@Shifter_Master She kind of doesn't. Mariette's always been a loner. She considers Deni and Eli extensions of her own will, and will depend on them for everything, yes, but anyone else? Even Violet and Sakura, her new friends through various circumstances, are not people she naturally thinks to involve in her own business. "Friends, not allies" is slightly what she's thinking. If anything, she might actually be afraid she'll get them hurt, too, for involving them.

... But that's just what I'm currently thinking that her mindset would be. If that's not as fun because it'd prevent the Djinn Sisters from getting involved... ... ... Heh. I can have Eli show up to talk to them, if Mariette ever lets her off on her own. Hah.

Fair point but Violet might end up learning of her own volition that something has happened. All it takes is a stray though of wondering where Deni is and not getting a response from Absolute direction might have her tracking down Mariette or Eli to get answers.

Granted Cafar might not let Violet do alot considering his stance on neutrality.

Oh, right, yeah. Absolute Direction would be able to give that kind of reply, wouldn't it? But, then I do wonder where Absolute Direction points when they're hanging out in the interdimensional apartment. Then again, they always reappear after a while, even when they've been in there. If they check the locations often enough with Absolute Direction, it would be clear something's off. Unless the response for being in the apartment/dead are completely different, of course. Then it's obvious immediately.

As for the second part... heh... Is that a problem? Maybe she WANTS to do something, and decided to do something anyway? ... Haha. Might be a bad idea. But still.

Oh Violet will almost assuredly rebel if Cafar tells her no, it might have been caused by Magic but Violet regards her friends highly. She wouldn't be able to let Deni's death go with out a response, preferably a painful one.
