Clinohumite Arrogantly Enters The Spotlight, Again!

The Newest Newborn Gem!

Appearance: Flashy, Sassy, and all around the center of any attention she can get. Chloe loves to keep a sly smirk on her face at all times, and a thick aura of pride almost exudes from her. Parental figures hate her, most other newborns envy her, and she just thinks herself to be the bee's knees overall. Fashion-wise: orange, more orange, spandex, and "those great visors over there"!

Gem Placement: Right smack-dab in the middle of her forehead.

Gem Item: For such a frail and slender-built gem, Chloe packs a punch with a set of iron bracers for weaponry. These two spiked, orange arm-protectors help the gem get into the thick of battle to arm-smash enemies and use her truly odd power.

Produced, modeled, and monitored in the Kindergarten as she was developed for homeworld-worthy battle, Chloe was gifted the bizarre gem ability of 'rapidly repeated muscle extension'. This interesting power, first synthetically conceived within this gem, gives Clinohumite the innate skill to quickly fire her muscles off like a machine's pistons. Her legs, her arms, or anything else muscular, Chloe is able to maneuver at blinding speeds. This modification to the orange gem gives her an amazing upper-hand in offensive and defensive combat, with her bracers flying in front of attackers unexpectedly to block their attacks and allow Chloe to deliver her own.
Yet, this ability most definitely has it's downsides. Chloe's muscles are still muscles, and, though they are very flexible, they can still be torn by prolonged or straining use of her power. As well, her muscles only fire at their greatest force when she pushes for a purely repetitive motion, such as kicking at the same, static object. While blocking randomly thrown punches and attacks, Chloe's muscles will not be operating at their peak speed performance. Finally, Chloe's own personality could very well be categorized as a disadvantage. Through her pride and want to show-off, the gem commonly pushes her ability to the limit quickly in an encounter, something that could very well cost her dearly in the future.

@Akayaofthemoon, thank you for the approval. One last set of concerns: I currently re-read the rules and environment you set up in the OOC check (bow down to the queen), and I wanted to voice some questions I have about the setting of this RP.

1) Crystalisis is mainly populated by homeworld gems, correct?
2) When the newborn gems emerge, will they have to find their way to the city surface, or are there gem guards down in the concealed Kindergarten looking for late-bloomers already?

No, they are on Earth.
The choice of how or what you want to do after your character emerges is completely up to you. It is not like the Kindergarten is I watched by either side. Plus corrupted gems are not unlikely to be crawling around either.

Of course you can reserve a spot but as I told Gutshot, we do currently have a lot of Blue and Green Gems so I am hoping to avoid more of these colors as to help have more options for fusions
