Ayita Dyrkin & Richard Laine

Location Blackbird

Ayita smiled down at Allison as the woman collapsed into the shifter. It was a small one, but for Ayita such small feats spoke volumes. Wrapping her scarred arms about the Seer, the Alaskan born woman gave a chuff of irritation. "You did not fail. At least you could do something." Ayita sent via the mind link she had developed during the last mission. "Stark is here and holding the plane as well. We are not safe, but you shall come to no harm." Though much could be said in the negative about Ayita, she did not lie. Her word was her bond and strong as the ancient trees she had once stood under and sought to do so again. If helping to forge a peace between human and mutant would ensure her wilderland home was a safe place were human would not seek to snatch her away? Then she would fight tooth and claw for it. Just as she would fight any who thought to threaten her brother or Allison. Heck, she was tossing Lance into the mix. From what she gathered, he had aided her friend and for that she was grateful beyond words.

Richard groaned aloud. While he was all for the relax and let things play out style, the not-so-much former assassin was hardly going to call this 'out of the woods'. They were not going to be safe til the politician who caused this was kissed by his own fangs. When Jakobson was six feet under and in multiple pieces... Cold and dead. Then Richard would take it easy. "Do not assume safety." He hated to scare the children but they could not afford to assume. The kids were their life line right now. The number one rule of society, or rather the taboo, was hurting children. Sure people did it. But there was always a high price to pay if you were caught. "It would have been better if those Sentinels had followed us." The man muttered into a hand that covered his mouth, channeling is words to his sister.

Ayita frowned at her brother's words. Innocents would be hurt if these 'Sentinels' had followed them and the chance of dying would have been higher. "Why? They will hunt again." Her quite voice lowered as she leaned her head against the smooth fabric of her brother's shoulder.

"Proof in part. Humans are a stubborn lot. While we do have the upperhand with them attacking kids. It's our words against theirs. We could have mistaken them for another faction. Less popular. If they had followed us... That would have been harder to do." Richard shook his disheveled hair from his snake eyes. "As it stands we've lost the manor, and thus literally ground. Putting us as 'leeches' on the system, which someone might point out. Something no one looks kindly on." His eyes were troubled as he looked over the sea of brats and their incompetent 'team'.

The younger lain shifted nervously, sensing her brother's temper turning foul. "Can you not-?" Her mind brushed against his. Earning her a sharp look and a deeper growl from the man. The touch of death was a chilling one and Richard felt cold fury run through his veins. Making a sharp motion with his hand for Ayita to silence that particular line of questioning the Adder felt a venomous hiss stir in his chest. It would not be easy, it would give Jakobson more ammunition. Which he did not need.

"Do not ever mention that. Think it. But never mention it aloud." His order was met with wide amber eyes and nod as Ayita eyed the agitated Adder nervously. Richard would not harm her, nor would the Adder, but they was point in poking a cobra with a stick. Literally.

Guinevere Stark, Folly Valeska, and Dean Kesseli

Location: Blackbird

Guin couldn't help but grin as her dad showed up. Sure, she was incredibly excited from several successful shots on the Sentinels, having managed to knock a fair deal of them out of the sky. But having her dad there to help out? It definitely soothed her nerves. He had beaten aliens coming to Earth, then there were the multiple Hammer incidents, including the horrifying one with Kilgrave....He shut down entire cells of the Ten Rings. She always felt safe with her father around.

"Grow up, Cass," Guin teased, rolling her eyes. "It was just a kiss - our first kiss, actually." Guin kept one hand on the glorified joystick, taking the watch from Cass with the other. It ended up being the one from the future and it activated, a pixelated holographic video playing out in front of Guin and Cassandra.

Guin stared at the hologram for a moment, before she casually chucked the watch away from her, just stunned. It was all getting to be a bit too much. Yes, she loved Pietro - she really did. But O.M.E.N. was trying to kill them, Lance had just come to the mansion and they would've been living in the same place for the first time in what felt like forever, and now she was getting requests from her future self - who apparently married Pietro - to save Wanda, the very person who caused Guin's mutation to come out? She took a deep breath, scratching at her wrists as she felt more and more overwhelmed. Oh, and that wasn't to forget the most troubling thing - that apparently Mary had died in the original timeline.

Pietro raced over to her, gripping her wrists to stop her from scratching at them, and he was confused. Why would Guin be having a panic attack now of all times? She hadn't had one before. His future counterpart noticed, and walked over, kneeling down by her, "Hey, whatever happens, it'll be alright, don't worry Malo Guina," he said to her softly, standing up to his full height again.

Folly glanced over from her seat, watching as both speedsters busied themselves with Guin. Her hallucinations had stopped for the moment and she turned to watch Mary again. She'd never seen her friend acting as the leader of the X-Men. In fact, she had only seen Mary directly defying Cyclops and Professor X's express orders - of course, it had been for a good cause. Folly couldn't help but smile sadly as she thought back on that. Mary had brought her a plant, just so her room wouldn't look so much like the cell it really was.

She wasn't worried about Thalia - she had faith in her friend. She had known Thalia for a long time and doubted that she could be killed so easily. "She killed an Asgardian before," Folly whispered to no one in particular. Thalia had burned the Goddess of Death alive in front of her. If Sentinels were all that it took to kill Thalia...it would have been a pity. She also couldn't help but wonder about Jakobsen - he had seemed so nice when she first met him. Folly even liked his wife. Poor Alcie, though...Folly couldn't help but feel bad for her.

Dean stared at Lance. "I'm not dumb. But look, Jakobsen sucks if you're not human, yeah....But the last guy? He sucked for everyone. And I'm not saying that I want Jakobsen to be elected...just that he wouldn't be the worst president in our history," Dean mumbled. He nodded in agreement with Carolina. He knew that they'd be able to get out on top of this. Jakobsen was incredibly charismatic, but there had to be footage out there of O.M.E.N. storming the mansion - or at least photographs now of its remains.

"Look, we've got the kids of the freaking Avengers here with us," Dean pointed out. "And unless Thor's Asgardian kids are backing Jakobsen - if he has any, I mean - I think we'll get a fair shake...Do you really think Guin Stark's dad couldn't afford enough lawyers to make some changes? Get Jakobsen at least so far under investigation he doesn't even have time to run?"

Meanwhile, Guin was just staring at the two speedsters. "....What does Malo Guina mean...." she muttered, trying to take deep breaths. But it was honestly freaking her out even more, having both of them there. It wasn't that she wanted them to go away, but more that she felt like she knew how the rest of her life was going to play out and there was nothing she could do about it. Add onto that the mortal jeopardy her friends were in, with the current political climate more anti-mutant than it had been in years, and it was a recipe for an anxiety attack.

"...It means little Guin..." the younger one said, and his counterpart just nodded. "We are here to prove that the future isn't set in stone, you get to make your own choices Malo Guina... Your future isn't written yet..." the future one said.

Guin nodded slightly, before she frowned. She hadn't mentioned what was freaking her out - so how did Future Pietro know about that? And she wasn't too sure how she felt about the Malo Guina nickname - did that mean he was going around calling her counterpart Big Guin? Or Old Guin? Or Not-As-Young-As-She-Used-To-Be Guin? She took another deep breath, feeling another pang of anxiety hit her. "H-how did you know that was what was going through my head?"

"...I know you way too well... Not to mention I'm pretty sure you figured out who I was married to..." he said softly.

"Wait, was? Did....Did I die in the future or something? Did we divorce?" Guin asked, feeling confused and panicked now. The message from the future she just watched indicated she was alive and healthy, as well as still with Pietro.

"No, bad choice of words I guess... Used to speaking more in Serbian than in English..."

She nodded, her thoughts flickering to P.H.I.L. and the test she had done that morning of his Serbian language capabilities. They had been horrible. But if Pietro in the future was used to speaking in Serbian more than English, either she learned Serbian or P.H.I.L. had stopped threatening to kill Pietro. Her mind then flickered back towards how awkwardly close Cass was to them, but the Blackbird was cramped right now anyways. They wouldn't have been able to talk in private. "So in the future...we're...we're married...."

"Yeah... We are..." he said, not wanting to mention the other part.

Guin nodded again, beginning to feel a little bit light headed. She loved Pietro, but she didn't feel ready for marriage - at all. Her father wasn't even married and he had been dating Pepper for almost a decade now. The last person in her family to get married had been her grandfather - and he died before Guin was even born, likely in some sort of cover up scheme. Her hands were going clammy and she kept staring at the two speedsters, her brain accelerating rapidly as it went into overdrive, trying to figure everything out and reconcile pieces of information. She wasn't even paying attention to the controls on the weapons systems anymore.

The two speedsters remained silent, unsure of what else to do.

"...I think you might want to let go of my wrists or we might switch..." Guin mumbled, looking at the younger Pietro. "And don't take me freaking out the wrong way...I do love you...him....both of you? It's confusing...I...I don't know....Like this stuff isn't something I was ever exposed to - the marriage stuff but also the time travel stuff and being hunted like animals because we're mutants..."

Pietro let go of Guin, and the future one nodded. "Yeah, this sort of thing is kind of the normal for me... I'm used to being on the run all of the time," he said. Guin almost instantly went back to nervously scratching at her wrists, finding the motion helped to calm her nerves ever so slightly. "Stop it!" the younger Pietro said, grabbing her wrists, making sure that he had his hands covered so she wouldn't accidentally switch with him.

"Sorry, this is just freaking me the fuck out," Guin muttered. "This type of stuff doesn't happen in real life...It's like a messed up sequel to Star Wars...Like A Very Potter Musical where they can't go forward anymore so they go back..."

"Well, we also have a time dragon on our side..." Future Pietro said, "I never thought dragons existed at all."

"...Why didn't I come back?"

"Needed someone to keep an eye on things back there..."

Guin raised an eyebrow. "Okay, I think this is all a really bad acid trip, because there's dragons, a terrorist organization randomly attacking us out of nowhere, Nina is being helpful instead of a slut, you have an extremely muscular future self, but you know what's really insane? Me being put in charge of things. I'm not Princess Leia, man. I'm Han Solo. I show up at the last minute in the Falcon - I don't run the rebel base."

"Yeah, well things change..."

"Whatever you say, Doc Brown..."

Future Pietro just rolled his eyes in response.

Nina van Essenhout

Location: Blackbird

Despite what Thalia had said, Nina couldn't help but worry. She had no idea who this woman was, where she'd come from or why she was helping them out, but she was getting injured for the sole reason of protecting Nina. Yes, Nina was keeping the plane aloft at the moment, but she couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt on behalf of Thalia. Guilt fell way to panic as blood fell onto Nina's face, and the realisation that Thalia had been hit once again. All she wanted to do was to hold onto Thalia the way the dragon-woman was holding onto her, just to ensure she didn't fall from her injuries. Thankfully, as the plane entered the city limits, the Sentinels seemed to fall back. She couldn't feel relief though, not until the plane was landed, injuries were tended, and everybody involved was safe and sound.

Hearing Thalia cough painfully, Nina's head turned to offer whatever comfort she could to the injured woman, her strained expression assembled into one of surprise as she saw a very familiar figure arrive and shoulder the plane's wing beside her.

"Looks like you could all use a hand." His voice filtered through the comm link, and almost immediately the weight shifted, allowing Nina to wrap one arm around Thalia while keeping the other one up supporting the plane. "Fancy seeing you here, Van Essenhout." After more than a decade, Nina had always wondered what her first words would be to Tony Stark. She hadn't imagined their first reunion to be in this situation, and had always pictured his first words to her to be just as venomous as his daughter's. She certainly hadn't expected to feel such a rush of relief to see him once again.

"Thank God... we're safe." An Avenger being present was enough to put anybody at ease.

Charlie Farrier

Location: Blackbird

"Hey man, take it easy." Charlie said with a wince, looking at Lance's back as he spoke up vehemently about Jakobsen. Not that he thought Lance was wrong, he just didn't want him getting hurt any more. This was a brand new kid at the academy and here he was, sliced to bits by broken glass. It wasn't fair, and Charlie didn't see where this Jakobsen guy got off hurting innocent kids. The sentinels had pulled back when they hit the city to avoid civilian casualties, but more than half of the kids on this ship were still minors. Where was their protection? Were they seriously just going to blow a ship of children out of the sky because they had powers? One kid's mutant ability was a frog tongue. That was it. Just a long, stretchy, sticky tongue. How the hell was that a threat to national security?

Looking out of the window before he lost his temper (His fingertips were already starting to ice over), Charlie noticed Iron Man outside and felt a small thrill of excitement. He'd never met an Avenger before, but now wasn't really the time to fangirl over Tony Stark. Guin would never forgive him, anyway.

"Looks like the cavalry has arrived. You want a hand getting off the ship when we land?" He offered to Lance quietly, after briefly looking towards Allison and deciding that Ayita could take care of it. Something was going between the Laine siblings at the moment, and he had no desire to get involved by offering to help out Blondie. Besides, he knew how being in pain made it hard to walk, even if the injury was fairly light.

Lance Banner, Marygold Isley, and Mirembe Adebayo

Location: Xavier's Institute: Blackbird

Mira turned her head, looking away from the controls for a moment in order to address Dean's comment, "You would think so, however, OMEN will probably find ways to deflect the blame away from them, after all, it would be our word against theirs, and currently OMEN is a "better" organization than SHIELD in the public's view, so they would still be more likely to believe them and Jakobsen then us, no matter what lawyers say. It would be entirely a he says she says scenario. Yes, we are students and most of us are minors, but the world has proven that doesn't mean anything when it comes to things like that..."

Tony's strength added to what Nina and Sara were doing was enough to stabilize the plane completely. It made it a lot easier for Mary and Mira to steer the Blackbird. They'd be there in a moment or so, but Mary wasn't too confident in their abilities to land the plane considering the fact that neither one of them had ever actually flown the Blackbird without any aid from the on board computer system. There wasn't much they could do about it except hope for the best.

The landing of the Blackbird went remarkably well considering the fact that they only vaguely knew what they were doing. There was a loud thud and he entire plane shook as it touched down. Outside of the plane, Thalia used her claws to snap the rope holding her and Nina together, before she collapsed to the ground, her wings disappearing. "We need to get her and anyone else who needs it inside," Stark said as Mary lowered the ramp to let everyone off.

"No thanks... I can get off myself, might want to help Beast there," Lance said as he stood up to get off the plane. He stumbled slightly, but he was able to follow Marygold and Mira off the plane, but he was not too thrilled by the person he saw standing there by the door to get inside. The one he saw was the last person he wanted to talk to right then. “...Hey buddy...Rough first day of school I heard..." Banner mumbled, his hands in his pockets and he kept looking nervously at Lance.

Lance glared at him, letting out a huff of a breath, "Whatever, just leave me alone, I'm fine..." he muttered, though he couldn't help wince slightly. His skin was still a little pale, and his back was still sore from the glass and such. He just did not want his dad to freak out and act like he was dying or something.

"....No, buddy, you aren't...." Banner muttered, going over to his son with shaking hands and examining his injuries. "Come on, let's get you fixed up...."

"No," he said, shoving him slightly, not very hard though. "There are a few people who could use medical attention before me, I am fine for the moment, don't worry about it," he continued, starting to get annoyed a little bit. His dad could be a little over protective, when his dad had found out he had gotten beaten up at school was a prime example of that.

Banner looked at the ground, hiding the tears forming in his eyes. "....You sure, buddy?"

"Yes, I'm sure, I've been hit by worse," he said, before he walked past him inside. Mary had just been watching this interaction, but she couldn't help but feel bad for Banner based on what had been said. Clearly Lance and his father didn't have the best relationship around, actually it looked like it was flat out awful from that.

"We aren't out of this yet, OMEN is probably still after us, and I'm wondering what the hell is going on, we are basically under the guise of a school, yes OMEN knew that, but you'd think that would be more likely to cause them to not attack us. Everyone knows we're a school, so why would they strike a place that the public might think to defend? It is strange," Mary said as she went over to help Thalia.

Another thought occurred to her, and it involved the students. She looked up at Tony, he had popped open the face mask. "Do you know of a place where we could locate the students? Keep them safe and away from here?" she asked him.

"We've got a facility up north that we can relocate them to, at least until we deal with this whole thing."

Allison Andrews and Sara Grey

Location: X-Mansion: Blackbird

Sara let out a giant sigh of relief as she released the ship along with the others. Thankful she didn't have to lug it anymore, she felt Allison's power slip away from her as she returned to relative normalcy. Allison wasn't doing so hot though. The strain of all the visions and using her telekinesis to hold up the ship took a toll on her. Sara walked over to check. Ayita had a grip on her and she was sure Allison would be fine.

"Is she going to be ok?" Sara asked Ayita and, to a lesser extent, Richard. Allison was still awake, resting on Ayita. "Don't talk about me like I'm not here. I'm fine. I just need to stand up and I'll be good." Allison made a feeble attempt to get up, but she didn't know if she was just too tired or if Ayita held her down. "Blondie, you are not ok. Stark out there just said to bring you and the others inside for help and I suggest we do as the man says." Sara was tired too, but it was nothing a quick nap and an energy drink wouldn't fix.

Allison made a mumble of protest, but it was drowned out as the others left the ship. Sara stayed to make sure Allison got inside.

Ayita Dyrkin & Richard Laine

Location Blackbird

Amber eyes watched the newer of the two psychic girls. Her arms tightening on her best friend, not a term the wild woman used lightly. Sara was a new addition to the manor- or their group of mutants- so she knew little of the woman. "She will be alright." Ayita would see to it. "Mere overuse of her abilities. You are?" Ayita rarely interacted with the newcomers for their first few months. So their names evade the younger shifter. A solid growl erupted from the Alaskan as the elbow of her brother rammed into her side.

Sara turned to face the woman who spoke now. "Name's Sara, nice to meet you, though I wish it was under better circumstances. Seems she trusts you, so I don't see a reason to be worried. You doing all right, all things considered?"

The auburn haired woman tilted her head. So her name was Sara? She had heard talk here and there of the younger woman, talk of her and her powers. She really wanted to see what this girl could do with her own powers, yet dreading if that were to ever come about. The instincts that ran through her veins was a risky thing. Especially when Ayita was first discovering her abilities. "Ayita. Allison. You're not standing up. You are resting." Her voice was dry as she commented to Allison, with a stern frown. "Don't copy my powers. You won't like them." The younger Laine warned the girl, standing with a huff of air. Picking up Allison on the right side as she made her way from the Blackbird.

Allison mumbled incoherently again, though one could just make out color=FFD9E9]"not the boss of me..."[/color] before she succumbed to Ayita's movements. Sara wanted to help, but she feared the woman a bit. She heard talk from some of the other students about the Laine siblings. Still, Allison seemed like a smart girl and if she trusted Ayita, then Sara had no doubt the woman was capable. "I'm a bit new here as I am sure you are aware. Pray tell, what is your power that is so scary? I've seen a few in my time, I probably won't be surprised."

"I have ears." Ayita stated the obvious. Her amber eyes sliding over to Sarah and shifting to become like a cat's. She didn't want to speak of it. Why her powers were so deadly, but a glance towards Richard made her doubt the wisdom of distrubing her already worried brother. "Form of both, mind of both." Her lips drew in a tight line. The quiet voice dropping so that only Allison and Sara could hear. "Balancing my human side with that of a creature. If the human is too strong I cannot shift. If the creature?" She let the answer of that question hang in the air. To Ayita it didn't need any more explanation.

Sara was impressed. A shifter, but into animals. She had run in to a few who could shift into other people or into elemental skins. "That's impressive. Really. I've known one other shifter in my life and she felt much the same. She worried she did it so much she would lose track of who she really was." Allison, at this point, was all but passed out, but she still moved as if she could escape the grasp of the woman's arms. "Dangerous ground, no doubt, but handy. Amazing, even. Do you like your powers?" The question may seem odd, because often mutants didn't like their powers. They used them, sure. And those that did like them often used them for selfish means. Did Allison like her powers? Not really, but they were handy. And helpful.

Richard stood with the grace of his artful form. He was rather handsome, worse? He knew it. So it was the infamous Tony Stark who had come to their aid. The Adder wasn't ungrateful, far from it. But he was wary. The man was incredibly well off, his daughter had slugged him, and the man was a target of many an assassin. Not that he had been fool enough to take that contract. Death sentence was what it was. "Ayita-" Richard started and paused as Ayita moved off with her 'BFF'. A smirk gracing his features. At least, his beloved baby sister wasn't going for Starkette's throat. Though he was no fool as to think that wasn't coming at some point. Ayita was protective of her only family and was not forgiving. Following the trio of woman, he tried to blend with the background, despite being a tall man who emit danger from his sheer movements.

Then there was also the Hulk. Hell, forget who was out there. He was a former assassin walking into the Stark Tower. A place that screamed at him to keep his guard up. Starks were mad. Utterly and completely mad. Living a year with Guin- a baby Stark by all accounts- and doing research on them had really underlined that fact. Both in a good and negative way. Ayita paused and adjusted her grip on Allison so the woman would not fall from her hold. Giving a huff of annoyance at Allison's antics. "I do not know. It allowed me to survive the winters and hunting was not as difficult." His heart wrenched at the tone. Thoughtful and partially uncaring.

"Yeah, well I hate mine. Hate 'em. I don't have one power, I have them all. You know how horrible that is? I can't keep one for longer than an hour. My ability is to copy, so I need other people. Alone, I don't stand a chance." Allison finally stopped struggling and accepted her fate. Take solace in the fact you have something that makes you unique. An asset. Strong."

"You are strong. You can adapt." Ayita chastened the younger mutant. "I can do nothing again human's machines." The amber eyes troubled as she set her mouth in a firm line and picked up the pace. Putting an end to the conversation. Richard tilted his head and chuckled slightly. "No worries. She just hates feeling useless. Comes from always working on something or other." The assassin tousled Sarah's hair before he moved off in the crowd. Hopefully he wouldn't be overly noticed by anyone who might remember an Adder.

Sara fixed her hair and glared at the older sibling. The words were there. Kind words, but she didn't believe them. Not yet. "You're brother is weird." She followed closely, making sure Ayita could handle the weight. "Got her? Shall we get her inside? I don't know about you but I could use a nap myself."

Ayita gave the young girl a wearisome sigh. Her amber eyes confused and irritated as she stared at Sara. Shaking her head, it was as if Ayita had used up her quota of words for the day. Her form cracking and blurring as she shifted into a large tigress. Shifting so that Allison fell across her back. The shifter sending Sara the idea that she might steady the human. A rumbling huff coming from the large cat. While Allison was a smaller woman, it was easier to balance her across her back.

Carolina Reed

Location: The Blackbird

Carolina leaned back as she listened in on the conversations that were going on, she wasn't sure what OMEN's next move against them would be, she hated them personally. She wasn't even sure if they were safe at Stark Tower or not, but she assumed that they would be for the time being, but they did need to get out and soon. Her eyes wondered over towards Guin and the Pietro Twins as the three of them spoke, she wasn't sure what they were talking about. But it did seem that it was a bit personal as Carolina stared at Dean, sure they had two Avengers kids with them along with their parents as well. But that didn't really matter much if they were going against a politician, they needed to get some evidence on them as soon as they can.

"We just need to get some dirt on them, then people will believe us a lot more aside from us being kids as well." Carolina stated as she felt the Blackbird finally landing with an ungraceful thud. She closed her eyes and sighed to herself she was really happy that they all made it out safely. Carolina started to get out, as the rear door for the Blackbird opened up she was the first to get off as she looked and saw Bruce Banner and Tony Stark there.

Her eyes wondered over towards Lance and Banner as the two seemed to have a very, very uneasy relationship towards one another, she wasn't sure what happened between the two of them. But Carolina knew that they did need to fix things up, or at least be on somewhat friendlier terms. Carolina headed back in and headed over towards Dean and offered a hand to help him up from where he was sitting, she was actually pretty excited to go into Stark Tower. Sure she had seen it in New York's skyline a lot of the time she did want to actually explore it, she gave him a slight smile. "We could explore the Tower or something." She said softly towards him, as she looked over her shoulder towards her sister.

Future Carolina Reed

Location: The Blackbird

Future Carolina remained fairly quiet as they seemed to be out of the woods, they so far had managed to change history already now they managed to save just about everyone now. The moment that the Blackbird landed Carolina turned and went to help Beast up, carrying one arm over her shoulder groaning slightly as she held him up. He certainly did look a lot heavier than he actually was, Future Carolina made her way towards the door of Stark Tower, she gave Tony a friendly nod and smile. She was grateful for his help. She watched as Marygold went to help Thalia up to her feet.

She was glad that her friend did make it out of holding the Blackbird up, and taking a few of those shots for them, she made a note to help out however she could once they got all settled in. Future Carolina started to follow Ayita towards the entrance of Stark Tower, wondering where exactly was the medical bay for the massive building was. She looked over her shoulder towards her younger self to talk with Dean it looked like.

Bethany Bell
[

Location: The Blackbird

The moment the Blackbird landed Bethany closed her eyes and sighed happily and quickly got out the moment the back ramp was opened and stared at Bruce Banner, and Tony Stark there, she couldn't believe that she was actually meeting the two of them in the flesh which was a first for her. She stared at Lance and Banner as the two of them seemed to have a very uneasy relationship, to Beth it really wasn't her business but she knew that family was pretty important. She moved up slightly towards Bruce, she didn't know much about Lance, but she knew that if they didn't fix things either one of them would regret it.

"Give him some time, I can try and talk to him if you'd like." She suggested towards him, and watched as the Future Carolina went to help Beast into the building. She also noticed Marygold doing the same, but with Thalia, and decided to help her out as well, she helped Thalia up and gave Marygold a slight smile. "I'll help you." She offered, normally she wasn't all sociable, Beth did want to lend a helping hand as much as she could and prove that she'd be a good X-Men someday.

Cassandra Reed

Location: The Blackbird

Cassandra stared at the video of Guin, well her future self and leaned forward slightly as she listened in on the video, it was pretty interesting as she looked at Guin's expression. She could tell that Guin was really uncomfortable with the whole situation seeing a future version of her boyfriend and then a video of her future self. Telling her to actually save Scarlet Witch of all people, she looked at both of the Pietro's as they spoke towards her. She wasn't sure if was her place and did feel a little bit awkward since she was right there and listening in on their conversation.

A few seconds later the Blackbird landed, which was good as she stared at the older version of her sister, she was a little bit freaked out by her information on what would happen to her two years from now if things didn't change soon. She was dead in their timeline that much she knew. Cassandra remained back next to Guin and gently rested a hand on her friend's back, Cass saw Guin as a sister as well after all she did train her as well.

"We should get settled in, though I need to speak to your dad for a bit." Cassandra said, she'd help Guin if she needed someone to talk to it was a weird situation after all. Cassandra then stepped off the ramp and listened to Tony as he brought up a place for them so that they could stay and be safe while they dealt with OMEN. "We would have to find another way out of the city though, OMEN would send more Sentinels after us the moment we take the Blackbird and would most likely be on us the moment we leave the city limits." It would be something she'd do if she was them. "Happen to know another way, or another ride out of the city. Also I need to contact SHIELD and tell them whats been going on."

Guinevere Stark, Folly Valeska, and Dean Kesseli

Location: Blackbird ---> Roof of Stark Tower

Dean blushed slightly as Carolina offered him a hand. She was beautiful, compassionate, and dangerous - the complete package. He hoped that he didn't look too obviously attracted to her or anything, but he made a mental note to see about spending more time with Carolina, see if he caught feelings for her. Sure, she was pretty, but he did want more than just a pretty face for any sort of relationship. Maybe, if prom still happened, she'd go with him? His mind was getting way ahead of itself and although Dean was unaware of this, it was a coping mechanism. Planning for a situation that may not even happen was far preferable to the crisis facing them - of systematic extinction and enslavement and pretty much everything done during the Holocaust, happening just to mutants this time. No one had really given them specifics, but it seemed about right to him.

"Sure, that'd be fun," Dean said with a grin. "Do you think Iron Man and Hulk would sign my..." he paused, seeing what he still had on him, "...Cold Stone Gift Card?" he asked, taking it out. "Or do you think they'd rather deface government property?" he then asked, taking out a bit of cash he had on him. He didn't really have a clean sheet of paper for a proper autograph, though part of him wondered if Iron Man would just have a stack of signed photos lying around his house or something.

Part of him wondered if Guin Stark got a different autograph from her father each year for her birthday - maybe she had a collection of them somewhere or something? He then couldn't help but wonder if Thor would be at Stark Tower as well. Or maybe Black Widow or Hawkeye! Or Captain America! His mind was completely focussed on girls and Avengers, rather than the deadly robots that the United States government had sent to kill them all. He gave Carolina a grin, before he got off the plane with her once all of those with injuries were loaded off.

Folly got off of the plane as well, going over to Thalia. She gave Tony a bit of a funny look - she was used to seeing the man with salt and pepper hair. He was about sixty years old in her time, about to become a grandfather as well. And sure, he wasn't a spry spring chicken here, but he was an Avenger and still in fantastic shape for someone in their early 50's. She stared at him for a moment, wondering if he'd share the secret he was keeping from his daughter earlier in this timeline - or perhaps even later or not at all. She imagined Palla Latchi was having a difficult time keeping it from her.

"O.M.E.N. might still target them there," Folly whispered to Mary. If they were lucky, O.M.E.N. would focus on the team rather than the students - but the idea made her nervous. They obeyed sovereign borders, at least at first. In their timeline, they actually ended up spending a fair amount of time in Serbia hiding from O.M.E.N., as the mutant laws were looser there. She was almost certain something similar would happen and that O.M.E.N. would know the Avengers were hiding the students. "Getting them out of the country might be for the best...Don't you have a property in Canada?" Folly suggested. They had hidden in a fair share of Stark houses and facilities over the years.

"I think that landing would've earned a solid six out of ten..." Guin mused, seeing the injured get off of the plane. She then looked at the two speedsters, wondering if they were going to let go of her so she could get off of the plane. She was trying not to think too much about it, and when Cassandra mentioned she needed to go talk to Guin's father, Guin nodded. And then she paled. She had freaked out finding out she married Pietro in the future - she was still freaking out - but how was her father going to react? He already had problems with her dating Pietro in the first place.

Future Pietro was silent, but he walked off the plane, leaving his younger counterpart with Guin. Pietro took her hand and led her off the plane, saying nothing else. Once off of the plane, Guin smiled slightly when she saw her dad, though she was still internally screaming. She wasn't even convinced that the future really could be changed. It was entirely possible that this wasn't a ripple - just a momentary diversion from the path but that the course of time would correct itself. There was an entire theory in quantum physics that supported that. "....What are we gonna do, Piet?" Guin mumbled.

"I don't know... We'll just have to see what happens..." he replied.

Guin nodded, glancing at Future Pietro. She stared at him for a moment, noticing how muscular he had gotten. Apparently Pietro starts working out... she mused to herself, before she reached out and touched Future Pietro's abs, clearly impressed by her facial expression. "...Huh...Nice work, Muscles."

"Hey!" the younger one said. "Uh... Thanks I think..." Future Pietro replied. Guin raised an eyebrow, staring at her boyfriend, but she poked Future Pietro in the muscles again, before she felt his biceps. "Are you really getting jealous of yourself, Piet?"

"Uh... Maybe? And he isn't me, I'm me!" he responded.

"He's you though - from the future and apparently after joining a body building club," Guin pointed out. "But would you feel better if I felt your muscles too?"

"No, he isn't me! Especially if somehow the timeline does change or something, I might never be him!"

Guin stared at Pietro again, thinking it through. Did he mean physically? If so, the idea of Pietro dying made her feel sick to her stomach and incredibly stressed. But if he meant emotionally - wasn't that the idea? To prevent an apocalyptic future and change how their lives turned out? "...It's not likely that the timeline can change...Maybe it will a little, but the course will correct itself...There's an entire theory in quantum physics about it..."

"Yeah? You do realize we have done small jumps before, on occasion anyway, to test to see if this was even worth attempting, so screw the theory, it is wrong," Future Pietro said, shaking his head.

"How big were the changes you made? Because if they're small ones, then that doesn't disprove the theory - and a theory isn't just something scientists threw out and thought sounded good, it's been agreed upon and has backing by piles of evidence...This shitty future is probably still going to happen, no matter what we do..."

"That's what you think, but we did test it out, once the Sentinels found our hideout, killed everyone except for me and Thalia, we went back in time, and got the base to move and get hidden before the Sentinels attacked, don't think that was small."

Guin fell silent. She was glad to hear that the theory was incorrect - since she had been feeling skeptical about this plan. But then again, even that could have been a small change. If they died that week versus the next, it wasn't a large difference in the grand scheme of things. However, something else was bothering her now - and she knew she shouldn't ask it but she was going to anyways. "In that...test...How did I die?" she asked.

"Sentinel, also those scientists who made that theory have never met a temporal dragon... Doubt they've met a dragon at all..."

"...That's not how theories are formed but okay...How many times have I died and you've done that time trick?"

"Only the once."

"If we're married....What was that like for you?" Guin then asked, wondering how much that had contributed to the haunted sadness that seemed to linger behind Future Pietro's expression.

"What was what like?"

"Me dying."

"...End of the world, contemplated running into a Sentinel on purpose if Thalia hadn't stopped me..."

Guin stared at Future Pietro in shock. "Why would you do that?!"

"...Because by then I would have had nothing else to live for..."

She nodded, trying not to hyperventilate from getting overwhelmed with all of this information. The knowledge that if she died, Pietro would try to kill himself...She couldn't help but wonder if her Pietro would act similarly. "...Y-you wouldn't freak out like that, right?" she asked the younger one.

"...I honestly don't know Guina..."

Guin bit her lip. She wanted to hear him say that he wouldn't do that - it would have helped her to calm down slightly. "Don't ever die for me or because of me, okay?" she requested, looking at Future Pietro for a moment before her gaze settled on her Pietro. She loved him and didn't want to be the reason that he died.

"...Alright, if you say so."

"I do say so," Guin said softly. "I'm not worth dying for."

"...Alright..."

Guin nodded, calming down slightly. If he didn't risk his life for her, then he wouldn't be in danger. It also helped her try to not think about the fact that she could ask Muscles any question and find out her entire future. She could find out if body swapping really was the extent of her powers or if she could do something more. He probably knew if her hair looked better shorter or longer, as well as who won the Noble Prize in Chemistry in the next three years. He'd know if Maddie ever left her alone or if she was still hounding her, trying to use her for fame and fortune. "That goes for you too, Muscles."

"Okay okay, I've already gotten that lecture..." he said, shaking his head.

"...Why do I get the impression you ignored it?"

"What makes you think that?"

Guin hesitated, frowning. Truthfully, she couldn't explain where that conclusion came from. It was like in the back of her mind, she just knew it. It was as if a tiny voice was whispering that to her and she had no idea where it came from. "....I don't know, call it my Spidey Sense or something...Just know you did...Somehow..."

"I have listened to it!" he protested with a laugh.

Guin's eyebrows furrowed, as she started to get a slight headache. "You did but....you...you disagreed with it."

"Well that's just common sense, why would I agree with it?"

She stared at him and her headache seemed to worsen, as she put a hand to her head. "Whatever, Muscles..." She figured it was just caused by stress or dehydration, but it did hurt. The pressure seemed to be localized towards the back of her head as well.

Future Pietro gave her a smile, saying nothing else.

Damon

location: Stark tower roof top

Damon inhaled and rubbed his face somewhat. Lately he had been out of touch...avoiding people more then usual and really seeming almost like he hadnt even been there lately.Which was not technically wrong...he had been lost in thoughts more then usual and now he had come back to himself...he was pretty sure that if anyone had noticed they probably didnt think much of it anyway...he hoped. He had been doing weird things to try and see his limits. For example..what would happen if he covered up the tattoos with makeup. The result...they get upset and when they appear a skin colored tattoo animal is a lot more freaky then the tribal furred version. The other side was how often he had been seen with a sketch book and headphones, making him even more unreachable then before. Whatever he was sketching in there was a mystery at best.

And now Damon seemed a lot more into his mind because well excitement at the mansion. New people he could avoid...new people that were from the future he couldnt exactly ignore. It was an odd situation at best and he found himself listening but not imputing as usual. Of course the exciting events on the blackbird left him pretty much useless and not able to come up with any solutions for that. Instead remaining silent through that and if his input had been asked for he would have added. Instead he found himself absent mindedly scratching at his arm...specifically where the dragon tattoo was. A recent odd habit that he had no idea the reason for its development. Dammit he hated being useless. His arrows would do nothing against a robot and all of his tattoos were animals that would be easily killed by them. Except maybe the dragon but given the difficulty to control it that was a 50-50. Harder scratch and a huff from him as he had ended up watching.

Slowly, he fully left his thoughts and looked at stark tower. He really needed off of this plane and well onto the roof he went rolling his shoulders as he did. At least he had his bow arrows and bag with supplies...and sketch book. Another shoulder roll as he looked from person to person at the team that was here. He felt like an outsider...which had never hit before until now. Did the new people even know who he was? he doubted it especially since he didnt really know them. Perhaps he needed to change just a bit. Get to know people be more in the team...more present. Now if only he wasnt so damn socially awkward and hed be able to start doing that. His hands slid into his pockets and well...he seemed quite the awkward tattooed guy with his hair more disheveled then usual and a 5 o clock shadow upon his face. Everyone was already talking he didn't want to interrupt...

Nina van Essenhout

Location: Blackbird

Collapsing onto the concrete by Thalia, Nina had scrambled to her feet to look the mutant over. Thankfully the wounds didn't seem fatal, though no doubt she was in pain. Standing back as Folly fled to her friend, Nina fell in line beside Cassandra, silently counting the students in her head as they filed off the plane. Only looking away when the number met the population of the school, Nina turned her attention back to the conversation at hand.

"The Blackbird will attract too much attention now. If we're moving the children again, maybe we should split up? Each capable member to take a handful of students." Nina suggested, figuring it would be best to split up the Sentinels as much as possible, even if they had greater numbers than they realised. "Would it be possible to get some help from S.H.I.E.L.D? Or the Avengers, even?" She looked between Cassandra and Tony as she spoke, hoping they could give a positive answer. While she understood both groups had their own battles to fight, the lives of innocent children were at stake here.

Charlie Farrier

Location: Blackbird

"If you say so." Charlie muttered unsurely in response, watching as Lance hobbled off the plane. Going over to give Beast a hand as recommended, Charlie watched the very awkward reunion between Lance and Bruce. Clearly, they didn't have a very good relationship. Bruce seemed almost tentative around his son despite the injuries he sported (and to Charlie, it seemed he'd forgotten his name or something. Was there any need for such excessive use of the word 'Buddy'?) Still, Lance was acting too much like an angsty teenager. Charlie didn't know their story so he held off on any judgement, but it seemed to him like the two had some serious familial problems that needed to be talked about.

At least everyone was safe on Stark Tower. Seeing Tony Stark himself was kinda awesome, especially with the suit on.

Lance Banner, Marygold Isley, and Mirembe Adebayo

Location: Stark Tower Roof

Banner stared at Bethany for a moment, before he walked over to Tony with his hands in his pockets as if he hadn’t heard her. “Tony...This isn’t a problem we can punch our way out of....they’ll turn our kids into lab rats...”

"Yeah, well we can't exactly do anything about it right now, we've got to get everyone inside first. Also Agent Reed, we've got SHIELD quinjets here, should be able to get the students out of here pretty easily. They wouldn't dare shoot at SHIELD gear, since I'm guessing they would not like that. We'll help you all as much as possible, but not all of the Avengers are within shouting distance, so you probably would only get help from us. Let's get inside, Banner, will need you to help patch anyone up who needs it," Tony said, leading the way inside.

Mary nodded to Bethany as they helped Thalia along, who was still somewhat out of it. She looked over at Folly, "We aren't exactly allowed to take them out of the country without their parents' consent or something like that, so we need to keep them in the US, at least for now," she said in response to her comment about getting the kids to Canada or something.

They may be a group of mutants, but the mansion was a completely registered school, meaning they still had rules that they had to follow. Mary didn't like the idea of having to follow the rules, she was perfectly fine with the idea of getting the kids out of the country, but they would have to do a lot of things in order to make that even remotely possible.

Lance sort of limped slightly, heading straight down to their medical area, he did wish that he was able to reach his own injuries, so he would have been able to patch himself up without any problems, but no, he couldn't. So he knew he had to wait until the others got down there, and he'd still insist that the others get help first, there were a few people who definitely needed it more than him.

Once inside the main floor, Tony looked around at everyone who was there. It certainly was an odd group, and he only really knew a few of them because of Guin. "Alright, anyone who needs medical help can follow Banner to our medical area for help, everyone else, stay up here so we don't really crowd it or something, probably should talk about what happened and where we go from here," Tony said as he headed for the bar on the upper level.

Banner said nothing, just heading down in the direction Lance had gone just moments before, and Mary helped Thalia along down towards medical. She herself still had a head injury, but it wasn't too bad, and Folly had insisted that it wasn't fatal, so that helped her to feel better about it. They needed to come up with a plan, and the best way for them to do that was to make sure everyone could think straight before they even tried to come up with something.

Future Pietro just walked behind everyone else, letting his younger counterpart stick close to Guin as they entered the building. He looked over at Guin and Pietro, before he headed over to the main area. That could have gone better over all, but it definitely could have gone a lot worse. Everyone was still alive, for the moment anyway, and that was already better than what happened in their timeline. They were doing better already, and that was all that mattered to him.

Mira had been relatively silent, just listening to everyone else talk. She followed the others inside, before heading into the main area. Looking around, she found a TV remote, and looked at the screen. Odds were there was probably some sort of news coverage revolving around the mansion, kind of hard for there not to be considering the fact that it was a school. They couldn't just ignore it. She glanced back at the others, before she turned the TV on and flipped it to a news station, just in time for a breaking news coverage.

"This just in, there seems to have been some sort of attack or incident at the Xavier Institute, and we are just now getting some visual images of this..." the news broadcaster said as live video footage of the mansion popped up on screen. There wasn't much left of the mansion, it was mostly just a pile of rubble, with some of the support beams still standing, it looked like the Sentinels and OMEN did a number on it. "No one knows what exactly happened here, we will update more on this story throughout the day, but there is one question on everyone's minds. Where are the students? And did they survive the attack?"

"...Figured the news would be all over this... Makes sense, it was a school after all..." Mira said softly, looking at the screen.

Allison Andrews

Location: Stark Tower: Med Bay

She had been brought to the medical area, but even as the others talked, there was more going inside Allison's mind.

Two of her stood there in the darkness. One dressed in a white gown that almost glowed. The other, in darker clothing with a much more....revealing nature to it.

"We have nothing to discuss!" the white dress one spoke. Her face remained calm, but the tone of her words spoke of more harshness. "Yes we do. You saw it as well as I did." The black dressed one spoke. The two almost looked like they were squaring off.

"There is no doubt what we saw was tragic, but we cannot let our emotions drive us that much." The other one laughed haughtily. "You new? Her emotions drive her forward constantly! I've let you take the lead constantly. She needs me now." "No, she needs calmness. She just went through a lot." The dark one turned. It seemed like she was walking away, but she turned suddenly, eyes glowing bright pink before she unleashed a bolt of psionic energy as the white dressed one. She was flung backwards, not suspecting it.

"Fuck that! Oshea died helping us save the world and these bastards are now hunting us? Trying to capture us and experiment on us and we are just supposed to roll over and accept that? The X-men may be ok with being victims, but I am sick of it! I am sick of being a hero and constantly labeled a villain. It's my turn now!"

The white one lay there, motionless. More sleeping than anything, really, but the black one got what she wanted. Her eyes still glowed as she gave a wicked grin.

It was her time now.

Sara Grey

Location: Stark Tower

Sara broke off from Ayita and Allison to be with the others. Thankful to be out of the mess. She looked around as Iron Man, of all people, spoke. She could tell why Blondie went gaga over him. However, it wasn't like she hadn't met these people before. Her aunt was famous, after all. Or was it infamous now? Either way, she moved over to watch the TV as it was turned on, broadcasting the news.

The attack was live on feed. It seemed quick. Too quick. "How much you wanna bet they are going to get them to spin the story to blame us? Now that we know the truth about the attack." She was sure they would be labeled the villains. The presidential elect would use it to get himself more power. What better way to get your goal the best way than to point the finger at someone else?

Ayita Dyrkin & Richard Laine

Location Blackbird

Ayita had shifted back to hand Allison's limp body over to Banner. Though she was close enough to eye level with the man, standing just a bare inch short of six feet, Ayita gave him a careful and pointed look over. Her amber eyes narrowed as the predator within her assessed this being. Finding something suiting her, or perhaps nothing she was disapproving of, the woman nodded slowly. "Take care of her." For all her figure was scarred and battered, a warrior's, her voice was soft. Turning on her heel the woman knocked Richard's hand aside as her brother moved to wrap it about her shoulder. Doubtless to lead her after the others as if she was some pup! Though she greeted Damon with a tiger's chuff of welcome. The man being one of the few humans she cared to be around.

Richard yanked his hand back as Ayita cast a look of irritation at him. She was in a mood it seemed. Though he knew it was most likely due to his growl at her. Ayita was not easy to anger but hit a button just right and she would be riled. Not raging or sulking, but irritated and not willing to give or receive affections for a time. Richard rubbed the back of his head as he followed after the others. It was something he had been doing a lot of these last few months. For all his little sister claimed to have no pride, she had enough to sustain herself on for the next eon. The Adder thought with a sardonic smile. A smile which faded as he looked at the news. "Most likely they will make it out as the X-Men are taking the children as hostages." The Adder gave a sharp hiss of agitation. "They will want to spin us in the worst light and themselves in the light of- at least- blameless."

Ayita studied the building as a deep rumble sprouted from her chest. She had to agree with her brother on this one. "Humans are the only species I thus far know to raise themselves upon morals that hurt their own potential." The woman huffed a irritated breathe as Richard cast her a raised brow. Braiding a length of hair over one shoulder the female shifter shrugged off her brother's gaze. "They attack us, by law should we not strike back? The strong survive, the weak do not. Even amongst your cities this is true." The shifter pointed out with a soft voice, tying off the end of the braid.

Carolina Reed

Location: The Blackbird

Carolina gave Dean a smile she did notice the blush, but she didn't want to say anything about it, as he asked her if Tony would be willing to sign something of his. Seeing his Cold Stone Gift Card, that would be a weird thing for him to sign most likely, he also had money on him to, she met his gaze once more he was certainly cute in her opinion. "Honestly? Id personally just go with a shirt or something." Carolina said as she got off the Blackbird and started to follow everyone else out of the plane and into Stark Tower itself, noticing her sister talking to Tony. She left all the SHIELD mission strategy stuff to her, she'd follow whoevers orders she was given. Hearing Tony saying to stay close, and not to wonder off she really did want to explore.

She stared over towards Dean for a moment, she wasn't sure if he wanted to disobey his orders and explore around or not it wasn't every day you could go into the Avengers HQ and see what the place actually looked like on the inside. Carolina headed into the main room, as Mira turned the news on seeing their former home now in ruins by OMEN and their massive hunter killer bots. She decided to stick close to Dean for now, as she listened to the others as they talked about what to do next. She stared over at her future self, she still felt weird around her. "Feels really weird seeing my older self over there." She said towards Dean.

Future Carolina Reed

Location: The Blackbird

Future Carolina followed everyone who was injured towards the medical area of the tower, she had to admit the place did look really impressive as she moved Thalia towards an open medical bed. She looked at Folly and nodded towards her, as she moved over towards the other end of the room. Her attention turned towards Banner, she figured that he could use a hand though it was out of her element she was willing to help out. She stared at Beast and Allison seeing the other two injured there, Allison seemed to overstrained herself with her powers.

"Is there anything I can do to help?" Future Carolina asked as her attention turned towards Banner as she would occasionally look over towards the others in he next room. Seeing her younger self next to Dean for a moment, and then looked towards the news screen as they started to go on about what had happened at the mansion. She was glad that hey all made it out alive, and no one died this time that was still a win in her own mind.

Bethany Bell
[

Location: The Blackbird

Bethany stared at Banner, completely ignoring her and shrugged it off as she followed Marygold into the medical area and helped Beast down onto the bed. Sighing slightly as she cracked her fingers slightly, she moved over towards Lance she stared at the glass sticking out of his back and decided that he could use the help. She stared at the older version of Carolina, she wasn't sure what to think of the woman yet as she turned her attention back at Lance. "Want me to patch you up? I'm sure you dont want your pops tending to you She asked figuring that he didn't want Banner touching him.

She watched the news play in the room across from her, it felt like she had just gotten to the mansion and now it was suddenly destroyed she was glad that they all got out alive which was good. She leaned herself up against a nearby shelf and adjusted her hair slightly she wasn't sure who else to really talk to at the moment.

Cassandra Reed

Location: The Blackbird

Cassandra smiled slightly and nodded, having some Quinjets was useful they could easily be used to carry the other students safely out of the city. And they were much quicker then the Blackbird, she did however want to contact SHIELD and see if they could also lend more of a hand. "Thank you, we can use whatever you have on hand." Cassandra said as she looked over towards Nina and nodded towards her, she wasn't sure how much SHIELD was willing to lend Stark had some SHIELD tech in the building, but they also did need some extra hands out to help as well.

"Do you happen to have any secure lines to SHIELD so that I can report in, and see if they are willing to lend a hand out as well?" Cassandra asked as she followed everyone else into Stark Tower, she stared at the TV as Mira turned it on seeing the mansions destruction made her blood boil. She hated OMEN even more now, after she found out what happened at Coventry with her sister from what Carolina could remember that is. "OMEN will probably be knocking on your door soon as well." Cass said towards Tony.

Guin Stark, Folly Valeska, and Dean Kesseli

Location: Stark Tower - Top Level

Dean looked down at his shirt for a moment. There was one small problem with that idea - he felt almost certain his shirt would be destroyed or he'd toss it in the wash, forgetting it had been signed by the Incredible Hulk and the Invincible Iron Man! He wondered if they'd sign it with their real names or their codenames. For Dr. Banner, he was hoping for the codename. Everyone cared about the Hulk, not the scientist that contained that lethal force. And for Iron Man, Dean felt like he'd be thrilled either way. Both Iron Man and Tony Stark were incredibly famous figures - though he didn't quite recognize them as being one and the same.

"I mean, it lets you know that you survived, right?" Dean tried to say encouragingly. He had a feeling that he hadn't made it in the future - with the way Future Pietro had looked at him when he helped Pietro trip him up, it told him a lot. It was the way you looked at a long lost friend - or an acquaintance that you could have just sworn vanished years and years ago. It would've been a shock for him to discover that he wasn't dead in the future - though his gut feeling was correct. He hadn't made it. And just like he coped with the loss of his family by clinging to normalcy and visions of school that were inspired by Zac Effron and Vanessa Hudgens, he was fixating on prom even more now just to try and avoid dealing with the realization that unless this effort succeeded, he'd be dead within ten years.

Folly hesitated, about to go and join Mary in the medical area, but she knew she'd only be getting in the way and she hung back, gravitating over towards Future Pietro. Her hallucinations seemed to be held back for the moment, but she couldn't help but feel a bit of anxiety towards letting Mary out of her sight. What if all they'd managed to do was buy her a couple of hours of life? She bit her lip, trying her best to stay calm. Her medication had worn off and she knew the more emotional she allowed herself to become, the greater the risk of a deadly hallucination. She wanted to keep the images of Boris, her father, away. They always incited her to hurt people.

"How will we know when the future is safe, Palla Latchi?" Folly asked Future Pietro softly.

"We'll know... Thalia can see different timelines, she'll be able to tell..."

She thought about that for a moment, thankful that her thoughts were mostly clear. They had only begun to cloud slightly. "So we still haven't done enough yet, then?"

"Yup..."

Folly nodded and turned to look at the television screen, seeing the news report play. She heard the mumbling as to different approaches O.M.E.N. could take to frame it and for a moment, she wondered if they shouldn't have gone back further and killed Alex when they had the chance to. She and Thalia had met him before, back in Boston. "...We might have made a darker future then..." she whispered. They could have claimed that they were trying to free the children from the X-Men. All they needed was a talented journalist and a few well placed tweets.

Guin was about to walk over to her father, only to make a face as she saw Nina there. She wanted to tell him about everything she had learned - just to see what his perspective on it all was. They thought similarly and maybe, he'd be able to help her wrap her head around it. But as it stood, Guin couldn't decide if she'd rather see Maddie or Nina talking to Tony. Both of them, in her opinion, were completely horrible people. She wouldn't have been surprised if Nina built the Sentinels and sold them out.

"Why can't she just go away and not breathe the same air as everyone else..." Guin muttered to Pietro. Pietro shrugged slightly, "I don't know Guina... But we have to deal with it." She sighed, gripping Pietro's hand a little tighter before she walked on over to her father, catching the tail end of the questions Cassandra and Nina were posing him. Tony nodded at Cassandra. "Yeah, we've got one, it is the phone on the wall over there that is painted red and has a light that flashes whenever there is a call," he explained, gesturing over towards the phone.

Guin glared slightly at Nina, before she gave her father a hug. Despite what some may believe about their relationship, they both cared a lot about each other. They just tended to be brutally honest when it came to emotions, causing them to get into intense screaming matches that ended with them coming to a new understanding. "Hey, Dad," Guin said quietly. She didn't quite like having people here constantly to watch this, but it couldn't be helped. She was used to people staring at her father and interrupting family moments.

"Hey there Penguin, had a rough day from the look of things," Tony said softly, hugging his daughter back.

"Yeah, no shit Sherlock...Do you have a sec to talk in private, Dad?" Guin asked, pulling away from the hug. She really didn't want Nina to be there to hear this conversation. She didn't want Nina to be there to hear any conversation, to be honest.

"Sure," he replied, before moving off to the side, with Guin following him. She bit her lip slightly and rocked back and forth on her heels, trying to think of how best to say all of this. It sounded insane. She had seen proof and she still couldn't quite wrap her head around it. "So, O.M.E.N. attacking the school wasn't the only thing that happened...Four people from the future showed up to help us escape...The man with the silver hair? With all the muscles and the cute stubble? That's Pietro from the future where...where apparently we're married..."

"...What?" he said, before looking over at both of the Pietros, glaring. Guin just nodded, not really sure what else to say. The entire situation freaked her out. Yes, she loved Pietro, but the thought of having that big a choice in her life already made for her...It was frightening.

"...I'll kill him."

Guin's eyes widened. She knew her father was capable of it, as long as he had the suit and a bit of prep time. "No, Dad, don't!"

"Why the hell not?"

"...I love him, Dad, I'm just freaking out, okay? If I knew you were going to try to kill him I wouldn't have said anything...Probably shouldn't have said anything in the first place..." she muttered, looking at the ground. It wasn't with very many people that Guin showed that type of vulnerability. She tended to hide her feelings behind cheesy one liners and cheap tricks. But with her father, she was honest. It was their deal.

Tony let out a sigh, "Fine."

"...I don't know what to do, Dad..." Guin admitted, feeling very small.

"Don't worry... It'll be alright."

"...What will be? Because apparently this is the start of an apocalyptic future, where O.M.E.N. tries to wipe out the mutant population and causes the world to end...Where we have to hide like we're in a bad Michael Bay movie and everyone we know dies...Or the fact that apparently I'm going to marry Pietro and I do love him but I'm scared that if I stay with him it'll be because I know another version of me did and not because I want to...."

"All of it... Don't worry... We'll solve problems one step at a time."

Guin nodded, looking at him. "Okay, Dad," she replied softly. Tony gave her another hug, before he pulled away, walking back to the others. Guin watched him head off, before she went over to her Pietro and took his hand again. "Are you okay?" she asked quietly.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Guin smiled slightly. She was pretty sure Pietro was fearless. "...Just a heads up, my dad threatened to kill you..."

"...Good to know..."

Damon

location: Stark tower

Damon followed the others down but paused at the sound from ayita, giving her a nod. He had been distant from her as well and while not intended he was okay with staying away from her brother. The guy was attractive...a weird thing for him to realize, but he was not about to linger on that. He didnt listen in to the brother and the sister but instead made his way fully into the tower and paused as soon as the screen of the television came into view. He listened and listened to Sara's remarks.

"Oh they are definitely going to pin it on us." he rolled his shoulders and shook his head. "But we cannot just retaliate at them now. Anything we do that can be viewed as even slightly bad will make it worse." His arms crossed. "I have no idea how to go about this or even how to deal with any of it, but once it has been pinned on us if we look any worse that turns everyone on us" That was a lot of speaking from him, but he hopped he was making a point. That and he found he couldn't really stop himself from speaking....it was...rambling.

Another pause as he then ran a hand through his hair. "I really do not want to just sit here though. get people to safety sure but let them get away with that...." he trailed off. Damon was frustrated at best and this whole thing really made him want to throw rules out the window in favor of instinct and revenge. But his brain wouldn't let him right now. His eyes flickered downward not really wanting to see the reaction.

Nina van Essenhout

Location: Stark Tower

By the time Guin had wandered over and the others had dissipated, Nina had found herself looking at the skyline worryingly, eyes scanning the horizon in the fear that the Sentinels would come back. Only looking back as Guin piped up, Nina excused herself and went inside, following the injured individuals to help out. It was the least she could do now - and better than waiting on tenterhooks outside, sure of another attack on it's way.

Taking in the amount injured - thankfully, quite small - Nina made her way to Beast who was currently not being attended to. Forcing a comforting smile on her face, she began examining the head wound.

"We'll get you sorted Hank. Try to relax - the kids are safe now." A more accurate statement would have been "safe for now", but the last thing Beast needed was more stress.

Charlie Farrier

Location: Stark Tower

After getting Beast somewhere where someone could actually help him out, Charlie gravitated towards the TV like several others, watching with a clenched jaw as the news story was unfolded. He agreed with Sara and the others. Of course, they'd had a back-up plan in the case of escape. What would they have spun if they'd captured them all? Or worse, killed them? Probably blame it on a mutant going postal, knowing the US government. It didn't really matter who the scapegoats were, the US sure did a good job of weaving fake propaganda about them to get the public on their side.

"We can't even come on TV to defend ourselves either. They'd probably show up busting doors down." He muttered darkly, flopping into a chair with a groan and rubbing his eyes. Even though he hadn't even done anything useful (Which in turn made him feel pretty useless), he felt exhausted, as if the adrenaline rush of the past hour had just completely drained him of his energy. God only knew how Allison, Sara and the two women who had supported the wing outside felt. "Where do you suppose the real X-Men are? Cyclops, Storm? They should be able to help us out." He asked to nobody in particular, hoping someone would have an answer. Someone waging war against all of mutantkind didn't seem like a job that teenagers and young adults would be able to handle by themselves.

Marygold Isley and Mirembe Adebayo

Location: Stark Tower - Main Area

Mary left the medical area after she got Thalia on one of the beds, and headed back to the main area. She had a list of things to do, one of them being that she needed to have a little chat with Ayita, and maybe Richard if he chose to be apart of it. The whole point of the team was to prove that they were better than the Brotherhood, that not all mutants were bad, and actually killing people when you had a choice not to was a major thing. Yes, she was fine if there was no choice but to, but from what she knew, others had tried to stop Ayita from killing someone, since she had the option not to kill.

She walked in and glanced over at the TV when it shifted to commercial, and she just so happened to be hear Charlie's comment when she walked over, and she had to suppress the urge to hit him in the head. "First of all, they are retired, technically... Secondly, we do NOT need their help, and the third thing, I only know where Rogue and Remy are, which is Louisiana, and Scott and Jean are in New York State somewhere. Not to mention there was a falling out with the Professor that they all thought I didn't know about. Last time I saw any of them was Remy, and that was almost a year ago. We do not need their help unless absolutely necessary! And clearly you think this sort of thing is something we might not be able to handle, so why don't you just keep quiet about it!"

After a moment, she took a few deep breaths to calm down. She was freaking out, and she had no idea what to do in their situation. Turning, she looked at Damon, "Don't worry, we aren't going to let them get away with it," she said more calmly, though she was still taking a few deep breaths. Mira looked at her, and it was pretty obvious that Mary might be having a melt down or something, since she wanted to get everyone out of this situation, and to her it was sounding like that might not exactly be possible.

"The question is, how exactly are we going to do that? After all, they have the upper hand in almost every way. They have the support of the general public, we don't, odds are they will use that to their advantage, and even if the truth that they were behind it did come out, they might still be able to twist the truth to support them..." Mira said softly, and Mary turned to look at her now.

"I know that... No matter what we do they'd have some way to fix things to help them... No, we'd have to go straight to the source and attack the organizations HQ, and reveal what they are doing that way. Problem with that plan is that if we failed, that would be used against us even more than everything right now... There isn't exactly much we can do without there being a chance. If we strike them and fail, we literally "prove" their own point that all mutants are dangerous to the general population, so no matter what we do, one screw up and it is all over. That is the reality of the situation..."

"So, there is not much we can do, it isn't like we can walk up to Jakobsen, who from what we can tell is the leader or a powerful member of the group and do something that way..."

"Uh, I actually am best friends with a guy who is friends with Jakobsen. Rhodey and him are old friends, and I think Jakobsen last I checked owed Rhodey a favor..."

Mary just stared at Tony when he said that. So, sounds like they might actually be able to get close enough to Jakobsen to at least try talking to him after all. Sure, it might be a bad idea in the long run, but still, if it didn't work there was no way Jakobsen could actually twist the truth to work in his favor. "You know, you could have told us this a little while ago right?"

"The thought just occurred to me since she mentioned it," Tony responded with a shrug, and Mary just shook her head. For someone who was supposedly a genius, he really could be dumb. Either that or just wanting to wait for a suspenseful moment or something, and after she thought about it for a moment, when it came to Tony Stark the latter was more likely to actually be true.

"...So we could see about using that to our advantage then..." Mira muttered, glancing over as Future Pietro walked up.

"Wouldn't recommend trying, you can't exactly reason with Jakobsen, he's a mad man, doesn't care about anyone but himself. You'd be walking into a trap if you tried to get close enough to actually talk to him."

"We've got to try something, and striking them at their HQ without any sort of plan is likely to get us killed or potentially worse. They know where we are, but we can't take the fight to them at the moment, since as I said before, one small misstep and we could make things a whole lot worse!"

He let out a sigh, shaking his head, "Fine, if everyone else is fine with at least attempting it, I won't stop you, majority rules after all, I'm just saying don't be surprised that when you go talk to Jakobsen, well, don't be surprised if he tries something..."

"I will keep that in mind, what are everyone elses' thoughts on this?" Mary asked, looking around at the group.

Lance Banner

Location: Stark Tower - Medical

Lance nodded to Bethany, saying nothing. It wasn't like he could patch up his own injuries, all of the glass was embedded in his back, so he was fine letting her help him out. Then of course his dad came in and basically ignored what he had told him, and came over to him. "...I'm his father and I have several advanced degrees....I've got this...." he said before despite Lance's grumbling Banner stopped the bleeding in his back and gave him a small blood transfusion. "Hey buddy....you....you feeling better?"

"I'm fine, I told you to go help the others before me, why don't you listen..." Lance grumbled, glaring at him. Banner bit his lip, looking at Lance. He opened his mouth for a moment to say something, before he just shook his head and went back to work on Lance's injuries silently. Lance tried to get away from him. "Stop it! Last thing we need is for you and me to have another argument that could end really badly!"

"....You're my son, buddy...." Banner mumbled, his voice breaking as tears came from his eyes. "....You're always my first priority...even though you hate me...."

"Whatever... Maybe we should help the person that was helping to hold up the plane and nearly got shot out of the sky by robots, or the blue furry person who is really smart, and could actually probably help us out a bit," Lance said as he stood up and grabbed some medical equipment and started heading towards Beast and Thalia. Banner didn't say anything, just staring at Lance and feeling like he was better off dead.

"That is good to hear Ms. van Essenhout," Hank muttered, managing to stay conscious

Lance ignored his dad and wandered over to Beast, since his injuries had occurred first, he might as well try and patch him up. "Don't worry, I do have some medical training actually... Lance muttered, and after a few moments, he had Beast patched up completely and set up with a blood transfusion. "There, you should be feeling a lot better soon..." he mumbled.

Thalia on her bed was completely out cold. Her body was covered in some burns, and there was still some blood coming from her head, turning her silver hair red. Lance wandered over to her, trying to figure out what to do. He didn't really know what to do for her injuries, but his main goal was to stop her head from bleeding, so he started there, but it was probably going to take him a while, since apparently his dad wasn't helping.

Banner hesitated for a moment, before he went to help Lance with Thalia. He had tears in his eyes but said nothing. After a few moments, Lance stepped back, saying nothing as he went and sat down again, his back was hurting a lot still. He gave Bethany a small smile, before he looked away and at the ground.

Sara Grey

Location: Stark Tower

Sara listened to all the parties talk. Especially when Charlie mentioned the other X-men. Sara knew all too well that the relationship with the past X-men and their current roster was not so good anymore. Aunt Jean made that clear in their conversations. Still, she knew that Jean would look at what happened with open eyes and realize that something was wrong. Would she seek them out? Would she seek her out? She didn't know.

"I mean, what do you expect? We can't go to Jakobsen and be like 'Hey, we know you tried to capture us and sent Sentinels after us.' Like, he would deny the hell out of it and he has the support of majority of the country, not to mention this British chick and if James Bond films have taught me anything, it's that British chicks are crafty people. If we are going to go at him, we need to do so secretly. Which also means we can't have all of us go. Would he know our faces? This seems like suicide to me, quite frankly."

Allison Andrews

Location: Stark Tower: Med Bay -> Main Area

Allison woke up, blinking to get rid of the blurriness. She could hear people talking nearby. She sat up carefully and glanced over, seeing the silver haired woman on one of the beds and Lance talking to Bethany and Hank, along with Bruce. It occurred to her that no one was fretting over her. She had exerted herself too. Not that she was downplaying the silver haired woman's achievement. After all, she was being shot at too. But shouldn't someone be checking on her.

"Typical. I get the short end of the stick, yet again." Not even Ayita was here to check on her. She stood up and made her way across the room towards the exit.

She inched across the hallway, letting her thoughts race. "We save the fricken' world and then this jackass sends Snetinels after us! This is a bunch of bullshit." She made her way towards the main area, seeing the others around the TV, showing a newscast with the X-mansion (or what's left of it). She heard snippets of conversation as she made her way over. It seemed like the others had the idea of going to face him head on. She wouldn't mind that if it was anyone but Mary that suggested it. The girl clearly could not lead. After all, the first mission led to Oshea's death and the second led to all of this.

"I wouldn't mind going after him, but Sara has a point. Pretty stupid to even think of it." She glared at Mary before continuing. "They are going to keep after us, so I think we need to fight back. However we do it, we do it quickly. Don't give them a chance to regroup. For all we know, they are plotting to take us at this tower now."

Carolina Reed

Location: Stark Tower

"I guess, but knowing that Cass dies is a very unsettling future." Carolina said softly as she replied and looked over towards Dean and gave him a slight smile. He did have a point though that she would still be alive in ten years, and not dead or experimented on by OMEN. "Still it's just weird in general." Carolina said as she looked over towards Damon as he started to speak, she shook her head they needed to strike back right away. They attacked a school full of kids after all, that is worth retaliation, and they needed to hit them back hard and expose them as well. Then Charlie spoke up as he mentioned the retired X-Men, she was about to say something when Mary entered the room.

They were the new X-Men now, the stopped the Brotherhood after all as well, and stopped a viral outbreak from happening they could take down OMEN just as easily if they could. They just needed to figure out a plan and attack OMEN she looked towards Dean for a moment, wondering what his thoughts were, and when Marygold asked for their thoughts she wanted to hit them back. "I say we try and hit them back, and get dirt on them." Carolina finally spoke in, and then looked over her future counter part as she stepped out of the medical room and quickly spoke up. And then Allison came out as well as she started to speak out about going after OMEN as well, she did agree with them they needed to hit back first.

Future Carolina Reed

Location: Stark Tower

Future Carolina sighed slightly she didn't know what to do at the moment as she looked towards Nina and gave her a slight nod as she went to tend to Beast. She eyed Bruce and Lance as the two of them started to go at it again, it really wasn't any of her business at all really either to butt in. She eyed Thalia she really didn't know what to do to tend to her, she wasn't medically trained either as much as she wanted to help her friend, she didn't want to make things worse for her either. "Just tend to Thalia, and Beast. Future Carolina asked, before turning around and started to make her way out of the medical bay. She listened in on everyone as they started to speak about a way to attack OMEN next.

Future Carolina looked at her youngerself for a moment and gave her a slight nod before making her way towards Folly and Future Pietro. Before speaking up she looked at them for a moment, and then Tony started to bring up that there was a way to bring out Jakobson which was good. "We all don't have to attack OMEN at once, we could use a small team to get in." She said as she eyed her youngerself for a moment once more. "Just get me or, younger version of me close enough and either her or I could possess him and take control over him and then we sneak in and get all the dirt we can and get out." Future Carolina turned her attention towards Allison seeing her getting out of the medical bay, she certainly seemed to be very different from the way that she spoke and listened to her speak.

Bethany Bell
[

Location: Stark Tower

Bethany looked towards Bruce when he butted in and held up her arms and took a step back to let him tend to his son, she looked towards Lance and gave him an apologetic look for a moment. But she remained close by and watched closely as Bruce patched up Lance, she did want to learn anyway. She did feel a bit awkward as Lance and Bruce continued to be at each other's throats. She remained close by to everyone in the medical bay, she looked at Nina and gave her a slight nod as she watched Bruce and assisted wherever she could, doing her best to keep up as well.

Once they were all patched up, Bethany walked over and sat down at a nearby chair and looked over towards Lance as well and gave him a slight smile as well. She really didn't know what was going on between father and son, but Beth decided to not bring it up right in front of him after all. She would wait until he left the room and then ask, because it was really bothering her and she was just really curious in general as well. Bethany would occasionally look over towards the other room picking up bits and pieces of what they were talking and what to do next. "So what do you think we should do next?" Beth asked him, as she watched Allison finally starting to come to, and made her way out of the room towards the others.

Cassandra Reed

Location: Stark Tower

Cassandra eyed Tony for a moment, and simply shook her head she was used to Guin's snark sometimes it must run in the family as well, she turned her attention towards the others as they started to speak up. Cassandra made her way towards the nearby phone and started to dial in the number. She needed to find out and see if SHIELD would be able to lend a hand, they needed to get the younger kids out of the area before OMEN would attack again. Cassandra waited for awhile as she leaned up against the wall eyeing the X-Men as they all started to gather and figure out their next move.

Then the future version of her sister walked out and started to chime in on a possible plan, eye stared at them both Cass did like the idea of using her sister at all for a mission against OMEN. Then Allison started to come out of the room, she was surprised to see her up and about already now as she listened to the others, and so far the conciseness was to strike back at OMEN first. She had a feeling that it would turn out badly though.
