If any of you are still willing to keep going with this RP, I'd like a vote in regards to what you are, and Majority rules.

Pirate? or Privateer? (or, as I'm sure Kiwiwiwi considered them as, "government-sponsored pirates")

I already know Kessir's still interested, but I need a vote from him as well.

Once the decision is made, the reboot shall begin, exactly where we left off with the police raid in the bar...or if you prefer where everyone is leaving the bar and beginning their job, as I'm sure the GM originally intended.

i havent been keeping up because ive been waiting on Kiwi, but i assume Jest is taking over. i dont mind continuing but will most likely write my character out of the RP cuz i have a lot of RPs going on and in my opinion we havent really gotten very much into the pirating.

pirates dont work for anyone but their captain, and only cuz he pays them

privateers/mercenaries work for the government, but are corporations. honestly, i thought it was a misnomer to call the RP space pirates, but i figured we'd end up turning against our employers eventually.

also please dont write my character out for me. in case anyone hasnt noticed, i like controlling my own fate :P

I see...That's a shame, because I was intending to make you a Co-GM in this RP, and of course planned on immediately going into the pirating, or at least going into the ship and THEN to pirating. But I can understand not wanting to be in too many RPs, as I know what it's like for too many to make you suffer burnout.

I see. I will take that into consideration, as I also wish to skip straight to the action, especially given the interviews are already done for all members who are in this RP. If I have to, when I restart it, I'll make the Interview an afterthought, something like...Asking any new members to divide their first post into a flashback scene, where The captain asked them a couple of questions and they answered it, as well as their first impressions of said captain and crew, and a present scene of what they're doing now.

I'll let this Question rest for about a day. If most people are on board with it by then, I'll make the OOC. If not, I'll make an interest check for it, and THEN the OOC. Either way, Expect the OOC ready and posted within the next one or two days.

the problem isnt burnout from too much RPing, its that all 20 RPs im in are either dead, or in the "interview" phase like this one was. i dont mind Slice of Life, i think it shows the talent of the RPers/writers to be able to write in a relative void of action, but also, as you may have noticed, i like playing villains, and even if we're pirates, my character isnt cut out for teams unless they are his crew. i do have other characters who are better suited for following orders, but D'ren isnt one of them.

also i had always intended for D'ren to betray everyone and go off on his own.
