Iris Rivers

Location: Blackbird Hangar
Skills: Survival Skills

"I hear you loud and clear, I'll go ahead and stick to darling," Iris replied to Mira, giving the girl a cheery thumbs up. Mischief danced on the corner of her lip, pulling it up into a half-smile. Her attention was pulled off her best frenemy when the previously hostile swordswoman pulled herself out of the rubble. She glanced over to Bethany to see if she was prepared to try their plan now that she had a clear line of sight, but relaxed when it appeared that the girl was no longer out to kill them. Before they could have much of a chat, the hippos charged their little group. Iris tried to dodge out of the way of the one heading towards her, but failed, causing it to toss her a few feet through the air, crumpling to the ground.

"Ugh, why does everything hate me?" she quietly whined, once again pushing her tall frame off the ground into a standing position. Seeing Klara snuggling up to a hippo, Iris' shoulders slumped down and her lips jutted out in an exaggerated pout. "Aw man, why can't I have a cool power like that?" She was so enamored by the girl's charm ability, she almost didn't get her hands over her ears in time. When she pulled them away, she found that a number of the hippos were dealt with. When Klara asked about her eye, Iris cast a sympathetic glance over to Neil.

"Uh, yeah, my bad, I'm really sorry about that. I kinda got carried away in the heat of battle, y'know? I'm sure we'll be able to get you a robot eye once this is all over though!" Iris piped up, willing to take one for the team. With everything that happened with Sara, she figured Neil was already super unlucky in love, so being on the love young love goddess' hitlist is probably the last thing he needed. Whereas Iris believed that she could be despised by all the romance deities in the universe and she'd still have game. Speaking of game, Iris went still as soon as she heard the riddle. It didn't take a genius to figure out what was to come. Sure enough, she felt her feet begin to sink into the floor. She immediately began to scour her index of nature facts bestowed by her mother, and was happy to find a rather large number dedicated to quicksand.

"Nobody panic! The worst thing you can do in this situation is panic. Now..." she looked over to Klara. "Quicksand is usually caused by water underneath the sand making it too unstable to hold weight. Love goddess, you did that stylish little water flourish a few minutes ago. Assuming this works like quicksand, if you could, like, removed the water underneath, it should go back to normal. You get me?"

THE RULES OF JUMANJI

1. You will be rolling on the Discord server, using our dice bot and typing in !roll 2d6. Be sure to tag me when you do.

2. Only one person in each pair has to roll when it is that pair's turn, first person is the one who gets it.

3. I'll then be rolling to see what outcome you get and messaging you, as well as include a paragraph for the effects. You need to include the rhyme that I will be sending you in your post, and the part that I send you will go at the end of your post and is not to be included when talking about your limits for how much you need to write.

4. There might be an instance (only one I can immediately think of) where I might bump the roll for movement on the game board to be one higher or lower, but only if it comes to that. (there are story reasons as to why this would be the case)

5. Only one pair can roll the dice per round. This is so that the game doesn't end in a few rounds and you can't speed roll for it to make it go more quickly like that. However for some it might be more of 2 or 3 rounds before someone can roll again.

Once the turn order has been decided (the first full round of game play will be determining the order) I will be including it here. And if your pairing's names are bolded, that means that it is your turn or we are currently dealing with the after effects of your turn.

 • Mary and Bethany (the Jade Monkey)
 • Ed and Annie (Metallic Elephant)
 • Elizabeth and Carolina (Obsidian Crocodile) - Lost Turn/Stuck in Game
 • Guin and Pietro (Gold Lion)
 • Lance and Neil (Crystal Serpent)
 • Iris and Mira (Keratin Rhinocerous)

Remember, the only way to win and have it end is when a game piece reaches the center of the board and the winners call out Jumanji

The Jungle
There was more then one jaguar, and despite what it was that they had done, there was still two jaguars. The one that Elizabeth had stabbed in the side was still standing somehow (who knew what it was that was keeping these animals alive) and it leapt at her, managing to bite her in the leg and latching on, knawing on her leg and causing a lot of pain to shoot through her leg (plus quite a bit of blood). The other one that was still standing charged at Carolina, but it missed entirely and skidded to a halt and whirled around, growling at her.

Location: The Hangar
Skills: Sonic Screech, Light Manipulation

"You know what?" Mira snapped at Iris as she walked right up by her, because of their height difference Mira had to look up to glare at Iris. "Since you are oh so good at actually listening to any damn thing that people say maybe it would be better if you couldn't hear, not like there would be much of a difference!" With those words, she let out a rather loud sonic screech directed right at Iris. When she stopped and was still glaring at her, Iris would find that there was an incessant ringing in her ears that wouldn't go away, and everyone else's voices would be muffled for some strange reason.

"Whoa, did you seriously have to do that?" Pietro said, and despite him hating Iris for the most part, he definitely didn't think she deserved that. Though Mira did have a slight point about Iris not listening to people anyway.

"Everyone enough, we can't keep fighting each other, Mira you shouldn't have done that at all, and Iris you at this point have been provoking people who already don't like you, so can you all just shut up and try not to kill each other anymore or annoy everyone else, since we are stuck in this little bubble that is the mansion at the moment with a million things going wrong and trying to potentially kill us."

"Not to mention we have bigger things to deal with then all of you fighting," Lance pointed out, before gesturing towards Ed and Annie, who were still sinking. He walked towards them, but stopped when the ground seemed to wobble a bit, and he created a stick out of light, poking the ground by them, which seemed to warp a bit from the touch, in about a 5 foot radius around the pair. "Well this should be somewhat interesting..."

"That's not how my powers work genius. That isn't actual quicksand, it is merely meant to act like it, the ground still has the properties of the actual floor. Meaning there is no water in it for me to pull out of it, since it is metal," Klara responded, crossing her arms a little bit, "My cousin is literally the Goddess of Lies, if you don't think I can't tell when someone is lying you clearly are mistaken," she added.

"How about less talking more trying to stop the two from sinking. Since unlike in the movie there is literally nothing below them but solid ground, so they wouldn't even fall through the ground to the floor below."

"The shield is a problem though. If it wasn't there I'd use vines to pull them out of the quicksand and off to the side, but because of the way it is I can't possibly get them out, and I wouldn't recommend anyone heading closer to them, since that might cause more people to get stuck in it, well, whatever it is you want to call it since it's not exactly quicksand, the ground is just acting like quicksand."

Carolina Reed

Location: The Jungle (inside the game)
Skills: N/A

Carolina looked over her shoulder as Elizabeth used her powers to attack the one jaguar that was targeting her, managing to get a good hit on it. When the second jaguar suddenly tried to attack her and missed pretty bad, skidding to the side of her, Carolina backed up slightly as the large cat growled at her. She normally did like animals, and always thought that big cats were always cool, but this one wanted to kill her right now. Carolina gripped her stick tightly as she thrusted her pointy metal stick directly at the jaguar, seeing it dropping dead rather easily.

"We should really hurry up." Carolina said, she really wanted to get the hell out of here as soon as possible and she certainly didnt want to be trapped in the game for a long time like Runa and Klara have been. "Hey, Runa dont you have a sling ring or something like that when we were in the House of M reality, to get us to the center of this place quicker?" Carolina asked, remembering that Runa could do that, she winced slightly as the jaguar attacked Elizabeth seeing it biting into her.

Bethany Bell

Location: Xavier's Mansion - Blackbird Hangar
Skills: Shadow Travel

Bethany watched as Ed started to roll the dice, when the floor around the two of them suddenly started to change into some kind of quicksand just as the new riddle came up. Ed quickly made a shield around himself and Annie as well, she turned to stare at both Mira and Iris. The two of them were really annoying with the constant bickering between the two of them, sure Iris was a bit annoying but Mira shouldnt have used her powers on Iris like that. "Thats a bit overkill there Mira, and kind of uncalled for." Beth said giving a slight shrug as she started to think of something.

Bethany extended her hand outwards towards both Annie and Ed, she had a feeling that it could possible work, she tried to shadow travel the two of them away from he sand and over towards her. But couldnt, and tried to do the same again, but it didnt work at all until she did it a third time. Only moving the two of them about two inches from where they were standing right now, groaning slightly as she looked at Guin and Pietro. "Piet, if you are fast enough maybe you can pull the two of them out, or Guin use your suit and fly over them and pull them out that way?"

Antoinette McCarthy

The floor continued to rise up around Antoinette and Edus, or rather, they continued to sink below it. Antoinette was trying her best not to panic but their options were limited. She tried not to move too much either, knowing that would just speed up the process from the movie she watched years and years ago. Unfortunately, Antoinette didn’t have much of a power to get them out of this. And with the shield up around them, she couldn’t create a vine or rope that could pull them out either.
She watched as Bethany tried to help them out of it, while the others stood around talking about what to do. Antoinette watched Mira scream in Iris’s ears and she winced, knowing how loud that scream could get and now what Iris must be hearing or rather, no longer hearing. Hopefully, the damage wouldn’t be permanent. Antoinette returned her attention to her partner, hoping he did have a spell to return the floor to normal, or perhaps levitate them.

Ed Penior

Location: Xavier's Mansion: Blackbird Hangar
Skills: Thamaturgy: Shield

Ed felt a little dumb for not making the shield a half-dome when he created. He had just been so worried they'd go through the floor before anyone could do anything. He kept his mouth shut about what everyone was trying to do. Focused on his shields and removed the top half. "That would have made things easier" He said. "Sorry."

Then he thought about how the shields were still sinking into the floor. "That could be a problem" He mumbled to himself. Then flattened the shields out so they were like platforms. They were still sinking but they could walk right off. "Come on Annie." Ed said walking off of the shield platform onto solid ground. That was a nice feeling. He held out his hand for Annie to grab as she walked off the shield.

"Right, that dealt with. I guess that makes it Guin and Pietro's turn. Hopefully, the game doesn't want Carolina and Elizabeth to roll."

Guin Stark

Location: the Blackbird Hangar
Skills: N/A
"Professor X can suck a dick," Guin told Beth with an eyeroll. She barely had time to process when they moved onto the next challenge, as Ed rolled the dice and the ground around him and Annie turned into quicksand. It was always a horrifying thing in movies, people grasping for anything they could get a hold on in order to escape. The wizard had made shields of sorts to try to save them, but they seemed to be ineffective at best. Guin was wondering if the solution was really to just find a giant stick or something. Her eyes widened though as something horrifying happened - Mira deafened Iris. "Mirembe! What the hell?! You can't just do that to people!" Guin scolded. "Apologize to Iris, now!"

She felt a bit like the mother of the X-Men, a role she never envisioned for herself. She shook her head, making a mental note to have one of the family doctors flown out for Iris. She walked over to the board and scooped up the dice, before letting them fall from her hand. They hit the board dramatically and she did a double take, realizing she had rolled an eight - the magic number for bringing Carolina and Elizabeth out of the Jungle. The two of them were shot out of the game almost in reverse of the way they had been sucked in. She was relieved to see that they were okay.

It twists and turns, and tears up the ground,
it swirls and twirls and swallows up towns.

A tornado appeared out of nowhere, spiraling towards them. "Fuck, what do you do for tornados besides kill the Wicked Witch?!"

Neil Spellman

Location: the Blackbird Hangar

Neil was incredibly confused as to why Iris was taking the fall for him. She could have just pointed at him and let the Love Goddess hate him. Why was she taking credit for his actions? They were friends yes, but they weren't really close. Sure, she was in the D&D group but... was that all that was needed to fall on her sword for him? He blushed slightly, sincerely hoping that Iris didn't have any romantic interest in him. The hippos were dealt with, then it was the quicksand floor which Edus easily handled, and now there was a tornado ripping through the room.

None of that mattered to him though, as Carolina and Elizabeth were back. "C-Carolina... Are you okay?" Neil asked frantically, trying to see if she was hurt or anything. He didn't know what she had been put through while trapped inside the game. He was just relieved that she was back in the same dimension as them. Having her back gave him a sense of relief but also immense courage. Everyone was back now. They were at full strength. And hopefully, they'd be done with this game soon and Loki would just forget about them and never mess with them.

Elizabeth Flame

Jungle -> Blackbird Hangar
Skills: Gun arm

Red hot searing pain is what Elizabeth felt as the jaguar latched onto her leg. Wincing in pain, she acted almost instinctively, and shakely pulled her arm, and rested it on it's head. Not thinking of the terrible ways this could end, she charged the gun, and let it go off into the jaguar's skull. Looking down as her badly bleeding leg, she was glad it was still there, while the big cat was not. Clasping her hands around it, she tried to stymie the bleeding, as she felt herself being picked up, and saw the world shift back to the X-men mansion. Taking a deep breath, she coughed a bit, before craning her neck around the room.

Looking around, she noticed Runa wasn't with them, and she cursed under her breath. She didn't like the girl much, but she didn't want her trapped in the jungle. That was a problem, but it could also be solved later. Shakily standing up, she spotted a medicine kit, and drug herself towards it, as she started tending to her wounds. "There's another girl in there." She breathed, applying some antiseptic to her leg, before wrapping it up, "An Asgardian, been trapped awhile. Something deeper is going on here." She explained, sitting her ass down, and taking a breather.

Iris Rivers

Location: Blackbird Hangar -> Hallway Outside Hangar
Skills: Pyrokinesis

Iris' eyes was pulled away from her sinking friends by her partner's voice, going off once more on the jubilant blonde girl. Iris simply watched with an amused half-grin, opening her mouth to give a witty retort when Mira stopped talking. She never got it out, though, because as soon as Mira quit ranting, a loud scream filled Iris' ears, causing her to stumble backwards, tripping over her heel and falling to the ground. With her eyes clenched tight, Iris couldn't tell exactly when the screech stopped, as halfway through it was replaced by a high-pitched ringing that overtook her sense of sound.

Eventually Iris opened her eyes to see Mira glaring down at her, mouth closed. At first she looked surprised and confused, shifting her gaze over to look at the love goddess. She must've gone bad again, turning Mira against her. That was the only explanation. But when Iris' eyes landed on her, she saw no black glow around her hands, and she didn't look hostile. So Iris' eyes flipped back to Mira, now looking up filled with only a look of betrayal as they began to water. She didn't really know much about friends. She didn't really have any growing up. The first half of her life, her more feminine nature made her subject to teasing and pushed away any potential friends, and her second half of her life, she lived alone with her mother. Even so, she knew friends bantered, right? That was one of the things she was most excited for: exchanging witticisms with someone who wasn't exactly like her like her mom was. But friends didn't attack each other. She knew that. So she continued to stare at Mira as she pushed herself back onto her feet, a look of anguish on her face. Anguish and rising anger. Her hearing came back, albeit muffled, just in time to hear Bloom.

"Yeah, well, turns out people who don't like me are just my favorite type of people," Iris tried to joke with a forced smile, her voice choking up as she did. She was so caught up in Mira's attack that she didn't have any irritation left inside her to be annoyed that Mary was chastising her, almost saying she was asking for it. She swallowed the lump that had formed in her throat, feeling a pair of tears drop down her face, sizzling into steam not long after rolling onto her bright red cheek. She reached up and wiped her eyes with her sleeve. When she pulled her arm away, her eyes went wide at what she saw: Upsilon standing threateningly behind Mira, dangerously close. "No, don't-" Iris said, raising her hand to command him to step back, only to see ribbons of smoke rising from between her fingers and a dull blue glow beneath the skin of her knuckles.

"I-I have to use the lady's room," Iris mumbled out, unable to even make out what she was saying. She quickly walked towards the closest door she saw, only pausing when Elizabeth reappeared, her leg injured. Iris opened her mouth to offer her aid, but her smoking hands were a clear reminder for her to get away from the others as soon as she could, so she continued towards the door. She slammed it shut behind her, leaning against the opposite wall as she closed her eyes, trying to get ahold of herself, breathing in and out. Usually, her breath would steady as she calmed, but this time it didn't, remaining shaky no matter how much she breathed in and out. She tried to meditate, but the high pitched ringing kept her mind from descending into a state of calm. When she opened her eyes back up, Upsilon stood mere inches from her face. She stared at him for a few seconds, continuing her shaky, inefficient breathing exercise.

"Fuck it. Fine," she finally said. As soon as she said the words, the emotional walls she used to suppress her negative emotions came crumbling down, the very same walls that kept the fire in. Her hands, clenched tight in fists, were set alight. They let out torrents of flames, filling up the hallway with a blue conflagration, which was soon the only thing that filled her vision. She could feel the exhilarating sensation of heat exiting her pores, as though her skin was covered in tiny thermal exhaust ports. She could feel something burning in her mouth, but it didn't hurt; it was refreshing. Small flames rose from the corners of her lips, but it was mostly smoke, rising and obscuring her sight, which was already blurred by the unshed tears that filled them. After what felt like minutes of this, but was really only around seven seconds, the flames died down, leaving only a metal hallway, black and scorched, with Iris in the middle breathing shakily, her light pink sleeves scorched around the wrists, smoke rising from her fists, lips, and nostrils.

"Why should I apologize to her? I tried being a little nicer about it for a while and asking her to leave me alone and she wouldn't, so what would you have preferred me to punch her in the head instead until she got the idea?" Mira snapped back at Guin. Nope, she was not sorry at all that she had screamed at Iris, "Besides, she'll be fine, it wasn't like what happened when I accidentally permanently damaged Neil's hearing, she'll have a ringing in her ears for a few hours tops."

"You shouldn't have screamed at her still, we have to deal with a million other problems and you two fighting or you trying to deafen her is not helping alright?" Their situation entirely was getting worse by the minute the longer this was going on, so arguing was not exactly something that they should be doing.

"I don't care, if it's the only way to get her to leave me alone and stop bugging me then so what?" she added, starting to sort of itch her right arm since for some reason it was bugging her, and she was feeling incredibly warm and she wasn't too sure why.

"Well how about we deal with the tornado thing, and what not unless you want Pietro to try out what they had done on literally the very first episode of the Flash when fighting Weather Wizard and he unraveled the tornado by going the opposite direction around it. Other suggestion is to just leave the room."

"I mean I could try that," Pietro commented, the tornado was fairly powerful and everyone would find themselves starting to be dragged towards it. "Guina, any idea how viable of a plan that actually would be?"

"I have no plans on having us leave my cousin there, at least not for much longer, if I got called out of the game board, odds are that Runa can be called forth that way too!" Klara said, despite the tornado seeming to grow in size, it wasn't incredibly loud so the group could still decently talk to one another without shouting. Everyone was able to stay standing for the time being, but odds were that wasn't going to last for much longer.

"...Runa?" Lance said instantly, "She's in the game too?"

Klara looked over at Lance, with her one good eye there was a glint of pink and she burst into a bunch of giggles, "Yes, my cousin who you met during the reality shifting incident," she said as she kept giggling.

"...Why are you giggling so much?"

"Oh, no reason..." she responded, still giggling.

Guin Stark

Location: the Blackbird Hangar
Skills: Problem Solving, Battle Strategy, Telepathy
"Hmm, yeah, babe, that might actually work. It's worth a shot at the very least and you can't just nuke a tornado, no matter what the Cheeto thinks," Guin said. She wasn't really a weather scientist, but the idea seemed sound enough to her - if Pietro could match the speed of the tornado and run in the opposite direction, it could disperse the twister.

"Alright Guina if you say so," Pietro responded, before he took off running racing around the opposite direction of the tornado. However, his powers weren't wanting to work quite right yet again, and he wasn't able to get up to speed. Instead what happened was he got pulled into the tornado before it spun him around and sent him flying, slamming into the wall with a rather loud thud, and leaving a giant dent in the wall before he slid down to the ground.

PIETRO?!?!?! Guin screamed into his mind, flying over towards him - literally, thanks to her armor.

Oww... came his response, but he wasn't really moving, his silver hair had a hint of red starting to creep along it, plus she could see the bone sticking out of his left leg. I think I broke something...

Don't move!!!!! Guin stressed, internally panicking. This didn't look good at all. This wasn't good at all. His head apparently had cracked open and his bone was out of his leg. She really wished that she had healing powers. She didn't know if Edus could fix this with his powers on the fritz. But someone had to be able to fix this. Pietro wasn't allowed to die here. He - he wasn't - Guin was trying to keep her breaths steady and even as the panic attack came on, with images of Muscles' battered corpse morphing into the bloody scene in front of her.

Wasn't planning on it whole body is hurting at this point...

"F.R.I.D.A.Y., f-full scan, now," Guin stammered. Her A.I. only repeated the obvious - adding on that with a potential injury to his back, they couldn't move him. He was trapped in the room with the tornado and Guin only had herself to blame. She had been the one to tell him to give it a try. She hadn't thought it all the way through. Her mask hid the tears falling from her eyes. If he died...

"Edus, I need you to heal him, now!" Guin shouted. Luckily the tornado hadn't yanked anyone in.

Neil Spellman

Location: the Blackbird Hangar
Skills: Telekinetic Combat
The twister was pulling at all of them and as annoying as he found Pietro, Neil didn't wish what had happened on him. He winced looking at the battered and broken mess of a speedster. His injuries didn't look good at all. He hoped that it wasn't enough to kill him, but at the same time, Neil knew there wasn't anything he could do to help Pietro. Instead, he tried to think of what they could do about the tornado. He was from New York - he didn't know anything about twisters or how to handle them. The speedster route was a dead end. He wished that Storm or someone was there, so they could dispel the tornado without a thought.

He bit his lip, not really knowing if this would work at well. He thought a brief word towards Tempestas, before he began to try to telekinetically rip the twister apart. He didn't really make it much smaller at first, but it was like trying to grip sand as it fell through his fingers. He got a bit of a firmer stance and tried again, this time managing to calm the air and pull the twister apart, causing the tornado to vanish. The room was safe - for now at least. "Erm, no one roll until our party member is okay."

Carolina Reed

Location: The Jungle (inside the game) -> Xavier's Mansion - Blackbird Hangar

One moment she was in the jungle with Elizabeth, and Runa the next moment Carolina was thrown out of the game itself her metal pointy stick still in hand. She looked around for a moment, seeing the familiar location the Blackbird Hangar Carolina closed her eyes for a moment and sighed in relief that she was gone. But she didnt see Runa at all, she wished that there was a way to warn her what was going to happen or any kind of warning for that matter. Carolina turned when she heard Neil's voice and couldnt help but smile happily and ran over towards him and gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"Just a little cat scratch, i'm okay." Carolina said gesturing to the makeshift bandage that she had. "We need to get back as soon as possible, Runa, someone I remember is trapped in there." Carolina said as she looked at Klara for a moment seeing that she was safe as well, and then a heavy gust of wind started to fill the entire room. Her hair blowing like mad as the tornado started to try and suck them up. Pietro quickly going with the plan, he ended up getting sucked up and then thrown across the room, wincing seeing the dent in the wall, and his injuries as well weren't good at all. Neil managing to stop the tornado completely was good and looked at him and smiled. "That was really awesome and cool Neil." Carolina said towards Neil and quickly went over to hug Annie as well, glad to see that her friend was okay.

Bethany Bell

Location: Xavier's Mansion - Blackbird Hangar

Bethany watched as Guin made her turn and rolled the dice, as soon as it happened Carolina and Elizabeth were pulled back out of the game, seeing that the two of them were injured a little bit. She wasnt sure what the two of them had encountered while in there, but the two of them were okay and thats all that mattered. A few seconds later however a tornado started to appear. She started to feel the pulling of the tornado, completely forgetting about the dumb and petty infighting between Mira and Iris. She knew that it wasnt the time or place at all for that either.

Pietro went to try and stop the tornado, only for him to get sucked in and thrown around, seeing him hitting the wall and landing on the floor in a crumbled heap. Bethany quickly went over towards Guin's side as well and knelt down next to her seeing the injuries up close now werent good at all. Bethany gently rested a hand on Guin's shoulder in a comforting way, hopefully Edus would be able to heal him without any issue.

Antoinette took Edus’s hand in relief as he managed to shift the shields into a sort of platform that they could walk across. She smiled at her partner and turned in time to watch Guin roll an eight. Shortly after, Carolina and Elizabeth came tumbling back into the room. Antoinette beamed. ”Lina! Oh thank goodness! What happened there?” She turned her attention to Elizabeth, seeing her injured and walked over. ”Do you need an extra hand?” Iris had also walked over to Elizabeth but Iris didn’t look like she was doing well either. She walked through a door and slammed it shut but before doing so, Antoinette could see the smoke rising off her hands.
As Antoinette offered to help Elizabeth, the roll Guin had made was starting to come to and a tornado formed before them. It was only there for half a minute before Pietro tried his hand at stopping it but got slammed back into the wall. Antoinette gasped, covering her mouth and listened to Guin call out for Edus to help them.
Shortly after that the tornado disappeared and Antoinette saw that Neil had saved them from it. She smiled softly at Neil, wanting to congratulate him but was waiting for Pietro. He didn’t seem to be moving and Antoinette was worried of the extent to which he was injured.

Ed Penior

Location: Xavier's Mansion: Blackbird Hangar
Skills: Sympathetic: Healing

Ed was a calm personality. He always had been cool and collected, which was a good thing for him to fall back on. There were several injured people and he didn't trust his skill at healing. If Elizabeth didn't mind he took a strand of her hair then made his way quickly to Pietro. There was plenty of him about for Ed to use as his focus. A part of him wanted to say something to Guin something like she seemed to know his name when she needed him. But Ed is a thirty-year-old not a thirteen-year-old. He kept the annoyance that was Guin pushed away.

He knelt down beside Pietro. "I shall try my best. My skill in healing was never as good as my sister's, and today seems especially difficult. I am hoping to at least keep him from suffering permanent damage." He spoke mostly to Guin, his voice was calm and collected despite giving Guin cold reality. Then looking at Pietro he said, "I prefer having permission. I think I'll have to get blanket permission from the team going forward. If you decide you didn't want me to heal you...well, I won't next time."

From there Ed starting casting. It was a good thing Neil had stopped the tornado. The spell always took some time and he was going to make sure he did it as carefully as possible. He imagined his sister's smooth movements and caring heart. That had been the true key to her power she had genuinely cared about everyone. She had been so empathetic that Edus had no hope of ever being as good as she had been, but maybe he could pretend for a moment that she was still here with him. He closed his eyes.
Roll for Ed to cast healing on Pietro and Elizabeth (provided she was okay with him trying)

Elizabeth Flame

Blackbird Hangar
Skills: N/A

Elizabeth nodded at Antoinette, saying "Thanks, yeah, here." She said, giving her a roll of bandage to hold, before wrapping her leg up some more, getting her in a much better spot. Looking over to Lance, she turned her head to the side, and said, "You know Runa? How?" She felt like she was still out of the loop on things, from learning about the alternate reality, to seeing that the team seemingly knew the Asgardian girl. It was just at this moment that Elizabeth realized Klara was there. She must've ended up here when she disappeared, which made her wonder why Loki would want all of them together like this.

It was around that time Pietro was thrown against a wall, and that took up the majority of her attention. She averted her eyes from the compound fracture, and kept herself from retching at the sight. She wanted to help, but she honestly didn't know if her powers could heal well. She knew she fixed Pietro's legs before, turning stone to flesh, but she didn't think now was the time to start experimenting with flesh sculpting. Even if she could heal with that, it felt like it would definitely be on the evil side of things. Forcing out a response, she responded to Edus, "You can heal me whenever you like, I'd for sure appreciate it."

Iris Rivers

Location: Blackbird Hangar -> Hallway Outside Hangar
Skills:

After her conflagratory breakdown, Iris let herself fall backwards, taking a seat on the floor, leaning back against the wall. The metal of both was still warm, but it didn't burn her; she'd come to learn that the heat from her fire didn't cause her pain, even it went through something else first. A hand dug into her pocket, and she pulled out a small rectangle of paper and her tiny plastic bag of weed. She sprinkled it across the paper in a line, before rolling it up into a cigarette. She'd done it so many times that it came automatically, without a single thought put into it. She took the cigarette and held it up, looking at Upsilon expectantly. He'd never lit any for her before. They calmed her down, and he preferred her riled up. But she thought perhaps that allowing herself to release the blaze she always worked so hard to keep in would be a good bonding experience for them. She thought wrong.

"Yeah, I suppose I should've seen that coming," Iris said with a sigh, instead pulling her own lighter and lighting the tip. She brought it to her lips and took a deep breath in, keeping it in her lungs for a few seconds, before letting it out. It blended with the small streams of her own smoke that continued to trickle out her nostrils. "Why am I still here? No one wants me here. Not Mira, not Pietro, not Beth. Not a fucking soul. So why am I sticking around?" Iris asked Upsilon, despite knowing that the creature wouldn't be capable of giving a comforting or even audible response. As she expected, Upsilon only turned his head down the hall. Iris followed his gaze, getting an eyeful of the long hallway scorched by her temper tantrum. She let out a dry laugh, amused, but lacking the cheerful, mischievous quality it usually held. "Right. It's fireproof."

 • Elizabeth and Carolina (Obsidian Crocodile)
 • Guin and Pietro (Gold Lion) - Someone else could roll
 • Lance and Neil (Crystal Serpent)
 • Iris and Mira (Keratin Rhinocerous)

Remember, the only way to win and have it end is when a game piece reaches the center of the board and the winners call out Jumanji

"I'm fine Guina, don't worry... Probably anyway... Yeah never doing that again," Pietro mumbled opening his eyes and looking at her, "Besides, it would take a lot more then a freaking tornado to take me out given the fact that I can create a tornado myself," he added with a bit of a smile.

"Moving him might be a bad idea... Not to mention there is all of the other stuff that got released from the game that could potentially attack us if we leave the hangar..." Mary added somewhat quietly, not too sure what to really to say to potentially make things better. This was a horrible situation, and without knowing how bad Pietro's injuries were, then things could go horribly wrong for them, even more so then they were in general.

Luckily for them, this time around Ed's powers seemed to want to work perfectly, and soon, the bone that was sticking out of Pietro's leg popped back into place, and the rest of his injuries healed entirely. His hair still had a tint of red to it because you can't easily get rid of the blood, but now he seemed perfectly fine. His attempts to heal Elizabeth however seemed to be in vain. Perhaps he only could heal people right now who were going to die without it? Who knew the answer to that one.

"...Thanks Ed," Pietro commented before he managed to get up off of the ground and looked over at Guin, "I'm fine Guina, see? Nothing to worry about."

Lance glanced over at Elizabeth when she asked him how he knew Runa, "Uh... It's a bit complicated," he said in response, but he didn't really elaborate with regards to it. Now was not the time to talk about House of M and a whole other reality, since they currently needed to deal with everything else. Like Loki and a magical board game that was trying to murder them all.

"Excuse me, Elizabeth," Klara said as she wandered over towards her and seeing her injured leg, Klara still had her injuries from when she was in the jungle (as well as the new ones from when she got out), but clearly she wasn't slowing down as she held her hand out and it surrounded itself in water which began to glow. "If I may, since his healing did not seem to aid you, perhaps mine will," she said with a smile, before she placed her hand gently over her leg, and soon, the bleeding and pain from it would cease. "My own abilities do allow me to heal others as well."

"So. whose turn is it?" Mary then asked, looking at the others seeing now that most everyone was healed in some way and wasn't in danger of dying at all.

"Mine and Neil's, but I'm not going to touch the dice since we all know what happened last turn," Lance said, shoving his hands into his pockets and heading over to a wall and leaning up against it, "Neil can roll every single time our turn comes around I don't really care."

Mira was just watching the chaos subside around her, and she was somewhat glad that everyone was alright. She was staying off by herself for the most part, given the fact that she still wasn't going to apologize at all to what she had done to Iris. The girl pissed her off to no end and she didn't accept the words no or leave me alone! It was horrible, and right now Mira's head was starting to spin just thinking about it. At least she was pretty sure that was why she was a little bit dizzy.

Guin Stark

Location: the Blackbird Hangar
Skills: N/A
Bethany's hand on her shoulder didn't feel comforting at all - mostly since Guin was in a full suit of armor so she couldn't feel the physical contact. She was too focused in on Pietro and his many injuries to even notice her friend's presence. As Edus started off talking and spatting about permission, she had to resist the urge to scream and shake him and demand that he work faster. She didn't care that he wasn't as good as his sister, that wasn't information she needed right now. All she needed was for him to do his job and heal Pietro! She clenched her fists in anger hearing Elizabeth request to be healed. Was she on death's door? No? Then she could wait!

It was a really good thing her helmet made it difficult for people to see her burst into tears as Pietro stood to his feet. She was facing him, away from everyone else, so only he could see her utter relief. Guin stepped out of her suit of armor and pulled him tightly into a hug, not caring that she was exposed to whatever danger Loki was going to send at them next. "D-don't you fucking dare scare me like that again, Pietro!"

"Guina, I didn't mean to... I'm sorry."

Guin blinked her eyes to get the tears to stop. The only problem was each time she blinked, she got a brief mental flashback to finding Muscles' battered corpse at the O.M.E.N. facility. She shuddered involuntarily and gasped a bit for air, like the wind had been knocked out of her. "You're not allowed to die, okay? It's forbidden, like dividing by zero."

"Alright alright, I get it... I don't plan on dying anytime soon."

"Good," she sniffled. She let go of him and looked at Edus for a moment. "Thanks, Battle Nurse." Annoying nickname aside, it was a heartfelt sentiment. Pietro could have died had Edus not been there. She was in his debt now.

Neil Spellman

Location: the Blackbird Hangar
Skills: N/A
Neil was still a little bit red from Carolina's kiss on the cheek. The heat seemed to be lingering there like a localized fever. He was a bit worried about her "cat scratch," as his intuition told him it probably wasn't just a little house cat that had been responsible. People were being healed and he frowned slightly, noticing that Iris still wasn't back from wherever she had gone. He really hoped that Mira hadn't permanently damaged her hearing. He had firsthand experience with how difficult it was to adjust to being deaf. His hearing aids were the only thing making up for his horrible skill at ASL.

He glared a bit at Banner for his passive aggressive comment, before scooping up the dice and he rolled. The total was a nine. The orb swirled as the mist formed letters, giving them the latest challenge in this nightmarish game that they would have to overcome:

The jungle witch is filled with strife
Be careful or you'll lose your life

"Uh..." Neil frowned slightly. He figured it had to be some sort of person appearing for them to fight - maybe the Runa person people had been mentioning? He wasn't shocked this time as the game spit out a person. She had long dark hair held up in intricate braids. She wore a ripped black dress, something that had once been elegant but had been ruined by months of use in the jungle to survive. Her eyes looked clouded over. Like she was some sort of snake charmer, she conjured up ripples of darkness and shot them towards Lance and Neil. They rushed into their throats and Neil felt like he could hardly breathe, gasping as the newcomer attempted to choke him to death. He was luckier than Lance - Lance didn't have any air in his lungs.

"You're all powerless."

Carolina Reed

Location: The Jungle (inside the game) -> Xavier's Mansion - Blackbird Hangar
Skills: N/A

Carolina looked over towards Annie and smiled slightly she was glad to see her best friend again. "We had a few encounters with Jaguars that didnt seem to want to really die." Carolina answered rubbing her arm slightly, it hurt a little bit but the bandage seemed to be holding up for now. She eyed Neil and Lance for a moment as Lance made his comment about the dice rolling, which made her wonder what had happened while she was gone. "Did something happen?" Carolina asked Neil as he started to take the dice in his hands and started to make his roll.

Carolina watched as Klara started to heal up Elizabeth as well as Edus healing Pietro, seeing that the two of them were okay now was also a relief as well. Her attention quickly turned towards the gameboard now, and then a familiar face came out of the board now as well to, Carolina saw that Runa was okay and safe now. But it looked like she wasnt herself at all as she suddenly started to attack both Lance and Neil, both of them being choked by her. "Runa, stop it's not you!" Carolina yelled hoping to get her to snap out of whatever spell Loki had on her.

Bethany Bell

Location: Xavier's Mansion - Blackbird Hangar
Skills: Shadow Manipulation

Bethany took a few steps back letting Edus go ahead and do his thing as he started to heal Pietro without any issue at all, and a few seconds later he was back up on his feet again. She watched as Neil rolled the dice and a few seconds later someone emerged, who Bethany assumed was the Runa person that the others had mentioned. Seeing her wearing some gothic like clothes, she preferred black a lot of the time as well. Runa quickly started to attack both Lance and Neil seeing that some shadowy like tendrils starting to attack the two of them trying to choke the two of them by the looks of it.

"You know the whole shadowy goth thing is kind of my thing right?" Bethany said as she extended her hand out and then used the shadows around Runa and threw her as hard as she could across the room, hearing Runa slamming against the nearby wall and denting it slightly as well. "So, anyway to break the spell or whatever?" Bethany asked looking over at Klara.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Blackbird Hanger
Skills:

Antoinette returned her attention to Elizabeth, holding the bandage and making sure it was nice and tight for her. They managed to get the bleeding under control and that was better than what she was previously. When Edus had finished healing Pietro, thankfully it was a full recovery, he came over to the girls and tried to help Elizabeth. Antoinette held the girls hand while Edus worked but he didn’t have much luck. However, Klara quickly came over and offered her assistance. Antoniette watched her work her power with water in amazement. Klara seemed pleased that it had worked but Antoinette couldn’t tell. ”Thank you Klara, that was wonderful of you,” she commented before looking at Elizabeth. ”How are you feeling?”
It was time for the next roll and Antoinette wasn’t really focused until another person entered the room and Antoinette recognized her to be Runa, Lance’s love interest in the other reality. Antoinette had gotten over her small crush on Lance before then but she didn’t get over the fact that Runa was now attacking him. She stood up, ready to try her fireworks on the witch when Bethany stepped in and threw the woman across the way. Antoinette felt herself grinning but stopped immediately. That was still a person and Lance cared for her. Klara too.
Antoinette quickly covered her indiscretion to look for Iris who had yet to return. With Runa perhaps better, Antoinette hurried to the door Iris had gone to and tried to open it; however, it was far too hot to get open. Antoinette banged on it a couple quick times. ”Iris! Are you okay?” Antoinette stayed by the door, hoping for Iris to come back but she turned around so she could watch Runa and see if what Bethany had done worked or if she was still coming after them.

Ed Penior

Location: Xavier's Mansion: Blackbird Hangar
Skills:

Relief filled Ed when Pietro stood up. He was still concerned. He didn't know if there was internal damage that maybe his healing missed. He felt tired. Almost bone-weary tired. He had lost count of how many times he had healed people in the last half hour or hour. God, how long had they been playing this game? He looked up at Guin and gave her a slight nod. "Yeah, of course." He gave a slight wave as if to brush away her thanks. It felt good, though. Knowing that she had needed him, maybe she'd be a bit kinder to him going forward, and Battle Nurse was not the worst nickname she had given him.

He looked over and saw that he had done nothing for Elizabeth, but Klara had it underhand. That was good. There was someone else in the group who could heal for now. He could at least rest. But that thought didn't get to last long. Runa, apparently, had appeared from the game, and now she was trying to kill the group. He could try to break the spell as he had with Klara. He wanted a cigarette really badly, and a cup of coffee. "Get me a strand of her hair, and I can try what I did with Klara." He offered. Though he still wasn't a hundred percent certain, the break on the spell would keep on Klara. It had felt weak to him.
