[IC] Pokémon Alola

Chuck bowed before the great man and said "If it's not too much to ask, Kahuna, I was hoping to receive my first Alolan Pokémon."

Hala nodded in confirmation and tossed three Pokéballs into the air. He introduced the Pokémon. "Rowlet, the Grass Quill Pokémon, a grass/flying type, Litten the Fire Cat Pokémon a fire type, and last, but not least Popilio, the Sea Lion Pokémon a Water type."

Chuck looked them all over in awe, as he hadn't seen these Pokémon before. "I'll take Popplio." Chuck said, taking the ball and recalling the Pokémon. Upon inspection, he found that it was a female, so he named her Ariel.

The Rowlet trotted up to Liam and looked at him curiously. Liam squated down. "Why, hello there little Rowlet." Liam said with a smile. Rowlet began to rub aginst Liam's leg. "I think he wants to go with you." Hala said. He tossed Liam Rowlet's Pokéball. "Thanks." Liam said. He decided to nickname Rowlet "Robin".

Chuck decided to head out and explore the area, see what Pokémon he could find.

Liam couldn't wait to see what else was out there, but spent some time playing with Robin and Jangmo-o at the Pokémon Center.

Maui’s nose starts sniffing the air as he smells someone new in Iki town. He follows the scent ofChuck and hides in the bushes. Jen whistles wondering what kind of trouble her Rockruff could get into.

Chuck heard rustling in the bushes and went to check it out, finding the little Rockruff. "Oh hey, it's a Rockruff, I've seen a couple at my parent's Daycare." he said, pulling out a Pokeball. "Looks like you'll be my first capture in Alola!"

Maui shakes his small tail as he wants to play. His master been busy all morning helping everyone at the festival and other events going on today.

"Let's go Ariel!" he said, sending out his newly acquired Popplio.

Maui howls as he is excite but a bit sad that Jen is not here. Heruns around sending sand everywhere for a distraction.

"What an odd Pokémon." Chuck says to himself. "Ariel, use Water Gun!" the Popplio fired off blast of water from her mouth.

Sashia met them at Iki town though having already done everything here. She and her Pokemon choose to keep practicing their dance since they were going to do one before the battle portion of the festival took place. Once again, Dancer lead the moves since she was a Pokemon for these kind of events.

Liam was know walking around Iki Town waiting for the festival to start. "Hey Sashia!" Liam called out as he saw her.

Maui dodges the water gun and tries to tackles the Popplio. Jen pulls out a dog whistles and blows it, Maui ears perks his ears up hearing his master calling.

"Hm?" Chuck said, wondering why he stopped his attack. "Well then, let's try this!" Chuck said, tossing a Pokeball. However, a barrier appeared around the Rockruff, preventing it from being captured. Chuck caught his ball as it bounced back, stunned. "Wait, so you've already got a trainer!?" he said, recalling Ariel.

Maui barks at Chuck wagging his tail, “Maui.” Jen calls loudly, Maui shakes the Hawaiian flowers out of his fur. He takes off running towards the voice he hears.

Chuck decides to follow him, wanting to apologize to his trainer for attempting to capture him.

Maui is surprise that Chuck is following him, he achieve his goal of capturing a friend for his human friend. Maui rubs his head against Jen’s ankle, “Maui. Don’t run off like that.” Maui nuzzles her leg as she pets him.

"Are you that Rockruff's owner?" Chuck asked, catching up.
