Assuming Allant knows Jenramo's story, hes mostlikely envious of the man, having gotten to choose to fight rather than it being forced on him, though he does appreciate the man's respect for the dead and their memory. He probably pities the abtisocial little kid the group drags around, wishing she had a life to turn to other than monster slaying.
