@Burning Kitty While I still feel it's brief, I can live with that... though can you remove the mention of the Jedi Order? IT's a sketchy area of canon that probably doesn't even exist yet at this point. I mean special skills, she would have been picked up my someone anyway. After that all you need to do is re-read the rules for a specific purpose.
@LordLinguinie Hah, well you touch on some of S13 inadvertently then. Accepted.
So y'all, we got a reasonable cast going now. I feel ready to write up an opening post now, expect it tonight/tomorrow. I'll let you all post introductions and then play with the Galaxy to get things moving.
Equipment: Blue crystal lightsaber. Utility belt which includes underwater rebreather, grappling hook and pouches. Communicator. CloakShape fighter.
Skills:
Lightsaber Combat- Form V- Tez is skilled in lightsaber combat. However, he personally favours Shien style. Shien (Form V) specialises in reflecting blaster bolts back at assailants, which is useful in Hutt Space filled with blaster slinging criminals.
Force wielder- Trained in the ways of the force by his deceased master, Tez can use the force with precision rather than luck, able to use the Force Push, Pull, Jump and Mind Tricks among other techniques.
Intimidation- While not every battle has to be fought, Tez has learnt ways of dispelling a group of troublemakers with a little bit of physical force, no blood being shed. His imposing figure also helps in this regard, being tall and broad.
Flying- Tez discovered a starship that seemed to be abandoned for many generations. It was a wonder the thing still flew. However, Tez can pilot the ship and it's armaments quite well.
Weaknesses:
Seriousness- Even during down time, it's rare to see Tez relaxed. He's mind constantly racing on the next thing to do, the next gang to take down, the next person to save. It's hard for him to take a joke so he is often reserved and silent amongst more laid back individuals. This makes him quite hard to be around.
Incomplete training- Despite his skill of a Jedi being equivalent to that of a Knight, he is nowhere near the level of a Jedi master, and he may never attain that level due to the abrupt ending of teachings. Perhaps he may be able to ascend to the next level, but that remains to be seen.
Target- While some may not be familiar or may well have forgotten the tales of a Jedi, he's not seen wearing different attire and proudly displays his lightsaber. Despite this being a symbol and at the same time a warning, this doesn't deter particularly fiery combatants or imperials alike.
History: Tez was born in the Outer Rim, being parented by his lonesome mother as his father fled from the picture before he was born. Living conditions were poor and the surrounding area was almost lawless, only the good will of people being the only thing from keeping the village from devolving into warring tyrants. His childhood was hard, even though his toiling beside his mother in the field was voluntary, it was truly a difficult day-to-day upbringing. Tez received no proper education, however the village elder did her best to teach the younglings knowledge however no one was forced to sit and listen. Tez did have brief periods of enjoyment playing with his friends around the outskirts of the village. However, it was clear that Tez had... abilities.
Not knowing it at the time, Tez was discovering that he was indeed force-sensitive. He kept this secret from his mother and friends, believing that was something that they wouldn't know much about. However, revelations such as these cannot be hidden from those attuned to the force. It was lucky that it was not one aligned to the dark side of the force that discovered Tez. A wizened elder human approached the boy in the cave Tez experimented with his abilities. This man would become his master, seeing the potential of the young one, fortunately at the perfect age. The man had to prove he was not only no threat to the boy, but also one who understands. The man introduced himself and showed that he too possessed the abilities that Tez discovered. The man then told the young one his story. A story of the Knights of the Galaxy and the etheral entity known as the Force.
Tez wanted to discover more and was more than eager to learn under his Jedi Master. The old man had a hard negotiation with the boy's mother. In fact, they literally argued for over two days straight. However, eventually Tez's mother gave in, and allowed her only son to follow the path of a Jedi. Bidding farewell for the last time. His new master transported the pair to a nearby planet, devoid of civilisation, only bearing home to themselves and the law of the jungle. Over the next couple of decades, Tez was trained in the light side of the force, following the path of a Jedi fledgling.
Tez showed great aptitude to the moral teachings, the force lessons and combat. He passed all the required tests to becoming a Padawan, spending a few years with a Padawan braid as part of his hairstyle. It was also during this period that Tez discovered an abandoned starship. It was old, rusty and dated back to a time his Master remembered. Outside of lessons, Tez set to work trying to fix the old bucket, using what little books his master possessed on the engineering of such ships. Soon enough, the CloakShape was up and running. As his master already owned a ship, this was to become Tez's personal ship. This was furthermore dubbed the "Rim Skimmer".
After fixing the Rim Skimmer and constructed his lightsaber, he journeyed with his master across the Outer Rim. While his master said that the Order of Knights no longer existed together anymore, he could still provide a duty to the people of the Galaxy until a time of Union were upon the Jedi again. His master worked as a vigilante against the gangs of the Outer Rim, and this was also how Tez wanted to utilise his training. He wanted to visit his mother so badly, but his master solemnly warned against it. Confused and angry, Tez disobeyed his master and raced to his home planet. However, the village was razed and burnt. Charred, unrecognisable corpses littered the ground as the graffiti of a gang plastered the now desolate home. His master finally caught up to him, explaining why he withheld this information. Tez spat back in anger, until imperial ships descended into the atmosphere.
His master thumbed the activation button of his lightsaber, and Tez raised his hand to join alongside his master. However, his arm was lowered back as his master turned with a smile on his face, telling Tez that this was not his fight. With nothing else left, he followed the order to run and flee, heading back to the Rim Skimmer and beginning to take off. As he looked back, Tez watched as two shimmering red blades clashed with a single green one. However, the last image of his master was being viciously tortured and contorted using the darker powers of the force. With master and home slain, Tez vowed to right these wrongs, taking up the mantle his master left behind, and is currently hiding throughout the outer rim, waging his own righteous crusade against all the gangs and wrongdoers in the lawless sector. Although, he knows the difference between a violent gangster and some stumbling drunk Dug causing a ruckus in a Cantina because he lost a bad hand which he swears is rigged. Tez isn't deluded in this sense. His judgement is fair and just.
Faction: The Golden Exchange Equipment: DH-17 blaster pistol for personal defense, a slicing kit and the Rapier, a Star Courier that he got borrowed from Koren. Skills: Expert pilot, slicer, hand-to-hand combat. Weaknesses: Sometimes a bit too carefree, isn't too good with a blaster (probably even worse than a stormtrooper), his puns are tearable (like paper).
History: Born not long after the formation of the Galactic Empire somewhere in the Outer Rim, his parents fled with him from planet to planet, afraid of the Empire's new influence. Eventually, they found peace on Alderaan as help in one of the houses. Young Boqo, now used to not staying in one place for too long, had trouble fitting in. He didn't do his chores, got into a fight with a drunken dug with a gambling problem and it wasn't unknown for him to steal a small ship every now and then.
For Boqo, flying was the ultimate form of freedom. He started learning how the ships worked by copying others and when he 'borrowed' his first ship at the age of 13, his parents got fined for not only having their child steal a ship, but also for him breaking the in-atmosphere speeding limit with twice the allowed amount. So when he was flying in space with another stolen ship around his 19th year, it gave him much grief to see the planet suddenly blow up behind him.
He fled to Hutt space and got taken in by The Golden Exchange, seeking refuge. First he didn't fly in a long time out of sadness over losing his parents, but when other Alderaanians started talking to the crew about his piloting adventures, the crew aproached him to see if he was worth something. He got asked to be a courier for them, and he accepted. Ever since, he has been doing great work for The Golden Exchange, even to a point that Koren himself started noticing and lend him a Star Courier, which he nicknamed the Rapier. Now, 4 years after joining the crew, he was happy with his job, being able to fly all the time and having somewhere to go back to and call 'home'.
@Sep I've been withholding myself long enough. Might I make a Mandalorian Bounty Hunter working for the highest bidder? Someone who gives no shits on factions, unless a Mandalorian clan pops up?
Name: Zaheed Kast Species: Human - Mandalorian Age: 35
Physical Appearance
Standing in at 6'2, Zaheed has a large, athletic build, well suited to the rigors of combat. Underneath his armor, Zaheed's body and face are riddled with scars and healed wounds from the various missions and campaigns of his mercenary career. His body also sports numerous tattoos, some of which are traditional Mandalorian tattoos. Underneath his custom helmet, Zaheed's face is worn and rough, with short hair and a trimmed beard.
Faction:
still debating
Equipment:
Beskar'gam - Kast wears a highly customized suit of Mandalorian armor forged form beskar, or Mandalorian Iron. This high quality armor is both extremely durable and protective, and has served Kast well over the course of the last two decade. The armor itself is rather old, having been in the Kast clan for generations. As such, several parts have been modified, repaired, or even outright replaced with lesser materials, such as durasteel. While Kast's chestplate and gauntlets are made of Beskar, the helmet, shoulder plates, boots, and leg guards are primarily durasteel, though bits of beskar can still be found here and there. Unlike traditional Mandalorian helmets, Kast's new helmet replaces the sweeping edges of the typical Mandalorian helmet, with rounded surfaces. His armor's undersuit is made from armorweave, as is the cloak he wears. The Right forearm and gauntlet have cortosis plating supplementing the already durable beskar.
JT-12 Jetpack - A compact jetpack allowing for high amounts of mobility. It also features a MM9 Rocket System, which fires computer tracking micro concussion missiles.
Wrist Mounts - Kast makes extensive use of wrist mounted weapons, each of his wrist gauntlets possessing mounts for two pieces of equipment. Kast regularly changes these pieces out to fit the situation he is in. Weapons he often mounts are: Mini-flame throwers, grappling cables, Security/Hack tools, concussion missile launchers, wrist mounted blasters, poison dart launchers, whipcord launchers and retractable blades.
A180 Blaster Pistols - Kast carries a pair of highly customized A180 Blaster Pistols. Modified to fire high powered plasma bolts, Kast's A180's pack a large amount of power in a relatively small frame. Kast also keeps a kit to customize the pistol into a marksman rifle variant, but rarely uses it.
A280C Blaster Rifle - A marksman rifle favored by Kast, the A280 is a powerful, long ranged blaster rifle, used by the Rebellion and later the New Republic to penetrate the armor of stormtroopers. Easy enough to acquire and replace, pinpoint accurate, and deadly. The C variant features a collapsible stock, making it more easy to maneuver with.
Miscellaneous Equipment - As versatile as he is deadly, Kast carries a variety of gear with him, either in easy to reach pouches on a pack at the small of his back- out of the way of his jetpack, or hidden on his person. He carries a few thermal and sonic detonators, a field security overloader, a few blades, field rations, an emergency medical kit, a set of stun cuffs, and spare power cells.
Kast's HWK-290 Light Freighter - A light freighter designed by the Corellian Engineering Corporation. While small for a cargo ship, the HWK-290 is surprisingly fast, despite its age. Originally built without weapons, Kast has since modified his ship to sport a pair of medium laser cannons, mounted on a rotating turret on the underside of the ship. This ship serves as Kast's mobile operations center- his home away from home. A salvaged and modified OOM-series pilot battle droid operates and protects the ship while Kast is away.
Skills:
A Mandalorian, Kast has been extensively trained in the arts of war. Due to years of training, as well as several years as a mercenary and bounty hunter, Kast has developed a rather well rounded and versatile skillset. Kast is well versed in:
Mandalorian Combat Acumen - Mandalorians learn and make use of various methods of combat. From marksmanship to close quarters combat, martial skills and techniques integrating wrist mounted weapons and jetpack usage. Kast prefers to take his opponents from a distance with a rifle, but can be lethal in short to close range combat. He is knowledgeable regarding a variety of weapons, armors and materials.
Bounty Hunting - A bounty hunter and mercenary by trade, Kast is adept at tracking, and due to his propensity towards working alone, is well versed in stealth, espionage and guerrilla tactics. Torture and interrogation come in as tools of the trade, and the thought of a solemn, stone faced mandalorian hunting you down does wonders for intimidation and 'persuasion'.
Starship flight - A capable pilot. Though not an Ace by any means, Kast can hold his own in space surprisingly well, and is well versed with a variety of ships.
Weaknesses:
Aloof - Overly serious, cold, and emoting with all the grace of a dead fish, Kast has spent most of his adult life working with relatively little regular contact with others. Kast is untrusting and cautious, and does little to inspire the confidence of others.
Career Warrior - Having spent most of his life behind the sights of a rifle, a life of conflict is the only life Kast knows. Unaware or ignorant of galactic politics, and almost certainly unable to live in a galaxy without conflict.
Scarred - Mercenaries and Bounty Hunters tend to die young. When you've had as much prolific work and success as Kast, its only natural that you've garnered no small number of injuries. One particular injury has reduced the range of movement in Kast's left arm. Forcing the arm to move past its preferred range of movement is possible for short periods of time, but not advisable.
Personal History:
A rough and tough Mandalorian mercenary, Zaheed Kast was born and raised on Mandalore's moon, Concordia. Originally born as Zaheed Ara, Zaheed's parents were killed when he was young, and he was subsequently adopted and renamed Zaheed Kast by another Mandalorian family. Now the first and only son of the Kast family, Zaheed was well taken care of by his new family. Despite not being biologically related to his new family, they cared for him and treated him as their own. He began his first lessons with his adoptive mother at a very young age, learning the basics of warfare as well as other various lessons of importance.
When Zaheed turned 8, he was ready to accompany his father as he began his 5 years of survival and military training. During this time, he learned the majority of his combat and survival skills, from marksmanship, to tracking and hunting. The 5 years training with his father were difficult, grueling years. His father was caring, but very traditional and strict, and enforced upon Zaheed the highest of standards, reasoning that his son should be able surpass him when he got older. It was also during this time that the Mandalorian ideals of loyalty his family and clan, discipline, courage, and respect for his heritage was stressed and ingrained into his being.
Upon turning thirteen, Zaheed underwent the rite of passage known as the Verd'goten, where the skills he learned over the last five years were put to the test. The trial was a difficult, and harsh ritual, but due to his father's strict training, Zaheed passed with what was deemed exceptional skill, he was declared officially an adult in Mandalorian society. After completing the Verd'goten, Zaheed returned to his father, whom along with several clan elders would provide him with even more advanced training over the course of the next 5 years. During these five years of extra training, Zaheed was given a set of beskar'gam, armor forged from mandalorian iron from his family.
Upon turning 18, he left Mandalore with support from his family and began his career as a mercenary. His first bounty was hunting a Drunk Dug, whose Gambling Problem had gotten him into trouble with the wrong people. Within his first year of mercenary work, Kast had already underwent a series of close encounters and dangerous scrapes, including losing, and later retrieving his armor, as well as almost dying several times. During his first year as a mercenary, Kast had realized that the galaxy was a rather hostile, and cold place relatively devoid of honor. This first year shaped the rest of his mercenary career, as he made smarter choices, and trusted less people, and as a result complete more missions successfully and got into life threatening situations less often. During his long career, he would replace and eventually upgrade his helmet, as well as make augments to his armor as it sustained damage. Kast found himself in the employ of various groups- not all of them amicable to one another. At times he worked as an asset for the Galactic Empire, other times he was assassinating Imperial officials on the payroll of insurgent groups, or working with pirates and smugglers. He would find work with various rebel elements before the Galactic civil war began. Picking up a reputation as a dangerous, but dependable mercenary, capable of a variety of tasks, from killing to stealing data, Kast racked up an impressive track record of completed missions and became a go-to asset for many high profile companies and individuals.
During the Galactic civil war, Kast was a busy man. With no shortage of work, he found himself working for all manner of people. Kast found hismelf working often with the Rebellion, hitting targets of opportunity in Imperial space. Kast also found himself spending a lot of time in Hutt space, working with various factions when the infighting was at its most heated. Kast only rarely worked with the Empire at this point in time, as they tended to view non-regular military with suspicion. As the civil war drew to a close with the destruction of the Death Star, Kast found himself working less with the Rebellion- New Republic, and more with the various Hutt factions, as New Republic ideals and philosophies often worked against his own.
Now working in Hutt space, the 'wild west' of the Galaxy, Kast is looking to make his mark and his fortune in the lawless, objective rich sector.
“Why hello ladies. You need some help paying for those drinks?”
Name: Elias Joranis Ordo Species:Human/Mandalorian Age: 25 Appearance: Ruggedly handsome with a five o’clock shadow, crystal blue eyes and sweeping brown hair. He stands at 1.7 meters tall and weighs about 68kg. He typically wears tan pants, dark brown boots a dark red shirt and a lighter red jacket over it. He also wears his Mandalorian armor for when he knows there’s going to be a fight.
Faction: None/Freelance
Equipment:
Beskar’gam: While many Mandalorians wear the armor of those that came before, part of Elias’s proving of himself was to forge a suit of beskar’gam for himself, something that was neither quick nor easy. Having been forged from scratch, the armor takes on some of Elias’s personal preferences and is much more rounded than traditional Mandalorian armor. It’s helmet is outfitted with a full 360 degree viewing camera as well as infrared and magnetic sight modes and a built in long-range communications device. The left arm bears a wrist launcher and wrist mounted flamethrower.
JT-12 Jetpack-A compact jetpack allowing for high amounts of mobility. It also features a MM9 Rocket System, which Elias only uses in emergencies, as he’s typically paid to get the shipment to a location in one piece.
Wrist Mounted Weapons-Elias packs a single wrist launcher on his left wrist, which is armed with a rocket launcher, flame thrower, and dart launcher. He only uses knockout darts.
Black Nebula Heavy Blaster Pistols-Elias always carries his twin Black Nebula Heavy Blaster Pistols, no matter what he’s wearing. They’re heavily customized to allow for a quick draw and decent penetration, along with uncanny accuracy for dual wielding.
Vibrosword-Elias picked up how to fight with a vibrosword long before Clan Ordo adopted him and it’s his weapon of choice for close quarters combat, especially when faced with a lightsaber. It’s core is black when activated.
Various Equipment-On top of his stable pieces of gear, Elias carries a variety of other odds and ends in pouches on his belt, ranging from spare power packs, of which there are about twenty, to a couple of fragmentation grenades and cryoban grenades.
XS Light Freighter-While this particular model of ship, which is called the Nightengale Eclipse, is considered highly outdated, the previous owner, a Kel-Dor who lived far longer than he should have, kept it in tip-top shape and upgraded it as needed, making it one of the fastest ships in the galaxy. Elias has kept it in top condition as well and it even has room for extra crew should he ever want it.
Skills: Between being on the hyperspace lanes from a young age and being adopted into Clan Ordo of the Mandalorians, Elias has picked up a wealth of skills:
Mandalorian Training: Since joining Clan Ordo, Elias has learned numerous forms of both hand-to-hand combat and ranged combat, along with advanced training in sword combat. He was no slouch before, but now he’s a lethal weapon, armed or not.
Charismatic: Due to the nature of his original and current profession, Elias has learned how to speak with such a silver tongue, the people listening sometimes wonder if THEY’RE the ones lying or mistaken. It’s also helped pick up beautiful women and relieve the rich ones of their credits. All the same, this man can talk himself into and out of trouble in the same breath.
Ace Pilot: Having been in space for so long, flying a ship is something this smuggler can do with their eyes closed. He’s survived firefights with Imperial Star Destroyers and outmaneuvered entire squadrons of TIE fighters.
Quick Reflexes: Being a smuggler, sometimes negotiations go wrong. When this happens, it pays to be able to pull your own blaster faster than the other party and be able to find cover in a short time. Elias has mastered this to the point where he could probably do it in his sleep (not really but exaggeration is a smuggler’s tool).
Weaknesses:
Overconfident: Due to a number of things, namely how successful he’s been as a smuggler, Elias is overconfident and approaches every situation like he’s already won.
Anti-Slavery: Elias might be a smuggler, but even in Hutt Space, you find people with morals and this smuggler can’t stand slavery. As a result, there are a few less than satisfied customers who’ve put bounties on his head for the loss of Sentient Cargo.
Core World Accent: Despite spending years in the Mid-Rim, Outer Rim and Hutt Space, when Elias talks, it’s not hard to know where he’s from thanks to his accent.
Distrusting: Having been a smuggler since he was young, his capability to trust anyone who he doesn't know well is basically non-existent. The numerous double crosses he's had to deal with growing up hasn't helped any to fix this either.
History: Elias Joranis is the son of two no-name industrial workers on the planet of Coruscant, the famous “center of the galaxy”. What the people who advertise Coruscant as this wonderful place don’t tell everyone else is that if you live anywhere but near the top levels, life is hell. His parents worked long hours to and earned crap for money while their son was forced to live as a pickpocket and con artist to pick up the slack. However, he found that swindling the rich to provide for his family was not only fun, but it felt right. All the same, at age six, he felt a strange urge to find something more to do with his life, but his parents had no desire to help, content with where they were, a sentiment he could never agree with. And so he began to search for a way off Coruscant and into the wider galaxy.
He managed to achieve this dream at age eight with the help of a smuggler, a Kel-Dor named Zorn Horu, where he learned all the tricks of the trade, and learned how to understand Wookies, Jawas, argue with astromech droids who thought they knew better, and numerous other languages so he wouldn’t have to rely on a protocol droid for translation. By the time he was 16, Zorn had all but given ownership of the old XS Light Freighter, dubbed the Nightengale Eclipse, and helped the young man hone his natural skill for blaster pistols and piloting into things that would help him survive. However, about a month after his seventeenth birthday, an unhappy client put a bounty on Zorn’s head that a Drunk Dug came to collect on, claiming to need the credit payout to feed his Gambling Problem. The Dug had brought some hired help and though the pair escaped, it was without harm to them. Zorn had taken a shot to the gut and with his last words, passed on ownership of the Freighter to Elias.
The young man, heartbroken, buried the Kel-Dor on his homeworld before hitting the hyperspace lanes again, and for two years, buried his grief in jobs of all kinds, any drink he could afford, and every human and Twi’lek woman he could get his hands on. Before Zorn’s death, Elias had been sending chunks of his share of pay to his parents to help them improve their living conditions, though he had a hard time talking to them as they were still content on Coruscant, though they did have better jobs that were less likely to kill them now. But during that two year stint of grief over the loss of a man who had been more of a father to Elias than his blood father, he didn’t sent as much and they almost lost their home because of it. The young smuggler managed to snap back to reality shortly after his nineteenth birthday and three weeks later, met Eldor Ordo, a member of the Mandalorian Clan Ordo. He spent time speaking with the man at length, learning more about the Mandalorians and, after some internal debate a couple of drinks, he asked to join the clan. Eldor took him to the Clan Leader and spent the next six months preparing to join. He succeeded and has been a member of Clan Ordo since, proudly displaying the clan emblem on the shoulder of his jacket and the chest, shoulder, and vambraces of his armor.
During the course of the Galactic Civil War, Elias found he did plenty of work for all involved parties, though the Rebels often paid the best as they were more in need of his unique services than the Empire. The Hutts paid well as well, but the cargo was often much more unscrupulous and require more careful planning. With the end of the war came new opportunities, and while the New Republic certainly had a bright outlook for the future, a better understanding of the galaxy at large had Elias remaining freelance and picking up more work for various clients in Hutt space, despite the Hutt Civil War and the shift in leadership within the Council.
Again I'd like another potential weakness, as while his accent can be a disadvantage it's less of an issue in Hutt Space than it would be in say, the outer rim. In terms of your ship either it's entire systems will have been gutted and replaced, including the actual engines, or it'll be a hell of a mess inside in order to make it as fast as it is. If it's the latter you also run the risk of unreliability. However I can take the whole 'one of the fastest ships around' if it's basically just the XS Chassis with the old outdated stuff ripped out and new stuff on top.
I don't have an issue with his Mandalorian 'adoption' though it's only been two years so you might wanna stress that in his abilities as he's not a full blooded Mandalorian. SO he's much more 'background character in rebels or TCW' than 'named character who kicks five different kinds of ass' in terms of his Mandalorian abilities.
Name:Jacsen Orro Species:Human Age:44 Appearance: Faction:Leader of the Ulmatra Sector Galactic Empire Remnant. Equipment:Datapad, and a DH-17 Blaster Pistol Skills: Tactician:Jacsen spent a good portion of his life in command. First as a officer in the Republics Navy, then as a moff within Palpatine's Empire. Politics:Time spent as a moff meant that Jacsen was good at the game of politics. He would often spend time with the hutts, but not only that also spend time out maneuvering the other moffs vying for his position. Charisma:This man has been a great open handed leader. Inspiring such loyalty in his troops that most would rather die than betray him. Piloting:Jacsen spent a long amount of hours in the cockpit of a fighter, wanting to be the kind of leader who could also lead from the front but also not being much in the way of physicality he instead leads sorties when he feels up to it. Weaknesses: Physically Inept:Jacsen barely made it through physical training so in the way of things he isn't much in the way of physical prowess instead letting his subordinates do the fighting. Bad Shot:Once again barely making it through training, Jacsen isn't much in the way of shooting some say he couldn't hit the broadside of a Star Destroyer with a blaster. Self-Doubt:The man doubts himself quite a bit. First he wishes to be the kind of a leader who could stand side by side with his troops but lacks the abilities to do so, and also in other decisions.
History:Born to a senator and his wife Jacsen had a rich upbringing with everything he could ever need, the boy never went without what he wanted. Not until his mother died in child birth along with her child, Jacsen was young when this happened so he didn't remember much with the exception of his father throwing himself into his work and leaving him with the twilek maid who took care of him. In his teenage years his father eventually remarried and at this Jacsen lashed out. His step mother won the day however by convincing his father to send him to a academy within the Republic.
It was at this academy where Jacsen begun to pick up his skills as a leader. First by being a squadron leader in drills and simulations, second by his interactions with his fellow students. Noticing this his superiors saw some potential in the child and recommended him for naval command upon graduation. After his life at the academy Jacsen was given the command of his first ship a consular class for escort of senate personnel, it was a cozy albeit boring part of his life but that all changed with the oncoming of the clone wars.
Taken from his cozy position he was put in charge of a Venerator class star destroy it was from the bridge of this ship that he spent most of the war. Going from system to system, battle to battle. Jacsen proved himself eventually at a key battle near Sullust where the republic fleet engaged with the separatists, there he gave a strategy to corner a separatist battle group against a asteroid field to prevent escape. With that in place they managed to take a fair number of ships off the board. It was thanks to this action that Jacsen was rewarded for his bravery and hindsight and promoted to admiral.
He spent the rest of the war with the republic navy. Watching as they won and lost battles, made new friends and allies, and finally watching as that all went up in flames with the fall of the jedi. With the republic gone, and the jedi on the run. Jacsen made the right choice and joined the empire. He continued to serve the empire with distinction and for his service he earned a shiny new ship in his first imperial class star destroyer, and a shiny new title with his promotion to moff thanks to his fathers influence. This brought a whole new set of skills upon Jacsen. First he was quite good at playing the politician with his fellow moffs and shortly after that the hutts, second he became quite the commander giving orders to his commanders and generals. With their help he managed to keep the Ulmatra sector that was assigned to him secure, and even managed to keep it's nose clean for inspections.
All of that changed with the death of Jabba the hutt, and the emperor. First the criminal section of Ulmatra went haywire causing all sorts of trouble which he needed to put down particularly a drunk dug who managed to give the garrison quite the headache, but after that with the death of Palpatine it threw a wrench into military actions. Orders came sparingly and when they did they were indecisive, but with little choice he listened even offering a spot for any who were fleeing the encroachment of the New Republic. Which firmly established him as a player within the imperial remnant.
For anyone who doesn't like openings, I have plans for most of you in stuff to do once you do your opening posts. If you want me to throw you a bone, lemme know.
Again I'd like another potential weakness, as while his accent can be a disadvantage it's less of an issue in Hutt Space than it would be in say, the outer rim. OK, so some clarification. Elias is 25, he joined the Mandalorian Clan Ordo at 19-20, meaning he's been with the clan a minimum of five years. However, he spent much of that time getting enough Beskar to make his armor. I mean, that said, he's still more smuggler/gun slinger than Mando at this point anyways. He's just not going to be a push over if you get his blasters and sword, both of which he was already good with, out of his hands. And I'll see what I can do about another weakness now that I've had some sleep XD
“Why hello ladies. You need some help paying for those drinks?”

Luguist: Due to the nature of smuggling, he speaks and understands a number of different languages, but is still learning how to speak Mandalorian, so he's not the most fluent at it.
