[IC] Pokémon Battle Frontier

"Use Hudro Pump to cushion your fall and use Withdrawal !"Liam called. The Mega evolved Pokémon used his three cannons to fire jets of water to slow his momentum, severely cutting the damage he took. He then sucked into his shell to prep for an upcoming attack.

"Kohaku, Thunder Fang! Mega Ring activate!" Shiranui activated his Mega Ring and Kohaku let off a glow before achieving his Mega Form. His teeth were sparking as Kohaku swooped down towards the withdrawn Hydro.

Hydro had cushioned the blow by being withdrawn. But, Liam used the proximity to have Hydro reach out and grab Kigali and fire Ice Beam.

Ice Beams fired out of all three of Hydro's cannons and blasted Kohaku point blank. The Aerodactyl reverted to his normal form from being knocked out.

A red "X" appeared on each of the judges' podiums "Shiranui's Aerodactyl is unable to battle, so the Cinnabar Ribbon goes to 'Dragon Master' Liam Coleman of Blackthorn City!" The crowd cheered as Hydro returned to his normal form. Mr. Contesta presented Liam and his Pokémon with the red colored ribbon. Liam thanked him and placed in his ribbon case, there was now only one empty slot. The next stop was Tohjo Falls for another contest and the next Frontier Facility. Liam went and had the Pokémon he used healed up.

Shiranui went with Liam to the local Pokémon Centre to have Boukun and Kohaku healed. "Liam, do you remember what I told you about the Battle Tower?" Shiranui asked.

"Other than it is at Tohjo Falls, not off hand. " Liam admitted

[Azure Flame]

Just then, an old, familiar face appeared entering the Pokémon Center. It was their old friend, Chuck North, having just finished his battle at the Gym, claiming his 7th badge. He noticed the two of them and said "Well, if it isn't Liam and Shiranui. Long time no see!" He walked up to the counter and deposited his Pokémon for healing.

"Hey, Chuck. It has been a while. How have you been?" Liam asked. getting up to greet the old friend.

[Azure Flame]

"Been doing alright. Sorry I left without a trace, or even a goodbye, but I had gotten word that my father had been injured, so I had to return home. Turns out Team Flare attacked the Daycare, trying to nab the Pokémon there, and my father wouldn't let them. I helped fend them off, until you guys put an end to them, then I stayed behind to help take care of the Daycare while my father healed, and stayed even longer after he healed. But recently, I got the urge to travel again, and restart my journey. So I took Zeni and a couple others with me and continued my Gym Challenge. I just beat Blaine and came by to heal up, I'm surprised to see the two of you here, figured you'd be in another region."

"We're taking on the Battle Frontier," stated Shiranui.

"Well, we were headhunted to particpate in a special challenge." Liam explained. He than went on to explain about the Battle Frontier. He also mentioned that they were doing contests, and he just won his fourth ribbon.

"I also have four ribbons and they were not that easy to win," added Shiranui, "The Kanto Contest circuit is far more challenging than when we started out at Hoenn."

Liam explained that they need to catch a ferry to Tohjo Falls for another contest and a facility, but they need to wait on a couple friends first, and Liam had to go pick up a Pokémon. But than, Blaine entered the center carrying a Luxury Ball. He gave it to Liam saying that he was handing back Liam's Charizard and that he has shown to have improved from training in the volcano. L:iam thanked him for bring Smaug to him. A Blissey brought over the pokémon Liam and Shiranui had depsoted to healing. Liam thanked the Blissey.

Shiranui also thanked the Blissey.

[Azure Flame]

"Oh, cool." he said. "I was considering giving contests a try, but decided for now just to focus on the Gyms." Just then, he was called to pick up his Pokémon. He went up, grabbed his balls, and came back. "I should introduce everyone to you. Come on out!" he said, tossing the balls in the air. "We of course, have Zenni." he said, patting his Blastoise on the back. "Though you last saw him as a Wartortle. Next up is Titan" he pat the Golem on the back. "Then there's Nissa." he said, rubbing under the Clefable's chin. "And Azriel." he gestured toward the Alakazam. "Tri." he pet the three heads of the Dodrio. "And finaly Tesla." he said, gently petting the head of the Jolteon, as to not stab himself. "Everyone, these are Liam and Shiranui, the friends I told you all about." The Pokémon all greeted the two of them.

"Nice to meet all of you, now it's my turn." Liam said tossing a Pokéball and a few Luxury Balls into the air. Hydro The Blastoise, Jiriya the Greninja, Goodra, Smaug the Charizard, and Sherlock the Shiny Alakazam all emerged. One thing that could be noted would be that all of them who had a Mega Evolution had the Mega Stone. Smaug had Charizardnite Y. Liam introduced all of his Pokémon to his od friend and his Pokémon. Goodra, being the freindly creature that he is, hugged Chuck, leaving a thin layer of slime behind on him.

"Umm, thanks for that." he said, with a chuckle, shaking it off. "So, are those the Mega Stones I've heard so much about?" he asked, looking at some of the ones Liam's Pokémon had.

"Yup." Liam said. At this point, Liam decided to go ahead and recalled his Pokémon. "You might get to see it in action at the next frontier facility."

"And where is that?" Chuck asked, recalling his Pokémon as well.
