Adam would be sound asleep, having been really tired from the heart attack he had sustained yesterday and he ended up sleeping in. As the alarm sounded he practically jumped and fell out of his bed with a thump.
"Ow! Did they have to make it that loud? Man, I was having such a good dream too..."
He would get dressed in his school uniform before exiting his room, noticing Sora, Kiyoshi, Mycel and Koharu all walking into the school so he lazily followed. During breakfast he sat away from everyone else. He didn't feel like talking right now, especially after his heart attack yesterday, he was still a little distraught about that. After breakfast, he went to the homeroom with everyone else. He wasn't surprised that Celia was there again but that was just because he was too tired to care.
He followed Celia and everyone else as they made it to the locker rooms again but was confused when some of the other opened their lockers and were surprised. He didn't see what they were excited about, so he just shrugged and went to open his. What he saw in his locker when he opened it knocked the sleepiness right out of him and he grabbed the clothes and mask in his hands.
"Hell yeah! We got costumes! This is so epic!"
After the wave of excitement had faded he went into the change rooms to change to his new attire and waited by Celia.
Despite the noise produced by the alarm Edith somehow managed to sleep through it, only waking up when her body decided that it was nearing the all important time to eat. After helping herself to a copious portion of food Edith, still blood soaked from her night terrors, Edith went to clean herself of the blood she'd managed to drench herself in during the night.
Sopping off at her locker on the way to the showers, hoping to find something clannish to wear, and after spending a good minuet wrestling with it, Edith beamed when she discovered its contents.
"Hehehe... this place keeps on getting better!"
Having forgotten entirely about the fact she was covered in blood and intended to have a shower, Edith striped and changed on the spot, giggling madly to herself all the while. Her costume wasn't all that special in reality, infarct it was rather similar to her uniform, a simple skirt and blazer, though both far darker and with a number of rather vicious looking flourishes. Inside the suit Edith found a number of blood bags position strategically and concealed around her body all connected by a complex vain like network of flexible tubing, and she hadn't even requested that second one.
Finally dressed, a mad grin spread ear to ear across Edith's face, throwing her arms wide and spinning as her giggling escalated into hysterical cackling, a look only made more terrifying by her new apparel and the blood stains over her body.
Charles felt today was strange as he got up in the morning, having just laid in his bed after he had removed his excess size the night before before heading to bed. He didn't really sleep again, he had just stared at his surroundings. He went down to the kitchen and got some breakfast as normal cooking up a lot him self. After eating he went to class and noticed the teacher change, he thought only added to how strange it was so he could only shrug and wait for the others.
After the others arrived they was lead off to the changing rooms, Charles could only raise his brow at this and shrug as he entered the locker room even though he never needed to. He opened his locker to find the masks he chosen for his costume which he raised a brow to "done already hu.." he spoke to himself before taking them and putting on one he liked.
He then thought simply having his school uniform on as well seemed bit lack luster so he decided to also change his outfit at least visually since it was all part of himself. After his clothes changes (to the same has his appearance image) he would chuckle to himself as he headed out to rejoin the others waiting for what the would be doing.
Noru woke up with a groan. What was this military school? The siren was a massive headache, just who on earth came up with it. He would love to sock the sadistic bastard in the face. Noru did his normal routine, it helped that he had a better energy intake than most people. Noru got out of his room and downstairs to eat. This time he decided to eat as much as a normal person hoping it was going to be a class actually containing something that resembles hero work. Though the fact that Edith was eating covered in blood made him almost lose his appetite. As such he was pleasantly surprised when Celica was the one to start off and tell them to get themselves to the locker rooms immediately.
In his locker the dark haired teenager found his designed costume along with a typed out note in his locker.
'Mr. Nanbu we couldn't get the access to the database for you, so we installed night vision into the mask instead. There's a hidden switch in the side of the mask in which you can activate it. Sorry for the inconvenience.'
Oh well he thought to himself, he had known that he wouldn't have gotten access since he was just a student, so it was no skin off his back though the night vision was pretty good. Noru changed into to his costume. Just as he said a vest, a trench coat, and a mask. Just as he described though there was just one problem, he forgot to specify color! The suit like trench coat was jet black and his pants were also black, the vest was a dark grey and the mask was bone white, the only color was on the gloves which was a crimson red. The color scheme was stylish he admitted, but he wanted it to be in brighter colors. He wasn't going for an antihero look! Well, if it was any consolation he rocked it pretty well.
He checked out what gear he had and the ranged weapon that he was given was a series of playing cards, that were actually metal shurikens, considering his experience as a magician's son these would be quite handy as he could translate throwing regular cards into metal cards quite well. He was also given quite a few types of non lethal 'grenades', and some basic survival gear. He did remember asking for a utility belt so he guess that they were considerate enough to provide him with what he needed to load it up.
Noru put into his utility belt the deck of card shurikens, two flashbangs, three cryogrenades, his homemade smoke bomb, a rope with a hook, his personal set of lock picks and three bug ambers. Specifically the cockroach, Hercules beetle, and grasshopper ambers as they were his most commonly copied abilities. Noru closed his locker and left out of the locker room, the breeze lifting the loose fabric of his coat into the air in which it flowed behind him which reminded him of why he originally wanted a cape, loose cloth flowing in the wind was always cool.
Noru readjusted his glove and put on his Cheshire grin, before walking to the others.
Celia looked between everyone as they all donned their costumes. She always loved this part, all the students getting into their hero pajamas and getting super excited. She kind of felt bad that she was bout to tell them to fight one another, but it had to be done. It was a great way for getting the students to appreciate each others quirks. And weed out any one who didn't mix well.
"I hope you are all enjoying you costumes, they are your fist step to building your image. But they do get damaged and need repairs every now and then, so don't feel bad if they get roughed up a little today. Oh yeah I almost forgot. You'll be competing in team exercises today!"
Celia would then beckon the students to follow her to one of the combat zones, this one was a heavily residential one filled with housing and a few large apartment buildings. Only thing that made it look different from the residential areas in the city was the lack of cars. Once they got to the viewing room Celia would stop everyone and look between them.
"Alright everyone, this is were we'll be hosting today's events! I hope you all like saving people! Or holding them hostage, whatever you end up getting assigned to... Now, the way this is going to go is rather simple. You'll all be split in to teams of two, then assigned a role for this exerciser. Heroes or villains. Now as a hero your job is to get past the villains and rescue the hostages, and as a villain your jobs is to protect your hostages until the timer runs out. Now there are only five hostages in play, and the way to be crowned the winner is to have the most hostages. Under no circumstances are the hostages be destroyed or heavily damaged, if they are both teams lose, got it!? Good. Hmm, you guys are gunna have to give me a minute to figure out the teams, just ahhh. Talk to each other or something."
Celia would then scratch her head and skim over all the students as she thought of the teams.
Adam was waiting by the teacher while everyone else was getting changed into their costumes. Once everyone was ready, he followed the teacher to the combat zone. He looked around and observed the place. He would be standing next to Sora. He wasn't paying attention and still looking around at everything. He would listen to what Celia was saying and was kind of surprised he and all the other students would be doing something like this so soon.
"Hostage rescue with a Hero and Villain team. So, this is where we will be fighting? This is awesome! Let's get going! Wait, what are the teams again?"
He would be slightly confused as he looked around at everyone else, wondering who he wanted on his team.
Edith? No, too crazy... Oh, how about Kiyoshi? He'd be good. Yeah, or maybe the guy who could copy quirks. What his his name again? Oh, nevermind, he'll be an awesome team mate. I wonder who I'll get? Hmmm...
He would be thinking to himself, trying to come up with the best team. To anyone else, he would just be staring off into space.
"We don't know what the teams are yet," answered Sora, looking over to Adam. She too wondered who she'd be teamed up with, and what their alignment would be. They'd just have to see. She didn't really mind either way. She just hoped that she wasn't paired with Edith. Now she was definitely going to be designated 'villain'.
Celia continued glancing over the class trying to decide on what the first two teams would be, she really should have done the first pair beforehand. But alas she'd started a class unprepared again, but hey that's just how Celia worked. She let out a sigh and just picked random kids for the first set, not taking into account powers or comparability. "Ok, first teams! Uhhh, Kiyoshi and Mycel! You two are the heroes of this fight. And you'll be fighting... Sora and Edith! Hope you girls got a little villain in you!" She was only really meaning that towards Sora, you could see the villain in Edith. It was practically bleeding out of her.
"Alright you four. Go to the starting points for your assigned teams, and then wait for the signal to start. Everyone else get into the seats just over there and enjoy the show!" Celia's tail was wagging with excitement, she loved watching students face off. Reminded her of her occasional sparring matches with other heroes.
The two pairs would go to their assigned ends of the arena being given some time to prep for their fight. The Villains would have to decide where they would stash the hostages and what kind of defence they would put up. Meanwhile the Heroes would have to think up a battle plan and figure out a safe way to retrieve the hostages.
----
Sora was watching her partner Edith very carefully. Of course she’d be paired with the only student she didn’t want to be paired with. Of course. “So,” Sora started to asked the crazy smiling lunatic, “Any ideas or plans?”
---
Edith frowned for a moment when she was chosen as a villain, hoping she wasn’t just chosen as one because of her parents and what not. Shaking her head Edith lets her mind refill with its usual chaotic chatering, drowning out the thoughts as her grin returned. Hearing sora speck up Edith looked over to Sora, she didn’t exactly know the extent of her powers, but the wings and horns where really cool and had to count for something.
“Umm… how powerful are your wings? Could you maybe carry the hostages?”
Edith’s mind raced, she was pretty sure she could remember her parents telling her about a game they played very similar to this on a few occasions, and she was desperately trying to recall how it was they had won.
“Ahh, daddy said that to win this game we have to use our quirks to give us the advantage, and to hurt the… but if we can use our quirks to get the hostages up high, then we will win right?”
----
Sora blinked. That...was actually a good plan! The sheep girl then told Edith as much, before adding “I didn’t take you for a strategist, no offense. I’ll fly these hostages up, then they’ll have to climb the stairs of this building to get to them, giving us plenty of chances to hold them off on the stairwell!”
Smiling, the winged sheep girl grabbed all the hostage dummies and flew them up to the roof of the building, placing them in ways she’d seen hostages on rooftops in movies; posing them so that they were all kneeling with their hands on their heads. She then hovered back down to earth, landing in a somewhat dramatic manner, and grinning slyly at Edith. It seemed Sora was starting to get into the villain role.
“And now we wait, it seems.”
----
Mycel scratched his head. He wasn’t the best when it came to saving hostages-he was the type who’d concentrate on the fight. He turned to his partner, Kiyoshi. Quite a performance he put back at the gym yesterday- knocking out a teacher. He hoped they could knock out the two and get an easy win. But that wasn’t an easy option. Mycel tapped his chin as he thought of any plan if he could. They could use the old distraction tactic- Mycel and his army of mold swarming at the two while Kiyoshi either got rid of them or searched for the hostages. “Got any plan, big guy?” Mycel said, turning to Kiyoshi.
----
Kiyoshi frowned. “None at the moment...Any chance you can see through the eyes of your mold?” He stroked his chin. “Then again, we could always divide and conquer.” He quickly sunk into the realm of his own mind. They’ll no doubt be defending the hostages but the question is will they send someone to ambush us or will they stay in place. “I think our best course of action here is to stick together. I’ll watch our front, you watch our backs. Hopefully we can reach the hostages and secure a win. If we get attacked at any point in time, you are to break off and continue towards the hostages and I will keep them occupied. It’ll be difficult, but I’m sure we can find some way to make it work.” He looked at the building. “Showtime.”
----
Edith grin only widened at Sora’s praise. Remembering her father's ‘lessons’ Edith gave a moments thought to her opponents quirks.
“Umm… I think Mycel can make things out of himself, more Mycel’s and stuff. But I think we can just stab those til’ they stop moving… how do we deal with the sleepy guy though? I’m not ready for bed yet.”
Edith made a show of making exaggerated stabbing and sleeping gestures amongst others while she spoke as if to emphasize her point.
----
Sora nodded. “Kiyoshi? He won’t be able to put to sleep what he can’t reach,” the sheep girl answered, grinning and gesturing to her wings. “Leave him to me. I’ll fight him out here, where I have more space and can keep my distance. You’d be better off fighting Mycel inside the building, on the stairway, where there’s less room to use his quirk to its full potential and you have the advantage.”
----
“Okay, that sounds fun!”
Edith pauses, thinking about their plan and hyping herself up for the battle ahead. Edith was glad to have a partner smart enough to formulate a strategy with her more effective than hitting the enemy until they surrender.
“You’re really smart Sora. I like you.”
----
Celia’s voice came on over a speaker system all around the arena. “Now that everything is all ready to roll. I’ll run over the rules again. Firstly, there is a thirty minute time limit whoever has the most hostages at that point will win, if the heroes can get them all before then, they win. Secondly, keep the hostages alive, if any get broken and you both lose. Also, your aim is to incapacitate the other team, not kill them. So avoid majorly injuring your opponents to avoid disqualification. Lastly, have fun. Begin!”
After the speaker crackled off some horns sounded signalling the start of the exercise.
----
Sora smiled back at Edith. Maybe the crazy blood girl wasn’t so bad after all. Maybe they could be friends. At that moment, The teacher’s voice was heard through the speakers, and a horn announced that it had begun. Sora’s face immediately turned serious and she pointed to the doorway.
“It’s time to start this thing, so let’s get into positions. Edith, go and wait on the stairwell. I’ll join you if I have to fall back or if Kiyoshi gets inside. Until then. I’ll stay out here. Good luck.”
----
Kiyoshi looked to Mycel. “Alright. Move in.” He stepped towards the entrance, warily looking in with his hands extended.
----
Mycel grinned as he followed Kiyoshi. This will be one of those days he’s waited for. A section of his arm started to grow, something like a tumor popping out of the opening on his costume. Mycel lazily popped it with his finger. Mold sprayed around them, the spores in the air. The spores traveled past them and into the building, traveling in the air as some fell to the floor and started growing. “Surveying for hostiles.” Mycel muttered.
----
As the two got closer, they’d see, hovering in midair, a winged, horned figure in the sky. It was Sora, but without her uniform, glasses or bell, she didn’t look as cute. She actually looked striking and intimidating, in that dress, with her tattoo visible, in a pose not dissimilar to a devil.
“Fufufufufu…” she cackled, with the back of her hand against her opposite cheek, as she slowly descended to Earth. All the scene needed was dramatic organ music. “You two will go no further!”
---
Edith hearing Sora’s plan Edith sprinted into the building, stopping at the stairs. Careful not to spill Edith dipped jar finger into one of the blood bags on her suit, rapidly assuming control of the blood inside and distributing it across the concealed vein like webbing throughout her suit.
With that done Edith sat herself on the banister and began gently rocking back and forth, humming to herself.
----
Mycel slapped his cheeks with his hands, expressing his exaggerated, and obviously fake, astonishment as he saw Sora hover in the air with a cliche anime evil cackle. Obviously she put a lot of effort into her costume to make her look intimidating, but in Mycel’s opinion… Yeah, a bit scary. He’d give her that. “Oh, no, we can’t go any further?” He said, and scratched his chin, his head unnecessarily turning around as if scanning for a way out of this situation. Then, he raised a finger, and let out a loud ‘aha!’ out of his mouth. “Well, I guess it’s time to MAKE A NEW DOOR!” Mycel yelled as he plucked his left hand out of its place. It balled up into a lump of mold as he threw it past Sora towards the building.
---
What Kiyoshi would find strange would be Sora make absolutely no move to intercept him. And Edith was nowhere to be seen. The villains were trying to split them up! Sora never had any intention of fighting them both alone! The winged sheep girl would hover close to the ground in front of Kiyoshi, and grin. “Sorry, but you won’t be joining your friend inside,” she stated.
---
Kiyoshi stroked his chin under his mask as it all played out. “Wait...Mycel, NO!” When Sora told him he wouldn’t be entering he paused, getting into a fighting stance. “We’ll see.” He made a move as if to turn around, then lunged for Sora, focusing power into his hands. “Night night, little sheep.” He wanted to dispatch Sora as soon as possible. Mycel would inevitably be dealing with Edith, and...well Mycel could use some assistance. Kiyoshi had no idea the extent of Edith’s combat ability, but he imagined she would be a challenge.
---
Sora had never been in a real fight before, but her father had given her a little bit of training. It was enough to give her the edge against people who relied on their quirks alone. When Kiyoshi charged at her, she flew back up into the sky, out of his reach, before flapping her wings and sending down a shower of loose feathers. Unlike her father’s, her wing feathers weren’t strong or sharp enough to be weapons. In fact, they were ordinary feathers. But they tickled!
---
“Heh, that’s gonna be a fight.” Mycel muttered as he ran past Sora and Kiyoshi, who were in the middle of a fight. He’d love to fight the winged girl himself, but they couldn’t spend the whole day fighting. They had hostages-or hostage props- to rescue. Also Edith was waiting inside the building. The mold, which used to be his left hand, took lead of Mycel and crawled around the building’s interior. “Come out, come out, wherever you are!” Mycel shouted.
---
Edith lets the blood in her costumes veining flow out of her sleeves, forcing the red liquid to twist itself around each of her hands, and form into a pair of surprisingly sharp looking blades. She giggles a little when she hears Mycel calling, and takes a moment to let Mycel notice her sitting on the banister above.
“Hello Mycel. I think I’m gonna fight you now.”
Content with her introduction, Edith drops down from the banister, ignoring the shooting pain in her legs upon impact and swaying wildly as she regains her footing. Brandishing her blood blades menacingly, Edith’s already wide grin practically spreads to her ears, and her eyes go wide.
“This is going to be the greatest!”
---
Mycel turned to the source of the voice as he heard Edith speak to him. He tilted his head to the side as Edith jumped down, her bloody weapons shining threateningly at the boy. Unfortunately, it failed to strike fear into the boy’s mind. It rather thrilled him. “Greatest... isn’t really the right word.” Mycel said, tapping his chin. He stretched out his left arm, calling back the lump of mold that was creeping in circles in front of Edith. As the lump returned to its rightful position and became his left hand once more, Mycel clapped his hands against each other and rubbed them. “I’d prefer the term.... ‘legendary’.” He said, and gestured Edith to make the first move.
---
Kiyoshi looked at Sora in the air, sending a quick glance at the door. “Sorry little sheep. I don’t have time for games.” He sprinted towards the entrance, praying his speed could negate her flying ability. His best course of action was to join Mycel. From what he could guess, Sora wouldn’t be able to fly as well if she was inside. He ran as fast as he could, hoping he could help his friend.
---
Unfortunately, Sora could fly faster than he could run, and instead of trying to cut him off, aimed straight at his back, and tackled him to the ground, quickly getting up so she couldn’t reach over his shoulders and grab her. Only once he was down, she circled him so she was once again between him and the building.
---
The impact against the ground was much harder than Kiyoshi had originally thought it would have been, and he tasted blood. He got up. “Little sheep’s a coward, huh?” He spit saliva tinged pink with blood. “Why don’t you come down and fight me? Let’s see who’s really better. No powers, nothing. Just fists.”
---
Sora responded with another ‘evil laugh’ from the safety of a few feet out of his reach. She knew this couldn’t go on. There were no ways to subdue him or impede his progress that didn’t involve close contact. If he touched her, she was knocked out. Knocked out...Sora had an idea.
“Do you really take me for a fool? The slightest skin to skin contact and I get put to sleep! Though, I can’t take that coward comment lying down. Very well.” she replied, setting herself back on the ground. “Come at me.”
She just hoped that he didn’t know how to fight, and that him touching her wing feathers wouldn’t put her to sleep. Otherwise this would be a very short fight.
---
Edith's grin somehow managed to get wider as Mycel proclaimed the battle would be legendary, beginning to whisper a chant to herself, gradually working it's way up in speed and excitement until it's nothing more than incoherent gibberish.
Edith ends her chant with a overjoyed yelp as she surges forward, wildly swinging her crimson weaponry towards Mycel’s abdomen.
---
“So you wanna see how much muscles I’ve got, huh?” Mycel said. His head started working as Edith charged at him. His quirk couldn’t make sharp and hard stuff like Edith, but it could help him grow on everywhere. And, of course, ignore lots of attacks that could be fatal to most and all normal human beings. As Edith’s weapons charged for Mycel’s abdomen, Mycel showed no move to get out of the way. Instead of dodging or blocking, he let the weapon sink in deep, the section of his body turning into mold. The mold gathered up to once again form muscle-like strands, as an attempt to fix Edith’s weapons and her arms in place.
---
For a moment as her arms began to sink into Mycel Edith panicked, thinking she might have just killed her friend, the moment his torso tightening around her hands and weapons however Edith began to grasp just how durable her foe was.
“Hehehehehe… If I kill you will you die!?”
Already Edith was hardly listening as she summoned more blood from he costume, trying to force it into Mycel like a razor sharp root system.
---
“Hmmm, hmmm, HMMMMMM!” A wide grin spread over Mycel’s face. He turned his entire face into mold, his grin disappearing into a hardly intelligible outline of mold as Edith spread the blood across his body. The mold arms moved ‘around’ the root that held what used to be Mycel’s arm, breaking free from them. Edith’s arms still held tight, Mycel flinged his mold fists at her.
---
Kiyoshi grinned under his mask. Hand to hand combat was his speciality, and he had forgotten no one knew that simple fact. He ran at Sora, feinting at her face, changing his course at the last second, his fist heading for her gut. He was silent. During combat, he stayed focused and calm.
---
Sora admittedly hadn’t been expecting the feint, and at the last second, dug her heels in, pulled back, and shielded herself with her wings Luckily, her low punch wouldn’t be hitting any of the wing membranes, only the feathers. Which when still attached to the wing in the pattern that they were, would be like punching a very soft kevlar vest. The wings opened up, suddenly revealing that Sora was lunging at Kiyoshi horns-first.
---
Kiyoshi cursed as he missed his attack. When the wings opened up, he smiled. Kiyoshi, seeing an opening, surged all of his power as he lunged back at Sora. If this didn’t knock her out, he didn’t know what would.
---
The good news was that Kiyoshi managed to make contact, grabbing Sora’s bare arm, and the power of his work passed into her, but Sora didn’t stop. Her horns were coming straight at Kiyoshi’s face. The last thing he’d remember noticing before those incredibly tough horns connected with his forehead, would be seeing Sora’s face. She was already put under a calm serene sleep. Her face was relaxed, and she looked kinda cute…
---
Edith cackled, completely ignoring the appendage flying her way letting it hit her and hoping for the best as she began to constrict her creation around Mycel's body.
“Die, die, die, die, die, die, die, die…”
Edith closed her eyes, starting to pump her remaining blood in her costumes as well as her own into a cocoon around Mycel, and trying to ignore her encroaching fatigue and rapidly dimming vision.
---
The mold arms continued hitting Edith, eventually slowing down as Edith continued pumping blood inside the giant lump of mold, also known as Mycel. His whole body turned into mold, Mycel could feel the amount of blood under Edith’s control inside his ‘body’. It seemed a bit too much-and Edith, evidently, wasn’t doing too good. A section of mold jumped off the cluster and created a small humanoid form on its own. It’s insides started gaining detail, soon getting its own vocal cords good enough for Mycel to speak through. “Come on, there’s more than just that.” He taunted.
---
Edith's body was shaking badly and she could hardly tell if her eyes were opened or closed by this point. Just as she was going to give Mycel's taunts reached her ears, egging her on to pump even more of her blood into Mycel, by this point completely unaware of any logic or strategy and just blindly trying to tear him apart from the inside out.
“I’m going to…”
As one final wave of nauseating dizziness hit her, the lack of oxygen to her brain finally pulled her into unconscious.
---
Mycel slowly pulled his mold body away from Edith’s blood structure that’s been holding it in place. He rebuilt himself, his partially tattered costume fitting around the mold cluster as he soon recovered his human form. Flexing his arms, Mycel lowered himself to take a closer look at Edith. “Knock knock? You in there?” Mycel said, poking the girl on the cheek.
---
The speakers crackled as Celia’s voice rang out over the whole arena, ”Alright it looks like the heroes win by knockout! Now someone get the nurses out there.” Celia would slither back into the viewing room with the students and looked around. ”Well wasn’t that an exciting match? Well after lunch we’ll have another one, but this time it will be Noru and Adam against Koharu and Charles. That one should be very interesting. But for now, it’s off to lunch with you, the others need some time to recover anyway.” With that Celia would wave off the students before heading out into the arena to check up on Edith and Kiyoshi. She felt like Sora and Mycel were fine, tho Sora and Kiyoshi were a little tangled.
Adam saw Celia enter the room and explain that everyone will be having lunch before the next fight, and that the next fight will be involving him. Neat. He looked around the room and have a look at his future opponents before making his way over to Noru.
"Hey, what's up? I guess we're teamin' up for this next fight. How do you think we'll do?"
Adam seemed pretty confident and for the most part, he was. He was mainly worried about his lack of knowledge of Charles and how his quirk works. Hopefully, he wouldn't have to fight slimey during the next fight.
"To be honest you're going to have the hardest time here, both Charles and Koharu are resistant against physical attacks."
Noru snapped his fingers after saying that. Pointing out that unlike himself Adam doesn't have a way of offensively overpowering the other team due to their Quirks. Noru wrapped his arm around Adam and whispered.
"Want me to lend you some Cryogrenades? Or are you cool?"
The trickster said channeling the spirit of an Arms dealer. It was better if both members of the team had something to deal with the enemy.
"Yeah, I didn't think about that. This is gonna be tough."
Adam was standing there, thinking of different strategies when Noru mentioned something about Cryogrenades.
"I don't know if I wanna do that, man. I'm not sure about the rules of this fight but isn't that cheating? I don't want disqualify our team accidentally or something. I'll pass."
He would continue to think up strategies on how to deal with his future opponents, with no luck. He looked over at Koharu and Charles. He had barely any knowledge about the two and he didn't know what to expect. Man, this is gonna be one hell of a fight.
Sora awoke, actually feeling refreshed, but not quite remembering where she was. She looked around, trying to figure it out, before realising that she was on top of Kiyoshi. She blushed and sat bolt upright as she frantically tried to recall what had happened. What had she done?! What had HE done?!
She remembered the heroes vs villains exercise. She remembered that she was going to charge him, but instead of blocking, he'd tried to grab her. He must have used his sleep touch on her whilst she was running toward him horn-first, and the bruise on his forehead confirmed that. That was a silly thing to do, putting to sleep a horned girl running straight toward you. Now she can't stop herself, and if you have made no move to stop her yourself...
@LemonZest1337 Charles would sigh from seeing the fight and hearing he was next he knew this was going to be massive drag, luckily though it was for after lunch so he could put it off longer. He'd walk over to Koharu "this is going to be drag isn't it?" he asks her letting his laziness appear as he sighs to himself, "well at least we get to eat first" he simply states before walking towards the lunch room to get some food which he would fill up his plate like normal before taking a seat, take off his mask and begins to chow down.
Koharu would squeak upon having her name called, this meant she'd have to get big again. She shivered at the thought, she wouldn't get as big as last time, no way. She had to sleep outside and it was really cold. She would go to like 4 meters maximum, not that she could really tell how big she was, but she wanted to be able to fit indoors at least. She sat there pondering what she would do, then she realized she was put on a team with Charles. It had to be Charles didn't it? The cute boy who she couldn't focus around, perfect team mate.
Speak of the devil, Charles was now talking to her, she stiffened up and turned to face him, letting out a soft squeak as she did. "D-drag? Oh t-totally." she said, not really agreeing with Charles but also not really looking forward to the confrontation. Why did she have to fight these nice people? She let out a sad sound before responding watching Charles walk off. Koharu didn't get hungry so she just decided to sit under the tree again, she wanted some time to think about what she was going to do. She honestly didn't think she was going to be able to bring herself to fight another student.
Kiyoshi woke up slowly, opening his eyes slowly to see Sora sitting on top of him. He spoke slowly. "Wha..." He shook his head. The pulsing headache that threatened to overtake all of his thoughts. He crawled away, standing up. His legs wobbled, and soon he stumbled and fell back down. The headache was progressively getting worse. Kiyoshi couldn't remember how he had fallen asleep. He stood back up, looked around, and promptly threw up the contents of his stomach onto the ground, before collapsing once more. Thankfully, away from the vomit. He then succumbed to his misery and stayed on the ground, his eyes staring forwards.
After quickly finishing his lunch he'd head back outside to relax before class time, that's when he'd notice Koharu @LemonZest1337 under a tree so he'd walk on over to her without saying a word and sits down next to her and looks up to the sky. He'd had thought maybe they should speak about the upcoming match but decided not to bring it up himself and decided to relax in the silence currently. He knew this was going to be boring for himself and it was something he didn't want to take it to seriously currently since he didn't see a point.
Sora was embarrased at first, as they stared at each other, the uncomfortable situation of waking up wrapped around each other hanging over them, but then Kiyoshi threw up, and was clearly in pain. He must have been knocked out very hard from her horns, which might also mean a concussion, or other types of damage! Dammit, why did he have to put her to sleep mid-lunge? She'd never try to headbutt another student because she knew how dangerous it was.
Sora pulled him to his feet, or frailing that, just lifted him up in both arms.
Celia quickly made her way through the urban arena, speeding through the alleyways. She was incredibly fast, she could probably keep up with a car with the speeds she was reaching. She stopped out the front of the building where the fight went down, she saw that Sora was already carrying Kiyoshi off. "Good work Sora!" Celia would call out before darting into the building to find Edith. It didn't take Celia long to find the mess Mycel and Edith made, it actually made Celia a little sick.
"Mycel are you alright?" Celia would ask as she scooped up the unconscious Edith, gently draping the student over her shoulder.
Koharu heard a slight sound as Charles took a seat against the tree next to her. She looked over at him, she instantly maid a panicked squeak. Why did the cute boy have to be on my team! How am I supposed to focus at all!? Koharu leaned back against the tree and tried to remain calm, only managing to regulate her breathing. At least her thoughts were on Charles and not the impending fight.
Mycel shrugged, kicking away shards of hardened blood away-and also spitting a small shard out of his guts- and showing the teacher an unsure look. "Well, I was penetrated by blood structure in my mold form, but I got it all out so.... I guess I'm still alive?" He said.
