Blammo!
Name: Alexia "Alex" Chevotet
Age: 17
Appearance:
Power: Platinum Mimicry- Alex's body is composed of what is essentially living platinum. In her default form this gives her a solid metallic, silver color that can be visually comparable to the T-1000 in Terminator 2, though she can reflexively take on a normal appearance when not actively using her powers. Physically, she has all of the abilities implied by being made of metal, including enhanced strength, durability, resistance to intense heat and electricity, and even malleability to a certain extent, although at this stage in her development changing and twisting her form is at best uncomfortable and at worst physically painful.
Background: Born and raised in DC, Alex was the only child of a single mother who worked as a secretary to an important French diplomat who, as Alex later found out, was also her illegitimate father via the affair the two were secretly having. No doubt thanks to a regular payment of hush money from the diplomat, Alex had the promise of the comfortable if uneventful life of an A- student and archeology dweeb ahead of her. At least until she was twelve and was walking home from her favorite museum when a drunk driver swerved onto the sidewalk and plowed right into her.
What would have been a tragedy turned into a curiosity when the police arrived and found Alex apparently coated in a metallic substance, stunned but alive and having done more damage to the car then it did to her. After some extensive research the true nature of her powers were discovered and Alex was quietly pulled into home schooling, often only leaving the house to prowl around museums and parks. Due to some prodding by a certain diplomat, however, Alex soon found herself headed back to school, specifically to a school specially built for people with abilities like hers. Quirky, headstrong, and curious almost to a fault, Safe Haven will be anything but with people like her around.
