@Etherean Fire Yeah I was on the same page as you with the whole, it will probably happen but not yet. which is why i felt he would be fine for one turn but turns out combat is much more lethal than I assumed.

The repeated mentions of darksouls probably should have told me this.

on a purely mechanical side of thing my optimism has wasted about 40% of my teams potential healing items and so yay me best leader. edit: and 20 potential xp

@Etherean FireIf things were different, then things might have turned out different. We lost a lot of players, the teams are smaller than what they were starting off, which made the bosses harder than what they would normally be. If we had retained the people we had, then Team Three would have been strong enough to handle Odin right there, but it wasn't possible. There's another reason but seeing as this mission isn't over yet, you'll see all the faults at the end of the mission.

@DracoLunarisIn the game, Odin is slower than the Valkyries. The ranged attacks of the Valkyries are usually bottles of magic and each bottle does something different. They usually don't throw their spears, but I thought why not? So, you can watch for flying spears. Be mindful of doing suicidal shit. I do kill players for making stupid mistakes. I don't go as hard as I would in Delta, but if a player does do something just dumb, I do punish for it.

Also, I'm not saying don't be ballsy. I'm just saying be smart about being ballsy.
