Agreed. That'll give y'all another chance to form longer term relationships (for better or worse), too. I'd vote Iikka or Olivia, since Max probably lives closer to Jason than Mario, but if that doesn't work, Max can be Mario's neighbor. They'd have probably been friends as little-ish kids, then, until Max became all...Max-y.

*Everybody runs in different directions. Iikka escapes by climbing a decoratively planted palm tree up to the second floor. Olivia strategically sneaks into a movie theater and hides there. Russo, who knows the mall like the back of his hand because of scouting events, weaves an untraceable trail through the crowds.

Jason, who cannot drive his car in the mall, is caught and is forced at mouthpoint to walk Maxine home.*

Do we need to draw up a little map of the town they live in? Something for reference? Where their houses are, where the apartments Max is in or the trailer park Jason is in are, where the mall is, main street, where the construction is, where any workplaces are, where the high school is...

And...a map sounds great, but my graphic designs skills are only so-so. If someone would like to volunteer map-making abilities, that would be fantastic. Otherwise, I'll get with Vivid and see what I can make up in MS Paint. =p

A map is on the way! Dotcom and I are collaborating on I as we speak. After the map also comes the IC! So, everybody, be excited! (Also, extra props to the super-eager Terminal and wonderlandalli!)

To the north are particularly heavy forests and another lake, and the Sharing's main retreat area, the roads to the east lead into the mountains and eventually to the next town over, and those to the west and south lead out of town.

Here's a map! As promised, the IC will come later tonight. Any questions/comments/concerns before it goes up?

Quick question. Where does all the characters live (trailer, middle-class, upper-class)? I was just wondering this because the construction site (where we are supposed to find the alien crash site) is kind of out of the way if one was going from the mall to either the middle-class or upper-class neighborhoods. Although it probably could be a shortcut for the trailer park

So in this map.... how are they short cutting from the mall through the construction site? It doesn't make sense,most of the neighborhoods are away from that. It would make more sense if it traded places with say, the hospital.

Maybe like this? I also gave things names for reference. (If you don't have any FM streets around you, it means Farm to Market and is a sort of a parkway nearer to towns.) I have a .psd for this, things can be changed or added!

Gosh darn it. I just edited the map too. I personally think that the construction site should be where City Hall and the Court House should be. It will actually make a shortcut to all residential areas.

I know Jason won't be worried about which way around he goes, so for most of them (Olivia, Iikka, Mario who probably lives in like Grand Oak lol) it would be a shortcut where I shifted it to. The courthouse/towncenter whathaveyou needs to be near the main commerce area.

I don't know about you, but I really think that Mario would be more middle-class. His dad owns a local pizzeria. Maybe I have a bad sense of how wealthy that would make Mario's parents, but I personally think that it would put him more in the middle-class. And when we are talking about the upper-class, we are talking about the extremely-wealthy, right?

I'm going to say that Iikka's parents live in Grand Oak, with him having spent most of his time (across his actual life) in the Suburbs.

This is what I thought would be a good layout. The construction site allows for shortcuts to all the residential areas, since the hypotenuse is shorter than the other two sides combined (although larger than the other two sides individually). For the trailer parks, it would prevent anyone from having to go up Oak Avenue, down Birch, and down WIllow Avenue.

Edit: Also, we could put the Russo Pizzeria across the street of the Galleria. Makes it convenient for Mario getting to the mall.

That is a HUGE construction site. The original was like, the start of a new neighborhood or something. That's like half of Main Street.
