[OOC] Ace Combat: The Global War

On a completely different note, I don't know how many of you have PS3's or PSN accounts, but the European release date for Ace Combat: Infinity has been announced for the 28th of May. North America hasn't been announced yet, but I can't imagine it'll be much further behind.
When it comes out, I'm probably going to get it, since it's more Ace Combat. If any of you are on there, it'd be good to team up for some co-op missions!

Apparently, Japanese players will be able to pre-order the game and get in two days earlier. Some guys on Electrosphere (AC fan forum) pointed out that this could give an unfair advantage to Japanese players as they would be much in advance over the Europeans and Americans. Which is especially annoying in a game like ACI.

I've only got a PS3 as I managed to get one pre-owned at a good discount. I wanted it to play the MGS games and other exclusives too. I have a 360 as well.

Someone on the FB announcement for Infinity also mentioned this too. No reply from the Ace Combat staff, beyond the fact that there are different rules regarding software releases in different parts of the world, which is partly why the release dates and incentives are different, and thus there's not much they can really do about it.
Mind you, considering it's not PVP in the traditional sense anyway, I doubt it'll make a huge amount of difference.

That's what I did too. :O (even though I usually go second) I have been trying to think of something meaningful to post and it's difficult because we just moved closer to our base without landing on it, and Natasha isn't one to strike up casual conversation in the air. "Natasha followed the Belkans, refuled and was soon nearing the new base" isn't much of a post, so I've been waiting to see what others come up with.

As soon as we start the landing and debriefing sequence, I'm sure posts will start flowing in again. The only thing worrisome I'd say is the trend for everyone keeping deadly silent until Silver and I post each go around, and since we haven't yet...well there you go.

I seem to be posting 1 to none the last few weeks. that's gonna end here. lately I've been caught up on another RPG site that I wavered between this and that. I'm going to start making my post tonight as I have a family member coming over tomorrow and I really want to see them.
