. Whatever happened, whatever is going to happen, it is up to us and us alone to stop it."

"I like the sound of that." Megatron said while snickering as he began his plotting. The potential of hijacking Unicron's power weighing heavily on his mind.

"You're a fool if you're really plotting that. The last sap that tried that got possessed." Brainwave walked off while continuing his scans paying little head to Megatron's ambitions. "This city..."

"At first glance it looks like a modified version of Autobot City but that would be absurd, yes."

"Absurd as it sounds it is Autobot City. Primax 984.17 Alpha to be precise. But clearly modified with technology from an unknown source. Not sure why they'd bother unless they were strapped for resources. In any case our first priority is setting up a base of opperations. Preferably away from here. The last thing we need is Lowtech Autobots getting in the way."

"Hey you!." An unknown voice echoed across the alley snapping Brainwave from his thoughts. "Who are you and what are you doing here?"

Studying the unknown mech Brainwave noted several things. First it was piloted by an organic, second it was using Lowtech Cybertronian technology. "Why exactly would they share their technology with a race as primitive as you? Do you even have FTL technology yet?"

"Silence Decepticon, I'm the one asking questions here!" The pilot's voice coming out as forceful as he could manage.

"How dare you try to brand me with such an arbitrary term. On my planet Autobot and Decepticon is a meaningless distinction. Don't try to lay Lowtech stupidity like that war they always have on me." Brainwave's patients for the primative quickly evaporating as Megatron laughed in the background.

"Look, you entered a Titan military base without clearance. You're both coming with me."

The indignant glare the pilot received from Brainwave made his blood run cold. "Listen here you stupid primitive, DO NOT tell me what to do. It was not my intention to land here and I will be going as soon as I decide where I want to go. I have no interest in your Lowtech city. Now begone!"

"I... I can't do that. I'm base security and I have my orders." His fear readily apparent.

"Oh please let me deal with the silly human, I owe them some payback. Yes!" Joe's sneer further terrifying the pilot.

"St...stop or I'll shoot!" Practically shivering in terror at this point.

"Oh enough of this." Declared Brainwave as he remote hacked and deactivated the mech. "Ignore the Lowtechs, we have far more pressing matters."

"As you wish." Grumbled Megatron as the pilot sat in his darkened cockpit completely in shock of what just transpired. Elsewhere another human watched in fascination at the pair you were so unconcerned with their security and so easily brushed off a security unit. "Most interesting. If their technology is advanced as he seems to be boasting we must have it so no one will ever dare challenge us again." His excitement was evident but he knew he must tread lightly for if their technology was as advanced as it seemed to be capturing them would be exceptionally hard. Especially if the leader of the team was a Decepticon. "Come on, let's get out of this stupid city." Brainwave declared. "Get me Los Betas. I have a job for them." The Titan's base commander smirking as he figured he'd be dealing with two birds with one stone. Getting rid of some useless idiots and gathering some necessary intel in the process.

The alien Cybertronians barreled through the city in their vehicle modes leaving base security off balance and confused. Anyone that had managed to line up a shot found their mobile suit disabled before they could pull the trigger. Others had no idea what they were looking for because of the communications disruptions caused by the mass hackings. This was something beyond their capabilities to deal with. It required someone special to deal with. It required an ace pilot! Sadly they weren't getting one...

"Preet, get ready for launch. You have a target." This is the moment Preet had been waiting for. A chance to prove his greatness, to prove the value of his ways. Sadly for Preet everything he thought was simply a set up. Something he'd learn eventually but not today.

"Alright Los Betas it's time to show the world what we can do! Time to make everyone that ever laughed at us eat their words! Move out." While the team cheered as they moved out every Titan that knew anything snickered at their confidence knowing they were about to get their asses kicked.

Brainwave and Megatron neared the exit of the city with no more resistance in sight. They thought they were home free until a cannon shot hit in front of them. "Halt evil doers!" Transforming they prepared for battle against the exceptionally odd looking mechs.

"You should just let us go if you know what's good for you. I have no interest in ridiculous primitives. If you force this I make no promises about your survival." For anyone with a semblance of sanity Brainwave's curt warning would have been considered but Preet was not a sane individual. He had been convinced he was an elite Titan pilot and he intended to prove it or die trying.

Drawing his sword Preet charged at Brainwave intent on cutting him in two. At the last second Brainwave caught the wrist of Preet's mech stopping the strike dead in its tracks. "You know this is really pathetic. Not only does your mech make you look like an imbecile it's weaker than a newborn protoform. Face it you're way out of your league kid." Delivering a swift kick to the torso Brainwave sent Preet's mech flying into a building all but flattening it. "I'm going to say it one more time, stand down if you know what's good for you."

All Preet could do was groan in pain having been caught completely off guard by the power of this unknown Cybertronian. It'd be a few minutes before he got his bearings. The rest of Los Betas prepared to charge in the name of their leader. "Well if you insist on being idiots we'll make you regret it." As the first two members of Los Betas made their charge Brainwave and Megatron pulled their guns and disabled them with a single shot each. The rest of Los Betas having the first clever idea of this deployment decided to swarm en mass from multiple directions. Sadly they were too slow and the Cybertronians dodged all their sword strikes with easy. One of the more strategic members took an opening to nail Megatron with a cannon shot while he was dodging a sword blow. Megatron took a single step back and laughed. "You're have to do far better than that weakling! Put some effort into it." Throughly enjoying himself toying with the helpless squadron not even bothering to counter attack.

Meanwhile Branwave had been disabling them with a combination of crack aiming, very crude close combat techniques, and nanite infusion as he avoided their attacks. "You know Joe, this would go a lot faster if you stopped dicking around and started KOing a few of them. Maybe with that spiffy sword I gave you..." By this point Megatron had stopped dodging completely realizing they couldn't hurt him at all. "Bah fine I'll stop playing around." Summoning his sword from transwarp space Megatron began downing them with equal ease and in short order the squad was completely disabled. "Primitives are such an irritant." Brainwave sighed. Preet woke up as Brainwave was checking his downed squad. Seeing Brainwave was off guard Preet made charged blind with rage. Before he even got to Brainwave he felt something else hit him, much harder than before. Megatron hadn't stopped paying attention and blindsided Preet mid charge not that Preet would have hurt Brainwave at all. It was just funny.

"You know I injected that stupid mech with nanites the first time I grabbed it right?" Brainwave said while making sure he injected them into the rest of the squad just in case.

"It's not like he was going to hurt you anyways I just found it amusing."

Having finished Brainwave looked at Megatron. "Whatever. Let's get out of here and find a place to set up a base." Transforming back to vehicle mode they left the city leaving 3 city blocks heavily damaged by their melee, all of Los Betas disabled by some means or another, and eleven security units remote hacked. The Titans would never forget this day and neither would Preet.

Somewhere in Earth's orbit

A white Chronoframe emerges from a rift and hangs above the blue planet like an ominous angel of death. However, the purpose is not to bring conflict, but to merely observe. According to the readings from HQ, the two have landed somewhere in Autobot City. Rastun flies towards it, being careful to fly just out of their sensor ranges while being close enough to do reconnaissance. After several moments, he arrives at his destination and what he sees is a total mess. Several ridiculous looking mechs, each with the unnerving artificial face modeled after a woman's, lie either disabled non-lethally or hacked to pieces with some blade. The entire city block itself became a casualty of this skirmish. Judging from the scene of the one-sided battle, these mechs likely attempted to swarm one or two targets, only to be demolished. The ones who caused this chaos are more than likely the two mystery Cybertronians Rastun is supposed to be investigating. It's of little surprise that they are capable of overcoming opponents like those if the pair is as technologically advanced as High Command claims.

Rastun continues to hover over the ruined cityscape, and finds inactive security systems which were likely hacked in some manner. He simply shakes his head at the damage they caused. Those two aren't making this investigation any easier. If there are any other Titans that stumble onto Rastun, they'd go on high alert and swarm him due to their panic. Clearly, hoping for less chaos is a mistake on Rastun's part. He'd prefer not to get wrapped up in petty territorial and political disputes, but something tells him he won't have much of a choice.

Several miles outside Autobot City

Sighing Brainwave takes notice of another signal following them. One that can't be dealt with so easily. "Why does someone always have to complicate this mission?"

"Oh, we have another imbecile following us? How can you be sure?"

"Oh I don't know someone using dimensional transit similar to ours, coming out of it in the exact same spot we did, following the destruction we caused. Need I go on?"

Megatron couldn't argue with the conclusion unless one believed in coincidence and really what Transformer was dumb enough to believe in that? "This obviously isn't going to be as simple as beating the scrap out of them like those losers back there. Let me do the plotting."

Brainwave considered the option but decided to err on the side of caution and see what the mysterious tracker wanted figuring if they followed the Transtech dimensional transit they may be interested in minimizing anomalies thus making them useful. "No, we'll see what they want first. I have a hunch they might be useful. Make a back up plan obviously but don't act till it's clear we can't settle things amicably."

"Did the "narrator" say something interesting I should know about?" Asked Megatron curious what prompted the Transtech to take such a gamble.

"No, not yet. This is simply a hunch on my part just like my hunch bringing you would be useful. We'll find a place to stop and wait for our pursuer to catch up outside of the Titans operational area."

Megatron couldn't help but be amused how reckless Brainwave was being but complied with his wishes. Half an hour later the pair found a valley that would provide cover from primitive air surveillance but allow the mystery individual find them and they waited as Megatron worked out the fine details of his plan as Brainwave hoped he wouldn't have to use it. Maybe after this was dealt with they could finally look for a site to set up a god damn base but the way this day is going that seems rather unlikely...

Autobot City: Meeting the Mystery Duo

None of the Titans have yet to encounter Rastun, but that can change at any moment. He has to find these two as soon as possible and figure out their intentions before he gets mobbed by angry fools in their toy mechs. The signals are moving outside Autobot City and Rastun carefully follows them as he stays out of range from any active leftover security. He doesn't know whether or not the two Cybertronians have already figured out they're being followed, but he can't rule out the possibility of them already knowing. Still, they made no moves to evade him, nor have they attempted to engage him in combat. So far, so good, he thinks.

After several moments of careful stalking, Rastun winds up on a nearby valley, outside of any Titan influence. The signals just stayed there, no movement from them whatsoever. Did they really think they escaped danger and foolishly stayed in one place out of a misguided sense of security? No, that couldn't be it. They rooted themselves there not to hide, but to wait. During this whole assignment so far, neither Cybertronian attempted to shake him off. At first, Rastun thought he was doing his job well, but now, especially after the signals simply stayed in this valley, he thinks otherwise. This is why I shouldn't do recon.

If they were going to ambush him, they'd likely have already done so. It appears they want him to make the first move, and Rastun obliges by opening up his comm channel, and modulates his frequency to their signals so only they can hear him. He kept himself close enough for the appearance of willing communication, but far back enough to convey he still didn't fully trust them.

"I am Overseer Agent Rohnosc Rastun, though I doubt both of you know about my organization. I gather you are already aware of my presence, which is why I chose to openly communicate. With that said, I must ask what your purpose here is."

The Meeting Place: The Story Of Unicron

"I am Overseer Agent Rohnosc Rastun, though I doubt both of you know about my organization. I gather you are already aware of my presence, which is why I chose to openly communicate. With that said, I must ask what your purpose here is."

With his theory all but confirmed Brainwave prepares to reveal the history of the greatest monster the Transformers multiverse has ever produced, well the greatest monster anyone wants to acknowledge anyways...

Megatron observes the behavior of the new mech studying its every move. "Hm, very clever. Making himself visible to mack contact but far enough away to minimize the chance of attack. He is very shrewd, if he can't be reasoned with me must destroy him quickly."

"Yes Joe, I agree." Adjusting his com signal to match Rastun Brainwave sends his reply. "I'm curious why you care what our intentions are but since I suspect we want the same thing I'll indulge you. We're here to prevent the spread of a deadly anomaly that once threatened our home multiverse with total annihilation. It was spawned by the death of one of our local deities who desires nothingness in the most literal sense of the word. His entire purpose is to destroy everything that exists leaving an empty void. Even in death this cannot be stopped. The anomaly is a cataclysmic black hole that devours all, I do mean that quite literally, and very nearly succeeded in doing that to our multiverse if not for his brother destroying it though this resulted in restoring his physical form. And now the singularity has returned here, in a place it never should have existed, and it shall merge with another anomaly in the near future amplifying its power to levels I dare not consider. Simply put if it is not stopped everything everywhere will be in danger."

Megatron subtly prepares to initiate his plan if the reply they get isn't acceptable and the pair waits for Rastun's response to the nightmare scenario presented to him.

Etna National Park
Outskirts of the Castello Cartel Hideout
10km from Catania, Sicily

Kainé watched the mayor's car disappear in the night while pondering on his previous thought.
It had been over a year since he lost his memories. He had been in mid-transit between dimensions when a catastrophic event shook the entire multiverse. This lead to his Magius Mechanicus getting seriously damaged while the traumatic experience struck him with amnesia. Kainé subsequently got dropped out into a different universe with having no way to leave. Ever since then Kainé was wandering on the Earth, helping whoever was in need while hoping to regain his memories.

Kainé's thoughts suddenly were interrupted by a familiar voice.
"Bastard, so you did take care of everyone." It was Angelo, who had been sent flying a few minutes ago. His previously suave tuxedo was in tatters and his forehead had an obvious indentation mark on it.
"The surprise is mine. I thought I really killed you with that one." Kainé said while turning to face the mobster.
"Certamente. A human could've been crushed to pulp with that blow. Fortunately, just like you signore, I'm no ordinary man."
"A cyborg, huh."
"Indeed. Your extraordinary power is great but let's see how you handle THIS!" Angelo exclaimed. Moments latter Kainé could feel tremorous noises, heavy metallic footsteps. They are giant robots. Multiple of them! And they're heading straight for Kainé's position.
They were also remarkably fast. It didn't even take a minute and Kainé could already see the silhouettes of several giant mechs.
"They are the Savages of the Kuroinu Corps. Kuroinu is an Asian word for black hound. They will chase you down and spell doom on you! HAHAHAHA!" Angelo gloated, certain of victory. Indeed, Kain could see 10 mechanical giants clad in black. All had their guns fixed on him. Yet he didn't feel anxious. Instead...
"Is that all?" Kainé voiced his disappointment.
" Did you expect me to transform into a gain fire-breathing monster or what?"
"Actually, yes. It wouldn't be the first time, at least
."Kainé said nonchalantly, rendering Angelo speechless for a while.
"... Trying to be the funny guy, eh? You may be strong but you have no chance here. These little toys are faster than an Olympic athlete, tougher than a tank and have more firepower than an attack chopper. Consider yourself dead!"
"Sure, in a minute. But first tell me, did you also order these guys on the old man's tail?" Asked Kainé. He wanted to know if the kid and his grandpa were safe. If not, things could be getting complicated.
"Hah! Worrying about the life of others instead of your own? How noble!" Angelo told mockingly and then pulled out a large trigger.
"A detonator!" It didn't take much for Kainé to know what was going on.
"Yes. You see, the Don never had the intention to leave that old fart alive. So we put a powerful micro-bomb into the kid's watch. When I push this button everything in the range of a city block is reduced to charcoal. HAHAHA!" Gloated the mobster.
At the same time all blood froze in Kainé's veins.
(Dammit...Talk about shit luck.)
Kainé helped the kid and his grandfather because he wanted to, but it didn't mean he was such a selfless person. While rescuing the boy Kainé noticed a particularly expensive-looking watch, perhaps a Rolex. An adventurer must forever struggle with living expenses. So Kainé used the confusion to stole the watch as a compensation. He was sure the kid would never miss it anyways. So whatever.
But apparently Kainé's greed almost caused him to kick the bucket.
Unknown to Angelo he could've easily killed his opponent with a push of a button.
"What is it? Too shocked for words? Can't blame you here. All your efforts were for naught, wannabe hero! I push the trigger and in 3 seconds that old fuck is getting blown to kingdom come! You can't do anything here!" As usual, Angelo misinterpreted Kainé's reaction, not realizing he was holding the adventurer hostage.
"Wait! Three seconds!?" Kainé suddenly asked, relizing something crucial.
"Yes, there's a short timer before the bomb activates. But don't even try it! Not even you could reach them that fast. If you are lucky enough you'd see a bright flash as the old man will be reduced to nothing! Are you ready to face failure!?" With that Angelo activated the detonator's timer.
(Oh well, here goes my bonus.)
"Three" Kainé immediately began to counting back aloud.
"What are you..."
"...Two"
"Wait, why do..."
"...One-" In that moment Kainé threw the watch straight towards Angelo.
"No, that's impossib-" That was the time the confused Angelo finally realized what was going on.
But he was already too late.
Meanwhile Kainé clutched his medallion and erected a magic barrier.
In the next instant a giant explosion shook everything.
For long moments a bright flash covered Kainé's vision.
Once it cleared he saw a burning deep crater.
It was obvious that no traces of Angelo were left.
The only reason Kainé survived because he was well in the blast's perimeter.

"Phew. Remind me to second-check the spoils before taking them again." Kainé could finally relax a bit but his battle was far from over.
Angelo was dead but the enemy robots were still active.
The explosion momentarily knocked them out but it's only a matter of seconds before they start shooting at him.
(What to do, then? Summon Nox? Nah, forget it)
His Magius Mechanicus was still recuperating from the previous battle so the magic condensers were half empty.
Using its power here would be a waste.
So did he thought.
And this way of thinking immediately formed into action.
Not giving his enemy time to recover, Kainé boosted his power to its limits.
[[Impetum Fragor Maximum!!!]] He exclaimed and in the same moment his body seemingly turned into a bolt of lightning.
Without any intention of holding back Kainé ran towards the enemy at full speed, enveloped in an aura of crackling bolts of lightning.
His target was the machine in the center.
Unlike the others it had a red emblem on its left shoulder, perhaps implying it being the commander.
It barely took a split second before Kainé's weapon met the steel of the enemy machine.
The impact unleashed a violent torrent of magical explosions, releasing a deafening noise.
But more importantly this attack had enough force to blast the mecha into tiny pieces, scattering its fragments everywhere.
That was obviously an overkill and Kainé knew it.
His body already felt the backlash after performing such a reckless maneuver.
Yet he felt that attack worth all the risk.
What he did was a demonstration. To show what he's truly capable of.
He just destroyed their leader in the quickest and most violent way possible.
Whatever sense of discipline and sense of security they had, that was all gone.
So Kainé didn't waste any time and in the midst of chaos he rushed for the next target.
He used the mech's height against itself, targeting the feet and the ground surrounding it.
The enemy quickly lost its footing and fell down.
Then Kainé jumped up on it at once and pushed his weapon into one of the soft spots, releasing a magic blast soon thereafter.
(Two down. Six more to go!)
Kainé spared no time and used the explosion to launch himself to the third opponent.
With his weapon charged up with magic energy he targeted the enemy's neck, unleashing a thunderous explosion on it.
(Three down!)
By this time the rest of the enemy managed to recover enough to see what was going on.
Multiple rifles shot their deadly shells on full auto.
Kainé immediately closed-in for the fourth opponent to use it as cover.
His weapon emitted a thick blue glow, filled with electricity.
That was a technique called Lightning Edge, a magic to outfit his blunt weapon with unparalleled sharpness.
With two rapid cuts Kainé disconnected the mech's knees and then did the same with neck and arm joints.
Then Kainé clutched his medallion, summoning a shadow arm larger than the mech itself.
[[Manus Noctis Fundibulae!]] He shouted, throwing the crippled mech at its dumbfounded comrades.
The makeshift projectile flew at high speed hitting the enemy mech with enough force to make that bump into its mate behind.
He temporally immobilized two mechs, leaving only two to oppose him.
[[Arma Mobilis]] Kainé exclaimed, covering him in a dark shroud as he kept dashing towards the enemy.
Several shells impacted against the shield but to no effect. Even if it wasn't his best you'd require much more than this to break through Kainé's protection.
Seeing that their rifles were useless, the two mechs tried a hasty retreat but it was no use.
Kainé was undoubtedly faster.
Once he got beneath the pair Kainé pierced his weapon to the ground.
[[Ignis Magnum!!]] Kainé's medallion glowed red as he shouted this.
A deep orange flame passed through the weapon, transferred directly to the ground.
Kainé quickly jumped back, just in time to see the ground turning into a pond of lava.
Losing their ground the two mechs fell straight into it, soon meeting their doom.
Kainé exhaled a bit, relieving the accumulated stress before going for the last surviving pair.
They just barely managed to stand up when one of them noticed a large shadow overhead.
It was a giant fist formed of Kainé's magic. It was several times the size of both mechs.
The pilot tried to warn his comrade but it was already too late.
[[Pugnum Noctis Rex!!!]] Kainé exclaimed, crashing the fist down.
A shockwave accompanied with large tremors as the fist made a fine crater on the ground before disappearing to nothingness, leaving the dented wreckage of the last two mechs.
Considering the situation the machines were relatively intact.
But the force of the impact was more than enough to instantly kill the pilots within.
That was it.
Under the span of 3 minutes Kainé managed to defeat all 8 machines of the Kuroinu Corps.
"Ugh..." Suddenly struck with fatigue, Kainé chooses to lie down a little.
He was acting more reckless than usual.

The Valley: What Is This I Don't Even

Rastun's mind reels from the Cybertronian's story. What did he mean by "home multiverse"? This universe would count as part of the multiverse, and yet he treats himself as an outsider to it. And this black hole, how could it suddenly appear when it was actually destroyed like he says? In his entire history as an Overseer Agent, Rastun has never heard of such an outlandish cataclysm. Multiverse-devouring black holes that magically respawn even when destroyed? Unbelievable wouldn't even begin to describe it. A multiverse-wide disaster that is known only now, in a universe outside of a particular multiverse even though Rastun doesn't know how that actually works, and the disaster was solved there but not here. It's a very hard story to believe, but no one would try to lie with something so ridiculous. Plus a large scale anomaly like that would explain why spacetime is so disjointed and fused with pieces that just don't fit. And apparently there's another unknown cosmic aberration just as bad, which likely caused the Slam in the first place.

He takes a few moments to assess the situation, and then responds with, "Alright then, it appears we're both interested in spacetime's stability. I will have to ask that you share all the data that you have on this anomaly, however, if we are to work on a solution."

Rastun hopes he isn't kidding himself with that sentence.

The Valley: An Alliance?

Reviewing the narrator's words Brainstorm realizes he has walked in on a much larger clusterfuck than he dared dream. "Oh man what a mess this is. This guy is utterly clueless about Unicron..." He mumbled to himself. Assembling all the data on Unicron and all prominent universal streams battles with him take place he prepares to transmit the data. "Since I have it on good authority from above you're not really enjoying this story I'll warn you, that was the short version and the long version is an even bigger clusterfuck. I hope you won't regret your request but here is the data." The files so huge and convoluted it takes several minutes to complete the transfer.

"You know I'm disappointed my masterfully plotted out ambush won't be required." Megatron quipped.

"Oh don't worry Joe, the way this day has gone I'm sure you'll get your chance. Many times over... With more hilarious results to boot. For now we focus on the task at hand."

"Yes, I'm sure you're right. I just got a little over excited at the prospect of a chance to show off my skills on someone worthy of them."

And so the waited for Rastun to come to terms with the mess he'd been handed. If such a thing is even possible.

That bastard who wiped out all 8 of my men is just lying there? Kiba thought. Watching from inside the hideout he readied his mech

He had taken the job from the Gangsters for some easy cash but wasn't expecting a fight from a guy who can trash mechs on foot.
Aw to hell with it, this could be fun! If I can’t get paid I could at least enjoy myself. Kiba thought disregarding all caution. He had taken up the Mercenary work to feed his unquenched thirst for battle, and really who was he to back out of a good fight just because he didn't see it coming?
“Alright asshole let’s go!” Kiba shouted while starting his headfirst charge.

The Valley: Even More Headaches

Rastun receives the file after several minutes of waiting. Judging from the size of it, the data must be a rather extensive research on this threat and it also means it would give him a rather huge headache. Steeling himself, Rastun dives into what must be madness and begins reading the file. The start of it isn't very reassuring, what with all the different interpretations and incarnations of the same being. He supposes that something like that is natural for gods, but it doesn't make this any easier to digest. Apparently one universe has this Unicron entity being built by a primate, despite him being a cosmic entity that predates existence. Rastun can already feel that headache coming. He keeps reading on, and stumbles upon the factoid of Unicron having a body in a parallel universe, which went into a repair mode after someone absorbed his power. This wouldn't be all that hard to swallow if not for the fact that this absorption happened in a time more than a thousand years later. Yet Rastun still continues and eventually manages to get to the Unicron Singularity section, the black hole this Cybertronian was talking about. It indeed is a danger to the multiverse and warped reality to the point other versions of Unicron were sucked in, despite the fact that Unicron is supposed to be a unique entity in the multiverse. It was eventually stopped, but unfortunately, this universe doesn't have a cosmic deity to rely on.

In essence, the history of Unicron is a long and confusing one, to the point that he doubted even those two understood it fully. Rastun feels that Unicron's entire existence matches the state of this universe: Jumbled, confused, and forcefully fused with pieces that don't mesh with each other at all. He wonders how High Command would grapple with this data. Perhaps they can make more sense of it than him, which likely wouldn't say much, but it would be something. Rastun then finally speaks, "Well, I have to say that data was quite...informative, even if hard to grasp at times. I have an idea of what we're up against, at the very least."

A very, very rough idea.

In the Hanger of Autobot city Preet began boiling with rage, he needed to prove himself to the council and these top of the line mechs granted to him were doing nothing to deter his opposition. First those strange Transformers came from nowhere and humiliated him and now he's gotten reports of a Black Gundam demolishing his forces, then some other guy is just appearing out of nowhere. Preet was outgunned but he was willing to fight to the last Beta

“Preet can’t you see you’re taking this too far?” Said his mechs AI
“I’m doing what is necessary! All my life I've been looked down upon and mocked-but now I have power and soon I’ll have a position of power so great no one will dare laugh again!”
“Please let me down Preet I never even laughed at you!” Said his captive the boy named Shinn Barnack
“You can’t fool me! You all laughed at me when I tried talking about my favorite fictional parings and shunned me!”
“Uhhhh what?” Shin said. Beads of sweat began forming on his brow; he began wondering if this guy was totally insane, a complete fucking idiot or some combination of both. Shinn barely talked to Preet when he was at school and when he tried talking to him he brought up his weird shipping fixation, but his fellow classmate Kerry was with him and mocked Preet and called him a fag.
“You know damn well ‘what’!” Preet said while flailing his arms
“Because of that Asuna laughed at me and broke my heart! Always following you like a lost puppy you both make me sick! I turned to machines for solace and they became my only friends, eventually I made my own AI which I began mending my heart, but it didn't end my thirst for vengeance! I intend turn Autobot city into a sovereign nation, a home for robosexuals, Shippers and men suffering from broken hearts.”
“Preet that’s insane, there’s no way the Autobots will let you have their city!”
“Shut up!” You've already killed one of my dreams!”
“Preet please listen to him, Shin is only trying to help, and if you keep going you’re going to get everyone killed!”
“He’ll help me now, by keeping that black guy and the Red Guy off of me, and Asuna wouldn't dare strike her beloved! I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE AND CRUSH MY OLD LOVE WITH THE NEW!”
Shinn began feeling dread, not for just himself but for Asuna. She was Preets other target in his mad crusade, and he was her prime handicap.
