Jen examines one of the Alola Vulpix to see what is wrong as it throws up. As another Alolan Vulpix squeaks to Zoroark, strange people left us meat and watch us for days. Some of us did not make. Maui tears as Aura shows Jen and Jen tears up, “posion meat...”

Chuck frowned and rolled up his sleeves. First heading into the Pokémon Center for supplies and then returning, mixing various herbs and berries, grinding them up into a paste and then giving it to the Vulpixes. "Eat this, it should neutralize the poison and get you feeling better." he said to them.

"There are far more efficient ways to poison Vulpix than leaving them poisoned meat," he mused as he felt his anger rise. He started doing the kuji-kiri to calm himself down. Zoro was lending comfort to the Vulpix while Chuck fed them. "The local Officer Jenny will have a field day when she hears of some of these cute Vulpix being murdered," he stated.

Liam balled his hands into such tight fists that his knuckles turned white. "When I find the people responsible, they will be the ones needing a doctor." Liam then went to help distribute the medicine to the poisoned Pokémon.

Rushing up the mountain, Elisa herself had sensed her kin dying and was going to make whoever did it pay. When she saw the group in her blind rage, she almost attacked them but noticed Zoro and then the others so she quickly offered her support to help out making sure each Vulpix would take the medicine Chuck had prepered for them.

Zoro knew Elisa would not have been fooled by his current guise as he was sure the Alolan Ninetales recognised his scent from past encounters. The disguised Zoroark did not let his love for Elisa get in his way of making sure the Vulpix were taken care of, getting a taste of what his future would be like rearing a brood of Vulpix kits.

The antidote was eventually distributed among the poisoned Pokémon. Joy thanked them for their help.

The Vulpix yawn after taking themedcine and curls up to take a nap. Jen release Moana from her pokeball. Maui and Moana sniffs all the Vulpix before taking off into a snow storm cause by angry Pokémon.

"Maybe we should investigate, see if we can find the people who are responsible."

Meanwhile, Jessie, James, and Meowth were sitting in the corner wearing disguises and hiding behind newspapers. They overheard what the heroes were talking about and become upset. Meowth took personal offense to the horrible actions, being a Pokémon himself. They agreed to follow the "Champion twerps" to help bring the culprits to justice. Jessie meanwhile decided that she should also try to catch something for the boss while there. He might be interested in something as rare as an Alolan Vulpix.

Jen sees the Auras of Team Rocket and so did Aura, they will keep a eye on them. “I am for it,” Jen says as she heads to the door with Aura.

Moana tracks down a pair of boots sticking out of the snow. Maui and Moana search around for anymore boots sticking out of the snow. Maui and Moana notice angry Pokémon surround them, they try to explain before they end up in a avalanche. They know Jen, Aura, and their friends are close behind to give them a hand as Moana spits fire to protect herself from a ice beam.

The heroes make their way up to the Alolan Vulpix's habitat. Liam found a few more Alolan Vulpix that were suffering from the poison, along with a white Sandshrew.

"Sandshrew, Alolan Form. An Ice and Steel type. An ancient tradition of Alolan festivals that are still carried on to this day, is a competition to slide Sandshrew across ice as far as one can. Its ice-covered body lets it slide across the ground with bullet-like speed, sending its enemies flying when it hits them. "

Liam cared for it as well.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket's Meowth was asking the Alolan Vulpix if they saw any shady-looking people in the area around the time they started felling ill.

Zoro was eavesdropping on Team Rocket while their Meowth was making inquiries, using an illusion to make himself invisible. Meanwhile Shiranui was helping Liam take care of the poisoned Pokémon.

None of the victims had anything to tell the Meowth, which Meowth told Jessie and James that the Vulpix did not see any suspicious looking people recently.
Liam saw a slab of meat sitting in the cold icy floor. He asked one of the Vulpix if that was the meat in question, to which is weakly nodded in confirmation. Liam pulled out a bag and picked up the poisoned meat and sealed the bag. It would be needed as evidence.
