"Communications are down anyone in the area, civilian or not, will not be able to use cell phone, or other non land line based communication until we're done. Intuition dictates that there are likely groups of people stuck together. We need to pick out any singular individuals first Batwoman. It eliminates any sort of surprise elements that these people may have. I have done my part is there anything else that you want me to hack through? If you find me a computer with some files on it I may be able to make copies of them for Batman. Other than that the only remaining thing to do is search and destroy," Damocles told her.

“Good,” Batwoman mumbled automatically. Then stopped and thought about it, before turning to him. “That was signifyingly faster than I anticipated. Impressive, really." She followed up with a hand gesture towards the burning building. "When the first creep leave that building, that's our moment to spring the trap. Until then all we can do is wait. And trust me I know: Sometimes the hardest thing to do, is to do nothing. Especially when things are either gonna get ugly or worse.”

Only now did she notice that Damocles was slightly taller than her. His back strait and posture strong. Somehow that mattered, as they stood out there next to each other. Of course, she knew he was not to be trusted, yet there was an honesty to the way he spoke. And for now he had acted perfectly for the job at hand. She wish she could say the same.
Batwoman beheld the chaos unfold in front of her. The gunshots echoing through the night. The fire consuming the factory, leaving nothing but burning rubble in its wake. It was all a mess and she knew what the newspapers would say tomorrow: “We wish a meta-human had dealt with it.” But editors and journalists hadn’t seen what she had witnessed in the heart of countless explosions. And her opinion on the matter was clear…

---------------------------------------------------
6 days earlier…
She had no armor on this night. She was not Batwoman, but Kate Kane, former decorated soldier.
Kate found her lover on the balcony. The woman was not really doing anything, just sipping a glass of wine and looking at the sky. Renee Montoya looked perfect standing like that. Embodying both strength and grace even in her nightgown. Her muscles relaxed, as Kate put her hands around her, this time gently, as Renee had gotten more than enough bruises from their last sparring session.

“In the grand scheme of things, do you think it makes a difference?”

“What?” Kate asked after kissing her neck.

“Us… us out there on the street, fighting crime. Me by day, you by night. Do you think our efforts makes any kind of difference? I mean … there’s meta-humans who can punch strait through buildings, run at the speed of light, fly across galaxies. With these gods among men, what can humans like us really accomplice?”

“Everything.” There was neither been hesitation nor doubt in Kate’s answer. “We make all the difference. Make no mistake, when the real threat emerges it’s not gonna be in the form of a big monster. Some of the most dangerous individuals on the planet are human. When things go bad, like really bad, those so-called gods are gonna drop from the sky like rain. The fighting will be at street level, and it will be people like you and me whom decide the outcome. Not gods, not meta-human. For their heads will forever be in the clouds right up until the moment it’s too late.” A part of Kate realized she had shared too much of the darkness inside, so she added one last thing: “But it’s not all bad. In Gotham, there’s a man who might already acknowledges these facts. Who knows, perhaps he has even prepared for them.”

"Surprisingly more easy than you think. Everything in the world is going through a bunch of signals, and devices. Simply sending the wrong signal out to screw with the hub, or just to haze the collective. You can buy less effective stuff on the internet. I had to design my equipment by hand using all sorts of illegal equipment. It's all worth it. If your target can't scream for help their chances of survival decrease dramatically. Just because I'm not trying to kill people here doesn't mean that the same methods don't apply." commented Damocles as he stared at the entry point. He felt vaguely aware of Batwoman eyeing him maybe it was because she was being aided by a cold blooded hitman. Maybe it was because Batman couldn't catch him before and had to hire him through the crime net. He didn't really care all that mattered was the job getting done, and him getting paid. His employers could think he was a walking piece of shit for all he cared. "I hope you're not expecting me to go in swinging like a mad man. If you really want me to help you I'll use a gun. I'll try to aim for non lethal shots but that's never guaranteed. I'm not a blunt force type of man. Never have been if there's a problem there's likely always multiple options that can be used to solve the equation so to speak. Why go through the trouble of a long problem when you can take an easier method to it to get the same results?" Damocles said calmly in a rhetoric answer as he adjusted his hat slightly. He always looked like the weirdo out of place but he didn't really care about that. People could think he was some fedora wearing shut in all they want. No one talked shit with a gun in their face.

Wraith floated down in front of the old, skeletal building that silhouetted itself against the dark Gotham sky. The fallen sign out front read "Rhymer Manufacturing", but this place hadn't been manufacturing anything but trouble recently. The front entryway was collapsed, and the building itself looked far past condemned. Wraith approached it silently, looking around the empty, cracked up parking lot for a bit before the roar of a motorcycle drew near. He watched as his back up, a man he didn't really know too well, pulled up and dismounted his vehicle eagerly. The man, Nuke, was dressed very brightly. There was nothing stealthy about him at all; Ka'van just hoped he could make up for that.

The cloaked figure turned his burning red eyes back towards the darkened building. He had little trouble seeing in the dark, but he worried for his human counterpart. Should he step wrong, he could easily fall through the floor.

"I am not sure," Wraith said, his voice soft, but clear enough to be heard over the typical sounds of the city night. He moved towards the building, his movement smooth. He almost seemed to glide. "Be careful of the floor," He said as he levitated himself up over the fallen debris and drifted inside. Once engulfed in the darkness, his form seemed to almost completely disappear. The only thing visible were the two floating, bright red orbs of his eyes.

Ka'van lowered himself to the ground once he found a more sturdy looking level. The manufacturing plant had been closed for quite some time, and the air inside was stale and old. On the dusty floor, however, he could see recent tracks. They led to what looked like a large scuffle in the middle of an open space. There was some rotten, damaged wood laying around, as if the fight that occurred here had included it somehow. Ka'van lifted himself up off the ground as he investigated the scene, so as to not taint it with more footprints. He looked down at a fresh trail that led off into a dark corridor and began to follow it.

"It looks like there was a fight here," He said aloud, although he figured his comrade would have gathered this by now. "Perhaps this was where one of Batman's children were led before their demise."

The hall that Ka'van glided down opened up into another room, which was filled with crates labeled "juice". Out of curiosity, he phased his hand into one and pulled out, well, juice. It was apple juice. "Part of a decoy, maybe?" He said softly, mostly to himself. He set the jug down and turned to keep searching. Dark spots on the floor caught his eye. Blood? "Nuke," He said, beckoning his companion to come give him a second opinion. "Perhaps we should take a sample of that blood off the floor, to see if it belongs to one of the sidekicks." That would certainly confirm if they were here or not. Maybe this scene could give them a clue as to what happened before they were killed, and where Batgirl was taken.

Guardian wasn't to thrilled with the answer Batwoman gave but, he was game for a good ole bone crushing knock-down, drag-out fight. He decided now was as a good of time as ever to test out the Guardian/Venom combo. He pressed a button and disengaged the armor, which fell to the ground. He slapped on half a venom patch, he may be a guinea pig but he wasn't stupid.

He felt the surge of adrenaline and strength. "AHHHHHHHHH!" He screamed at full volume. He dropped from his position and went toe to toe with the tank goon. He went full bore on the tank good right away. He didn't hold back like he was forced to do so much of the time, this tank could take it and if he couldn't, sucks for him. Guardian broke both of the tank's arms and severely damaged possibly shattered his knees. With nothing but puny goons in the room he ran at them screaming, they ran from the screaming in terror and pissing themselves. In the next room he grabbed a guy aiming a rocket launcher at him and threw him across the room. The goon flying in the air fired a rocket that went out a window and towards the building currently occupied by Batwoman and Damocles.

One of the goons cowering in the corner, was screaming into his cellphone for help in dealing with the crazed naked black man tearing up the place but he wasn't aware that his phone wasn't working. The rest of the goons in that room fled out the front door.

"That fucking idiot! MOVE!" Damocles roared as he booked it down to the hallway seeing the rocket hurtling towards them. He wasn't getting paid enough to have rockets shot at him like a god damn super villain. He certainly wasn't nearly as tough as them either. As thoughts rushed to his head about possible outcomes he knew none of them were good. At worse he'd die and that'd be the end of it because some god damn stupid rookie didn't know how to properly handle a situation. Figures he wouldn't be the one to fuck up and get killed because of it. He didn't bother grabbing, or trying to push Batwoman if she was as good as Batman figured she was she'd be ok and he'd only get in the way. He tried his best to find the closest staircase, or piece of solid cover to shove himself behind in order to escape the blast as best he could.

Thankfully Kaze didn't have to wait very long. The truck wasn't particularly big and they had already filled a good portion of it before he arrived. One of the mooks looked under the truck, eying the leaf springs. "This load seems heavier than normal." He muttered to himself, unaware of the added few hundred pounds of monster on top of the vehicle. The group got in their vehicle and drove off at an unsurprisingly normal pace. Why take off like a maniac and draw attention to yourself?

The wind whipped the draconic beings face as they went along. His eyes darting this way and that, taking in the landmarks he could find of Gotham. He honestly had no memories from before the experiments which was why he considered the man in the file dead and gone. So he didn't know exactly where he was. But he could certainly find it again. But it seemed the truck was heading to one of the harbors considering they stayed along the coast of the island city away from the main land.

Even from a distance and despite it being night he could see the smoke billowing off in the distance away from the destination he was heading to. Something bad always seemed to happen in this city. Maybe if the criminals were actually killed. But police are to humane. He thought while the truck slowed to a stop in front of one of the warehouses at the pier. Once the two started to exit the truck is when he started to move. Rolling off one side he landed in front of the normal one and grabbed him by the face before he could utter a sound. A slap from the other hand knocked him out, a sound that was masked by the closing door on the opposite side of the truck.

Crouching low Kaze went around the front in a surprisingly fluid movement while the Venomed up mook headed for the back of the full truck. The stench of Venom made his nose wrinkle unhappily but he had to get close. Skulking up behind the hulking man he grabbed him by the back of his head, startling the brute and making him yell, before slamming him face first into the asphalt. Embedding his head completely into the ground. A satisfied snort as the hulking body went limp he tugged him out, and gave him a resounding smack just for good measure. He knew how much force was needed to knock out a venomed up human. He had been forced to fight them during the experiment and he doubted Batman wanted him to go and kill all of Bane's crew.

"Although that would simplify things..." He muttered to himself as he shifted suddenly. Moving to the warehouse doors his ears perked up. He could hear footsteps on the other side, and a person breathing just to the side of the door. To go in loud, or sneak in via skylights. He'd have to think for a moment since it was just him here and he couldn't call for back-up.

Xane couldn't believe his luck. He was literally having an internal debate with himself as to wether he was in a coma or not at the moment. In the span of less than a year he had managed to get kicked out of college, get cut off by his parents, move at superhuman speeds while working for some techie criminals, fight and get beaten by a member of the bat family, get put in jail only to be taken back out by THE Batman and given some superhuman drug called velocity 9. Even now while the world seemingly played out in slow motion around Xane things seemed to be moving to fast for him. He regretted his decisions, jail-time at Blackgate will do that to a person, but he couldn't help but be happy about his current situation as he was given a chance to redeem himself in the eyes of the public who all knew well who he was thanks to his capture by the police and the old blonde haired Batgirl.

Suddenly Xane realized that most of the group had left while he was deep in thought. With a surprised raise of his eye-brows Xane sped off to do the last thing that he heard from the Batman which was to go pound the pavement looking for Venom pushers. Xane had heard about some of the jocks at Gotham U using small venom patches which were normally called "slappers" by those who knew about it. Given that all Xane really knew about drug distribution came from either Batman's Velocity 9 supply, TV shows or Gotham University, Bolt decided that checking out the university would be a good place to start his investigation.

With a loud crack Xane took off running towards the University via his drug-induced super-speed. Velocity 9 was nothing like the suit Xane used to use for his high speed hijinks. With the suit he had to memorize routes and how long each leg took since he could run fast but still thought at the same speed. With Velocity 9 it was like the world around him crept along at a snail's pace and he could simply walk or run around people with nearly no reaction from them unless he stood around for too long. It was more than satisfying his need for speed.

Eventually Xane got to Gotham U where he saw nothing out of the ordinary going on. Since this was the only place he knew of the Venom drug being pushed he decided to stake the place out and wait for someone to come along. After about an hour in hyper-speed Xane realized how stupid his plan was as if anyone saw him then they likely wouldn't do any sort of drug deal in front of him. Xane got ready to take off to another vantage point when suddenly he noticed two tree trunks of arms wrapping around him. Xane managed to quickly duck out of his would be assailant's grasp to see one roided up venom junkie with a look of pure rage on his face and a student wearing a varsity jacket running off with a bag of patches. Xane counted his blessing and proceeded to sprint over to the student, taking the bag and delivering a decently slow blow to his stomach which would hopefully know the wind out of the kid. Xane then proceeded to spring into action and tear off the patches that adorned his would be attacker and stick them in the bag. Xane smiled as the fun part was about to start.

The night was a cold one but not uncharacteristically cold for Gotham this time of year. Rob leaned against a wall near Gotham University as he waited for his clientele to arrive. He was set up with one patch for himself should any of the bat-freaks show up, three for one customer and another three for another customer. Rob hoped that his clients wouldn't be late tonight so he could get home and check up on his son before needing to go out in a few hours to his job as the Wayne production line. He appreciated Wayne keeping some of his product production in country but it didn't pay nearly enough to support a single father and his son.

Eventually his first sell of the night showed up. The two didn't exchange any words at first, only some money and a bag of slappers. Suddenly the kid's eyes went wide and he took off. Rob looked to see a dark-clad figure cloaked by the darkness just across the walkway that Rob had situated himself against. Rob's eyes went wide too as he couldn't go to jail, not with him being the only one looking out for Will and he did not want little Will going into foster care, Rob knew how bad that could be. With out so much as a moment's hesitation Rob dug his hand into what would have been his second client's product and produced the three patches plus his own. Slapping the four venom infused patches on his arm, Rob rushed the vigilante with the intent of making sure his son wouldn't have to grow up without his father.

In a second the 'fight' was over. The jacked up Bane goon was no match for Xane's speed and was taken down with a small amount of effort. Xane's own superhuman drug was beginning to wear off which made it the perfect time to begin his interrogation.

"Now, where's Bane bee-"

"I don't know where! I'm just a pusher! I don't know anything about the higher ups! I get my supply from a warehouse not to far from here! Please don't send me to jail I have a son!" Rob pleaded in the hopes of preserving his flawed but functional family dynamic.

Xane was surprised by the thug's response and despite it's hasty nature, Xane felt for the man. He was in almost the same situation at the brute was minus the fine details of course. He looked at the beaten man for a good minute before responding.

"You don't tell anyone I let you go. Not even your son assuming you actually have one. If I hear a rumour going around that I'm not doing my job then I'll know who snitched and I can assure you you'll be going to jail with more than a few bruises." Xane said with as intimidating of a tone that he could muster before quickly cutting the brute's arm with a batarang and placing it on the ground.

"You can tell your brute friends Batman got you." and with that Xane walked back into the shadow of the night and out of Rob's sight.

Within the confides of the shadow Xane quickly injected himself with another dose of Velocity 9 before withdrawal symptoms began to rear their ugly head and he took off to the warehouse indicated by the brute.

Xane was greeted by what looked like some sort of lovecraftian horror painting mixed with a warzone. There was an enormous bonfire in the middle of the ware house made up of venom shipments (which Xane immediately added to with his own, much smaller venom supply that he had gotten earlier) along with goons running off in every direction while a massive, flaming junkie fought the Guardian guy who seemed to be using half a patch to even the odds. It was all so surreal until Xane happened to glance up and see a rocket flying up towards some of the other Team Batman members. Xane acted quickly as he ran around to see the rocket move in slow motion. He knew he wouldn't be quick enough to get in the building and up all the stairs before the rocket blew the others into smithereens so he would have to try something new.

He'd seen videos of the flash and all sorts of speedsters do it before. Running up a wall was like second nature to speedsters right? Xane quickly found out it wasn't as easy as he got about two feet up and fell backwards and back towards the ground. The rocket was seconds from impact now and the only one fast enough to stop it was stuck four stories down. Xane didn't want his first night out as a her- no. He wan't a hero. Not yet. Xane looked at the faces of his allies then back to the wall and sprinted forwards once more. He ran and as soon as his foot hit the wall he closed his eyes, refusing to open them until he either felt the heat of the explosion or the his foot come into contact with the air above the wall.

After what seemed like an eternity Xane opened his eyes to see himself falling once more but this time he was within arms reach of the ledge. Quickly he shot his arm from his side and gripped the ledge with all of his might. The rocket had hit by this point but there was still time enough time to do something. Xane pulled himself up and quickly sped over to Damocles and tossed him over the far side of the building. At a break-neck pace Xane managed to grab Batwoman and toss her over the ledge as well. Without Damolces' shove Xane doubted he would have had enough time to get to Batwoman and Damolces without one of them getting burned.

Xane then managed to slip in the building just as his dosage of Velocity 9 began to wear off. As this happened Xane came to the sudden realization that he assumed both Batwoman and Damolces has grappling hook like Batman but he never actually checked. Xane quickly rushed down the stairs of the building as time began to move at a normal speed around him but he knew that if they didn't have grappling hooks it would be too late.

Guardian grabbed a guy running for his life. "You look like you're in..correction we're in charge of this little rinky dink operation. Give me what I want and I won't rip you limb from limb." He punctuated his sentence by starting to pull on the poor guy's arms. The guy resisted at first even after his arms were pulled out of the socket. Then he could feel the flesh start to tear. "Fine!." Guardian stopped. "Tell me where Bane would keep prisoners. My boss wants to know, believe me you don't want to piss her off. She makes Batman look like a cute little puppy in comparison." The guy started blubbering like a child. "So you know absolutely nothing about prisoners then. Just be a man and say so don't cry like a baby." He went to contact over watch then he remembered he left the suit in the other room. "Get out and go to a hospital, the cops will be looking for you there. If they don't find you there, I'll come back and finish the job." The blubbering goon made some kind of noise that sounded like an affirmative. Guardian went back for his suit after he ripped down some kind of cloth thing and wrapped it around himself. Once in the room with his suit he picked it up and left. Holding it close to his face, he contacted his over watch. "OW expect a more formal report on Venom and Guardian combo later but for now it's amazing. I know the geeks in the lab are going to want a blood sample but I can't really fit in the suit or the car until it wears off." He leaves the building just as the fire reaches a stash of explosives. "Damn, OW why didn't you tell me there was explosives in there? I would have been more careful with the rocket launcher fool and wouldn't have set the place on fire."

As if fate itself wanted to test their mettle, a rocket spontaneously fired out the window.
"That fucking idiot! MOVE!" Damocles roared at her, which in a millisecond confirmed to her that he was aware and need no help.
In a fluid movement she reach in, took the grappling hook and fired it at the next roof. But while she was swirling through the air, it happened: the rocket changed direction to the exact location she was heading. Not just a rocket, but a ficking homing missile.

Think, think, think! She thought to herself.

Batwoman had only the smallest of moments, when she reached her destination, and as the missile caught up with her, she used every ounce of strength to move to the side.
The rest happened in slow-motion. The thing flew right next to her face, past her and exploded a few meters behind her. The orange bubble of fire and death burned brighter than any human eye could endure. Then came the shockwave that hit her like a moving train. Before she could blink the massive force lifted her up into the air. And only now did she feel the unbearable heat reach her in a painful embrace.

Suddenly a dark figure rushed in, as if gravity and time did not exist to him. When she finally got the time to blink, they were both standing further down the roof, hearing the sound of the explosion still happening. Both were they breathing and in one piece. Batwoman stumbled, but found her footing and a new breath of air. She only needed a second to figure out what had just happened.
The speedster, Xane, was not exactly a model citizen and yet…
“Thanks," she sighed.

In that moment, the doors of the factory opened and out poured a swarm of people.

“Black Mask’s men are retreating. The sheep trying to escape the wolves, just as expected."
There was a certain satisfaction in watching something finally go as planned. A small army, that Bane would now never own, flooded into the nearby streets. However, as the cowards reached the pavement something happened: Another rocket flew up from the crowd and hit a parked car that turned into a ball of flames.

What? Why would …
And then it hit her. Bane's men were hiding amongst the fleeing crowd. This was how his lieutenant planned to escape: Have his men mingle with Black Mask’s and have them cause as much chaos as possibly. A simple yet effective trick in battle.

Batwoman grabbed Xane by the shoulder to emphasize the danger of the situation. “You see those in black clothing? Slightly military-types? They are not with the rest, who are simply trying to flee. They are there to cause havoc and to distract us from Bane’s lieutenant. This distraction is about to cost a lot of innocent lives. Don’t let them.”

A hollow sound of an engine starting came from the factory.

“Go!” Batwoman shouted and shot out her grappling hook just as a monster truck busted through the backdoor and drove out into the night. It was the lieutenant, Trogg, she had been waiting for. She swung down, just barely slammed into the roof of the car, and the fight was on…

"Good idea." He said to Wraith in a cautious voice. He slowly crept into the building. "We should take a sample of the 'juice' as well, to see if there are any other locations housing it." He walked over to the containers and looked around them. Nothing seemed too out of the ordinary. Except for the destruction. There was definitely a member of the Bat family that fought here. He guessed that who it was didn't matter much. "Is there anything on the upper levels? I'll check the lower if I find any."

Wraith looked up to the second and third floors. There were various holes in the roof and floor that allowed him to see clear out into the night sky. He drifted up through one of said holes and began to look around some more. Nothing else seemed amiss aside from the various indications of a fight.

Wraith flew through the third level, then landed himself on the roof. He could see out over the slums of Gotham. All seemed quiet, aside from two approaching vans. Ka'van watched them until they pulled into the Rhymer parking lot. Large, roided up men began to pile out. At that, the shadowy figure flew back inside and hurried to find Nuke.

"I don't mean to cut out investigation short, but I think we may have visitors. Approximately six of them. Probably some friends of Bane."

His feet touched down silently beside the brightly dressed man, just as the doors upstairs burst open. The floorboards began to creak in protest under the goons' weight. Ka'van turned his red eyes upwards, watching the heavy boots shuffle just one floor above him.

"I'll run a distraction," He said. With that, he flew straight up through the floor, his body phasing through the old boards like smoke. There was a shout, then multiple gunfire. The men yelled in frustration as their bullets went right through Wraith without causing any harm. Then, the ghoulish hero reached out one arm, using his telekinesis to lift one of the heavy men into the air. That didn't make for a very happy goon.

"Finally, some action." He said as he jumped behind a column. "Draw them in here, I can't get close enough with this gunfire." He said as he began charging the center piece on his chest, as well as gathering energy around his body. "Lock them in here, then we can take them out. We don't need anyone knowing that we're here."

The monster truck gave clarity to its name, as it roared down the streets like nothing else in the world. Every metallic sound meant a new car was either being squashed or torn to piece under its massive, moving wheels.
Had it not been for Batwoman swiftly burying her grappling hook into the roof, she would have been thrown off immediately.
The moment the car turned right, it started turning a parking lot into a scrapyard.
She tightened her grip and grinned her teeth as sparks and metal sprayed up into the air. She wrapped the steel wire from the grappling hook around her forearm and let go with the other. With all the strength, she could muster, she held on with just one hand and armed herself with the other.

Tumbling around on the roof would get her killed and the driver knew it. He could just act like a drunken daredevil and wait for her to fall or get knocked off his armored roof.

In a combination of will and skill Batwoman managed to force herself up to an upright position, take a step forward and unload a few bullets into his windshield.
Success! The car started to swerve, as the cracks in the glass had to make it difficult for the lieutenant to see much of anything.
Then a giant hand shattered the windshield, once again clearing the view.

Dammit!
Cursing under her breath, Batwoman aimed at one of the tires and emptied her clip into it, only to have the bullets bounce right back at her.
Another quick turn made her swing around like a rag-doll, and while struggling to hold on, she noticed the monster truck was coming up to a highly populate road. She would have to do something, or it would be a slaughter. But there was no getting into the car, not when holding on took this much balance and strength. There was no puncturing the tires or firing through the roof. Every big surface was reinforced with some kind of titanium alloy. Even the hook, she had attached, fought to stay in place, as it had not been able to pierce the car properly.

“I am the one who traveled to the end of the world!” Batwoman started to yell out, while using her free hand to eject the mag of her pistol.
“I am the heart of war!” She slid a new one in though the car did everything but offer a steady environment to do so.
“I am the one who survived!” She rolled to the side of the truck and aimed down once again.
“I am Batwoman!” she screamed out and fired every single bullet into the visible sway bar between wheel and chassis.

Roaring like a monster in pain, the car and right wheel separated. What followed was the Armageddon of car-crashes.

Wraith flew through the floor again, back to the lower level. The goons were quick to follow him down the stairs. He still had the one man trapped inside of his telekinetic grip. It seemed like phasing through solid objects didn't sit so well with the human.

"I have a sneaking suspicion that if we lock them in here, these walls won't hold them long," Wraith said upon his arrival. It was true, the rickety boards surrounding them hardly looked fit to stand up to a normal human. Let alone one of these guys. His glanced back at the man he had imprisoned, who had taken to struggling and shouting explicits at them.

"How far do you think I could throw this gentlemen before it fatally injured him," Ka'van asked, wanting to get rid of the goon without actually killing him. The aura the man gave off wasn't one of a totally evil being, and the Bat had been specific about not killing anyone other than Bane. Ka'van had tossed human criminals around before, but his interactions with Vemon pumped fiends was fairly limited. He didn't know the limits of their durability.

"I won't need too long." He said with as he launched from behind the coloumn. He dashed towards the group and dispersed the energy in a flury of punches into the different men, sending them flying through the walls and one guy flew up to the second floor. But that didn't keep the venom fueled beasts down. "STAY DOWN." He yelled as he continued to beat on them, having too much fun. After a minute of beating on them, he walked away with a menacing smile under his helmet. "Now, that's why I agreed to this job." He said, stopping next to Wraith.

Kaze only thought of the way to proceed for all of thirty seconds before a frightening grin washed over his hidden face. Why not do both... He thought before looking around. There was the typical debris on the ground, trash and bits and pieces of junk. An old aluminum hubcab caught his eye, snatching it up he looked up at the wires. With a flick of his wrist the disc of metal flew up and zipped through the lines, shutting the power down in the warehouse. The wires sparked on the pavement, melting it as it dragged along the ground. His tail coiled around a soda can before crushing it and wedging it under the door, a makeshift lock that the normal human couldn't force.

The panic within the building from the lack of any power made him chuckle quietly. Scurrying feet, the hurried clicks of flashlights, and yells to make sure everyone was still there. They were questioning if Batman was in the area. The behemoth shook his head as he forcefully sealed the loading hatch with chains lingering on either side of it. At most they'd get a couple inches up but no more. His ears flicked at the footsteps on the other side of the building, the secondary loading hatch that would have led to a ship. That same odd fluid movement and he was blurring around the building, his enormous stride chewing up the distance.

They were already getting the bay to open once he arrived. A quick slap of his palm sent the door sliding back into its closed home. This of course scared the people silly, and also pissed off a few of the more volatile ones. The sounds of slapping gave him the inkling that they had just patched up. "Poor humans...needing drugs to contend..." He murmured, his unnaturally deep voice carrying easily. The door got dented from numerous punches of Venomed up junkies.

Once the doors were blasted open the un-venomed crew opened fire with pistols. The small caliber bullets pinged off the cloaked beings body, ricocheting back into the warehouse. "What the hell is it wearing to do that?!" One of them hollered while they emptied their clips into Kaze. More damage was done to his cloak than to him. "Not a damn thing..." He growled as the Venomed thugs charged. A disorganized charge which the giant easily read. Snorting he met the first man, drawing his fist back for a hay-maker, with a simple shoulder to his sternum. The muscle-bound venom user was sent tumbling back with a loud crack as his ribs snapped.

The others were to juiced up to really pay attention. Only three of them were left, the fourth laying on the ground trying to learn how to breath again. One of them lunged low while the other swung high, the pair seemingly coordinating this time. The reptilian man dug his claws into the ground, anchoring himself and stopping the lunge dead. His hands were moving, slapping aside the wild punch before a resounding smack to the mans head sent him bonelessly to the ground. Only the whites of his eyes showing thanks to being knocked unconscious.

"If you had been Bane himself I might have had to worry...but you're all small fries." He rumbled as the normal humans started to inch towards the edge of the building. Lifting up the Venomed man that still had a hold of his waist, acting as if he were a child latching onto his leg, and hurling him bodily into the cluster of gang members. One person was still unaccounted for, the final Venom user. This one had wised up and cracked Kaze across the back of his head with a heavy metal pipe.

His head snapped down from the force of the blow and his eyes narrowed. Slowly lifting his head back up he let out a roar of anger. Something that sounded completely prehistoric and animalistic. Whipping around he caught the pipe mid-swing and gave the Venom user a powerful uppercut into his chin. Snapping his head back and shattering his jaw while sending some teeth flying out of his face. While the man was in mid-air, and his hold on the pipe loose, he used the hunk of metal to hammer him back into the unforgiving asphalt.

Snarling and snapping his teeth he tossed aside the pipe before stomping his way to the pigpile of minions. Each step made the tar beneath him crack and crumble, such was his anger at getting hit hard enough to actually hurt. His crimson eyes glowed within the confines of his hood as he glared down at the struggling and arguing people. "Where is Bane or his hostage." He growled, some smoke trickling from the darkness of his hood.

"W-we don't know! We're just middlemen! Flunkies!" One of them yelled, terrified of the giant in front of him. Kaze leaned down and sniffed loudly, each exhale had an acrid stench to it that no one could really place but smelled vaguely familiar. "You're not lying...Are there any bases near here?" He questioned, cooling himself down so he didn't butcher the whole lot of them.

"N-no, he has us spread out. So if one group is caught the others still function." The same man said, trying to gain some favor by letting out more information than was asked. Nodding Kaze gathered up a length of chain from these bay doors before getting all of the mooks, venom users included, in a group and binding them with the chain. With a frightening amount of strength he force welded the links together. Without missing a beat he searched their pockets and snagged their phones. Using one of them he dialed the police.

"I have a group of Venom pushers and users at the docks. No I don't know which one, I'm from out of town." He said before hanging up and tossing the phones into the black waters. Now he needed to find another cluster. With a loud snort he was off once more, that animalistic run back towards the towers of Gotham.

Ka'van touched down back onto solid ground. "Well, I'm glad you are having fun," He said. He pulled out his commlink to radio the others. "This is Wraith. Nuke and I have run across some interesting things at the Ryhmer manufacturing plant. We have collected some blood samples that may need examining. Can anyone meet me to pick them up?"

Once he had radio'd that out, he switched frequencies to contact the authorities. He let them knew about the pile of incapacitated men that they should come arrest, then stuck his radio away.

"Well, that's that," He said, "Why don't you continue the search, and I'll see if I can get Mr. Batman to look at these samples."

For a second it looked like the monster truck could balance without the 4th wheel attached. However, as soon as it reached an uneven surface the clusterfuck came.
Batwoman detached the grappling hook and jumped off. With her cape spread out, she managed to stop midair and slowly return to the ground, while the car continued on in a violent roll.
A streetlamp did it so the vehicle crashed in the shadow of her gliding, the outline of a bat.
What had seemed like impenetrable metal was bend and crushed against the concrete structure of a tunnel. There the burning wreckage had finally stopped its rampage.
All around people were fleeing the streets until only Batwoman remained. Taxis got abandoned, stores got empty and red streetlights got ignored.

She approached what had been a 4-wheeled instrument of death, though with some caution.

Suddenly a broad figure emerged from it. For a little while he just stood there as if the fire was nothing to him. Then he jumped down in a way that both showed off how heavy and how athletic he could be. Lieutenant Trogg had the face of a caveman and the suit of a businessman. A dark ponytail and thick sideburns. His expensive jacket could not cover up the fact that this man had arms like pythons.
“Out of ammo?” he yelled to her, and brought attention to the fact that she clearly hadn’t reloaded.

“I don’t need a gun to take someone like you down,” Batwoman shot back and made no effort to stop him from getting close.

“Clearly you’ve never seen me in the cage fights of Peña Duro prison. I am nothing you’ve ever faced.”

“What? You work for a guy who has abducted a member of the Bat family. You think that makes you any different from any other jaw I’ve shattered these past nights?”

A flicker of rage could be seen in Trogg’s face as he leaped forward and began a series of hooks.
Instantly she noticed that he had not been exaggerating; his attacks were both experienced and calculated, and he unloaded them with such ferocity.
At first, she took the punishment. Deflected a few attacks, let a few get in, before firing a jab at his eyes that threw him off course. When he drew his arm back for another strait hook she directed another jab at his sight and then planted an elbow in his stomach. Now her opponent was disorientated enough for her to jump up and connect with her knuckles. Then a palm to his jaw and a knee in his groin.
With a balanced spinning-kick, she sent him stumbling sideways like a drunken teenager.

It looked like his anger would take over, but then he just smiled and ripped his jacket off in a single movement. “I’m going to enjoy this,” he smirked and revealed two metallic instruments on his forearms, each with a small canister. They looked rather different from the tubes Bane was famous for using. “This is not the watered-down version like we give our men,” he proclaimed. “Not the white-bread patches and not just for muscle mass. No, this is pure, untainted Venom! It's like liquid of the God of War himself!” With those words, Trogg activated the devices. His expensive shirt was torn to pieces and his shoes ripped apart. Countless muscles swelled up with superhuman speed. Suddenly a huge beast stood before Batwoman.

She took a step backwards. “Drugs won’t make you a fighter-“
Before she could say anything else he launched at her. Even though she blocked the blow, it sent her flying strait into the window of a car. With a blurry vision, she shook her head and saw little pieces of glass fall from her hair.

“It’s too soon to pass out,” she heard him laugh. “We were just getting started. Besides if you do, you won’t hear how much you’re actually wrong. You see, we did much more than just abduct your Batgirl.”

“Liar.” She forced herself to stand and raised her fists. She ran forward and just when he threw a punch she slid under it, stopped and kicked his ankle. Before he could turn around she jumped on his back and placed him in a headlock.

Even with his airways blocked he could do the most sinister laughter. He reached backwards found her cape and used it to swing her right down into the road. “You seem to take pain a lot better than the others. Such a stunt was crippling to them. You see … the little Batgirl was just one out of several.”

Batwoman inhaled precious air after having had ever little bit knocked out of her. “You’re bluffing,” she said with her first new breath.

“No. Does the name Nyssa mean anything to you?”

“Ra’s Al Ghul’s daughter?”

“That’s the one.” Trogg grabbed Batwoman by the collar and raised her up into the air, but she was ready for it and placed one hand on his arm and one around his index finger. A hollow sound came as she broke it and removed the smile from his face.

His response was a quick punch to the face that almost knocked her out right there and then. “Good one. This fight is getting interesting. Stay with me now, cause the plan gets better. Bane didn’t just take little ol’ Batgirl. And he didn’t just grab Nyssa. He took one more.”

Struggling in his grip Batwoman managed to let out her insult. “I doubt he’s got the guts to challenge any more people. Bane has always placed it safe. He's a coward.”

“You have no idea, what you’re talking about. He’s greater than you can imagine. Bane also took Rose Wilson.”

“Is that suppose to mean anything?”

“The daughter of none other than Deathstroke.”

With a sudden burst of strength Batwoman freed herself by placing both legs on his chest and kicking herself backwards. She rolled, got up to her knees and grinned her teeth, as the big man towered over her.

“I think I’ll bring you back to meet them," Trogg said. "I would love to tie you up, gag you with your own mask and see the helplessness in your eyes. A damsel in distress like the rest of the collection."

“Let me guess. Your hideout is an ancient castle. You all seem to like clichés,” she hissed at him.

“Not at all. In fact Bane is current located at…” Trogg stopped and suddenly showed the first signs of concern that night. “Wait a minute, wait just a minute. This-this is a trick. You’re tricking me to get to the truth!”

Batwoman’s distressed face changed to a mask of calmness and she wiped the blood from her lip. Without any effort, she got back on her feet and faced him, while almost shining with an aura of control. “You want to hear the truth? Truth is that I was never out of bullets. Truth is that it doesn’t matter how well you fight, if you can’t predict where your opponent is gonna be next second.” She moved her head back just in time to see his fist fly by. “Speed and strength is nothing, if you don’t keep balance.” Right when he got close she dropped, took a batarang and buried it into his knee.

His outcry echoed through Gotham. He took another shot at her, but she was back on her feet in an instance. When the punch came she did the opposite of what was expected: She moved in and swung at him too. While his attack only grazed her, Batwoman’s punch landed right in the joint of his arm.
At first it seemed like it had no effect, but the second time he used the arm, it had gotten just a little bit slower. And another hit in his joint rendered it useless.
His surprise left him open to a whole combination of physical insults to his throat. Now he was the one struggling to breathe.

Batwoman had gotten more than a few surprises this evening, but the first real attack that surprised her came in the form of a kick.
Maybe out of desperation, Trogg had tried a new kind of move, and it payed off as it sent Batwoman hurling down the street.

Thank god, I was quick enough to let my arms take the blow, she thought to herself and felt the pain hammer her nervous system.

The monster in front of her prepared another attack. “Is… is that the best you- AHHHH!!!“
Her grappling hook had buried itself into his thigh where it stayed in place. His hands closed around it, yet before they could do anything the hook pulled Batwoman right up into his face, boots first.
Trogg went down in a cascade of blood and slammed his head into the pavement. There he got his connection to the Venom severed, and Batwoman bound his hands and feet with the steel wire of her grappling hook. After reloading her gun she pressed it against his temple. "Stay down for now, or I'll make you stay down forever." Then she called over the radio. “We’ve got some garbage here, ready for pick up.” She had to pause, since she finally allowed herself to feel the major beating she had so willingly taken. “Bane’s lieutenant, Trogg, is down, but alive. He has some… some troubling news.”

"Wait, did you call him 'Mr. Batman'? Actually, don't answer that." He said as he searched for more unusual samples and traces of either the Venom, or Venom infected blood, which shouldn't be hard to find. He walked over to the unconscious guys on the ground and searched for a insignia or other marking that could show where they're from.

Kaze continued that loping run along the city streets. His nose flaring as he took in the scents while easily avoiding the eyes of the late night walkers. Shadows and alleys were easy to move through to avoid people. It felt like running through the woods except the trees were concrete and metal. His nose latched onto the smell of Venom, changing his course through another side alley and rushing by some slightly buzzed bums who shouted in surprise.

Pavement and cement soon turned into loamy soil, grass, and trees. A park it seemed, and it wasn't particularly well lit. Not that it mattered, he had excellent night-vision even with a cloudy sky over the moon. His crimson eyes latched onto a group of people, each reeking of Venom. As he darted towards them he saw a shape leap from the trees towards the group of prey. He didn't know if it was a friend or foe to them but he just moved anyway.

His speed never slowed as he slammed bodily into one of the Venom sellers who was already using a patch or two. He carried the man off into the dark underbrush without slowing before slamming into a tree. A loud crack, and a yell, was all that was heard before the tree split and toppled over. A dull thump followed, the sound of Kaze smacking the barely conscious venom user before he darted away like liquid darkness. This was his environment and he knew how to move through the vegetation.

For now he did his strange loping run around the group to see what the shape he saw was doing.
