@Arthanus He won't grunt and tell people to leave him alone but he's a man of few words and trust issues and, while not exactly a team player, he won't stand by and let his teammates get injured. There are some details about him that I've deliberately omitted which I can PM you if you'd like. Also, sorry in advance for any grammar mistakes. I'm not a native speaker.
There we go guys we can get started now :) hope you weren't sleeping to soundly
@stoneString One thing, Although you answered my question and now I'll say he is accepted you posted your cs on the cs tab a bit to early, Some GM's might get a bit bitchy about that in the future especially if they want you to make changes before accepting the character. Its no biggy in this instance just wanted to give you a heads up. As for the Details you can PM them to me that way I can work with you and make them come into play when the time is right. As for the Grammar its perfectly fine I've spoke English my whole life and still make mistakes, also my Wife's second language is English so I speak pretty good broken English as well :p
Hmmm just noticed I forgot to put a last paragraph detailing Alm's current fight. I'll Wright one up in the morning unless one of you guys want to paint that scene
I didn't want to write too much, so i kind of left it where Sera/ Arden can shout for Volux's attention or somthing. I apologise now for any spelling errors or grammar mistakes, its just been a long day and im tired. Thunderstorm finaly cleared thankfully. Hope what i wrote is enough for whomever follows after, and hoping y'all are doing good.
@Stp th3Swordman yes indeed I'll still look at a cs. Although it's a bit late to be a current member of the team there is defiantly an opportunity to prove yourself here
5'6" moderately toned body, caramel skin tone, gray hair with red highlights, amber eyes
Personality: To some Isaiah has a nasty personality. Cocky attitude, easily angered, and having a bad addiction to drinking alcohol leading to dealing with a loud drunk, most people would steer clear from him. But for those who manage to take the time to figure him out would see the way he holds true to his words, be a reliable ally to have fight with them, and in his own way even if it sounds rude, compliment someone.
Biography: The Drummond clan could be found living on the remote islands just south from the Empire. The clan was known for their two households; the Weapon Smiths being the head clan, and the Weapon Wielders who guard them. The Smithing clan forged many weaponry for the Empire, most of them being infused with soulstones. A weapon that was infused with a soulstone can gain a magic ability, this usually being based off the source the stone came from though a human infused weapon had never been heard of. Then you have the Wielders, who were effective at using different types of swordplay and often carried infused swords. Only a few were ever allowed permission to leave the islands since their clan was mainly tasked with guarding the Smithing clan which often led to disputes between the two clans and as the years go by the arguments had slowly escalated. The current lord of the two clans is a well known smith who had forged over hundreds of weapons in his lifetime and was also known for his kindness towards both his clansman unless punishment was necessary.
Isaiah was born into the Weapon Wielder clan and was the son to one of the greatest warriors known so far in the clan's history and was also considered a hero by many. Unfortunately a year after he was born, his father was K.I.A when fighting side by side with Isaiah's uncle on the front lines of the Empire against the creatures of evil. His father's soulstone and last will was brought back by his uncle and was given to their lord to keep until it was time for Isaiah to receive it. Growing up was tough for Isaiah, His uncle was the one who trained him how to be skillful with the sword so he rarely had time to make friends, not that it mattered considering the personality Isaiah had made it difficult for him to make any in the first place. He also had to deal with his uncle's constant ramblings about how the wielder clan should be the ones ruling instead of the smithing clan which Isaiah shrugged off seeing how he wasn't interested in such things. Soon enough he had adapted his own sword style by the age of 16 which was soon called "The Multiple sword art" where he would plant various amount of swords in the ground around him, then pressure his opponent with the current blade he's wielding before switching off to the next one or sometimes even duel wielding blades. When he reached the age of 18, it was tradition for kids his age to go through a random trial issued by their lord and complete it in order to be officially considered a clansman and be given their infused weapon.
Isaiah was tasked with a challenging trial of combat. He was to pick out any regular blade in the clans armory, then clash against ten infused weapon wielders in a row. Least to say he managed to complete his trial and made a name for himself within the clan as master of the sword arts. Oddly enough during his ceremony, Isaiah was pulled aside from the others by his uncle due to being called in by his lord for a secret meeting. There he was told of his father's last will which said that his father's soulstone was to be infused into the weapon given to Isaiah. Normally such a request wouldn't be granted but due to the services his father had given to the clan, was soon accepted. He was then also given a few beast soulstone infused weapons to accommodate his multiple sword art. What came next no one could have predicted.
Cutting to five hours later a terrifying scene was displayed before the soldiers of the Empire who had arrived recently to the island. Everything was on fire, buildings were destroyed, and piles of dead bodies belonging to both clans can be seen littered everywhere. Isaiah was the only surviving member they recovered from the island and when brought back into questioning, he gave them a sly grin and said "Who knows?" He was imprisoned under the assumption that he committed a massacre but was released a week later when they couldn't find any convincing evidence against him. This didn't stop people from spreading nasty rumors about him doing it but he didn't care what others say about him. He spent his next five years being a mercenary for hire, training his sword skills further, and spent most of his time drinking booze at the bar.
Fighting style: Isaiah is an adept in the art of the sword. Learning how to fight with up to eight blades on the field with his multiple sword art.
Equipment: King of the Blades Gilgamesh ability: Able to store an arsenal of weapons within a pocket dimension to which the user could then summon them later on.
The woven name of the king series: abilities: Each blade has a beast soulstone within them, granting multiple elements to cast but are considerably weaker than most magic spells seen. They could also drain the stamina of their user quickly if used irrationally.
1. Listen to the GM(s), If you have a complaint tell me. I am not an evil dictator and if I am wrong I will admit it. 2. Romance and Gore allowed, But keep it in good taste and in site rules 3. Now not all characters will play nice with each other I understand that, but keep the disputes in the RP not in OOC 4. Be civilized and polite please 5. All basic RP rules apply to this roleplay: Power playing, Meta gaming, and others are not allowed. 6. The story isn't exactly set, If you have an idea for a mission feel free to pm me the details and I'll try to work it in. 7. Copy the rules into a Hider in the "other" of your cs so I know you read them. 8. Get into your character's skin become him or her as you are playing have fun and give us insight into their thoughts. 9. Try to keep active, in both the IC and OOC pages please. And even if you don't have anything to say, at least read the OOC
@Stp th3Swordman the character looks interesting the only thing that is hanging me up is the pocket dimension. I understand the necessity because carrying around 8 swords would be a pain in the ass, but in the bio I don't see where you learned this trick or how you control it.
Extra comment not related to acceptance of character. He seems like an evil little shit just grinning at the destruction of his home.
Ok that's my bit for the day :) Tomorrow I'll give a bit of a glimpse of Jing's fight at the gate and I might throw something at you guys in the East, but for now you guys are mainly helping civi's evac. Please like Jing would send his two medics and the newbie into fierce fighting on purpose :p
Ok sooo this whole working without a day off thing has really thrown me off, didn't even know what day it is. So I'm going to delay my post till tomorrow as I'm spending my time before work this morning going to go watch star wars :) depending on when I get home (and if I can nap before work) I'll try to post today otherwise I'll post tomorrow morning.
Lalala, cant hear you over the sound of how jealous I am. Anyway, gives me time to get my post up, as i think it's definetly due. Joking aside dude, enjoy it.
@AtomicNut well that is true, but with our current team we are lacking some sort of ranged dmg (magic or otherwise) and a heavy tank so if you could fill either role it would help
Name: Sybille Gender: Female Age: 18, but may be older Appearance:
Sybille appears to be a young-looking woman with a thin build and some curves. Her eyes are a haunting gold, and her skin is rather pale. Most important, underneath her long raven coloured hair, her ears are elongated and pointy, betraying her fae-blooded nature.
Bio: Once upon a time, there was a border settlement in the west part of the empire. Said settlement struggled for materials so much than the village men had to enter the Forest of Silence for timber and risk life and limb to obtain the materials needed for their lifes. One of such woodsmen was Ranek. It is said that Ranek, on one of his trips, found a beckoning maiden in the middle of the forest, and became one with her in a forest clearing. Ranek thought as if it was a dream.
It was not, as some time later, a babe was delivered into his doorstep, despite being single. Said babe was a dark-haired girl...with the evident signs of being fey-blooded. Ranek, with a heavy feeling, took the half-human in, as his worst fears had come true. He had laid with an elven woman and this had been the fruit of such union.
Even thought Sybille was a strange, eerie child, his father did his best to educate her, and even convinced the rest of the village that he would adopt the girl, making this sob story or another. However, as good intended as he had been, Ranek could not hold the rumours forever. Sybille did not grow up like the others. She kept being young and childfaced for far longer than she should. And that was before it was found out that she had the gift of magic. At this point, Ranek could not hold it any longer, and sent the child back into the forest where she had been conceived.
While she found her mother, and she was accepted with open arms at first, Elves were the fickle, whimsical creatures. After some decades of training and bonding where she learned her spells and skill with bow, her own mother got bored with her, and sent her back to live as human again. By that time... only the bones and the tomb of her father remained. The people's faces had changed. She felt a mongrel, unable to fit in either world, and with no home to go.
She became a wanderer, and eventually drifted into adventuring. Joining the Blood Rose Irregulars to kill monsters and reap rewards from the Empire seemed a good solution to the mess of her life.
Fighting Style: Sybille can't do close and personal, and she only knows how to flail a dagger in melee. She, however is a decent shot with the bow, and most importantly, she has a peerless aim when it comes to magical combat. She relies on offensive elemental spells for the latter, mixed with barrier techniques and aggressive countermagic. Equipment: A fine enchanted cloak, a dagger. Seweral jewelry accesories containing Soulstones. Skills/Abilities: - Elemental blast: Sybille is adept at flinging elemental blasts at great ranges. Whether it is fire, ice or lightning, she is no slouch in any of them. -Elemental Wall: Likewise, she can create massive walls imbued with the power of elements. -Elf's cross: By employing her blood and chalk to draw a five pointed star, Sybille can make a surface or area to be highly resistant to hostile magic. -Disruption: Sybille can use her own magic power to unravel hostile magic and abilities quite easily. -Enhaced Senses: Being half elf, Sybille has better eyesight (and even nightvision) and hearing than humans. She has also better reflexes. -Archery: While not to the level of her magic, Sybille can shoot fairly well with a bow. -Fey-blooded: She is unnaturally resistant to mind-altering magic and illusions. -Elven Script: She knows how to pronounce and write it.
Other Information: Being a Half-Elf and fey-blooded, she possesses the weakness of the fae to Cold iron. IE: A horseshoe or similar pure iron item would definitely feel like -acid- to her skin.
I hope you dont mind I portrayed the elves as the tricksters of myths, fond of leaving doorstop babies and usually being too bizarre and whimsical to even try to figure out.
