I've played basically every team sport for a season, including nearly a decade of soccer. As an added bonus, always either one of the best players and/or on a team that never lost. (And I'm including being in the Cub Scouts participating in those little model car races.)

(And now I have basically no interests in most sports...) But hey, that's life for you. :D

I don't particularly like kids, but the one thing I do like is that if you're good at the games they like, you're basically a god to them. Maybe a demigod or major hero.

I don't have a problem with kids outside of the fact that I don't want any right now. The past generations of my family tend to have their first child around my current age, and from there they breed like rabbits. Hell, one of my uncles has five daughters of his own, and he's only in his late 30s.

This is so true. I love children and work as a substitute teacher in my children's school district. This year I worked at the Middle School and told several boys I played Fortnite once. To be honest, I really don't care for it. In my storied past, I've played tons of games way better than this. But my one time playing, I ranked 4th out of a hundred with two kills. They all thought I was a God because I did that. I told them I've been playing games like this since long before they were born and I retired from the US Army as an Infantry Officer. That means nothing to them. Just that I did better than they did their first time on Fortnite. LOL

@Sola All in due time. Have children when you are ready. I was 40 when my oldest was born. I have four now and I love them!

I too stand by the thought that people should only have their young when they are ready, completely ready that is. I hear, see, and experience too many samples of people neglecting to pay that kind of due caution. Same can be said for marriages. It is one of many reasons I am so deliberate for myself in deciding these things; a single mistake makes a greater impact than on just one person.

The general experience most have in my presence is of similar vein, at least in the sense that people cannot tell if I mean something in all truth or if it is merely for humor's sake. Granted I avoid doing anything I suspect of being in poor taste, at least to my own perception, I am often taken more seriously than I am in the matter because, as a whole, I am a particularly sincere individual in what I say or do. There is something to be said about that illusion, where one cannot decide what was meant or what was implied or more so, what was taken away. Usually I need break bearing and character for them to realize it was merely in jest.

I am always some parts shocked and frustrated by the fact that most fantasy works have all too few members in the way of felines. It is such a rare, difficult effort to find something that permits it or even encourages it. I reason it really is too much to ask to ask for magically inclined beasts to be more than a peripheral element. Yet, each and every time I try and try again, hoping to partake in one where they might be the lead or at least direct company with the main cast of characters. They are always, if anything, reduced down to mere "kitty cats" or familiars, at best animal companions, but so very, very rarely magical or fearsome things in their own right alone. It is one of my most beloved niche genres and with almost no representation.

Did you ever play EverQuest(2)? I played this game from 1999 to 2003. They had a feline race called the Kerra which allowed characters to play as any class available in game. I don't know if this game is still running.



EverQuest was THE popular MMORPG to play prior to World of Warcraft. The thing that killed EQ was the slow level grind. I remember playing an Ogre ShadowKnight for about 8 months and getting him to Lv34. In WoW you could get to max level in two to three months depending on how often you played.
