I like the overtly sexual thing. I don't do Fantasy stuff much so I haven't been in one with a changeling before but it seems like a logical aspect of their character.

Shel will be pleased as punch to have two fellow travelers out there scouting and mapping and whatnot, if they choose to form up as Esalia suggested.

Could check trees near the tree line for moss to try to determine where the sun rises from, or just wait until sunset assuming it's a relatively Earth-like orbit. If day lasts for 72 hours the moss thing may be a better shot. Maybe coloration of bark too, if days last super long.

To be honest, at the current rate people are conversing in the RP, I am not confident I can keep up.

I realize there isn't much that actually has been done, but I haven't much had the chance to really do anything, so I'll be leaving the RP before things get going anywhere.

Seconded. The actual plot isn't moving forward at an especially quick pace. People are just talking a lot. You could likely just have yourself working on a solo project or largely interacting with other less active characters. It' be a shame to drop out. This looks liek an interesting RP and yours looks like an interesting character.

Erm, @Dusty, Rhen meant more along the lines that she would have helped a dwarf man with his beard before. She knows how much it takes to maintain because she's seen or helped with it.

@BangoSkank, Rhen is kind of an outlier with how overt she is with the whole "I can be anyone you want me to be so come and get it" thing. Most changelings are quieter about it and are even monogamous. He is rather young, though, so maybe she'll grow out of it.

@Yuuta I'd like to know how advanced science and mathematics are exactly in the world everyone came from. I gave Zeke lenses and knowledge in optics, which is more of a 1600s concept. His profession would also require the awareness of heliocentrism, as he's an astronomer. At this time period would be calculus, gravity, cell theory, all-important oscillatory motion, and of course we can't forget Newton's Laws. Are these too far ahead of your world? How much is allowed?

This sort of thing makes me wish there was some way to make a 'multiplayer post'. AKA someone starts a post, and can opt people into being able to edit it, thus allowing people to not only converse in a single post, but other things, like veterans helping newer people with spellcheck or grammar.

Because with hiders, a massive exchange could be hidden in a single line.
