7:00am

"Welcome all to the first day of term here at Angel Academy, the faculty welcomes you with open arms! I don't have much to say except for all students to abide by the school rules here. If you do not do as the rules permit you to you may find yourself expelled. I look forward to see quick growth in learning here which is why you are all required to attend placement testing at 8:00pm sharp tonight in the ballroom. Your class schedules and dorm pairings should be in the file you hold in your hands. If you do not have a file please tell one of our faculty members. Today is a normal day of class so I will bid you farewell now, before we all miss a few minutes of precious class time. Have a wonderful term here and I'll see you around campus. Behave yourselves!" Headmaster Charmaine Fallenheart takes a sweeping glance at her new batch of students. They looked like all of the others. She'd thought they would be different. They'd have to prove themselves to be different.

The students started standing up, chair scraping against marble as they headed out the door.
Headmaster Charmaine sighed and stood up too, heading towards the back door that lead out into the gardens. It was going to be a long term.

Note from GM: From this IC post forward your character should be heading to their first class (schedule listed in OOC post 1)
Any other classes will be announced and if a fast forward happens it will be announced as well.

"Eight PM tonight.."

Merueid nodded to herself, having left within the crowd of other angels but going fairly unnoticed. To be fair, all were unnoticed to each other- anyone who wasn't friends with another prior to this surely wouldn't be friends now, considering the short timespan between the two. Well, for most, anyway. Most angels waited until the last moment to enroll. Most angels were forced to enroll by those of a higher triad, class, or even age- when considering relativity, that is. Most angels showed up even today looking seemingly sluggish, lazy, and far too irritated for even a mortal with half a brain to think they actually wanted to be here.

Merueid was not most angels.

That's the thing about Angel Academy- in a sense it's just like any college, though one would be, in either retrospect or hindsight, unintelligent to believe it is anything like that on a deeper level.

Merueid, as any angel should, knew well what one of the biggest fundamental focuses of Angel Academy was- growth. This was something she had initially prepared for, readied herself to always be punctual, pristine and at top marks.

Considering her past, did she really have any other choice..?

Well, yes, of course, but that is not at all the way she felt.

Despite having practically drowned herself in the multitudinous plethora of her own thought processes, she found her eye gazing at the file she held. There was no reason to check it now, she felt, so she kept it at her side, and her curiosity in check as she headed to her class- Human Studies.

She could only wonder how it would all go from here.

The crowd swarmed around Amos as he moved the halls of the academy. He let the people sort of push him through as he occupied himself by opening his file. First thing he looked at was his class schedule. The first class he was to attend was Human Studies, figured. He took a moment to look up and see if he could find anybody who looked like third triad angels. He noticed a few who were already grouped together and started following them. Next he looked at his dorm mate, he couldn't wait to see who he would be spending his time at this school with. Hopefully it would be somebody he could get along with and hopefully even be his friend. He looked and saw that his dorm mate was a guy named Meimu, a 231 year old archangel. So his roomie would both outrank him and be older than him. Hopefully he wouldn't think Amos was to immature and inexperienced. Amos was starting to psyche himself out thinking about it. He figured for now the best thing for him to do was worry about his next class and save everything else for when it came.

Cassiel looks around at her surroundings with heightened expectancy. She had wanted to attend Angel Academy for god knows how long. She flips open her file and glances down at her class schedule. Seems like she'd have to go to Human Studies. She followed the tide of people towards their classes before realizing that everyone was all going to different classes and mentally berated herself for not double checking the room numbers. She accidentally bumped into two people on their way to their class as she fought against the tide and raised her head, brushing a curl of golden blonde hair behind her ear.
"Oh! I'm sorry!" And seeing as this was a chance to find her way to the proper class she started talking again "Do you guys happen to know where human studies is? I'm afraid I've lost my way!" She chuckled nervously as she waited for their responses.

"8 PM, uhm, 13 hours practice, great!" Victor thinks and he starts going around to looking for a place to practice with his scythe. He summons a Light ball and control it to go through every door he saw. "So many angel here" "Too many" "Great...
oh, ballroom, i shouldn't practice here" ... ... ... "Finally, this looks like a private place, no one here, huh"
As he say so, he opens the door and comes to the garden. Then, he starts his daily practice there and still let the Light ball stay at the door.

Meimu

"Eight o' clock in the evening..."

He would mark that time period in mind.

Despite being drifted away most of the time, the young-looking archangel was still capable of sensing what was going on outside. He eliminated all the unnecessary information out of his head and rather listened to those that were more important, like the details of his classes, the profile of his roommates and so on. It appeared that his roommate was an angel, under his rank, named Amos, and was a lot younger than him. And usually the younger, the more immature. But Meimu did not have the tendency to judge people so impulsively. In fact, he somewhat harbored a fair amount of affection towards younger celestial beings, for how their naivety in how they see this world. Meimu knew for too long that the world was not as he, or anybody else, had expected. But it was because of that that he was born into this world, as the Keeper of the Dream, and was enrolled in this angel academy. If everything in the world was the beautiful world he had hoped, then he would try to make it exist himself, even if it was just a glimpse of illusion.

As the students began to file out of the hall, Meimu decided to return to the real world, as he began to read through the remaining necessary files. He was in 3rd triad. This meant that he must attend the human studies class. The archangel wasted no time as he stood up and began to move to the classroom.

"Leorin, might I have a word, please?" Her God Studies professor's smooth, rich baritone drew Leorin from her book. While it might not have seemed odd to be reading before class, her selection, Melee Weapons of the Mayan Empire, was a little more unusual. As she closed the book, slipping a worn bookmark between the pages, Leorin eyed the man who called to her. He was not a professor who typically remained on her radar. He was not one to send her to detention, but he certainly was not her biggest fan either. In short, she expected to fly by unnoticed for yet another year. Therefore, his request struck her as problematic. If she had learned anything since joining the Academy three years earlier, it was that 'can I have a word' was code for 'you're in trouble.' It was the first hour of the first day. If she already pissed someone off, it must be a new record.

She shoved back from her desk, found her feet, and sauntered over to the professor's desk. "What's up?" came her answer, hands lazily slipping into the pockets of her vest.

His brilliant blue eyes were already weary as he regarded her with a small frown. Then, he worked his expression into one of more cheerful optimism; she could tell it hurt him a little, so she had to respect him for the effort. "It's the start of a new term," he told her, "so let's make sure we're setting ourselves up for success. Starting out strong."

It all sounded like something he ripped off a motivational calendar. Besides, why was he telling her all that before class even started? For all he knew, she was a changed woman. Maybe she found herself over the summer, and returned a far more studious student.

Nah, he knew better. And maybe she had to respect him for that too. Leorin loosed a small shrug, and offered a small smile of her own. "You got it."

As she returned to her seat, actually considering putting forth some effort for his sake, she realized that she forgot to bring both paper and a pencil. Starting off strong. She snorted.

A voice came from behind Amos, "Oh! I'm sorry! "Do you guys happen to know where human studies is? I'm afraid I've lost my way!" When he turned around to see who was talking he was face to face with one of the most beautiful women he'd ever seen. She was a slender and fair skinned woman. Her hair was a flowing ocean of perfectly maintained blonde hair and her eyes pierced through his heart and forced it to skip a beat. Then there were those lips. Those lips that practically begged to be kissed. Those lips that instantly made Amos fall for this girl. It took all of Amos' willpower for him to not kiss them and even more for him to resist staring at her breast.

Now he would have to play this smart. He was no stranger to flirting. Whatever he did he couldn't come of too strongly right off the bat. He needed time to measure how she would react to him and adjust his strategy accordingly. He used his abilities to calm himself down. He could tell she was a little bit nervous and uneasy. A little bit like him actually, maybe he could use that. There were two ways he could do this; Play like he knew where he was going so she would want to follow him, or he could be honest and empathize with her situation.

He chose the honest route. "To be honest I don't have any idea myself. I'm just following these other angels and banking on the hope that we're not all just following each other. I imagine there's just one guy at the head of the pack who's lost as well and everybody's going to wind up in the wrong location." He threw in the little joke for added effect. In his experience humor was a great way to make people like you. If she didn't like the joke, well then this wasn't the girl for Amos. Next step was introducing himself. Being that she was as new as he was, Amos figured she might be glad to have a friend. "I'm Amos by the way, and you are?" He said with his hand out in the offer of as shake. He gave a slight smile but not one that was too flashy and obviously flirtatious. He had mastered the art of flirting without seeming like he was flirting. Though he knew eventually he'd have to turn it up, but that would have to wait.

"Ah, another human studies student. This is good!"

She brushed her hand through her long, silky hair as she turned to see the speakers. Two angels, one male, named Amos.. and one female, likely the one who had asked for directions. This would be her chance to make two new friends. Perhaps they could be appropriate study buddies! ... if Amos wasn't too busy with this new girl.

Let's be honest here. Merueid is no stranger to flirting. That's not to say she's a hell of a target for men, it's just.. honestly, she wasn't sure WHY people wanted her. It wasn't frequent, though- to say all the men want her is something along the lines of mary-sueish- but again, she knew flirting, and she knew Amos was trying to get in good with the young lass.

And honestly she didn't mind it too much, just so long as his sweet talk didn't hinder her studies or anything like that.

... Still, the thought of having a boyfriend was very enticing...

Merueid shakes her head, letting herself snap back to reality- there goes the gravity of the situation. Clearing her throat, she decided to speak with all the fluency and politeness of one even as regal as the Headmaster.

"I believe we should all check our files- they should tell us the locations of our classes so we do not walk about absent-mindedly."

She opened up her file, and surely enough, there it was. Class 1A. She also saw the name of her assigned roommate.. Cassiel. Merueid made a note to meet this Cassiel if given the chance sometime today.

"The two of you, follow me. I know where Human Studies is."

Cassiel smiled, happy to find some new friends. As Amos held out his hand she raised a cursory eyebrow and shook hands with him, lingering a second longer than necessary. She laughed at his joke before replying.
"Well, hello Amos. I'm Cassiel. And I'm afraid we can't follow this crowd of angels anymore. We have our beautiful guide here" She brandished her hand to the girl next to her and smiled. She'd had plenty of men falling at her feet for as long as she could remember so she was used to it. Amos was a very handsome man and she did feel a small pull of attraction, but she'd felt that pull with anyone that flirted with her so she brushed it away. It would be fun to be in a relationship but otherwise, she just had to make her way to human studies first.

She followed the girl who had spoken, calling after her as they walked.
"What's your name?"
The girl seemed to have the courage that Cassiel was used to and she was sure they would be best friends in no time, if nothing went wrong that is. She made sure to look behind her where she had sped up and cast a smile at Amos, making sure to brush another tendril of hair across her bare shoulder as she did. Oh man, what fun she would have with the boys of this academy.

Ember had listened carefully as the headmistress spoke. She stood from her seat afterwards, clutching her file close and curling the edges of the paper sticking out out of habit, trying to memorize the time of the test well enough that she would be able to trust her own memory later on. She was undeniably nervous. She wasn't too good in big crowds, and she hadn't seen this many people in one place for a long time. Her mother had warned her about attending Angel Academy, but Ember was only just realizing how out of her depth she was. She was so anxious that she hadn't even looked at her file yet.

She navigated out of the crowded hall, needing space to breathe before she began the quest to her first class. She slipped into the girl's restroom and took a few deep breaths, thankful to have some space to herself, before looking at her file.

She read that her roommate was someone named Leorin, a 25-year-old who was one rank below Ember. She was a little worried about figuring out how to balance a tiny room between the two of them, but then again, she was worried about everything right about now. Realistically, she knew that it would only take a week or so to adjust to life here, but her insecurities just kept whispering everything that could go wrong.

She gave herself another minute to get it together, examining her schedule closely, before leaving the bathroom and heading towards her first class, Nature Studies. She was able to find her classroom fairly easy, as she had a good sense of direction, and took the seat off to the left side of the middle row of seats. She figured this way she could hear and see everything the professor did without drawing much attention to herself. She was hoping that the wandering eye would pass right over her until she figured out the social climate here well enough to begin socializing with the others. She just wasn't ready to have a conversation yet, and was extremely scared of making a fool of herself. She settled into her seat and pulled the book she was reading out of her bag to pass the time until class started, and to shield herself from anyone who might approach her.

AMOS

Amos had to be the luckiest guy in this school. Not even halfway into his first day and already he was walking down the halls with, what he figured to be, the two most beautiful girls in the school. This new girl had burning orange hair and a stern yet lovely face. She was about an inch taller than Amos and stood way above any other girl in the hallway. In Amos' opinion she wasn't quite as beautiful as Cassiel, though she did wear a more revealing top and shorter skirt.

She wasn't just tall, she walked tall. There was a confident stride to her gait and she carried herself in a very elegant manner. Amos didn't need to read her emotions to tell that she was a lot less bothered by the stress of the first school day than her peers. He had a feeling that she would be a good friend to have around. Just being around her made Amos feel more comfortable in this strange new environment.

Cassiel asked the new leader of their pack her name. As she did she looked back at Amos and threw him a coy smile. Was that flirting? Amos was confident that it was. But he'd let her make a couple more moves like that before he started going in for the kill. Sometimes relationships could be damaged irreparably by simply misreading a stray signal.

Now that this golden haired beauty was in front of Amos he was able to get a proper look at her backside. He liked what he saw. She was properly fit, with a body that look like it had been sculpted by Michelangelo. Everything about her frame was perfect. Not to mention a lovely rear bumper. Not a common sight on many white girls. As she walked each cheek seemed move up and down in a hypnotic way. Amos slapped himself internally before he let himself stare for too long. With girls like these around him, Amos was sure to have a difficult time focusing on school.

Cassiel.. that was the name of her roommate. Small world.. how coincedental. Perhaps it was more than that, though. Merueid turned her head slightly, despite not stopping.

"How curious that you both would ask of my name in the same time period.. My name is Merueid. If I am correct, you two are Amos and Cassiel.. on the assumption that I heard your conversation just now. I look forward to becoming better acquainted with you two.."

From her position, she smiled at the two before looking forward again. She decided she'd let the surprise rest on Cassiel, and not tell her that they were roommates yet..

"We are close to our class now.. it is the next door on the left."

As Merueid watched the rest of the possible prodigies make their way in, she followed suit, taking a seat in the front of the class.
