Name: Keisuke Moto
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Personality: Keisuke is an individual who seems a bit...melancholic on the average, as if a little depressed even during times when he is smiling. Able to maintain a calm head in general and keep his cool around even those whose very nature "pisses me off" in his own words, it is not hard to see how he survived in his line of work, pulling back emotionally, shutting down barriers to keep from going insane after so much blood and such was on his hands. Despite this, he is inevitably cautious, always taking a sense of caution with him but able to switch it off in a heartbeat if the time comes to act and avoid pondering on things for too long. However, he is also someone who at times enjoys the simple things, like a hot cup of home-made tea or sitting and getting a breath of fresh air.
Oddly enough, he has always admired the "honorable" sort of warrior, like a samurai of the warriors of ancient China, how they had great strength of both body and mind, of character and their martial skills in combat. At a very young age, he dreamed about becoming a warrior one day, to fight until his last breath, to inspire others with feats of bravery and glory. Ah. And yet, as he is such a dream to him is impossible now, he himself being too tainted by the world to rise above the normal man like some kind of..."hero". If faced with such an individual, he tends to feel both a mixture of admiration and skepticism, though in general were he to meet such an individual he would be willing to humor and favor such a figure should they be on his side. And really, that wish to become a warrior hero has not fully left him, perhaps leading him to follow that wish a bit under the right influence.

Abilities:
Onmyodo- He is very skilled but specialized at Onmyodo, being especially notable in the realms of divination (things more along the lines of scrying for locations and people are some of the things he does best), whilst also possessing a notable affinity for the creation and usage of shikigami. A shikigami to erode a building's supports away, a shikigami to enforce a curse that causes the enemy's blood to heat up and eventually boil under their skin, a shikigami to place a cursed barrier in an area temporarily that disorients those trapped in it, a curse that can cause the enemy's body to attack itself from the inside, among other things are the sort of powers he can employ.
Basic Magecraft- How to make a basic bounded field for detection and securing leylines and such, the unlocking and locking of doors, basic mental interference magecraft for erasing memories and such, all of these basic capabilities that magi can have he possesses in a general variety.
Brief Backstory: Keisuke Moto is a magus of the Moto Family, a group of onmyodo-practicing magi who have passed on their art for generations and generations since ancient times. However, in one of their latest generations, the family began to suffer from fertility issues, leaving fewer children to inherit their ways and magecraft in the future. Among one of these particular generations was Keisuke, who was cast aside as a possible heir for his sister, who was born with amazing circuits whilst possessing a more frail body than the average. While she was trained and raised to become the family head, being treated and raised like a proper princess to a kingdom essentially, he was trained in magecraft in general to serve as a fitting member of the family who would be able to pass on the family's arts if he managed to have children in the first place.
He became skilled at divination at first, and then took up with and became skilled at the creation and use of shikigamki familiars. However, beyond that and a bit of the average magecraft, Keisuke never took up more with his family's magecraft. As it were, his sister was pushed to marry out of their family to the cruel and cocky heir of an allied onmyodo family out of desperation to preserve their bloodline's strength, which had become more desperate of a thing as another part of the family fragmented due to infighting over their methods of attempting to maintain their heritage as magi even as less children were born over the years to the family itself. Not desiring to go through with this and see his sister forced to be around such a cruel person, he refused to accept this thing his family had planned.
Furious at them as a result, a great rift was created between he and his parents, which became worse as time went on and they attempted to push his sister to do as they desired to supposedly "help" maintain their bloodline. Eventually becoming disillusioned with his family, Keisuke stole a knife from the kitchen one night, stabbed his parents to death, and then ran away with his sister to find a place to safely live. A place she could be away from their family's insanity and where they could get away from their extreme pushiness and demands. This would lead the two to run into the freelance magus "Ichi Moyasu", a magus who curiously took the two in after finding them huddling on the streets one night in the cold, clothes tattered from attempting to evade a group of family members coming after them.
It was here that Ichi taught Keisuke and his sister more about onmyodo, raising them as his own seemingly on a whim, and perhaps in part to spite the Moto Family for a past grudge he had against them due to pact run-ins with them that had turned....sour. Keisuke was trained to become a freelancer himself by Ichi,a being taught the ways of a freelance magi and the utilizing of some modern things like guns to support his magecraft, whilst his sister was simply raised to use magecraft in her daily life on top of what her family had engrained into her. Eventually, after working with Ichi for years, Keisuke was able to afford an comfortable and good apartment to move his sister into. From here he set things up where part of his paychecks for each "job" he would do would go to keeping Ichi paid to protect his sister, albeit Ichi himself noted it wasn't a necessary thing since he was willing to protect the two kids he had raised in part the first place. Still, to Keisuke the action was "not enough to pay him back for what he did for us, so it is the least i could do".
After this Keisuke set off to work as a freelancer, employing his shikigami familiars, curses, divination, and his onmyodo skills in performing the various jobs he was hired for. Further, becoming acquainted with Ichi's contacts in and out of Japan among criminal groups and secluded magi who worked for him.
Killing other magi. Getting information. Seducing someone who knew secrets. Locating magi with a sealing designation to report this info to the Magus Association for money. Traveling from place to place in all of this that was a part of his line of work, Keisuke became hardened and eventually depressed by his life as essentially a "mercenary" hired to do the dirty work of other magi. He was no "Kiritsugu Emiya" of the canon timeline, but all the same he became a skilled magus and freelancer in his own right who earned quite a lot of money and did more dirty deeds than he could bear to count. And in the end, it was all for his sister, for the reason he had fled home, rejected his family, and taken up a job as a mage of one of the "lowest" types in magus society.
What else was his purpose in life than to ensue at least she had a chance at a better life? To have a family, to be healthy, to be free of those forces their family has sought to force upon her? And yet, the world seemed to always try to force them down, to make them fall silently into the night. He, most of all, faced this struggle against the world on a daily basis with his line of work, saw the evils of the world, saw the evils within himself, and in others.
Eventually, Keisuke by chance came upon the news of ritual to take place in Mifune City, a place only two hour's drive from where his sister lived. Deciding this was his chance to cement his sister's future for sure, to be able to leave his life as a freelancer once and for all if he was able to get that wish, Keisuke has made preparations to summon his servant and to get ready for the war to come. After all, if this was to be his "last hurrah", he could at least put in his best efforts, eh? Further, with the help of his own underground contacts in Japan, including the Yakuza, acquiring a firearm or two would not be a problem either in this case...
