Yeah when the posts to begin the Eps in the RP were posted I'd mentioned the cast would be up in the air for Episode 5. Things changed when the number of players increased. Post Count is just done so that everybody stays within the 3-4 post limit per Ep. That's why I said make them count. Collabs counting for one person doesn't hurt the rest of you. And Episodes don't have to be 12-15 posts total [for 4 players] if a few of you are strapped for time. A handful of collabs can really make an episode come together, I'm thankful so many of you have taken to it.

The cast for Episode 5 is now just one player from each Episode because fair is fair. Don't anybody worry about the reason these four are unaffected by Extant, it's gonna be a funny story.

If recruiting keeps going up there's no need for two characters per player. Right now we're at 16 or 17 accepted players with another 4 players submitting CS's. I had originally only planned for the game to be half the size with around 10 players with 2 characters each tops by Ep 5. We're coming up on 20 players now before I make any cuts and we're not even on Episode 5 yet.

So now I have to change Solara's motivation for staying in the time period. So unless a Leaguer or someone outside the League can provide her with an actual reason why she should stay and not time travel back to her time period, looks like she will succeed.

You are planning on making cuts or you could just not accept so many.

You had no problem rejecting characters & capping the limit in Titans Beyond.

Titans beyond was meant to be a smaller cast. This is the exact opposite. You don't have to change anything, as I was still gonna let the meeting between Goldstar and Solara happen in a future Ep. I can't give everybody a character-centric episode right out of the gate.

If you can't wait, that's on you. But I'm not gonna change the entirety of the game and the order of the episodes to accommodate one player's story if it doesn't fit with the current direction. Everyone will have their chance to shine. Right now things are as they are to work the Secret Society angle.

I don't need divas, I need dedicated players.

I'm fine with waiting if there is a point in introducing the character, but if Goldstar is just going to be a one and done character, then there is no point in involving her at all. I could have just had some random schmo working for the Time Masters or Time Guild come in and do that. If it is going to be just some random schmo or a one and done Goldstar I have no interest in doing it at all. Which necessitates completely changing the plan or having her succeed.

@Burning Kitty The only reason people will get cut will be for not posting. I'm not gonna keep them on the active roster or continue to put them in Episodes if they're.... inactive. That's just common sense.

You call me a drama queen when you're the one who got on here complaining about your character's motivation and personal story because there was nothing about it in the Ep Guide for Eps 6-10. And then again when you assumed Goldstar would've been a one Ep character [which I'm sorry she would probably have to be].

If you're gonna be in this RP you're gonna have to be a team player. Period. Nobody's personal stories will take up multiple episodes unless it serves the overarching plots. If you're gonna keep being salty [and calling a GM names], you can take the attitude elsewhere.
