"Oilburn" Slick Drake

Slick smiled as the bad liar collapsed to the floor with ease, Drik rifled through his pockets to find a good amount of metal shinys, flammable fuel for art, pointy sharp stuff, a lot of watches, and a photo of the bad liar's family. Slick frowned at the sight of this, he was disappointed now. You can't make art without the full set. Oh well, at least they have lots of metal shinys now. There was also a lot of apples, Slick liked apples. He took one for himself and bit down on the juicy apple, it was good but it would be better if it was cooked with cinnamon. As he thought about this he began walking towards the marketplace to go buy foods for everyone, food was important.

After much confusion involving Slick repeatedly referring to ham as "oink oink art", Drik and Slick were able to procure enough food to last the crew until the next island, maybe longer if they rationed carefully. Which they weren't, not if Slick had anything to say about it. After having the food sent to the ship he decided to just follow Drik wherever, maybe Drik would know where to make good art.

Fitness Feya

Enjoy the Sights

Interacting with: @ProPro@Old Amsterdam

Feya's nose whistled as she breathed through it. She observed the navy soldiers and how they proceeded to argue amongst themselves. She crossed her arms, looking at them with a disappointed gaze. "Well, this did not lead to anything productive," she complained. Her plans of possibly participating in a workout regimen compromised of Navy techniques had been blown out of the water.

It appeared that the Navy had strange characters as well. She tilted her head to look at her mink crewmate. "I might just explore the sights a bit. Maybe I'll find something to increase my strength, if not, I"ll just head back to the ship. I'm not planning to stick around with this constant bickering. It looks like I won't be able to get a word in. The nerve of that guy..."

Feya Fitness referred to the lazy approach by the more lenient individual. Shaking her head, she continued to shrug her shoulders. Not sure if she could convince him otherwise. She saluted Caesar as she began jogging down the road.

The Library - Bonesword and Lilliana

The clerk stared down at the bag of cash that Bonesword had dropped for her, and carefully drug it across the counter, placing it in her pocket. "Oh yes, that should cover things quite nicely," she said, her eyes shifting around. "Thank you for your purchase. And would you look at that, we've run out of receipt paper so I can't provide you a receipt of this completely legal and legitimate transaction. Oh darn it, well I hope that's perfectly ok with you now thank you bye bye please leave now goodbye."

And so the afternoon of shopping, relaxation, and sightseeing came to an end. The Red Rums completed their basic chores, but for the most part didn't feel like expanding their exploration. Thus it came time to rest for the night, for they would set sail the next morning... To Reverse Mountain! To the Grand Line!

Surprisingly, or perhaps not at all, the night was uneventful, allowing the pirates to get all the sleep and rest they needed. As the sun rose up over the horizon it was time to set sail, and so Captain Cedric D. Boone gathered up any crew that had decided to spend the night in town and they were off! The sailing was none too difficult, they'd faced stronger weather before. The wind was at their backs and so the Rum Runner made excellent time. What normally would have been half a day's journey turned out to merely take three hours. So at 9:58 they saw it. They saw Reverse Mountain!

The Red Line, the only continent in the world, crosses the planet and dividing it into two hemispheres. The Grand Line and the Calm Belts cross the world perpendicular to the Red Line. Here where the Red Line and the Grand Line meet is the mighty Reverse Mountain! Each of the four seas connects to the mountain by way of canal, where the water appears to do the impossible, running up the mountain instead of falling down as gravity dictates! The point at the top is where all four of the Blue Sea canals converge, and the four currents meeting together head on creates a fifth canal, straight down into the Grand Line!

But most ships attempting to enter the Grand Line by way of Reverse Mountain end up smashed to pieces as the current hurls them against the rocky walls. The Red Rums would have the hardest bit of sailing they've ever had in their lives up to this point! How would they deal with the challenge?

Captain Cedric D. Boone - Reverse Mountain!

With the rum Runner quickly approaching the infamous Reverse Mountain, Captain Cedric sized up their situation. It was the end of many crew's journeys. Cut short by the unforgiving mountainside. Wonderful dreams dashed to pieces by the jagged rocks.

If they were to succeed where others failed, they would need a plan. After a few minutes of thinking, with the help of a bottle of rum in hand, Boone finally declared, "Mr. Messir, take us towards the center of Reverse Mountain. Caesar, use your strength to help Mr. Messir stabilize the helm. Our new shipwright! Im excited to see your repairing skills in action on our ship. Bonesword! Use your plants to protect our ship from the walls and rocks around. Provide wood to our capable shipwright as needed for repairs. Slick, I need you to prepare our ship for the journey. Take hold of the rigging as needed for our movement. Feya, please do the same, but also be on watch for anyone who falls overboard. You are the best hope for our devil fruit sinkers. Lilli, I want you to be our floater and help anyone as needed. We are counting on you all! I will be looking out for problems as they arise. Shooting them as able."

If everything went as planned, the crew would be more then ready to face anything Reverse Mountain could throw at them. It was a dangerous endeavour, but if they couldn't face this trial they would never be able to endure the Grand Line.

On Course through Reverse Mountain!

"Aye-aye, Cap'n Boone!" Bonesword said as he sprouted a large tree in one of his designated spots so Kite had material to work with pre-emptively. The problem with moving the ship through Reverse Mountain was that the entire pass was jagged and risky, so having Bonesword multimanage a bunch of things at once was a bit of a tricky dick to deal with, but honestly he'd been through a bit worse.

"Someone get the milk ready, because I might need it halfway through," Bonesword called as he placed his hand on the deck of the ship, thick vines shooting out of the sides of the ship like wildfire. Each one returned into the ship's hull quickly after, creating a barrier between the rocky walls of the path the crew was taking and the hull of the ship. If the ship went down... they all went down.

Bonesword remained in the middle of the ship with his sword on his back and his hand on the deck, focusing on keeping the ship stable as the ship crept through Reverse Mountain. Worst-case-scenario, Bonesword fell in and died.

That... that was a very unpleasant thought, actually.

Bonesword shook his head as he just kept trucking, hoping that he'd be alright where he stood.

Caesar moved over to stand beside Dirk, placing a hand briefly on the little man's head before taking position on his half of the wheel.

His machete was sheathed on the opposite side, away from Dirk, while his new broadsword was sheathed on his back.

He was focused, watching Bone Kid prepare.

He was excited, deep in his gut, at the challenge this obstacle presented.

But so long as everyone did their job, there really was no reason why they couldn't beat this mountain and come out into the Grand Line!

Wafer D. Kite - Do your best Kite! And then do better!

At the behest of Captain Boone, Kite began to monitor the ship as they pulling into the force of nature known as Reverse Mountain. immediately, he got to work. He patched even the tiniest scrape along the hull of the ship. The ship was well made, though he was sure that this would still be a tough trial to overcome. He would spend the trip constantly running up and down between each level of the ship to fix it as working on it from the outside would be deadly if even the smallest mistake was made. He wouldn't have much time to rest, even with help from Lilliana as he came to know her. This would be difficult. But he had it. He'd had time to take pick up some new tools apart from his wrenches at the shipyard in Clock Town. He could do this. He would do this. Not just for himself, but for his new crew. Still, it was likely that try as he might, most of the fixes would be temporary at best until he was able to properly would on it, and the ship would need much more work after Reverse Mountain.

Dirk Messir - Flood The Ship With Digital Oceans

Yes. It was time for the cappen to be at the ship commands, and Dirk is ready to do his bit to start doing the bit of sailing that any am man wants to be at. For sailing, that he was already doiung and will do.

'Caaaaan do,' he said, grinning with violence intent to break all these waters. Only he, with his mighty knowledge of ship, can do that. Him and Kaiser. Why though.

'Why though.' Kaiser didn't need to be there, and then also patted his head? But also how? Caesar Inu is short, Dirk is tall, this doesn't make sense. Dirk, what are you doing?

Yes, Dirk. Why are you even there? You don't know how to control a ship. You might as well let the animal man do it; at least he'd have a chance of controlling it.

Bugger off, Caesar is a cool guy, but doesn't know how to understeer properly. I'll do it, because I hev the top mastery of rotation and is the Divine Purpose will guide the paths.

'You smell nice, Caesar,' he said to Caesar. He had a nice smell, nice comforting smelly smell, like a dry dog. Yes.

Lilliana Merrycure

Nodding briefly to Boone, Lilli turned her attention to Reverse Mountain while the others prepared the ship. Intermittently she assisted with repairs and gave Bonesword some suggestions and encouragement. Her main suggestion was to create multiple layers, even if they were disposable, so that the ship would have a shell to work with. She also made sure he didn't overextend. She affixed something to the deck in front of him. It was a thermos full of milk and despite any of the ship's movement it would not be dislodged. Its lid made sure it wouldn't spill either. She informed Bone-chan that if he squeezed around the lid it would extend a straw out for him.

She had plans to make it something he could wear at some point. So he'd always have milk ready and available when he needed a boost. It was something to look forwards to.

Beyond that she looked about the ship and checked in on her nakama, making everyone was properly taken care of and on task. Whenever she wasn't needed, she'd return to looking at Reverse Mountain while standing near Bone-chan. All the while, B-MO built and disassembled things in the bag at her side.

She felt...antzy, but excited. The mountain was so intimidating, but she saw it like a gateway. It was looming and ominous, but once through it, well, who knew what one might find!

Smiling she called out in a cheer, “Crew, I know we can do this, I believe in you! On to the Grandline!” She cast a smile back at Boone as well before turning her focus back to the mountain once more.

Oh boy was this exciting.

Slick stood at attention, but his eyes told a completely different story as he stared off into the distance. "Yeah, rigging. Not fire stuff, sure." He would do his job, but the whole time he was kinda not really paying attention to what he was doing. Why would he think about boring ropes and boat stuff when he could be thinking about how to set stuff on fire better? Calciumedge asked for milk, which was something that Slick actually cared about! Huzzah, no more boring ropes! "I'll get the milk!" He then ran off to the kitchen, disappearing into it's depths to get milk... assuming he didn't get distracted by something flammable.

Orders were given, and the pirates each took to their stations for this all important trip. Steering was of the utmost importance, which meant that Dirk, with the aid of Caesar, had the most important job in this event. Even entering the mouth of Reverse Mountain's canal would prove to be tricky. Any last second change of wind and they'd be knocked off course just enough for the rapids to send them spiraling out of control! But that wasn't going to happen, not with the excellent navigational skills and eagle eye of their captain, Broadsides Boone! Dirk kept her steady, lined up perfectly with the center of the mouth. As they sailed in closer and closer the ship began to pick up speed. Soon they were pulled in violently by the impossible uphill current. The real test had now begun.

Even those with the most sturdy of sea legs found the sudden jolt to throw them somewhat off balance. The Rum Runner was now shooting up the mountain at a 70 degree angle. Anybody that wasn't holding onto something would wind themselves tossed back rather violently. The sails were pulled up thanks to the good work of Sli-Wait, where was Slick?! Oh no, the sails were never properly put up! The massive upcurrent with the air resistance granted by the sails forced the ship to list starboard! Crash! Large sections of protective vines were torn from the ship as they hugged against the rocky walls! A portion of the mast's crossbeam snapped in two as it hugged that same wall. The Red Rums had left their mark on Reverse Mountain already, here's to hoping they wouldn't leave another! But hey, Bonesword got milk, so that was a great use of time, wasn't it?

Feya and Lilliana managed to get the sails and rigging back into place so the ship's balance was no longer thrown off, but that was only a part of the struggle. Crash! A section of the outer hull was torn away as they hit another rock, just in time for Dirk and Caesar to steer them away from the wall. That didn't mean they were totally back on point though! A larger than average wave tossed the ship up into the air, and it came crashing back down with intense force! Kite had plenty of work going on! Thankfully it was all damage that could be repaired en route, at least so far!

Bonesword's vines were starting to replenish at a rate that could keep up with the crashing and rocking damage as Dirk and Caesar could better stabilize their trajectory. For the first time since starting their uphill ascent, Boone's directions could actually be put to use! Now they were dodging rocks like skilled professionals, instead of blindly flailing about like a drenched bat in a tight cave! The summit was coming closer, and closer, and closer! The Rum Runner launched up into the summit, where all four currents from the four Blue Seas converged! Now there was only one way left to go, right back down-OH CRAP WHAT WAS THAT?!

Despite incredible odds making the event seemingly impossible, which is precisely why it was always guaranteed to happen, another ship was ascending Reverse Mountain at the exact same time from the West Blue! It flew its own Jolly Roger flag signifying it to be another pirate ship. A sloop, to be precise, with a figurehead made to look like a metal spoon. Her own crew was visibly running about in just as much distress as the Red Rums, and for good reason! If something wasn't done quickly, the two ships would collide, no doubt destroying both vessels and likely killing everyone involved!

A single man on the opposite ship, a bit shorter than average, wearing a blue bicorn hat, and sporting an impressive mustache, stepped forward and threw out his hands. In what could only be described as some sort of devil fruit power, tons of small round pellets, innumerable, spewed forth from his palms and into the water. It provided great resistance which slowed his ship down, but it wasn't enough. The Red Rums had to act quickly, or they'd still crash!

Hitting the Brakes!

Bonekid stared forward on his quest as he tried his hardest to ignore the chaos that was going on behind him, grabbing the hilt of his blade with his free hand as he kept focusing on the task ahead. A slight headache began in the child's head, but as long he kept up what was going on, the ship would be fine! He could stop this then! He just had to get through this one thing before he collapsed.

That's when Bonekid saw the mighty jolly roger of the other ship, and he knew what was going on. They were on a direct course to hit each other!

Bonekid pushed down harder on the deck of the ship as four large trees shot out of the sides of the ship, forcing themselves into the water and beginning to slow the descent of the mighty Rum Runner as it continued forward. The headache in Bonekid's skull only got stronger as he rode on the deck, the sword arm gripping the blade even tighter.

Yet again, Bonekid talked to the mighty weapon despite it not speaking back to him. "B-bud, I'm not sure if I can keep this up for much longer! That milk better get here quick, or someone else needs to give me a hand!" Bonekid's eye socket had a light go out as if he was holding one eye shut, but the child kept up with his job as best as he could.

Captain Cedric D. Boone - Reverse Mountain!

Seeing the incoming ship as they ascended to the top of Reverse Mountain, Boone yelled out, "Ship incoming! Hard to port! All available hands lean left!" With his commands given, Cedric ran to the port side of the Rum Runner. If they all pulled their weight along with the helm turning correctly, they should have just enough room to miss the other ship.

There simply wasn't enough time to greet the other captain, but the mustached man's powers intrigued Boone nonetheless. If they survived this dangerous encounter Cedric would be sure to extend a formal greeting to him.

This was...a terrible idea. Really, everything was going pretty well considering the main mast was gone and they'd been airborne for several second too many.

Caesar shook his head, as he worked with Dirk to keep things better than they -

"Holy shit!" he growled at the mighty pirate ship coming straight for them.

Their Captain was using some kind of power to slow them down, and Bone Kid was using trees to slow them down. But, that couldn't be enough at these speeds.

Captain said to turn and move, but Caesar couldn't move from the wheel without poor little Dirk being turned by the rabbits. Rapids? Or was it the current?

Bah, whatever. Caesar thought this was a poor idea, just like letting Slick do boat stuff, but he trusted Boone. So he pulled, looking at the mother of the group.

"If you're going to do anything crazy, I suggest doing it now!" he yelled towards her.

Dirk Messir - C Is For CEREAL, Also Caesar

He saw the enemy mothership, after sandviving all the other nonsense, including SLICK DIDN'T RUN IN THE SAILS YOU UTTER FOOOOOOL. Also, it was hard for the Divine Purpose to be followed properly, and if he failed, Dirk gets boat injured at times. That wouldn't be good. And then he was right up in the frontness area part of the boat which would get hit when Captain Cool Moustache Wario hits them with his their that crew's boat which is tooooooooo angry.

You may as well jump overboard now. It'd be a quicker death, and the world would be spared your visage, freak.

'NUUOOOOOOHHHH!' Dirk shrieked, both at Death and Derek, who both suck and could not channel the Divine Purpose. But speaking of that, it said do what Borne said, so Dirk can't say what I mean but can do what I mean, and I turned it to the leftleftleft, so the boat would head down right in the leftrightleftrightleftrightleftright I really love your tidy light.

Stop it Retard! You're going to die Dickhead!

You are the retarded ones. I am a genius is Dirk am is he. See, it's turning right now! Right to the appropriate area of the downstream downhill to the area where where they want to be. At the equal time, Caesar Salad was saying to have tell Lillian she needs to do the Cool Jokes, so I says to Mabel I says 'Yes. Do it.' Not in yelling, but she probably heard him. Yeah, she totally heard him say that.

Now this was speed! This was adventure! This was...VERY DANGEROUS HOLY SHI-- the ship hit the one of the channel's sides and she was jostled and thrown to the side, only just catching herself before toppling over the side of the railing. Quietly, she swore, before turning to see what everyone else was doing...and then they were airborne.

“Wha-wha-wha?!?” Her eyes widened in a mixture of terror and excitement, the ship's descent following its hop leaving her briefly suspended in the air before they hit the waves. They'd lost a mast! They were on a collision course! They needed to slow down!

B-MO moved, a flash, reaching into her huge, deep mechanic's pouch and devouring all of the metal there. She squeaked slightly in fright at the overwhelming situation and the sudden loss of all her tools.

Then she realized she could do something about it as B-MO began to swell, for it was digesting the metals and generating more of the bio-metal that made up its form. Understanding, Lilli set her jaw and allowed a small smirk to form.

“BRACE YOURSELVES GENTLEMEN!” She shouted as she managed to get to her dear son. Over the roaring wind and waves, she called out to him, placing her hands on his shoulders.

“Entangle my legs with roots,” she told him. Once he'd done that she focused her awareness through B-MO and allowed the still rapidly expanding metallic organism to stretch out into two sets of absolutely huge metal arms. Spikes shout out at intervals and anchored to the ship at sturdy points, doing minimal damage.

“Reinforce the spikes, I know you can do it. You'll get all the milk and cuddles after this, I promise!” She said, coaxing strength into her boy. She smiled as the two of the arms, more like long thick tentacles now, plunged over the sides of the ship and dipped into the water. Immediately they began deforming from the current and the forces applied. She gritted her teeth and with one of her flesh-and-blood limbs, extracted a syringe and injected herself with it. It would give her a shot of adrenaline and healing juices. It was a stopgap measure, but it'd have to do.

She felt B-MO's presence in her body, reinforcing her, and it was pretty painful. Then the forces acting on the arms—and thus her—increased tenfold and everything went white for a few seconds. She'd passed out, but came to only seconds later, her body shaking as the force of creating what amounted to spoon-like scoops in the water were formed. They were perpendicular to the boat and the current and so water would be caught, creating additional drag to slow the ship down.

The downside was despite her preparations and the assistance of BS, the physical forces acting on her body were immense. If she were normal she'd have been torn asunder several times over. With the assistance she merely felt like she might be torn apart. The tension in all of her muscles was immense.

Hopefully it would be enough to slow them down.

Wafer D. Kite - Embarrassment and death defying stunts! Good luck Kite!

Kite had begun his preparation thinking they could somehow easily handle the challenge that had appeared before them. Reverse Mountain, however, was an obstacle ready to break down the spirit of any pirate not prepared to commit their lives to their dreams. He realized this quickly as the violent current pulled the Rum Runner in and jerks him back.

"Shit!" He yelped as he grabbed hold of the rail of the ship and held himself in place. Once he'd adjusted he began moving again. The sails had been pulled down and the ship stabilized, but soon a chunk of the mast's crossbeam was taken. This helped in part to throw off the balance once again. Then they lost a part of the hull. "Fuck..." He seemed to complain though the smile on his showed off everything but fear. He was excited. This was part of what he'd dreamed of. He'd never thought of the journey to freedom and the life of a pirate as simple and devoid of danger. So, he sprung into action.

Bonesword had created wood which he picked up. The amount was probably more than most people would be able to carry in one trip. Most normal people anyway. He had been tasked with keeping the ship moving. Besides, years of work, lifting, building and repaired had helped build a considerable amount of muscle. He began first by patching the areas that had been torn away. He grinned as he hammered the planks into place and covered the holes to avoid unnecessary water from getting in. It'd taken a few minutes, but it was still faster than the average shipwright would have handled it.

"Okay, that's done now..." He rushed because to the deck. He'd grabbed himself a rope, but he'd remembered hearing something earlier. Something about milk. He ran to the kitchen and grabbed all he could of the stuff before rushing out and to Bonesword. He hadn't paid much attention to anything else he was so focused on everything going on. "Here!" He called out as he skidded to a stop before the kid and threw the milk from the bucket onto him. It wouldn't be for a few that he'd notice the cup that'd likely be placed by Lilliana in front of him. "Oh..." Maybe the kid didn't need to be covered in milk, but drink it. Well that's embarrassing... He thought before the sight caught his eye.

"Holy shit..." The ship was on a collision course, but the little bone boy and Lilliana were fast at work to try and avoid it. But how could he... He stopped and shook his head. "The mast." He said simply. He couldn't just gawk at them all. This was a pirate crew. Still he'd heard the captains orders, but he couldn't follow them. "Bonesword, I need you to create a stump of a tree out of the broken end of the mast. It'll be a temporary fix, but I'll be able to fix the ropes and cables back so we can have better control of the sails." He explained quickly as he checked to make sure the cup was filled.

Without another word and hopefully sparing him of his own embarrassment he ran to the mast. He wraped the rope he'd grabbed around himself and, somewhat loosely, around the mast itself. He could at least climb with less fear of the wind and speed knocking him off. He began to climb watching as the "extra wood" formed. Hell yeah. He smirked as he made his way up to it and got to work driving in spaces he could loop the ropes through and among other things. Once he'd fixed those, hopefully they would hold until they were down the mountain.

Now, he was slowly making his way along the mast. He was pulling up, closing and fastening the sails. There would, hopefully, be less wind propulsion and help slow the ship further to avoid the collision. Unfortunately, he would need to hold on for dear life now, as getting up had already been enough of a challenge and getting down... Yeah That's gonna be a problem. He thought as he resigned himself to stand down and watch the others at work, particularly Lilliana, who's equipment was a technological marvel and he wanted to know more.

Disaster was coming in hard and fast! The summit of Reverse Mountain pooled up the four currents like a whirlpool before ejecting the water back down. This made the situation especially difficult to deal with, and most of the Red Rums were ignoring their captain’s orders. Thankfully, it was to make themselves useful in other ways, suited to each of their unique talents. The other ship’s crew could be seen doing their best as well, and quite a colorful group were they! But now wasn’t the time to stop and gawk.

The trees Bonesword sprouted did a great job at slowing the Rum Runner’s trajectory. What they also did was completely throw off the ship’s course. The current still carried them in the same direction, but not straight. They were spinning. Even better at slowing them, and helping to stabilize their course, was Lilliana’s contribution with her B-MO. The spinning slowed and nearly came to a total halt! But they really started going places once Kite managed to juryrig some repairs on the mast. Enough even that Dirk had some measure of control over the ship!

Aided by Caesar’s raw strength, Dirk was able to direct the Rum Runner properly, albeit with intense difficulty. Narrowly missing a series of rocks, the Rum Runner made it to the mouth of the downward channel! As long as she kept steady, they were home free! Down, down, down they went, picking up more and more speed as gravity worked on the ship! The end was in sight, clouded by the mist of water churning. And they! Were! FREE! Droplets splashed over everyone’s faces as they passed through the curtain of mist. On the other side, nothing but beautiful blue ocean in every direction.

A couple seconds later the other ship emerged as well. The mustachioed man could be heard screaming like a child, gripping his ship’s figurehead. However once they cleared the danger, he instantly decomposed himself. The ship pulled up next to the Rum Runner, and the man addressed them. ”Ahoy there! That was quite a close call, wasn’t it? Shook me right up! Omnomnomnomnom! What luck we had, eh? I’d say it’s a sign! Care to meet up and introduce ourselves? My crew was just about to sit down for some lunch, but you’re welcome to join us! There’s more than enough to go around! Omnomnomnom!”

Assuming the Red Rums took up the mustached man on his offer, he would setup a crossing plank immediately.

Captain Cedric D. Boone - New Friends

Captain Boone held on with a deathly grip to the ship's railing as as he clenched his teeth. They had gotten past the rocks after spinning, but due to the crew's ingenuity they became more stabilized. As they made their way down the slope of the mountain side Cedric stood and gave a joyous shout, "YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!! WE ARE GONNA MAKE IT!!"

The ship passed through the mist and the water sprinkled Boone's face. It hid the tears that streamed his eyes as he saw the vast beautiful blue ocean all around them. Another step closer to his dream of finding what his father never could. Ah, If only Amber and his son could see him now! Cedric muttered quietly to himself, "This is for you my greatest treasures.." With that he wiped his face and turned to his flask of alcohol in his belt. He hesitated for a moment before taking a good long swig, "Ahh..that's good stuff." He closed the top as he threw it toward Caesar to catch, "Everyone! Have a swig to celebrate!"

Then he turned to see Lilli in her weakened state. He rushed to her aid and helped lift her up. Where was their other doctor when they needed her? That's when the captain of the other ship spoke up and invited the Red Rums aboard for some lunch! Never one to miss out on the chance to eat food and celebrate captain Cedric replied, "Bawhahahaha! Absolutely good sir! The name is Cedric D. Boone! I've never seen such an interesting ability before. What is your name?"

As he spoke he carried Lilli over to the other ship since she seemed too weak to do so herself. Fortunately she would be able to celebrate as well. He turned to his crew and stated, "Drop anchor, we will be heading over for lunch! By the way..where is Slick?"

Meeting the New Crew

Bonekid fell backwards onto the deck as he 'took a breath', using the opportunity to try and regain his stamina as he raised his arm into the air for a thumbs-up towards Captain Boone. "I'll be heading over shortly, Cap. I just need a minute."

Laying on the deck of the ship, Bonekid turned his head to Wafer, giving the man commencement for his work as well as an order. "Solid job at that fix speed, Kite. I was a bit skeptical, but you've definitely proved your worth. Mind droppin' the anchor?" Bonekid asked as he climbed back up onto his feet, using his sword for a bit of support. "I'd do it myself, but I'm gonna let my headache settle before I try any plant stuff for a while."

Quickly grabbing his bag (which was put in a safe spot on the ship's deck), Bonekid followed the captain of the Rums as he pulled out his Devil Fruit Encyclopedia, sheathing his sword in exchange. Looking at the captain of the opposite ship, Bonekid had to ask a question to him directly. "Excuse me, Captain?! Was that a devil fruit power you had demonstrated?!" Bonekid asked while he opened the book to the Table of Contents, looking for all the fruits he could to identify what the captain had used.
